my son and I just purchased our first ball python at petsmart and our experience was nothing but positive. Our salesperson was very friendly and knowledgeable. Her name was Lauren and she needs to be bragged on. Thankyou

I was vacationing in Las Vegas and while driving I noticed a Petsmart store.I decided to stop in and look around.I wandered to the section for cats. I was approached by a Petsmart employee who asked if I needed assistance. I began talking about my cat and how he is overweight. The employee gave me a 20 minute run down on cat food and suggested I use Blue Buffalo.She showed me the ingredients and explained the benefits of the product.Her name was Sue Winter. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I now shop at my local Petsmart in Los Angeles-canoga park. Ms Winter suggest the weight control and explained how I should introduce the new food gradually to avoid digestive irritation.She explained that the average brand has corn as a primary ingredient and is not healthy for pets. The way she explained everything in detail combined with her mannerisms, friendliness and professionalism I could easily mistake her for a Blue Buffalo rep or veterinary assistant. I buy my cats needs at the petsmart at Eastman parkway in Gresham oregon. You will often see the day manager checking out customers and the care is excellent. This manager is honest, caring and does his job with the upmost pride for this company. The staff are very helpful and I appreciate the low prices... Thanks petsmart staff. You are very appreciated.. :)

NO OLD DOGS ALLOWED

I loved my PETSMART Doggie Day Camp until June 13. To be fair the employees are great, the manager is great, and the district manager is approachable.

I have been taking my dog to Doggie Day Camp for over two years. My dog is an older dog and we started taking our dog based off our vets recommendations for her social skills and overall happiness. However, now that my dog is getting older they don't want customers to see her and asked me not to bring her anymore. They stated she was not having a good time and just sitting in the corner and watching the other dogs, although we have spoken to them several times saying she enjoys that for she is an older dog and enjoys the stimulation, they were more worried what people think vice the happiness of my dog.

The dogs are behind a glass wall and are always playing and happy however, my older dog does not fit the mold and they say they are worried about her. I stated to the manager my dog received a clean bill of health and the vet recommended keeping her active I was still asked not to bring her in.

I was so disappointed, the years of customer partronage and now that my dog is getting up in age they decide she does not meet what they want, even after they recommended I ask the vet and I told them the vet they recommended my dog continue her visits that will make her stay active.

I asked the manager if he or the district manager was a vet and he just looked at me and could not say a word.

I called up corporate headquarters and awaiting a response. Old dogs are living much longer than ever before.

I was sad to be such a loyal customer and making recommendations to my friends however, based on their being concerned what people might think my dog is being asked not to come back.

I've always enjoyed the store however, they want your dog to be perfect or should I say look perfect!
Shame on the PETSMART!

I have been a customer for nearly 20 years,I have adopted 3 cats from your store, I have used the vet service for 2 cats when you had one, I have been happy with your prices of cat food, wet and dry food, and at this time I have an adopted male cat who has a sensitive stomach.Your store haws always provided and receommended special foods for any of my animals. I have a 14 yr old adopted male who has a sensitive stomach.Science Diet is too rich, BLUE was recommended and he is doing fine with it. He is not spitting up each time he eats as he has in the past.
Wet food is now the problem, I have found MEOW MIX TO BE THE BEST WITH THE BLUE DRY FOOD.
I STOPPED AT THE STORE IN PALM DESERT, YESTERDAY AND I GO ABOUT EVERY 4 OR 5 DAYS.
I PAID 50 CENTS FOR FOOD 5 DAYS AGO AND WHEN I WENT TO BUY MEOW MIX THE PRICE HAS GONE FROM 50 CENTS TO 63 CENTS OVER NIGHT.
I COMPLAINED TO THE MANAGER, AND CLERKS AND THEY SUGGESTED I WRITE TO YOU.
I AM A SENIOR IN MY 80'S, WIDOWED RETIRED AND LIVING ON SOCIAL SECURITY. I AM NOT ABLE TO PAY 63 CENTS A CAN FOR CASEY'S FOOD.I ONLY EAT 1 MEAL A DAY MYSELF BECAUSE OF THE COSTS OF FOOD AND NOW IT HAS BECOME IMPOSSIBLE TO BUY THE ONLY FOOD THIS 14 YR OLD MALE CAN EAT WITHOUT SPITTING IT UP. HOW CAN YOU JUMP FROM 50 TO 63 CENTS WITHIN A FEW DAYS. NO WONDER ANIMALS ARE BEING THROWN AWAY, GIVEN AWAY AND DUMPED AT YOUR FRONT DOOR. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, YOU FEED THEM FIRST, I GUESS, BUT TO NOT BE ABLE TO BUY FOOD FOR A PET I HAVE HAD FOR 12 YEARS, IS SAD. I WILL NOT GO INTO YOUR STORE AGAIN, AFTER 20 YEARS, AND ALL OF THE PETS I HAVE BROUGHT HOME FOR $45. NOW THEY ARE $95 AND $125. I GUESS WHEN CASEY GOES, I WILL NOT HAVE A PET BECAUSE I CAN NOT PAY FOR THE FOOD ANY LONGER. WHETHER YOU KNOW IT OR NOT, BEING A PROVIDER FOR ANIMALS, PRICES ON OUR PET FOOD SHOULD NOT GO SKY HIGH FOR THEIR OWNERS TO HAVE TO DO WITHOUT FOOD TO FEED THEM. I TOLD THE MANAGER AND THE SALES PERSON WHO WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE, THAT I WOULD NOT RETURN FOR CAT FOOD AGAIN. YOU HAVE BECOME LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER STORES AND EVENTUALLY YOU WILL HAVE TO CLOSE HAT BEAUTIFUL STORE OR LOWER YOUR PRICES, IT IS NOT FAIR THE EMPLOYEE;S HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS, BUT FOR A LONG TIME CUSTOMER, I AM GONE. I TOLD THEM, WHEN CASEY GOES I WILL NOT HAVE ANOTHER PET UNLESS I FIND ONE OUT ON THE STREET ABANDONED, FOR THAT REASON I WOULD BRING IT HOME, BUT TO PAY 95. AND 125. CAN'T DO IT. CAN'T AFFORD 63 CENTS FOR MEOW MIX IS OUT RAGEOUS.
YOUR EMPLOYEE AT THAT STORE ARE WONDERFUL POLITE, KNOWLEDGABLE AND HELPFUL. THE MANAGEMENT IS ALSO VERY PLEASANT AND WILLING TO ACCOMODATE. THEY SUGGESTED I GET CASEY KITTEN FOOD FOR HIS SENSTIVE STOMACH. I WILL THINK ABOUT IT. IT IS A SMALLER CAN FOR .49 CENTS. THEY WERE TRYING TO APPEASE ME WITH MY DILEMNA AND SUGGESTED I WRITE TO YOU. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL UNDERSTAND, AND IF IT IS NOT SELLING YOU WILL KNOW WHY.EVEN THE FAVORITE ONES CASEY LIKES YOU DID NOT HAVE IT. THOSE PATE ARE NOT AS TASTY AS THE ONES WITH GRAVY. TOO BAD, TO END A RELATIONSHIP i THOUGHT WAS GOOD FOR ME AND MY PETS. I WILOL HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANIMAL SAMARTIANS.

I have always had a problem with the grooming manager in Albuquerque the Academy and Wyoming store. She is always rude to me. I tried to make an appointment with the groomer I have always and she refused me the appointment. I have called several people that I sent to this grooming dept. to ask them not to back there. Funny thing she has been rude to them too. I do not like being discriminated against.

PetSmart #1456 is a wonderful, customer friendly store. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed directions to supplies or had any questions that they could answer for me. The prices are reasonable too. I purchased two parakeets from this store and the aviary knowledge that the manager and associate shared was outstanding. The care that they showed towards the animals was amazing. I'll go back to this store for all my pet products. This is now my pet-supply store. My experience was superior!

Hello my name is Julie Manderewicz and work as a manager for a reputable breeding kennel for feild trialing dogs and gun dogs in Pa. I recently found myself in a situation where I ran out of airline approved crates for my puppies to be shipped in. the stores in which I used to buy them in no longer carried the size I needed 20"tall and 24"long. I went to the Petsmart in Wyommissing Pa. and found that you carried the right size but only had 2 available and I needed 4. I bought the 2 and needed the other 2 by the middle of the week, I spoke with the store manager Josh Burkholder and explained my desperate situation. This young man called the Lancaster store which is where he apparently lives and on his OWN TIME, picked up the 2 other crates I needed and had them available by Monday evening after I got off work. Now that being said, I was a manager at Superpetz for 5 yrs. and am familiar with the retail buisness and that my friends is what you call CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!thank you Josh you are my go to guy!!! and will not only go there for my crates but will check out products for my own dogs as well.Many thanks Julie Manderewicz

Had a great experience at Petsmart #1046 in Conroe, TX. Bought one of those cat trees, and it was quite heavy. I really appreciated Matt, the manager, carrying the tree out of me and working so hard to get it into my small compact car. Thanks, Matt, for your excellent offer of help.

I have been having an EXTREMLEY hard time taking care of my beta fish named MOE. for months I could not figure out why my tank got so cloudy after two days, {I never owned a fish befour] Anyway I went to the PetSmart store #2020 and spoke to Jordan, not only was I extremly well taken taken care of Jordan fixed my tank problem. I thing he should receive some reconition for his great service. Used the Petsmart Hotel in Henderson NV at Warm Springs and Stephanie. WOW! What a great experience. Caring staff, GR8 Mgmt., Happy dogs. How good can it get????

I was impressed this month with the Banfield pet hospital in the Monument PetSmart. I found a stray dog and was hoping for a cursory vetrinary exam without cost so that I could find her a home. No other Vet in the Monument area would help. The Vet at the Monument PetSmart checked her out for me (no lab tests etc) but was able to tell me that she did have some substantial health issues. I will now be taking my dogs to this vet!

We've been taking dog training classes at Petsmart for the past three weeks. Our dog's behavior has definitely improved. The classes are very helpful. The staff at the store are always very friendly.

Hello Petsmart managers. I don't know where to post positive comments for grooming, but I had a wonderful experience today with a California Petsmart groomer. Me and my family were on vacation in Thousand Oaks, California but live in Colorado Springs. To make a long story short, we took our dogs to the beach today and of course they got filthy! I didn't think the hotel would appreciate sand in the shower.... So, we packed up their shot records and took them to the Petsmart Groomer. Sadly my golden retriever, Caramel, has really bad hip dysplasia. So unfortunately, after a day frolicking at the beach, she was sore and uncomfortable. The groomer, a lady named Oralia, was super thoughtful and sweet to Caramel. She was overly kind and made every concession so tha my dog would be comfortable and pain free as she got groomed and clean. When we came to pick up our dogs, Oralia had her face burried in my papillon's fur loving on him. I should mention that Radar, our papillon, is not usually good with strangers, but he was quite comfortable with her. I could tell Oralia is a very special lady who truly loves grooming dogs. I wish she lived in Colorado Springs. If she did, we'd take our dogs to her every single time! She treated our babies like they were her babies. I hope Petsmart realizes what a valuable asset they have in an employee like her.

My name is Tom Schilte. I had some negative concerns about Petsmarts this week. However I want to change my comment. On Friday 12/11 I was shopping at Petsmarts with my dauchshund Peppie. I had a very bad diabetic attack in the store. I want to say your staff Brian, Sue, Linda, Michele and Denise came to my aid. Their was other employees too who helped. I can't remember their names. However 911 was called I had the best medical attention from the paramedics and the store. Michele and Sue took very good care of my dog. After the medics came they gave me isulin and IV I was much better. Your staff called my family to pick me up. I must say you have a good staff and I'm very happy to do my shopping at this store. I called today to say thankyou to Brian the store manager. This store has a special place in my heart and I always will remember that as long as I live. Thanks again Tom Schilte

I have been visiting the 5950 Rodeo Drive pet smart in Mississauga on a regular basis to have my dog groomed. At first, I solely went to have my dog "Ribbons" well groomed once. We were lucky enough to have Angela available that day. She is so amazing with my dog and makes me feel so comfortable leaving my dog with her that we would never take Ribbons anywhere else. We would not even have anyone else groom her. What was a 1 time thing has turned into a monthly grooming. Angela has made the grooming experience a great one for me. I love that I know that Ribbons will be well taken care of each and every time. I felt that Petsmart needed to know (if they didn't already) what a great employee they have.
