Yesterday June 7, 2019 I went to Neiman in Chevy Chase DC for assistance. I purchased a Cinq a Sept evening blouse but unfortunately they forgot to removed the sensor. I did not know outlet store for Neiman still uses the old fashion sensor that would need a machine to take it off. The attitude that I received from a SA was absurd after explaining my situation. He was arrogant and so I went to customer service and the woman acted the same way and told me Neiman Marcus is not affiliated with the Neiman Marcus outlet. We don't take return from outlet store and I said to her I am not returning the item! After realizing I am dealing with ignorant employee I just left and very dissapointed with the attitude. I am so glad I closed my Neiman Marcus card back in 2017. I was a very loyal customer since I started my first job in my banking career in 1972. I have great sales associate that assisted me when I shop at Neiman Marcus here in Chevy Chase/Tysons Corner. After this incident yesterday I will never shop again at this store.

at 6:20 p.m. on 6/6/19 a rude - just-about non-speaking English witch hung up on me 5 times while I was trying to find out how to do a return.

Neiman Marcus hires people who dont speak English and impose them on the customers.

I resent this rude young woman was despicable.

NEIMAN MARCUS DRACONIAN RETURN POLICY -BUYER BEWARE!

Mothers of the bride and groom beware - Neiman Marcus return policy is draconian and punitive. After 30 days - no refunds/exchanges/store credits- no exceptions.

I purchased a MOB dress several weeks after NM changed its return policy from 60 to 30 days after purchase. The SA made no mention of the policy change and there were no placards / signs posted to alert customers of the recent policy change. When I attempted to return the never worn, tags attached dress a mere 45 days later, I was simply told "sorry, no exceptions."

As most MOBs know, the dress hunt can be a long arduous and expensive process and these draconian policies will do nothing to enhance customer satisfaction.

I will NEVER shop at Neiman Marcus again and vow to go on a social media campaign to alert other unsuspecting shoppers of its unfair and unreasonable return policy.

No other major high-end retailer has such a limited return policy.

I was happy ordering from NM because they had a simple straight forward return policy. With this new plan I will no longer be ordering from NM. This is too cumbersome and cannot be done without going to a new website and downloading extra stuff from the internet.

Your return policy is ridiculous. Why cant you enclose in the package a return form with all necessary information required. I will think twice before ordering from your company again.

Had intended to place an online order but first checked return policy. After reading return policy reviews, there is no way I will chance ordering from Newman Marcus.

Your on-line return policy is awful. There some customers such as myself who do not have access to a computer to print out a return label. This means we must call a customer service rep and wait for them to mail us a return USPS label. This is ridiculous-why can't you enclose a return label with the merchandise to begin with and help to make this easier. Nordstrom does this policy. Please reconsider

The online return process is pushing me to Nordstrom. I want prepaid label in the box AND 15 days for a return? I'm lucky to be home 15 days in a month.

I just purchased the Nuface Fix device from Neiman Marcus online. I noticed there was a crack on the plastic round the metal conductor. That is a serious concern as this is the most important part of the device. So, I went to neiman palo alto today try to return the item due to its defective unit. First, I went to the third floor customer service to return the unit. They refused to take back the item because this consider as beauty product. The new policy is that if you purchased the beauty product, then it can only be returned at beauty counter. Honestly, I can hardly keep it up with Neiman' return policy these days. They have changed so much over the last 2 years. Anyway, I went down to the beauty counter on the first floor. I found someone who is available to help me. I told her that this is a beauty item therefore I'm returning it here. She said yes. Then, she saw the package was open and immediately she told me it's not refundable. Well, I understand that open box is not refundable. I explained that the item was defective. But, she went on said that i can take this back but you will not get your money back. Also because the was purchased online. Omg! I was already surprised by the fact "you buy and You owned" policy. In addition to that, I can't return the item even it is defective. Well, I will "eat" this purchase this time because there is no point to auge. I don't know how much longer this ridiculous return policy will last. Perhaps, this is a new trick to generate more sales revenue for Neiman now. Whatever that is, I'll not stand for it. I told the beauty counter lady that this will be the last time I buy any beauty product from Neiman and walked away.

This new return system is the worst idea ever.Send a label with each purchase.. If not used it doesn't cost you anything and you are losing customers this way!

In the last 2 months, I have had abysmal order and return service from NM. In November they sent me a garment that had dried food on the left sleeve and piling on the front of a obviously already used cashmere sweater. Then, when I returned an ordered item b/c it didn't fit in Dec. and asked for my money to be returned to my credit card, NM sent me a gift certificate for the returned item, to be used ONLY in their stores. This is not nor has been NM's return policy, and I was never advised otherwise. I called NM, and they said they would send my request for my return's reimbursement to the same credit card on which I purchased the sweater...to their Marketing Department and they would respond to me by e-mail on a first come first serve basis. What is going on with NM??

I Went To Purchase Some Dior Product And They Were Out Of Stock.. A Very Pleasant Sales Lady Who Worked For Marc Jacobs Had Me Sit In Her Chair And Showed Me Some Similar Products And Applies Them Over My Already Made Up Dior Face And The Results Were Quite Nice... I Purchased Approx 200.00 0f Product !! However I Could Never Duplicate The Product At Home As It Was Done Over My Dior...the Mascara Was Not As Good As Dior And The Eye Shadows Did Not Cover Alone Like It Appeared While Placed Over My Dior !!!! I Was Shocked To Find That A Store Such As This Had This Type Of Return Policy... I Used The Product 2x Only And Was Told I Should Have Read The Return Policy Prior To Using The Product..really ???? I Will Never Purchase Any Product From This Store Again !! And It Was Less Than 10days Later That I Tried To Return It ....this Is A Retail Store I Would Love To See Go Out Of Business !!!

Terrible return policy. my items came with just a slip with what was shipped. NO return information included. Would never purchase online from NeimanMarcus again. Now I have to dodge the crowds to return items that don't fit.

Returns used to be easy, but your policy has changed! The return labels are needed! I will not be ordering from catalog again!
And there is no NM Store anywhere close.

What happened to your return postage slips that used to be included with each purchase ? Also, the Reason for Return slip is missing . This is a hardship for me and others.

I dont know why you changed your return policy. Go back to including return sticker. Makes me not want to buy from you. I can only shop online as there is no store within 100s of miles from me.sometimes items dont work.

I see by the range of remarks, that you are not paying attention to what your customers are saying. I too feel that having to go to the computer to read endless paragraphs on what I have to do to return merchandise is beyond comprehension. I am going to make my own label, and
am calling the catalogue company to terminate receiving them at all.
If you don't realize that there are tons of people who are not that tech savvy, who is
doing your market research? I can buy elsewhere where all consideration is given to the possible situation of diverse customers.

I am not sure that I understand your return policy. If I can only return to store then I deffinately do not like that. I order two blouses and they are two small, I thought I would order them larger but it this is the return polcy, I just want to return them and credit my credit card with the prices.

Send a return label. This is miserable and I may just stop catalog buying or Neiman Marcus buying
