Optimum's service is the worst ever! I was paying for 400 Mbps, but at no time was that what (according to speed tests on optimum's website) I received. Strange coincidence that the service was nearly non-existent near holidays such as Christmas and Easter I finally was able to afford a better service. At one point, without me even requesting they added some fee for a promotion or something. I had to really argue to get it taken off. They raised the bill without notice and when I complained they were resistant and finally agreed to keep the price I was paying - then said it was only for 1 year!
As soon as it was installed and operational, I took Optimum's equipment to the retail store. Megan was super nice, kind and helpful to me a deaf customer. She called for me to disconnect the account. She was much more patient with customer service than I would have been. Thank you so much, Megan! Please see that Megan receives 5 stars. She deserves it!
It's too bad your internet service is not nearly as good as the folks who work in the retail store! Megan at the retail store in Conroe gets 5 stars! Optimum customer service gets 1 star.
