Be careful!

I bought a Samsung Galaxy 5 from Cell One (full-price)one month ago. It was loaded with Kit-Kat (4.4.2). Samsung has come out with their latest version of Android (Lollipop) which it has been trying to load on my phone with no luck. That download sucks my data usage very quickly.

After being on the phone with numerous people, I discovered that I bought a phone that can NEVER be updated to a new operating system because of the firmware they installed in the phone. Data tech spent all over an hour googling trying to find an answer. Great training and customer service, guys!

HORRIBLE! I have been with Cellular One since before they were Cell One. Back when they were Centennial and before 4G, I had NO issues. Lately they seem to be getting worse and worse. I barely have a signal at my house, which is strange because there is a tower 6 miles down the road. My husband gets shotty service at work and had never had an issue until recently. My daughter plays softball, so we tend to travel many places, but in several places, I have NO SIGNAL at all. Can't send a text or make phone calls. Today I am on my last straw!!!! I have NO SIGNAL and I'm at work! NEVER had an issue at work before! Cellular One has gone to crap!
I've never had a problem with customer service though!

Cellular One has the worst service I have ever experienced in any cell phone provider. I had a contract for 2 years; I'll never use them again. Smart phone data is glacial (except that's an insult against the speed that glaciers move); the people you reach for customer service act like they're doing you a favor instead of keeping their jobs and making their company look good; in general, this is a miserable, low down, flea-dog excuse for a cell phone provider. Avoid them!

Dropped calls, no connection, texts that say "Not Delivered" way TOO FREQUENTLY, duplicate texts sent to most of my clients - how annoying, NO Service, Out of Service even in metro areas, rude employees,know it all employees that don't know how to listen, and on and on, but the best part is they actually expect you to pay for the "service" -
Heres my advice. You were looking for service when you found Cell One ... just keep looking.

I have been with Cellular One for about 12 years. I used to have great service with them until they went 4-G. When I went to West Monroe, La. my service was null from Georgetown, La. to W. Monroe and back to Georgetown. They say they are working on this issue. They have been working on this issue for 5 weeks. Last night I went to Zachary, LA. When I got to Baton Rouge my service stopped. I came home through the New Roads and Hwy 1 area. not an inkling of service till I got into the 5th ward area. I am trying to run a successful delivery service. I dont expect my Cellular phone service to make me lose customers because they want to keep me. THEY ARE LIKE HOLDING ME HOSTAGE. I will be talking to an attorney Monday morning. Please people stay away from Cellular One in Alexandria, La. THEY TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE.

I tried to get phone service with Cellular One in Alexandria, LA. Bud was supposedly the manager there. They charge me for restocking fees, equipment charges and phone service for two lines for three days (one of days was a Sunday) which I never had phone service other than in their office or within one mile from office. I live over 30 miles away from the office. I would recommend new management in Alexandria office as well as no one in Avoyelles Parish, LA to not try to get service with Cellular One. Also would like my full refund as promised by associate. Don't be scammed by not reading small print of a contract that they don't tell you that they charge what they want.

Cellular One. Do not do business with them. My elderly mom had a contract for 24 months with them, and they harassed her into paying for a 25th month saying if she did not pay they would charge her a termination fee of $250, even though her written contract term with them was completed. She has a copy of the written contract. When she paid the extra month to avoid a "bad credit report" they threatened her with, they told her "now you will receive your final bill." These people need to go out of business soon. SAD!!!

Samsung Galaxy 3 died after less than a year. Had to contact a 3rd party warranty servicer online. Site kept saying my membership id was invalid. Tried to re-register and it said the id was already in use. Got no help from phone number to 3rd party, and no help from people in store. Warranty expired and I purchased services elsewhere. When I cancelled my service for that line, they charged me $350 for early termination, even though I have three other lines (not under contract) with them. Needless to say, I am pulling all servicee from this company who has no regard for customer service. Last customer service rep in store I talked to had very bad attitude and kept talking over me as I was trying to explain my situation. I do not recommend this company or Samsung smart phones at all. I now have iphones with no problems at all.

After 4 days of service I receive a bill for 284.00. I ask why the bill so soon and was told its pro rated. So 4 days after due date my service was interrupted. Contacted customer service in an attempt to make arrangements for payment. And was told no. So paid bill, next month same issue. No warning emails, no warning phone calls. just interruption. Customer service is awful. Cellular one is definitely for the money and not for customer satisfaction. Would not recommend it to anyone!!!!!

I have had cellular one for about 11 Yrs. and never had problems with it until they went 4 G and since then nothing but problems. Dropped calls, static, fading in and out, phone shutting down, etc. I have complained and complained. I always pay my bill on time and this is the service I get. My sons have separate contracts, with 4 each on theirs, I have 4 lines on mine and together we pay over $9,000 a yr. for phones and this is the service we get. I have complained and complained and no solution. They first said it was the samsung phone so they gave me a motorola and it does the same thing. I think it is Cellone and their service. Then now they want to switch me to a samsung again and it would be a used one. I am going to go get legal help because they are not living up to their contract. It is not right. I will never go with them again, once I get out of this!!!!!

By far the worst customer service ever! The call center representatives give out false information and make false approvals only for the Winslow store agent to deny the request. This lead to an escalated call center manager (which was really call center agent posing as a manager) to over-ride the store agents denial and approve the request. Only for this to escalate to the store manager (who is in another city) to once again deny the request. This was a very time consuming matter. The call center agaents are not trained well, they allow them to pose as managers and no body was on the same page. Absolutely horrible customer care! They dont even provide you with a written return policy. ("it is verbal") Never Again!

I have two cellular one phones. One phone was an add a line for 9.99 per month. I asked when can I cancel the 9.99 line and I was told that It was not under a contract but when I wanted to turn the phone in, I was told that I had to wait until 2014 because it was under a contract. Also I was having trouble with my main line. I took the phone in for service and to fix the service the gave me a new phone and switched the contract over to the 9.99 line. The line that I was not having any issues with. Now I am stuck with a phone that I do not need. I have decided to not pay the phone bill and let them sue me. I can buy me a phone from wal-mart with no contract.

So we have been customers for 5 years. Paying our bill on time. We get a message thatservice would be disconnected. We had just paid our bill. We called and we owed .27 cents. Asked if we could pay on our next billing. Oh no you have to pay the .27 cents or our service would be disconnected. Way to go with customer service. You just lost two long term customers.

Customer service is non existant at this company. I have been a customer for 15 years and in the beginning it was good. Now I will no longer be a customer after the end of my contract.

Cellular One sucks! I pay for internet but can't use it unless I'm in an area that offers Wi-Fi. I tried to handle the situation at work by using the online chat with customer service and after going through several steps the agent placed me on hold and NEVER CAME BACK!!

My services were interputed due to non payment. which i intentionaly did not pay. I had made a verbal complaint and i was told a regional manger would call me, and he/she never call me. i listen to KTNN radio station and the person on the air which i consider is full of hot air at this very moment. False Ads. there is no customer service. well navajo nation we been suckered into another take your money and shut up kind of deal. now maybe someone will call me.

Right there with you! I have their internet services, which work fine, when they are working! Problem is, they are down more than up, and all they want to do is blame your end, which in my case has been 1 time in the past 6 years! I am so sick of them saying that they have up to 72 hrs to respond to an issue when THEIR policy clearly states that they are to be in contact with you within ONE business day. 99% of the time they work remotely, never actually appearing at your place, and then call you days later to tell you they made some change on their equipment. But don't forget your payment, or they can conveniently shut you off INSTANTLY! We definitely need more ISP's in our area!

I love cellular one prices but hate there service they provide. When I make or recieve calls the person on the other end cann't hear me my phone starts to fade out. I am so sick of the technicians and someone will get back to you. They have false advertisement, and can't seem to fix my problem,but they have there hand out every month wanting money. To cansel my contract they want 175.00 per phone which I have 2 what A big expense for service they can't provide. I have complained to everyone I know including better business bureau. Hopefully soon I can be done with this problem the next step is getting an attorney and fighting the contract out in court on cellular one expense.

My cell phone service (sic) has been bought three times in five years. I pay my bill on time each month. However, my first bill from Cellular One raised my my State tax by $3.63. After several emails advising them that my State had not had a Telcom tax increase in several years, they finely credited my account. Bill was OK until my January 2012 bill which showed I owed $.38 by 02-22-12. To avoid a late fee, I mailed a $.38 check on 02-08-12. As of today (02-21-12) I still owe $.38. All my emails go unanswered and the web site live chat does not work, Calling customer service (sic) is a joke.

I've used several cell phone services and all are terrible.

We had our phone thru three companies (one buying out another etc)for several years. Since we have had Cellular One we have been unable to receive or send calls when in Canada. Three months ago my phone went completely dead and tried a new battery. The local office tried to sell us another phone. We decided to just wait out our contract and end service while using my husband's phone. His died two days ago and mine started working today. I had many messages on mine and they were for someone else. Can't wait to get thru with the contract next month. Also had called the local office and they have been no help except to try to get us to buy new phones.

My husband was having poor service issues with his phone - The store suggested he get a new one. So, new phone, new "data package" (because it was a smart phone) and still... same problems. Well, we decided it was just the area and were going cancel service. Contract is up in June 2012. Ok - so we'll wait it out... come to find out, that his "Service Contract" is up in June 2012, but the "Data Contract" is up in September of 2013 so even after we cancel his "Service" in June, we'll have to pay not only a $100 early termination fee, but also $20/month until the contract is up. BEWARE of this!!!! I'm sure it's in the "fine print" but it's a very very bad way to do business. I feel so deceived. Also, when you send them feedback, they don't respond and there has been twice that I tried to reach them via 800 number and never got through to a real person.

My Centennial service is now Cellular One. My first bill was $3.62 more than my Centennial bill. Live chat went very well until, Hollie, my chat adviser. advised my State had a sales tax increase. Totally wrong. My State communications tax is the same now as the past two years. I asked Hollie to hand me off to a supervisor. She advised supervisors do not chat. Amazing! Hollie also advised I would need to call and see if a supervisor is available. Amazing! I requested somebody to email me a copy of the document that authorized the new tax. They can not do that. I am not wxcited with calling because I know it will be a stress test.

poor customer service, was refused to speak to someone higher than the on floor supervisor and when asked for the address for customer complaints wasn't given the address or phone number to reach them. Was given no option but to do it their way or no way at all.

as i was going into the cell phone store by beef o bradyes i wass not greeted and the store was full of employees. the rap music they were playing was really really loud. the workers there were all loud and unhelpful and rude.
