Tried to order product during their "Buy More Save More" campaign.
They never had the item I wanted. (Capstone Helmet)
I logged a notify me request.
Finally when they had it they would not honor sales campaign any more.

I complained....they suspended my account.

We had a 2012 triglide and we just purchased a 2021 triglide. The 2012 rode rough but the 2021 rides miserably rough. It rides ok on a perfectly smooth road but we live in Iowa and our roads are not perfectly smooth. On a rough road it will almost jar your teeth out and compresses you spine because it rides like a steel wheel wagon. On a wavy road it rides like a bucking bronco. It is so bad that my wife will not ride on the back so I am in the process of having after market shocks put on it.
I think it is a disgrace that after paying $35,000 for a motorcycle you have to take off the original equipment shocks and put on after market shocks to make
it rideable. This will be my last Harley! We always get a lot of comments about our trike when we are riding and people want to know how we like it. We will definitely be honest and say we don't and would not recommend buying one unless they ride on perfect roads.

I purchased a HD 500 street in 2015.
I know this is an older bike but rarely ride it. Bike has 4500 miles. I've had so many issues with this that I'm afraid to even ride it, reason for the low mileage. I was riding on the highway when the bike turned off, I was in the center Lane. Talking about scary situation! I had it fixed. Next thing was turn signal switch. I turned it on left and the switch and spring inside flew off. Everything is missing. I pulled to the side to find the switch, it was all I could find. Next is turn signal wiring. The wires have no slack so when you turn it stretches the cables, it eventually broke in half. Battery does not last. I switched out two batteries, something is causing it to drain. For a new bike this thing sure is a hazard to ride. Someone should help me fix this thing.

A Harley rider for over 50 years with 9 different bikes I have loved every minuet of it. With those 9 bikes I have dealt with 4 different dealers. Until working with Hoosier Harley in Elkhart the positive attitude was consistent. My experience with Hoosier was devastating. Since my riding days were overs, I was giving my last and favorite bike to my Grandson in Elk Heart Indiana. To make sure all was tip top I shipped the bike directly to Hoosier to have the bike up to standards. Ten thousand mile service new tires etc. The service included adjustment of the clutch. Two days after my grandson picked up the bike the transmission froze almost causing an accident. Bike was taken back to Hoosier. After a week of beating around bush the service manager finally said the problem was caused " by the rider keeping pressure on the clutch and over heating the throw out bearings. Fellow riders would you buy a story like that. My grandson is 24 years old and a experienced rider. Finally got to talk to the owner, Russ and was that an experience. He was telling in a very condescending manner that it was obvious my Grandson had been hot-rodding and doing wheelies to cause the problem. Besides the fact it was a 22 year old sof tail with an untouched evo. Besides the fact that I had just spend almost $1200 dollars for their work I was told I had to get in the appointment line for repair. After they charged me $250 for looking at myransmission, I Took the bike a Harley Factory Mechanic to find the problem and do repairs. He quickly identified the problem. Clutch was adjusted to tight cause constant contact with the throw out bearings. Hoosier mechanic had just done and adjustment on the clutch. Pretty clear what the transmission problem was. In addition it turned out that Hoosier had installed the wrong tire on the front of the bike.
Incompentant work failing to own up to their shortcomings

Winterville, N.C. Dealership. Messy, given a closed time to bring motorcycle in, not wandering messages, and called again for service department, and lady slammed the phone down and off. Alot of negative vibes there. A few don't but others do, and the racist customers is just what it is. That is a seperate part that is not a part of Harley-Davidson but has always been there.
After the second experience with them this week, I will work hard to sell the motorcycle, and be done with Harley-Davidson. I don't need this type of hatefully behaviour. That's the attraction there.

What's the problem with all the noise in the m8 ? I crank the stereo up and can hear the noise over it. It's got 7500 miles! I spent 30k on this bike and it sounds like a sewing machine. I've taken it back to the dealership multiple times only to be told it's a Harleys it's normal get used to it turn the radio up. But I've heard other bikes and they sound way quieter than mine. Keep in mind I'm not talking about exhaust I'm talking about tons of engine noise rattling. It's the most horrible sound ever. This is my third Harley nothing has ever made a noise like this. I'm tired of being told it's a Harley they're loud when I know for a fact there's a problem with this thing. Scared to have my wife on it I'm scared to have my kids on it scared to take it on any kind of long trips. What is going to be done because everybody knows there's something going on that's making these engines sound like sewing machines. I can't get no help from the dealers because they all think I'm crazy I want to make me feel like I'm crazy. All I'm saying is I spent $30,000 on this thing and I hate to even ride it! This is a 2020 street glide special I am talking about. People tell me there's things I can do to it to quiet down but I have to use aftermarket parts that will void my warranty. So what the hell do I do? It's just sitting in my garage because it is annoying to ride. Do I go to the Better Business Bureau? Does that matter do I try to file under a lemon law? Because of the dealership is saying there's nothing wrong with it But it sounds nothing like anybody else's m8 I love the Harley Davidson's but I am afraid I am about done. Keep in mind I buy a new one about every 2 to 3 years look it up! I am about to switch to a different brand because I am so disappointed with this noisy noisy machine.

I have a 2019 CVO Street Glide and a 2019 CVO Limited. In March 2020 carried my CVO Limited motorcycle in to the HD dealer for 5,000 mile service. Tech installed the latest Infotainment down load on my bike. GPS has not worked properly since. Had no issues before the download was installed. In June 2020 I carried my 2019 CVO Street Glide to HD dealer in for service. Again Tech installed the latest Infotainment download on my bike. (Did not ask for it) GPS has not worked properly since. Had no issues with either bike before the downloads were installed.

How in gods name do you come off voiding a warranty on a bike that cost me 30 grand because Harley Davidson didn't put my mufflers on ? You can't void a warranty period ! There is a federal law stating that . Yes I can afford a law and yes I DID . You rotten people think you can screw anybody you want because you're a corporation I've been buying and riding Harleys for the last 52 years and I can see why your company is going to dogs because you have leadership of liberal asshats who think they can do anything they want. Hopefully you company will go out of business and Indian motorcycle takes all your customers . You will not screw me !

My bike was taken in on 05 June 2019 for repairs or rather replacement of the windshield, engine guard, indicator light and I also asked them to sort out an oil leak. The oil leak hose was about R70,00 and the Service Advisor promised then that the technician will sort it out. I continuously followed up, every * weeks they would tell me they are waiting for a part here and there. There is always this bad attitude from the General Manager, Service Advisors, Technicians and some Sales Consultants. The only civil people are the Sales Consultants at Merchandise section only. The feedback is always what can they do if they have not received shipment; they are overloaded with work and do not have time to answer technical related queries. Even the owner acknowledges that the parts I need are not earth shattering that it warrants waiting this long. I was given the bike back for the day (** August ****) as I needed to attend a paid planned ride. I was promised by the General Manager of Clearwater Harley Davidson that the oil leak was sorted out. After the ride I realised that it was not sorted out, the GM said "it was just a quick fix" and that they will have to order appropriate parts. My safety was put at risk as well as causing more damage to the bike. I then informed the owner of Harley Davidson about my dissatisfaction and he told me that he was going to investigate and revert back to me. On 19 August 2019 he said that my bike will be sorted out the very same week. The Service Advisor called me on 21 August 2019 and I thought she was informing that my bike will be delivered. She told me that they cannot source the oil hose anywhere in SA and therefore have to place an order overseas. I requested a loan bike previously from the manager who refused and told me that they do not give loan bikes. A lot of people have been given loan bikes. As a result of this inconvenience I requested a loan bike due to a planned ride that was going to be on 24 August 2019 which was going to be an early start. I asked the Service Advisor to have the bike delivered the day before the ride.
She emailed me this response "The bike can be picked up at our dealership at 08:00 and needs to be back at 13:45 on Saturday as no bikes are allowed to "sleep out" as per our Insurance requirements".

I have missed a lot of rides, I have been to a paid Rally without my bike, I am paying a lot of money towards a bike that is not in my possession!

I DO NOT HAVE MY BIKE NOW FOR 4 MONTHS!!!

This is not the first time this has happened - previously my bike was kept for 6 months.

Absolutely bad service, it depends who you are and my bike not prioritized.

Greetings. Dropped my bike off at Tyler Texas Harley around Feb, 2018 for some cosmetic repair and paint. They still have my bike and have not completed the job. I keep getting the run around about waiting on paint. Would appreciate some assistance.

Bought my Harley BRAND NEW.
After less than 100 miles, the exhaust fell off, without as much as an apology for the dealer.
A few miles later, metal fatigue (on a new part), resulted in a similar situation, OVER A YEAR TO DATE, still awaiting spares on a minor part.
Wait an average of 3 WEEKS to have your bike serviced.
Wait an average of 2 months for ANY minor repair.

Harley Davidson- NEVER AGAIN.

I bought a new street glide in 14, really do enjoy it. We rode a 17 thinking maybe do an upgrade? Very nice! This was in July. Still waiting on our free tees. Any updates would be appreciated. Look forward to hearing from you. Thx!

Some time ago I mentioned about my gages fogging up. I was told even replacement gages would do this. How about replacing speedometer with Harley replacement that has the tach and all together. Saw one on a shelf at Harley dealer in Tulsa. I have a 2015 Low Rider with a Harley extended warranty. Since original gages will keep doing this, it would be an alternative. Otherwise I'll just let Harley replace them every few months until the warranty expires in 5 years.
