Long term loyal Canon customer. Just purchased $400 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier.

Purchased another Canon because I remembered the outstanding, courteous, customer service (cameras, printers, etc). This new printer had to replace a printer that worked for 12 years and the company tech employees were kind, friendly, always gave you time to explain issues.

With my new printer, $400 when I could/should have switched brands, I stuck with Canon based on those past positive experiences.

Tried to explain to the second tech what I needed help with-the feeder and printer. Explained the tech I asked to help me set it up, ditched me with printing from laptop and camera. A fraction of what the hardware is capable of.

The rep on this call, who was knowledgeable, but just wanted to zip through the call, when I, a non tech, used a different term she was condescending; explained I had no issues with speed but wanted to push this non-issue over to Verizon, I think because it printed fine and fastest.

Had an emergency today and needed to scan and email an important document. Rep. knew equipment but she didn't give me the courtesy of explaining my questions. I'm disabled and the laptop can't be near the printer based on how long I waited to register, she just had me rushing back and forth and if by accident I touch a button attempting to squeeze through back to the table we use in another room, she gave me attitude like I'd done it because I was having such fun with the tech.

I explained I wanted to know how to use the functions, when she heard my wife's voice she had the audacity to ask for her when I was clearly the one doing the work and who was familiar for a non-tech (the one doing the tech work in the house-I suspect she just wanted to dictate to a customer how didn't know what help she needed do she could drop the call).

When she gad a customer who had real questions, who was a loyal customer. I might as well have been a speed dump. She's rushing tech calls and I fear some people who might be intimated would give up and then spend hours on subsequent calls.

I called the support center and when I asked how to avoid the problem I was having, the technician said these are machines and can't be predicted and then he hung up on me.

Worst Printer EVER. This is my second Cann as had trouble with first. Was not going to get Canon but was given a discount so took it much to my regret. Of course you use a printer when you need it and that is when a problem occurs. Like every time I need it. Have spent 2 hours this morning. It says printer is in use but it also says printer if offline. Followed many different instructions but nothing works. This is a new printer. Really fed up and now I have to wait until tomorrow to talk to someone as online service does not work. Have wasted more time and tears over Canon printers. NEVER AGAIN.

I have called Canon numerous times regarding printer issues. Their automated service to get you to the correct department is just AWFUL. I am asked what kind of a device I am calling about I say PRINTER. Then I'm asked what the model number is, I respond. Then I'm asked again what kind of a device I'm calling about and I respond PRINTER. Again I respond. It's an endless loop of the same questions. Sometimes I get cut off. When I call back it's the same BS. When I finally get a live person I get put on hold for over an hour. I'm on hold as I'm writing this review and so far I've been on hold for 40 min. Although I like their products, their phone service (before I get a technician) is just the WORST. I do NOT recommend Canon just based on the ongoing phone issues.

My husband purchased and paid in full for a Canon lens that cost over $2500 directly from Canon in November 2021. We have yet to receive it 6months later! Calls to Canon are unsuccessful other than - we will check and get back to you (and they don't) we call again and are told it's in back order- no idea when you will receive it. We are very upset with the service- he is a very avid photographer and has missed so many opportunities because of this. I would think at the very least they would tell us when we will get the lens or return our money with interest.my husband is passive but I believe this it totally unacceptable. They should trace the order and tell us when it will be fulfilled and give us updates without us spending so much time on hold!its been 6 months!!!

My Canon printer is the worst. I've never been so frustrated with a product. It never connects to the WiFi and never connects to the computer no matter how many times I follow directions, restart, unplug, uninstall, reinstall. If I do get it to work it works for one day and then I have to do this all over again sometimes not being able to get it to work for weeks at a time. I don't even know what makes it work. Whenever I think I got it the next time I try that it's something else. I waste hours of my time. I need this for work so I'm not only losing time but money on my business. On top of that I cannot seem to get in touch with anyone, I can't find a source to even connect me to anyone. The website kicks me off constantly and the instructions have me running in circles.

I needed assistance getting my Canon printer out of error state, so I called Canon's main # and spoke with someone who took my number and said I'd receive a call back. The call came from a Canadian area code I'm not familiar with, and figured the tech works from home, but with Canon being a large company, felt a bit uneasy with not showing a toll-free #. Meanwhile the tech went to diagnose my issue, and then needed to have a different tech. call me, which they did, from a # from the country of Brunei (thanks Google). He needed to have access to my computer to diagnose, found that my printer drivers were out of date and he needed to reinstall them as well as MS Driver Utility. This all sounded fine, until he said that it would take about 90 mins., and there would be a charge for the driver update. When I questioned why there would be a charge, and why it'd take for long, he must have hung up. I immediately X'ed out of the remote app., and called GeekSquad, who diagnosed, and got me what I needed in under 15 mins. Ihave no idea if this was truly a scam or not, but it was very odd, and I'm still wondering if something malicious was installed on my computer.

Bad service for canan printer no service is ofter 7 days

I purchase a Canon printer less than year ago from a third party as they say. Canon refused to warranty my printer. I have spoken to over 5 reps and a supervisor and all they say is I am sorry. Can replace your printer. I will never buy another Canon printer or product. Now they want you to go on their website to make sure you are buying from a Canon retailer. Who goes on the website check that out? I don't think many people do. Now I out $400 on a printer that don't work . Canon is horrible customer service leaving customers waiting for over a month on an answer. I will never support Canon again.

Purchased a Canon ts3420 because I needed a basic printer. I received an error code c000022 got on phone with support they told me my ip address has hackers and needed to pay $90 for them to fix my ip address. I knew my computer was not the best but had my tech look over everything it was not my ip address at all and my computer was to blame a simple fix for free and it worked. Not impressed with the lie and push to purchase something. Canon is a good product but they need to do better much better on the customer service end

My printer had a b200 error and I brought it to a canon authorized service centre. They told me that they would provide a quote for repair for $35.00 which would be applied to the repair if I elected to have it done.I gave them the go ahead to do the diagnosis and paid the $35.However after they did the diagnosis they advised me the the printhead was damaged and needed to be replaced but they are no longer available.Out of interest I asked what had been done to come the conclusion that the print head was not repairable. The tech said they didn't do anything. The B200 error means that the print head needs to be replaced. Why did they charge me $35 if they already knew that a B200 error was not repairable. This is not acceptable ... they charged for a diagnosis when I told them I was getting a B200 error.

The automated voice system is absolutely terrible. Repeats the same questions over and over. Does not properly pickup what you are saying and then never puts you through to an actual person. No way of contacting customer support. This the worst automated system I have ever come across.

Customer service is complete trash can't even leave reach a live person the automated system does not allow you to do anything unfortunate when you buy a brand new printer and can't even get it to work after days of trying to install and issues with the install unable to contact the representative at this point it will be getting returned to the store and I will be getting my money back he can keep the crappy printer.

This is the VERY WORST SUPPORT SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!! I have a Canon account. After a couple humans talked to me, I got a recording saying that I don't have one!! My product may not be registered, but when I went to register it at the email address they gave me, it was completely unhelpful as well. Horrible!

I purchased this type of printer because my daughter just purchased a Canon printer with the ink bottles and was very happy with her purchase. So I purchased a Canon similar to her printer, but this printer will not print from wireless as advertised. This model printer will not scan and it takes prompting printer several times to get this printer to printer.

I ordered a MF644 printer directly from Canon - figured it would be more timely than a third party. WRONG! After they charged me 749.00 for printer and ink - they send me 300 worth of ink with no printer and offer no time frame for their backordered printer. I asked what they could do - the response was nothing but I could pay to send the ink back and they would refund when they receive in 10 to 20 days - it shouldn't cost a consumer money and time to do business with a company. DON't buy Canon.

The Canon Pixima TR 150 portable printer is $400.00 CDN . It does not deliver as expected, especially at that price point. On plain printing paper be prepared to see dull greys instead of black and washed out colours with little saturation. Same with premium quality paper. Same after running the auto print head cleaning function and the print head alignment function. This is after a few uses. I have had this printer for two months. In speaking to a Canon customer service Tech guy I was told that regardless of the clearly stated description on the package that advertised the fact that this printer is compatible with Apple IOS devices that is the expected quality of printing using Apple devices. I went through almost all of my cartridge ink trying to print on different settings to discover that on plain printing paper the only setting that delivers true Blacks and Saturated Colours is the Photo II setting on plain paper. All very well and good except that on the Photo II setting to get the Printing quality you paid for you will find yourself running out of ink Quickly. Good for Canon Cartridge Sales.

After 3 hr of trying to set up a printer I just returned it to walmart. Why so complicated? How about 1 wire and 1 button. No, just follow these 23 simple steps. Besides the instructions that came with the unit their are 2 other slightly different sets of instructions on the web. 2 hrs in I found a password that you supply! I have been without a printer for many years and will continue. You're now on my list. BTW don't bother with the phony, "sorry to hear...". Can I get my 3 hours back? If you made it simpiler you could b checking out my photos and other docs.right now, sorry!

I'm very knowledgeable in the field of computer science. I have spent 20 years as a Web Programmer. I recently purchased a Canon MF236n laser printer. I attempted to install the required printer driver for my HP laptop running Windows 10 Home edition and the printer refuses to communicate with the PC. I don't think that this is a case of "operator error" Cannon seriously screwed up the driver download and install process. Installing a printer driver is a simple and easy thing, I've done it thousands of times. Customer service has been unhelpful. Really? I'm giving the MF236n and Canon customer service a one star rating.

As a business we use a copy machine alot. The people at Cannon could care less about customer service after they stick you with a machine. We have 3 of the Cannon machines and we used to get good service and support but in the last several years it has taken a 90 degree turn and I can tell you it will be a cold day in you know what before we ever buy another Cannon product.

I have called 6 times trying to get them to help me with my camera, and they won't answer and hang up on me!! I need something from it today.
