Sunday June 4th at Village Plaza; 4689 Knight Arnold Rd; Memphis, TN 38118 US; PHONE: 901-505-6951; View Store Details. Family Dollar .. The manager on the floor was very rude. Said that I could not take my things to the car. I bought a basket full of supplies and when I got back, my washing powder was on the floor and the top was broken. I could not take it out because of your store, doors and windows are boarded up with with it, and I could not see who did it but when I came back after I pay for all of my items and they were in the basket, the washing powder was all over the floor call the store manager on the phone she said 5 pounds. She can't don't want to talk to me and she they could not compensate me for another big bottle of washing powder are use the oxy clean the large bottle. All of it was on the floor and they could not give me another one because he says they not responsible for my things that they could not allow me to take to the car in the basket he got so rowdy with me because I was complaining and asking for HR managers and somebody to talk to so I could get my washing powder and go home. He pushed my basket out the door and I told him if you had done this in the beginning. For him to be angry with me and push my basket out the door with very, very rude very very poor customer service for him to be a store supervisor this was absolutely fraudulent. I called the police to make a police report and he could not do that but I have video and tape of the whole incident. I want my washing powder I feel I should not be responsible if I could not take the things out at one time, in your basket, the store is boarded up I could not see who drop my washer powder all over your floor and it was paid for.

On JUne 2 i shopped at the SPRIN HILL STORE-SPENT 166. I HAD MY FIVE DOLLAR ($5.) COUPON ON MY REGISTERED MOBILE
Manager on duty said OH that was last Saturday
Today Saturday June 3 i sa again that the coupon was on site expiring June 3.
Calling the store as none of my coupons were applied, today and unknown female said oh the coupon is only good today
I asked why its never useable and contradiction information

On phone she claimed we are all managers. However she was allowing me to speak to manager(???) she never put me on hold as she was checking out customers -I hung up after waiting...

The female manger needs to be just a little bit nicer. She does not have a very good customer relationship. Seems like she is always hateful. She needs to know how to explain things to people in a nicer manner.

All the comments echo my sediments from Phila, Pa. I can't understand for the life of me how the company stays in business. After a visit last week, I resolve to never ever patronize thatchers stores again.

I am a customer of the Family Dollar store, I was wondering why they have to close the store until 5 PM. Just as well close the store the seniors that depend on it but it's not open is very unfair.

Store closed at 714pm. No one to be around no employees at all in store store dirty prices missing things all in wrong g place how can y'all allow for this to be like this is rediculoua can y'all get good people at this store manager never here store closed dirty stuff everywhere store needs real help literally

Salem, Ma store is a nightmare. No products on shelves, workers are rude and disrespect customers. Refuse to accept manufacturer's coupons. When I questioned the reason for this I was told they were probably fakes I made at home.
Today there were five people in line and no cashier in sight. Waited in line for 10+ minutes when a cashier emerged.

The store always smells like moth balls.

It is too bad because this used to be a great store.

The store in Syracuse 4915 South Ave is always closing early. They have different times almost everyday. I went there today at 6:45 pm, the store hours clearly say open until 8pm. There were at least 5-7 cars that came and left. This is ridiculous, I've come earlier in the day, and the store was closed. Do you not want our business? Something needs to be done, the store is very convenient for me distance wise.

Store 9106 (2051 Austell Road, Marietta)is often never opens on time. Unauhtorized persons behind the register and in storerooms. Homeless people often unloading trucks for employees. Stock commonly left in the aisles for days which is a hazard.

I was refused service by an employee who appeared to be intoxicated last weekend. She wanted me to come behind the counter (register) and watch a video with her???

Please don' t shop here. You will thank yourself.

On 3/5/23 I visited Family Store #47. I was going to purchase several miniature bite size candies that had a clear posted cost of $1 each. I go to pay for six packs and expecting to pay $4 plus tax. Instead, I was charged $6 plus tax. I informed the Cashier that the cost is $1 each. She tells me that the register was charging $1.25 ea. I asked her to honor the price and another Cashier, Christine, spoke up and said the price is $1.25 but, that the sku's on the candy hasn't been corrected. Christine said she was Manager and she did not honor the posted price. I was flabbergasted. Customers determined what to buy and how much by the cost of the product. So, to change the information "used" to purchase the items and for Family Dollar not honor it is a form of stealing. I want them to honor the visible cost or change or update it in their system for Customer transparency.
A Business can charge any they want if the price tag is supposedly wrong. I left the candy and went to Dollar General. Their price were incorrectly labeled as well but, they put the Customer first and did the reputable thing and changed the price to what was showning on the shelf.

Family dollar in Waterbury ct on store ave is robbing their customers out of their money . They are rude and disrespectful . They have signs up for 50/60% discount and then wanna charge the full price and when u tell them about their sale sign they won't obey by it

Family Dollar's philosophy is "the customers are the boss and you need to keep them happy"
When I looked up how to make a complaint about my experience at family dollar this statement is what I found. (see above) With that being said, Store # 04938 108A E Delaware St. Decatur Michigan 49045. I have lived in this town my entire life. I have been a customer since Family Dollar came to our small little town. Approximately two weeks ago, I went in to grab a few things. The women (assist manager "Brandi") was working the cash register. I brought my items to the counter and she rang them up. I was using cash, so I handed her the money. (there is a large line of customers, behind me) she looks at me and starts to chastise me because I put the money in her hand the wrong way. She says, "why did you put the money in my hand like that"? I said why did I put the money in your hand like what? She says you put in my hand ruff!!!(in a load voice). I said how would you like for me to put it in your hand? Do you want me to put it on the counter? Did you want me to throw it on the counter? Or would you like for me to be polite and put it in your hand? She continues to speak to me in a loud voice! (this went back and fourth for a few minutes) finally I said, why don't you stop talking to me and do your job! She finally rings out my order and I leave. (completely humiliated)
I went back about 1 week later. "Brandi" is talking to another cashier that had just relieved her from her shift. She says loudly I have to get out of here she just walked in. I get the items I came in for, the cashier greets me, I get my things and leave her last name is (Reeves).
Then yesterday 2/14/2023 I go into the family dollar as usual to get my items. I take them to the counter, I ring the bell Brandi comes behind the counter looks at me and says HELL NO. and walks away. I take my phone out and start recording. A minute or so goes by... and the Manger (silver haired lady) comes up to me from behind the counter (Brandi, is behind her) and she says to me. it is my understanding that you two have a problem with one another? I said no I do not, I will tell you what happened. So, I proceeded to tell her the situation that happened. she says well since you are paying with a card and I do not have to touch her drawer I can ring you out. While this is going on Brandi is standing behind her making slide comments. I looked at the Manager and said... I do not come in this store for conversation, I do not come in this store to stand and visit. I don't come in this store to make friends. I come here to get the item I need and leave. I asked the manager if she has ever encountered an issue with me. or if anyone has ever encountered an issue with me, ever? She said no I have not, but Brandi has. I told her the only problem was her trying to chastise me for not PUTTING THE MONEY IN HER HAND CORRECTLY!
So, this is my take on this situation. (Brandi) was trying to have me removed from the store. (but why) because I didn't appreciate being chastised in the store in front of everyone. Yesterday had I not had a card. I would have been refused service?!! I feel as though I have been humiliated and I feel as though I am being treated unfairly. Why should I feel so threatened that I must record my interaction at the local family dollar? If the philosophy is the customer is the boss. Why do I feel less then? Is it because I am a person of color? Is it that any employee that doesn't like someone should not have to serve them? When you work in customer service you put your feeling aside and do your job. The job you are being paid to do. Not to take your personal feeling and apply them to the customer. I have never, ever had a problem going to Family dollar. I have talked to multiple people in the town of Decatur. I am not the only one that has had a rude interaction with Brandi. If I need to give names and phone number I can get them. If I must post something in the local paper about my personal experience in family dollar or perhaps a review on any site I can post, as to how I feel singled out by the employees. I should not have to go to that length. I should not have to take time out of my day to write the letter. I should not have to plead my case to be able to feel comfortable to shop in your store. I am not sure what is going to happen in this situation, something needs to be done.

I should not have to stop shopping at Family Dollar because Brandi does not like me. As I said earlier, I come to the store to purchase items and leave not have a conversation or an issue. I do not appreciate the apprehension and anxiety that I have developed do to this incident.

OK so my local family dollar, Dansville N.Y. (14437) has a small problem, the toilet in the north lavatory seems to be plugged up, I've tried to plunge it doesn't work....
So I spoke to the boss and he is aware of the problem but led me to think that his manager won't fix it... It's a new store, 1-2yrs old...
So who is in charge of the region and why is it taking "MONTHES" ?? NOT DAYS??
It's a simple job the land lord should fix in less than 2-3 hours??
Please help the "new" manager is much better than that

Went to FD in Batesville AR. I was denied use of 2 accts. I was also told I couldn't come back the same day. This is ridiculous! I am using coupons off my account. But could not get my account to scan properly so I had to run under my grandmas who I shop for because she is 84. I had to return the two items and lady told me I could not come back today and get them. I think this is an inconvenience for customers. I was also given a hard time about the items I bought. I was told those were suppose to be pulled. Why offer coupons if y'all will pull items? Makes no sense and is not good for business. Dollar General has never done this to me and I'll be taking my business else where: I will also let everyone I know that batesville ar FD needs to be removed as a store they go to! I'm not a happy customer and I'll not be returning!

I went to store number 13484 in Dallas ga ' I think you must review your manager LISA very rude and needs to be fired ! Should never have a problem with a manager she is your problem fix it or no one will shop there

Milton Florida. Hwy 87N and Dogwood Drive intersection. I just about couldn't believe the aggressive behavior exhibited by the frumpy cashier. She called me back into the store, stating that I caused an alarm to trip. I didn't hesitate to do so, but my attitude quickly changed when she demanded me to empty my pockets and show her the contents. I was told, as she held a phone in her hand., that she would call the law if I didn't comply. She took her responsibility to an extreme level and was bordering harassment. I strongly encourage the corporate brass to consider a little public relations training for this employee. I was in the store to buy a big of gummy worms. Total elapsed time of my presence less than one minute from door to register. How much could I have stolen, and what of any value can one sneak out with from the Family Dollar? If I was her company superior. she would unfortunately not be eligible to retire from the company. Truly astonishing how a uniform changes people into super employees! Funny stuff.

The cashier and the manager at store #07705 in Slidell, La were extremely rude and unprofessional. The cashier refused to put my items in a bag, and when I requested she did so, she refused again saying "most people don't want this in a bag so that's why I didn't put it in one." When I told her that I'm not most people and would like my items in a bag, she became hostile and verbally aggressive towards me. The manager came over and yelled at me not to speak to her cashier that way and then proceeded to "help me" by making me put my own items in the bag. In the process of ringing up my items, the cashier threw plastic bags at me from the other side of the register and continued to be verbally hostile towards me. It just became one big unnecessary power struggle just because the cashier didn't want to bag my items. The manager threatened to call the police on me because I was visibly angry at being verbally assaulted. I will never shop at this store again. I left so mentally and emotionally distraught that I cried on the way back to my house. I've never experienced this kind of treatment in a Family Dollar.

I was at the location on Franklin St in Lancaster pa... The employee ringing me up was very rude. She was banging on the monitor and keyboard and just being downright Iberians. After she rang me up I told her that she should be nicer to customers. As I walked away to put the car back she yelled I'm sick you f-in b****!!!!! In front of customers and my young child!!! This is the kids of employees you like to have working for your store????

Family dollar on Calumet avenue and 165th street has hours posted on doors that they close at 10pm. I pulled into the lot I seen an associate open the doors and let someone in I just walked up to the doors got the doors closed on me knocked on them said it's 9:50 I just need a gallon of milk the guy says we're closed and slams the door I said can I have your corporate number and he walks away another lady who was sitting in her car comes to the door we're closed and I said I just want to get out of milk and I wanted your corporate number and he just walked away she said he said we were closed I said well your hours tell me otherwise and I said it was really unprofessional I just need to get out of milk I would have taken 30 seconds then she says oh the systems are down well if the system's down you could have put a sign up instead you're slamming doors on me walking away from me and it's really unprofessional and then she cursed me out and told me to never f****** come back and I would like this addressed my phone number is 219-293-9851 my name is Tiffany I would like to hear back from someone at corporate regarding this as I work in the service industry and customer service as well and when a store says they close at 10 you're supposed to close at 10:00 not whenever the hell you feel like it thank you
