I just checked at Comfort inn in Elkridge Maryland for the second time within a month. My first visit was pleasant without incident. This time I was told that have to pay a deposit of $150. I was not charged previously . I was told that was the policy
For about a year. I don't smoke and Im was not here to party. I seventy year old woman with mobility issues. I was told by the desk clerk that after the check out my room would be checked and refund wood be given. Is this a homeless hotel or someplace I should not be safe. I have traveled with your brand for years, but no more. I checked with other reservations;to see if this is their policy . Sleep inn said it is not . Doing this with customers has cheapen you brand. After staying twice I won't be back. Comfort inn was a main stray for me when I traveled, with my children, my grandchildren and me as a retiree. You have lost me and I believe your brand will suffer

I don't think that being a Diamond member gets you a better rate or discount, just means you have a lot of points . The hotels jack up the rates as they see fit , I stay at hotels for work 24 days out of the month & can't catch a break & the only thing I hear from Corporate is that the hotel owners can do what they want, so what in the hell is Corporate for?

I recently sent a message to your manager JAY PATEL at the Six Flags GURNEE Illinois Comfort Inn location regarding my stay and nothing has been done or response sent. I fell on your property and NOW am out on disability from the fall. I have HEARD no response and I am in the process of retaining a lawyer because I have been out of work now for almost 3 weeks, and going through physical therapy and doctors appointments from the back injury. This is extremely frustrating and I would appreciate some type of response for this issue! Thank you!

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Watertown NY for a night with our daughter. We specifically chose this hotel for the pool as our 3 year old was so excited to swim. We checked in and went to dinner. When we came back we got our suites on and my husband went downstairs to see how crowded the pool was. It was posted on the door that the pool was closed. He went to the front desk and sure enough the pool was broken. It would have been nice to have been notified of this at check in. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Next time we will probably choose a different Hotel even though we have stayed at this one several times.

I recently stayed at the comfort inn in woodland,CA. We ran out toilet paper, I went to front desk to ask for an extra roll. I was then informed that they didn't have no toilet paper. They were waiting on supplies. My wufe and daughter had to used napkins. On the second day there still wasn't no toilet paper available, we had to go to the Walmart down the street to purchase toilet paper. That's unacceptable we decided to leave on day three.

Stayed 2 nights at Comfort inn at Sullivan Mo. told man answering phone that my husband is disabled. Comfort inn was best hotel in Sullivan a few years ago. Rm 103 has hole in the wall in the bathroom. Floor was black, hadn't been mopped forever. My husband couldn't get in the tub to shower. Bed was way too high for him to get in it. He slept in the chair for 2 nights. Coffee pot didn't work. Room smelled musty. I had one night charged to my checking account and the other to a credit card. But, he put both nights on my checking accoint cause ing me a $35.00 overdraft fee of 36.00@

On 9/5/23 in Bishop CA I rented a room for one night. The room was infested with thousands of ants as I discovered when I started drinking my coke swallowing several hundreds and others all over my face. The next day the check in person who didn't bother to inform me in advance of my roommates didn't seem real concerned when I informed her of the situation blaming it on me for setting a coke on furniture. The ants were everywhere except the bed as far as I knew. I had to throw away food I had bought in the room. Next time I'll go camping or to some cheap dive. Needless to say I avoided the free breakfast.

We have been members of Choice Hotels rewards for about 10 years. Husband stayed at Terre Haute Quality Inn on the night of 8/3/2023. He said the phone didn't work, and the bathtub faucet was cheaply rigged, it was run down all around. He only stayed because it was late. We want you to know that your brand is being represented by such neglected properties. I have a photo of the bathtub faucet, but there is nowhere here I can post it.

Stayed at the comfort inn suites in Chicopee / springfield Massachusetts front staff was real nice . The room was a different story room curtains had stains and side of bed had dried body fluids (really) kind of gross. Shower base also was stained. Main entrance of hotel was nice but as you left the area the hotel started to go down hill including hallways and room . Spent money hoping to stay at a class hotel and felt like I stayed in an hourly room . Will never return to this hotel will try others in future trips very disappointed

Booked a room for 3 nights at your hotel in Hannibal on Market st. Came in at 1am on 23rd. Went to 3rd floor came off elevator heavy cigarette smell, went to room same, was given another room on opposite end of 3rd floor not as bad but still cigarette smell. Have allergy to residual of cig smoke, so eyes burning, nose plugged tried to sleep. Was given another room on 2nd floor better. When leaving 3rd floor noticed worker had her child with her while cleaning. Honestly believe that employees are living on 3rd floor. Front desk was empty the majority of the time. They were outside smoking and chatting. I watched one girl run from the patio area outside to hotel when she saw a car pull up. Totally no supervision at your hotel. If there had been another hotel in this area that had openings we would have left. Will never stay here again and will really have to think about staying at your hotel at all. Not what we expected. Really think someone needs to check out this hotel site.

On April 29 I made a reservation for two nights at Lawrence,KS Comfort Inn. Since it was graduation weekend at Kansas University in Lawrence the price was elevated to $695.00 When I tried to cancel on May 1 I was told by general manager Mehul that I would have to pay the whole price, although the confirmation I received said I could cancel any time. (Two small lines above that statement said free cancellation was only until April 11 which I assumed meant there might be a charge but certainly not the whole price.) Finally after several phone calls (he hung up on me once) Mehul said if he could rent the room he wouldn't charge me. I was relieved because a check the week before graduation showed the other motels in town were full. However, a week later Mehul informed me I would have to pay the whole price which I found very odd since the town had been packed. However, being 500 miles away all I could do was pay, feeling I was writing the check in blood. News travels fast in Lawrence and the staffers at KU who find housing for celebrities who come to speak and perform (which, in the past few years have included everybody from Bill Clinton to the entire Broadway last of West Side Story to the Beach Boys, ) do not think highly of the Comfort Inn.

We experienced rude front desk help and dirty conditions and decided to not stay at that time.

We stayed in Laurinburg NC, we came in from out of state for a funeral. The first appearance is good. The receptionist that night was very professional and knowledgeable and courteous. She found our reservation and booked our rooms. We had to switch rooms because the fan in the bathroom would not shut down, that was no problem. She was very helpful with that as well. The next thing was that our used towels were removed but not replaced. Including the bath mat. Which we had to get back ourselves. Ok, not too much of a big deal. We did not have time to worry about things, we are grieving and just want to be able to be able to concentrate on what we came for. The next thing though is NOT ok, I was in the bathroom, a BED BUG Is walking across the floor. I immediately try to inform management, the receptionist that has been there for the past day is not very motivated and barely nods her head while sitting down when we walked in prior times. We are informed that the manager was too busy to talk to us. I explained the situation to the clerk, she passed it on to the manager who advised her what to do, seemingly not to busy to listen to her. They said they would send the janitor , which I declined because we were getting dressed. As we came down to reception, I showed the bed bug to the staff. I have not seen a less surprised reaction than that in a loooong time. The first thing the manager, now available because I've seen her sitting unoccupied in her office , said. We will make an adjustment. I told her it was not about the money, but about the fact that I got the cold shoulder treatment after trying to help her out about letting her know the hotel has a bug issue. Bed bugs is not an easy thing to deal with, I'm not willing to have a bed bug issue because a hotel which we paid for is unable under this management to rid the problem. Now we can not take our luggage into own houses without drastic measures, making sure we do not get infested.

Reservations were given for us to stay at a comfort inn and we couldn't go swimming because the pool was down and dirty .We were totally disgusted the brick around the pool we deserve a better place and a better comfort inn in Jacksonville a free night or two. We were out of state and we couldn't even for a swim because the pool and the surroundings were not clean. Cuts in the concrete around the pool where she could have cut her feet.

Arrived at the complimentary breakfast- to find a TIP JAR on the counter.

Excuse me but exactly what service is being provided here that warrants a tip ??

I prepared my own food
I served myself
I cleaned up after myself

All as expected

So what makes this company think I should tip anyone??

Either pay your people better or provide a service that actually warrants the POSSIBILITY of your staff EARNING a tip for service OVER AND ABOVE WHAT IS EXPECTED.

It's not my job to pay them for just "doing their job"

On March 30,2023 my husband and I were returning home from the University of Iowa Eye Institute. We arrived in Grand Island Nebraska around 10 P.M. I am blind and travel with a dog guide from Guide Dogs of America. We were turned away from the Comfort Inn because the man at the desk said the pet room was occupied. We told him that this dog is not a pet and by law we can not be turned down service in this public place. He told us to go across the street and try there. I was angry and humiliated but because we were tired and due to the late hour and the fact we had another day of travel, we did not do what we should have to handle the matter. Rather than call in the police to confirm the law we left.
Being blind is made difficult by the ignorance of employees that are employed by companies like yours. It is obviously is not of any importance for you to give the training of the assessibilty law. I carry my dogs paperwork and the law with me. I am a firm supporter of companies like yours to be fined for not following the law.

We unfortunately had the worst experience at Comfort Inn hotel in Dayville, CT. They took our money and charged us when we made a reservation but had to cancel within minutes due to a medical emergency with our daughter. Refused to work with us and to give it back, etc, which means we can legally file a lawsuit against them. We legally could've had the reservation switched but due to a woman named benedent, the sales manager, who was beyond unprofessional and unreasonable, there was no getting through to her, she claimed Comfort Inn, in Dayville CT had bed bugs just to get us out of that hotel as fast as she could when we stopped by to simply try to genuinely figure this out, she also discriminated against my relationship status, due to me being gay, she was completely unprofessional, once again, hung up on me numerous times before we wanted to speak kindly to her in person, and declined to simply switch days for our reservation. We unfortunately are forced to leave a negative review due to being discriminated against and declined and of a refusal of a refund. Hopefully we can all get this figured out before we file a lawsuit.

Thank you, Miranda and Corrina

After spending a week at comfort inn East Melbourne I was out when they came and cleaned my room out. I was thinking I had an extra day as my house was still without power and in habitable for living in. I asked for my keys a gift card that had over $30 still in it and after losing a door card I'm paying $30 to have it replaced how l was shocked and surprised when they told me I discharge myself and everything was in the foyer of the restaurant. Also my script call medication I rely on he's also missing. These people running East Melbourne comfort inn are anything but comforting and helpful in any way. They would not even compromise my proposition 2 only receive the $30 for the door card I brought back which I lost earlier in the week. Being told it was room 44 I was here e33 and I know no one who stays there and had no one they're over so I was told 44 was not my room so the $30 is not mine and the $30 from my gift card and my keys to my apartment and my medication so overall my experience was one l rather forget. I will be taking this to consumer affairs as I'm not rich and I'm not a piece of turd. They wanted to call the police on me so I called the police too only to leave after hour waiting over an hour and I was getting cold and Hungary. They think they're above the law and they have the right to do what they have done to me makes me sick in the stomach and I feel for anyone else being singled out and plain robbed in daylight. I would not not want to go back to this uncomforting disrespectful unprofessional dirty place false advertising is all I can think of when I hear that name.
Bradden told yous that I was not going to let this rest and they are not going to get away with this so if someone could shed some lights on my mysterious missing items and money I would be more than happy to answer any questions 0432124533

Hi I am stay at the airport comfort Inn location. Our family blocked rooms for a rate of $84 a night but I was charged more for tonight. Also the front desk man said I had to pay for my room on full yesterday for both nights. I told him I wanted to pay cash upon my check but he said I had to pay then with my credit card. Never heard of this. He also told me I had to speak with the manager regarding the higher price for the room. Today I went to the front desk rang the bell no one was on sight. What should I do? Should I write a letter to cooperate!

Checked into Rocklin California comfort inn oct 14. The entire front of the hotel was blocked by fleet construction trucks. Tree service & paving company trucks. Parked indiscriminately in fire lanes (red curb) & loading (yellow curb). I asked the desk clerk to ask them to move as I didn't feel safe. She refused, refused to give her name, refused to give her managers name or number. Then ran & hid in back office. Couple days later I asked a different clerk. She said is case of fire, the fire department would call these guys to move their trucks before fire trucks arrived. Seriously!? I finally called the police, they're here now, hopefully getting it resolved. Your customer service could not have been worse. Please rectify future similar situations. Thank you.

We recently stayed at comfort inn at 412 white bridge place in Nashville. Our original reservation was mad in back in April 2022, we were meeting with my elderly in laws (82&78). A week prior to arriving my in laws called to inform us they made a mistake on what dates they would be in Nashville, my wife called and adjusted the dates with comfort inn. We arrived on Thursday as we had changed the dates to after a 15 hour drive, checked in paid cash and cash deposit all was well. We left Friday morning to meet her parents downtown Nashville for brunch as our food got to the table someone called from the hotel saying our stuff was to be removed from the room and we were suppose to check out by 11. Had to pay for a lunch we didn't get to eat and parking. Went back to the hotel to find out what happened, the person my wife spoke with when she changed the reservation messed up and only booked for the 1 night instead of adding the Thursday to our original Friday only. We straightened that out and paid for a second night. After we checked out and left I looked at my bank statement and they took out an additional $34, I called and was told they had made a mistake on the first night that I paid cash for so they charged to the card on file. If they did make a mistake on the first night it should of been taken care of when we straightened out the messed up reservation not wait till I'm gone with no phone call and just charge a card. We had to pay for a lunch we didn't eat and pay and extra $20 for parking when we went back to meet back up with my in laws. We have stayed at same hotel the year prior and had planned to make this place our spot every year. I have stayed at comfort inns for years and never had anything like this. Guess it's time for a change

Excellent employee attitude. Female breakfast service attendant was very kind to the family that spilled waffle batter everywhere and has just been generally a nice person through my families stay. She's around 5' and wears her hair in the ponytail. She worked at the Dover, New Hampshire location on 10/7 and 10/8.

Please do something nice for this woman.

I could t be more please with our stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Sturbridge, MA. I have to send out s special recognition to an outstanding desk clerk. Nour. He was exceptional in every way. Whoever made the choice to hire him made a great choice.

Amazing experience at Comfort Inn and Suites in Glenn Mills PA. Joseph was the kindest, most helpful front desk attendant that I've ever met! We had an infant with us to take our son to appt at the children's hospital nearby. The suite was very spacious for all the baby and kid stuff we had. Joseph saw us go outside to swim and brought us towels. They kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. I recommended this to all the families we know that attend the hospital nearby.

My husband and I went to Nashville in February for our anniversary and unfortunately got stranded there due to all that nasty ice and snow around Valentine's Day. After our flight was cancelled, we ended up at Comfort Inn (2521 Elm Hill Pike) near the airport in Nashville, TN.

Were were stressed as we had a child at home awaiting our arrival, and our flights continually were getting cancelled. We ended up staying 2, almost 3 (rented a car and drove home) additional nights at the Comfort Inn and can't tell you how awesome the Manager, Chuck, was at that location. He did everything he could to make sure we had what we needed and helped in anyway he could. I wanted to make sure that I took the time to let corporate Comfort Inn know what a great asset you have at that location with Chuck being the Manager. I apologize for not having his last name but it shouldn't be hard to find out. I hope he is still with your hotel and I hope you reward him in some way for being great at his job!!

With the world the way it is today, it's important to share the things about people when they truly make a difference!

My husband, granddaughter, dog and I have recently moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina. The first trip down we picked your Comfort Inn Capital Beltway/I 95 in Beltville, MD as a perfect mid way stop and a reasonably priced "pet friendly" hotel. For the price, the accomodations were just fine. I am sending this letter with regard to one particular employee at the front desk. Her name is Stephanie. I am sorry I don't know her last name, but I need to tell you how very lucky you are to have her in your employ. She is friendly, nice and very responsible. On one of our stays we left early to avoid traffic and three hours out we realized my husband left his wallet with all his credit cards in the room. Immediately I called and Stephanie answered. After explaining the situation and being put on hold,
Stephanie returned to tell me she did, indeed, find the wallet with all intact. She then went on to assist me with regard to giving me the information I needed to have it picked up by Fed Ex and packed it up waiting for it to be retrieved. We did receive it the next day and it was a very pleasant end to a very harrowing situation. After this experience we continued using your Comfort Inn and anytime I called to speak to my husband, Stephanie graciously greeted my by name! She made us feel welcome at all times and I think she should be commended for her honesty and integrity to her job. I am sure you get all sorts of complaints but this time I wanted to take the time to tell you about an extraordinary young woman you have hired for your front desk. Good job!! She deserves recognition.

I stayed one night at Comfort Inn in Greenville, Ala., at the end of May, probably the last day of May.

I had excellent service and the room was impeccable!!

A man, who identified himself as "Hoss," was the desk clerk during my stay. He was very courteous and helpful. I just want to commend him for his service and hospitality!!!

I usually travel alone. It is comforting to trust my safety and hospitable service to Comfort Inn staff and facilities!! Thank you!

very comfortable and cor

The Comfort Inn at Princess St. Kingston, Ontario is PHI-NOMINAL !!! Susie (The Manager) & Her Son "Tom" have it ALTOGETHER when it comes to Service, Personality, Understanding, Patience, Attention-To-EVERY-Detail. They are there to answer any question or give you any thing you ask for. They GREET YOU every morning in The Breakfast Room with Smiles from Ear to Ear. We can't THANK THEM ENOUGH for accommodating My Husband's Brother - while he waits for His Apartment to become available, now that The Family Estate has been sold. The Rates & Comfort (lol) is all he needs to fulfill his Time & it's like "Home" for now.

We travel often. We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Atoka, TN for a week. Very friendly and helpful, service was 1st class. We specifically want to commend manager Carmen Smith. She went out of her way for us in every respect and made us feel right at home. Similarly, night manager Brian Maghetti, was equally professional and responsive to our needs. This was our first stay at a Comfort Inn, but will not be the last. (only the coffee was 3rd rate!)

My husbandand I stayed at the comfort inn in Lantana FL. The hotel stay was very nice.very clean and well managed.what impressed us most was a woman named Stella who managed the breakfast area. She greeted each guest and explained what was offered and went out of her way to help everyone.everything was in perfect order and clean.we watched her constantly wiping and straightening things and refilling.she brought people water, coffee, whatever anyone needed. The way she took care of everyone you would think she owned the hotel.perfect

After a very hectic week of travel and celebrations it is time for me to compliment the staff at your hotel in Goshen NY. My husband and I checked in on December 18th and checked out on the 19th after a pleasant night and breakfast. We were driving to Florida and I did not check my email messages unti we were leaving Pennsylvania. I had received an email from Neffertiti who was at the front desk telling me I had left my wallet and keys at the hotel. I immediately called and spoke to her and it was decided that she would FedEx me my wallet and keys to my Florida address. They arrived the next day fully intact.I was much impressed by the efficiency, integrity and honesty of both Neffertiti and the housekeeper of room 330.I am sending a thank you and gift card to both. Thank you. Linda Brown

I recently flew to Moncton New Brunswick. My purpose was a surprise visit to a close friend dying of cancer. The C. I. East was located about 1.8 km from the airport. I arrived at 1130 pm and was quickly registered. The staff at the front desk were amazing. Their professionalism, knowledge assisted me greatly in learning how to get to my destination .In the am I was surprised to see soo many soccer kids and parents checking out. Julien was alone handling all the checks outs . From my seat in the lobby I observed how he handled all these teens and parents with the same smile and compassion for each guest. Kudos to Julien and his team . My room was clean and I have to admit one of the most comfortable beds Ive slept in on my travels in a long time. The Comfort Inn would be remiss if they didnt move Julien into management as he is one of those special people you rarely get to actually take the time to write about . Thanks again Julien

Hello. Thank you! Long overdue but needless to say, must tell you how helpful staff
was at Revere Comfort Inn, Revere Massachusetts last Jan. 6th, 2016. In the early morning of the 7th my husband became ill prior to out flight. The staff at desk was
wonderful! One staff member getting off his shift drove to purchase crutches us at CVS and assembled them in the lobby. Staff helped to escort him by wheelchair from the room, transport our things and get us on the shuttle. What a wonderful night mgt team! Please extend our appreciate and apologize it was not sent to you sooner. We stay at Revere Comfort Inn every year!

Staff very nice. Changed our room when request was made. HOWEVER, stain on white coverlet, appears that a cup of coffee was spilled on phone. WiFi does not work in room so I am currently standing in hall way to write this!

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Salida, Colorado. I must say I had the best night of sleep I have had on a long time. I called the hotel a few days later and asked if they could provide me the mattress type and who made the mattress. They kindly took my new and number and said they would calle back. Unfortunately I have received no call back. Is there anyway you can inform me who makes the mattress and what type it is? I am in the market for a new mattress and want one identical to the one I slept in at your hotel. Thanks .

My extended family stayed last weekend at Comfort Inn in Festus, Missouri because of a family funeral. The young lady who was preparing, serving and cleaning up breakfast is truly to be commended for her excellent work ethic and attention to guests. i work at a major health system in the Kansas City area. Had she been willing to relocate, I would have stollen her away from you! Truly you have a wonderful dedicated employee. Treat her accordingly so other grieving families will be equally comforted.

I listed a problem with your Virginia beach comfort suites. It took 3 1/2 hours to get our room. We have been offered 50% off our night. The problem is rectified.

Enjoying a nice comfort inn room as usual but just have a comment about the name of your soaps. Comfort care - that name denotes in the health world hospice care in the final stage of a life. The family is told that their loved one will receive comfort care. It's probably not a problem I just have been through the loss of a family member so the name jumped out at me. Just some thoughts. Thank you for a wonderful motel and great service.

December 18-19, 2015, myself my fiancee, family members and wedding party stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites on Lasalle Avenue in Waco,Tx. This hotel, hands down, has the most wonderful, attentive, patient staff members ever! From the general manager Stephanie, to Assistant Manger Tamera and other staff members, you won't find a better group of people. The rooms are huge, and super clean. The meeting room was so convenient for our rehersal dinner. And the breakfast was so good. I recently spoke with Tamera to sign up for the rewards program, so I can continue to patronage this establishment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for having such amazing and caring people working for your great company. God bless, Keith & Talibah Maxwell-Gaines.

My family and I spent this past weekend snowmobiling down in the Black River Falls, WI area and stayed at your facility there. We were very satisfied with the service that we received from your staff. Everyone was very friendly and seemed sincere in wanting to make our stay a pleasant one. The desk Associate, Tamara, was excellent and was especially friendly and expressed a very positive attitude towards her job. I also had complemented the cook that was on duty as the breakfast provided both days was very good. I have worked in retail for 37 years and it is very encouraging to meet Associates that are pleasant and enjoy their jobs.

FYI:

Had a great time and the staff was excellent. Room was super clean and appreciative. Have a few complaints that are room specific. Room 209. Refrigerator compressor is going bad and making a wakening noise when running. TV was a little aged and dark making it hard to see with these old eyes. Hot water in tub was not hot enough when all the way hot, although the sink was hot! May have a plugged up valve on the hot side of the tub.

I had a problem with my reservation and called the hotel to see if they could help me with my problem, much to my surprise I was transfer to Maria one of the managers voice mail. I called three times and she never answer my call, what type of manager dose that? the next day I called and asked if there was another manager and they game me Oscars name I called and he was so patient with me and help me solve my problem in less than 5 min that is all it took for him to hear me out and take action by looking into my reservation. I think Oscar took a leader roll and solved the problem, he acted like he should have acted like a manager. This happen at the Comfort Inn & suites Inglewood California.I was very happy.
Thank You
Oscar.

Just spent the night in Rock Springs, WY at your Comfort Inn. The computer was down which in most businesses means you, the customer, are out of luck. Not so with Marilyn Robinson and Mossie Nortz, both of whom were manning the front desk. They soldiered on forcing the system the old fashioned way and they did it in good cheer and grace. My wife an I were impressed.

We could have stayed across the street for half the price, admittedly with fewer amenities. Glad we didn't! They are great and deserve a corporate 'At a boy' for hanging in there. I could conquer the corporate world with an army of employees like these. Thought someone should know. Regards, John Snidow

I was employed at Comfort Inn in Huntington West Virginia.I was informed they found bed bugs in 3 rooms one on each floor but I wasn't going to be cleaning those rooms because I was fairly new and lacked training.A couple hours later the desk person said I needed to strip these rooms in addition to the 15 other rooms I had.comfort Inn was also out of gloves and I had been working for 2days without them .I was told I had to do it.I said I didn't feel comfortable doing so .The supervisor just said you have to. Comfort Inn did not treat rooms that were close to the affected rooms or inspect them.

My husband worked briefly for the Comfort Inn in Evanston Wyoming but only lasted a little over a week before leaving due to the absolute immature way this hotel was run. The manager had her boyfriend with her 100 % of the time wether she was helping a customer or hiding away together in her back office. My husband was then told I was not able to spend his lunch break with him and he needed to focus on nothing but his very simple duties. Talk about someone promoted well before they were ready and let what they assumed was absolute power go straight to their heads. Rules applied to everybody except herself as far as she was concerned so my husband left for a better job with a company that knew how to treat their employees with respect. 2 weeks after leaving the company he went in to return the shirts they had provided him and to pick up what little paycheck was owed to him and was told he wasn't going to receive a check for another month because of paperwork not being turned in (but thankfully my husband kept copies of everything) and took her copies of his copies as well as uniform but was told there just wasn't a check for him from them and they owed him nothing. He just happened to catch her by surprise after he had been told she'd be on vacation for the next week and nobody could reach her but came back into the building less than 10 minutes later and she was miraculously at the front desk. By her rudeness and inability to face matters head on proved that she is no more than a child who believes she's in control of her own little kingdom but is unwilling or even able to handle a very basic situation. The average employee working under her lasted less than a month and it's been made very clear why that has been the case. When asked to involve the corporate offices my husband was told that things would be played out as she saw fit and not to count on being compensated for any of his time working for that particular comfort inn. Without an immediate and appropriate response from the corporate office we have decided that we will be taking legal action unless the mess this girl made is rectified ASAP. There was no cause for any of this mess to take place and whoever decided the girl managing their hotel was in any way prepared, trained or even cared about the position she was to represent with dignity and pride should obviously not hold the position they supposedly earned any more than she should be even making beds in their establishment. We are aware the short time my husband spent there was rather small but have decided to legally pursue the matter simply because no company, big or small, should ever treat the employees that make the whole thing possible feel like dog crap they happened to step in and then expect the maids to smile while cleaning their shoes. The entire situation is wrong no matter how you choose to look at it and clearly needs a visit from the higher uppers and should be restructured from top to bottom. If I happened to be in charge over this particular hotel I would hide my face away knowing full well I truly failed what had once been a great name and a proud company to work for. Shame on all of you!

I was recently employed by comfort Inn.I worked there about six days.I started working did what i was suppose to but I didnt agree with how they was training me.so I finished out the day and left. This is how the clean the rooms they didnt wash the bath tubs they would spray the tubs with bleach and would just wipe it dry so nasty and the germs.so I did it my way and washed the tubs out right with running water. But make a long story short I wasnt paid for the days I worked. The General manarger said that he didnt have to pay me.By me not signing an employment packet they pretended like they had no clue as to what was going on.And half the time we didnt have anything to work with like sheets ,towels and wash rags .cause laundry would be behind cause the General manerger had to wash his things first cause he lives there at the hotel not only is he liar but he also goes with the help .I am about to seek legal help cause they had me working illegally. The General manergar and Executive manerger needs to be fired .The comfort Inn in Middleburg heights in Cleveland by the airport is ran by some morons thats why people dont stay cause they dont know how too treat there employees.

I worked at Comfort Suites in Ardmore Oklahom preparing all the food every morning for about 5 hours a day. Around April 17th 2013 I got very sick and ended up in the emergency room. I called my boss from the hospital hours before I was to be at work and explained where I was and wouldn't be Abe to come in. When I got home I called again and told the hotel that the hospital said I could not work with food for 48 hours so I would not be able to cone to work the next day either. When the 48 hours was up I walked, still sick to work in the cold ran almost 2 miles away. When I got to work I was rudely yelled at and and what I thought I was doing there? I was told to get out and that I didn't work there anymore. I will never recommend Comfort Suites or any of its sister hotels. Not only did they fire me illegally fir being in the hospital but I still have not been to get may last paycheck. Also they fired me for not working illegally with a note from a hospital saying very clearly I COULD NOT WORK WITH ANY FOOD FOR 48 HOURS.

I actually worked at a comfort inn in Boise Idaho. I was a housekeeper. Things that are found in rooms go to a lost and found with a label and the customers info. Well a co-worker grabbed something out of one of my rooms. She told me she was taking it to "the box" later that day before I went home I stopped to check if the item was there. It wasnt. There was no one there for me to talk to so I had to wait until the next morning. I discussed my problem with a manager. Instead of talking to the owner she told the girl I was calling her a theif. Of course this caused an arguement. Of course in the middle of argueing the owner showed up. I was not allowed to tell him what happened. When I tried to explain myself I was fired. This comfort inn does knowinly rent to prostitutes doing buisiness. The owner allows drug use. Even when there were complaints about marijuana smoke. I will never stay or work at another comfort inn.
