Your renewed my contract and took the renewal fee 2 (two) months before the renewal and I have asked the County Court to take up the case and will send it to your UK registered office. Just adds more for your company to pay.

Several Emails and conversations with customer support but they didn't know their stuff

Totally Crap Company. Downloaded Avg And It Damaged My Laptop. I Cancelled The Subscription And Demanded A Refund. They Keep Sending Stupid Emails Sayng They Have Refunded Me But Checking With The Bank They Have Not Taken A Payment So How Can They Say They Have Refunded? Customer Service Is Rude And Offensive And No Help At Al. Am Currently Speaking With My Bank To Stop The Pending Payment And Also Consulting With Poice Acton Fraud To Take Things Further. Site Is Scam. Causes Damage. Does Not Do What It Says. Do Not Use It Is Useless

Every company should offer customer support re billings and refunds with human beings. AVG does not and Customer Care should have the ability to assist customers on the phone.

your avg is killing my computer. it won't let me uninstall it. it keeps me from accessing the internet. it is more like a virus than any virus i ever had. i'm not using proper punctuation because i've spent HOURS trying to install Mcafee, but your damn avg keeps blocking everything but the vault in fort knox.pleasaeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tell me how to get rid of your horrible program, and there is no way i will upgrade.

I have never ever ever experienced such incompetence and duckshoving - My issue has gone on for over 10 weeks - I keep getting referred to different people-so far 5 different employees !! no one returns my emails or calls - I mistakenly used and paid for the AVG anti virus! It was useless and I incurred a virus that cost me over $200 to have removed

H O R R I B L E communication ergo customer service: called customer service using number on web site: referred to another number=8007124698630 nothing but advertisements for different companies. They have you push pound icon to avoid commercial but it takes you to a different commercial. After 7 commercials I used their business phone. Same thing there. Will not be doing business with this company again

AVG is the worse company. The are employ this company with rude, crude, and dishonest people. Not a shred of integrity. When you ask questions that are complicated or something they can't answer you suddenly hear a Mr Dial Tone in the form of quiet clicks.

first avg kept pestering me, which interrupted work, for a major purchase, i refuse to be bullied into buying anything. now their sw is putting popovers out to bully me into buying their upgrade and it interfered with my work. at a point when an AV is pestering and disrupting work foir its users to sell them something the AV has become viral itself and i intent to uninstall

I have tried repeatedly to speak to someone about my AVG account. Money has been taken from my bank account and I need it returned as I have cancelled by AVG virus checker. The account was not due to be renewed until 21/6/16 and the money has already been taken.
I am very very disappointed with the difficulty of trying to speak to someone about this. Every phone number on your site either is not available please try later or is a wrong number.

Customer service is friendly, keeps you on the phone forever with their cheery voices, and tries to break you down to purchase technical support or another product, rather than helping you with the current problem with the product you have already purchased from AVG Not So Free. Buyers should be beware. Better to install a product through your local computer guy.

Long Term Anti Virus Customer Always Has Trouble Reaching Avg For Tech Help When I Actually Buy Anything. . This Morning I Stupidly Forgot How Unresponsive The Company Is And Bought Avg Tune Up--which I Need--i Then Got An Email Telling Me To Put In Some Code---a Code A Never Received--in Order To Proceed To Activation.(ie Step One) . Then It Said Contact The Avg Store To Buy A Code---eh? Wot? I Just Bought The Tune Up And Now Have To Buy A Code? I Then Clicked Onthe Avg Store To See What Was What---and Guess What? I Got Noting!! I Have Sent Endless Emails--but No Reply All Day---this Company Stinks At Customer Relations---time To Change Vendors For My Anti Virus And Tune Up Downloads....

No Wonder Its Rep Has Slid Slid Slid...

All Very Annoying---and Ahuge Waste Of Time... If I Dont Hear Froma Real Person In 24 Hrs I Will Cancel The Payment ................and .

AVG is the very worst company to deal with!!! I used them for one year and when I upgraded to the new version it totally messed up my computer. The cost of it was $76.00 When I called for helped, they said I needed help from Microsoft which really upset me. So I called Microsoft and had to pay them $100 to look at what was going on and correct it. Microsoft and AVG had 2 different stories as to what happened. Microsoft said it was AVG while AVG said it was Microsoft. So AVG didn't want to refund me the money since I decided I wasn't going to use them. I started using another company that was highly recommended. If something messes up, I just call them and they fix it. Last week, AVG charged my checking for another year's subcription even though I cancelled it back in February. I called them for a refund and was told in order to get my money back, $39.99, I would have to pay a one time charge of $50.00 to pay for someone to take my credit card information out of their system. In essence, I was still going to still pay them a balance of $10.01 so they wouldn't charge me anymore. Is this INSANE or what. Well....my bank is disputing the charge and I realized the payments are going through Paypal so I cancelled it there!!! The customer service reps are horrible and rude!! They absolutely do not bend, understand or help you. I will never do business with them again. I got so upset everytime I had to talk to them because they were literally dollar gauging me every step of the way!! I told the last one what he could do with his AVG and hung up on him. What jerks.

First I have talked on the phone 5 times and 3 letters. I'm being harassed by having to talk about the same issue over and over. Syed in customer support is a sadist who continually wants to spin this problem in his direction to avoid a refund. I have a crushing migraine as I write this. I got visibly upset on the phone. This man is pure evil. 3 times I've talked with him since only to rehash the same story to no end.Each time it's to retool his response to shore up an answer when the company receives these complaints. I'm fed up and told him today I was filling formal complaints, with you, attorney general offices and Canada wherever I must go to bring attention to the deplorable business practices of this organization that may be committing fraud and stealing. I think I only have 1 complaint about a business since the invention of computers and the internet the last 40 years. I don't do this or forums because I make every effort to resolve through problem resolution processes.My problem with AVG is quite simple.
I have been a customer of AVG for six years until last month and had been happy with there products and services. In April 2014 I purchased a renewal for AVG security and pc tuneup for 2 years until April 2016. Something happened in 2015. I received a popup that my service plan was expiring. I renewed again my subscription for another year. I did not review my service plan prior to this. If they said it was time that was good enough for me. Then I receive popups in April 2016 that my plan is expiring again. I tried twice on the phone and in letters to get customer service to please don't let the service lapse.I need full protection,we can work this misunderstanding out. There was no sense of urgency. Internet security is at the top of the most important things to protect in my life. It expired. Anyways I'm going hey wait a second. I look through my records and see that the company double billed me between cycles.. The day I extended the service plan with AVG in August 2015 I should have been told "' no, you already have paid for our service which is valid until April 2016". Now how could the situation be any simpler then this unless you don't want it to be? I'm ashamed of the yelling and my inability to get across to these people properly that,It doesn't matter who said what,who's to blame,how it happened. I no longer want to do business with this company. I did ask for a refund with the 30 day refund policy. I find it disturbing in there drop down menu for reasons for a refund they actually have a entry for double billing. Reading forums across many domains it seems suspicious that others by means of this pop up notice or solicited e-mails they are getting people to pay, keeping the money when challenged, making the customer service process a total nightmare on purpose. I can only imagine the millions they make banking money like mine until the last minute like insurance companies do,to gain the interest off the situation.

I've been an AVG customer six years until last month. I really am disappointed that their deplorable business practices became the distraction to a simple refund request to a legitimate misunderstanding. Most people don't I think ever think about where a business operates and who owns it. We go online,look for value and purchase products and services without reading the fine print.Even if you do that,You just don't think any problems will arise with your service until it does and the fine print is in bold now and in your face. There isn't enough bite in international law to satisfy consumer complaint issues satisfactorily or expediently. Foreign entities can and will exploit the vulnerabilities in the process while banking your money. Beware from where or who your doing business with. The internet,customer support, problem resolution departments,do not share the same viewpoint within there organization. I've read the post everywhere about Avg. All of you couldn't resolve your problems because of the companies rigid policies. They have a lot of complaints now. There software is mediocre. There English is a different English that interprets differently. Companies that don't care about streamlining customer complaints and resolving to a customers satisfaction are doomed and will never get it. In America,Americans expect a refund or a product exchange when not happy. PERIOD....

This is addressed to the bosses at AVG.
I am an IT Exec at a co. of about 200 employees all of whom are equipped with either a desktop PC or a Notebook. All of them installed with AVG.I was called this morning by a user. She couldn't access our web-based app to service a customer. When I got to her I realise her problem. Whenever she click on the login button the browser automatically opened an AVG site that showed reminder to renew/purchase AVG license. No matter how many times I click or reboot the PC I still have the same AVG page. This was causing an embarassment to us and the co. with the customer right in-front of you. I managed to finally solve the problem by uninstalling AVG and after some talk with the management decided to uninstall AVG from all the PCs and Notebook and look for an alternative anti-virus software.

Dear AVG, you started good. You were the darling of PC users who shunned Mcafee and Norton. But now you have become greedy and ruthless. And we are leaving you. Never again.

Avg Is A Scam Company Now. Purchased Package For $99.00 For The Ability To Use On All Three Computers. Said They Would Email Me All The Information, Never Did. Spoke To Representative In India, Then A Superivisor And The All Lied To Me Saying The Email Was On Its Way. Tell All Your Friends To Never Sign Up With This Company, The Offer No Customer Service And I Heard The Problems Started When They Sold To Owners India That Are Now Operating As A Dishonest Company Out To Take Your Money With Renewal Subscriptions That You Can Never Cancel.

they could not install the program in my computer once when i found out the program was not installed i requested a refund they got back to me after 20 days and they told me i had 30 days for a refund they never refunded the money and i still dont have their anti virus programs installed., in order to understand their custumer service rep you have be a magician because of their accent very diffucult to communicate the worst company i ever dealt with i would not recommend this company to any one

I recently tried AVG Safe Surf, which worked fine at first, but now I can't log in. Changed passwords...no effect. Their chat support is either a robot or English illiterate and extremely slow. Essentially, I like some of the AVG products, but their godawful support makes them a very, very poor choice. Also, they are nearly impossible to deal with getting refunds...slow, clumsy, inaccurate...a very poorly run company by most standards. They just don't give a crap about customers.

After cancelling my subscription with AVG, AVG continues to bill my credit card fraudulently. AVG refuses to cancel my subscription.

I cancelled AVG after their virus protection failed and my computer got infected. I am starting to hear that people who have free AVG are all getting infected. This is the third year after which I have cancelled that they have billed me. I believe AVG will never stop billing me no matter how many times I call them and get the billing removed for that year.

WARNING: AVG will NOT cancel your account and their virus protection does not work.
