At Fred meyers on 148th and division. The customer service area needs to be changed to work better. We stood in Lind 45 minutes because one guy had a transaction that took that long. There should be one line for quick transactions and one for money exchange that takes so much longer. I kept thinking that this store would catch up with the problem but never had. I will no longer be shopping this store because of this failure

I made a purchase and requested 60 dollars cash back at the gateway Fred Meyer in Portland at 6:10 pm on Monday January 29th.
The register never gave me the cash back.

I told the service desk, and they treated me like I was lying. They refused to check the camera and told me they would write a short change report and get back to me In The morning. I called them when I never heard back and they said they take their time doing change reports. "I don't know what to tell ya."
They said.

I feel robbed by this company.

Shame on you Fred Meyer!
I spoke with Rose a supervisor today. She stated you must have a have a digital coupon to get the sale price. When you have a sale it needs to be for every one. How greedy do you really need to be.Get rid of digital coupons!

Very overpriced!
Understaffed customer service
Dale items that are not in their computer system at checkout
Confusing digital ad discounts in store at borde on deceiving

I do everything I can to avoid your stores, the lack of help in the lanes (that's actually getting better?) To the horrible sense of urgency from the checkers, something has got to change. I should not have to wait in any line for 20 minutes, ridiculous

FUCC FRED MEYERS AND THEIR PRESCRIPTION POLICY! I living with chronic pain sucks! and for them to say sorry we are out and need a re-stock. Yeah after today I'm looking for a new pharmacy.

Posted by Gordon

The digital coupon system has made us start shopping at Walmart. Every single time we try to follow this time consuming b.s. we have trouble. We then tell the cashier and they are always good about adjusting the price..but why? People are either forced to pay a higher price for something...or waste a half hour in the store trying to make it work. After 30 years of shopping at Fred Meyer,Fry's,city market were done. Walmart is cheaper anyway.and that's without the frustration of these stupid digital coupons.

Please place notification sign and new shelf organization info sheets at entry doors near carts. After going back and forth for 1.5+ hours I asked service desk why there was no guide to new product location. Employee handed me a sheet, as if I was supposed to know it was at their desk?????

I was racially profiled and policed by an employee named Matthew at the self check out in the federal way location. He singled me out and implied I was trying to steal an item which was the first item I scanned and checked out. Out of 6 people he pulled my basket away from me a acted as if I was a criminal. This is a place I come weekly and I get the same items for my kids and myself. He told me it was "corporate policy" to check at the items and check out. He was rude and used my autonomy as a women against me as if I was stupid.

I have heard that Kroeger is considering a Fred Meyer store in the city of Moses Lake, WA. I would so like to see a store here. I shopped at the store in Lynnwoood, WA for several years until I moved w/my daughter to the city of Moses Lake.
I loved the Fred Meyer store. Their household articles are of high quality and last for a long time. I now shop at Wal-Mart because that is the store that is here. There is also a Winco which I do not shop at, but my daughter does. We would both shop at the Fred Meyer store!! Please consider opening a store in our area!

At your issaquah wa store I was trying to buy an item. The gir was slicing meat. When she finished she put the sliced meat in the display turned to me and said I'll be with you in a minute. Then sh turned around and started slicing more meat. I was the only on e waiting she wasn't slicing the meat for another ccustomer and acted as if her sliced meat for the display was more important than a paying customer

Went to the checkstand at the Fred Meyers on TV Hwy (#4) at noon on Saturday the 30th of September and the clerk was not especially friendly nor helpful. The only thing she said, after handing me the recite, was have a nice day.

Ordered the $2.50 pizza from florence store. Hard as a rock. Returned it. Wasn't offered a refund or replacement. Store needs a vitamin shoppe to get some higher quality health stuff in it. Store needs to buy some local bread and bakery items to replace the poor quality stuff Fred Meyer makes. See Nugget Markets in Ca. Store needs a coffee shop.Get some jocko fuel store. Have an aisle for veteran ran small businesses.

The pharmacy staff are rude and absolutely disgusting, I've waited for a three days.. THREE DAYS to get my medication because "we're so backed up". While I have heart issues, they don't seem to concern themselves.

Hi I am a customer and had 9 of my personal items stolen by one of fred meyers employees. I have been shopping at this fred meyer several times a week for over 14 yrs and have never had any issues like today. I try to use at least 1 reusable shopping bag that I take in the store with me since you now charge for grocery bags and because of all the theft in this area I dont feel comfortable leaving my groceries in my car for long periods of time especially in your parking lot since I've already had my car broken into several times in this area and once in your parking lot so I ALWAYS ALWAYS just leave whatever groceries I previously bought from other stores in my bag when I shop since I only have 1 large reusable shopping bag to try and cut down on wasting and purchasing un-needed plastic grocery bags but today when I was checking out after I purchased my items from fred meyers your employee wanted me to scan my own personal items that I had already purchased from other stores or asked me to show my receipts and since I literally have over 500 receipts in my wallet (hopefully to aid in situations like this) did me no good since I sat there for over 20 minutes trying to find my receipts to show your employee already being late for work myself. After 20 minutes of this I had to leave and honestly didnt want to be chased out or tackled by one of your employees over something stupid like this so your employee literally got away with stealing 9 of my personal items, I dont know if they kept them for themself or threw them away and honestly don't care either way but the fact that I had 9 of my own personal items stolen by one of your employees is not right. I did not see this employee going through other customers purses or bags making them show receipts for personal items and stealing customers items if a receipts not provided, I'm not sure why I was targeted but I shouldn't have to come in naked to your store just to shop and not be robbed by your employees after being almost a daily customer for over 14 years. Your employees have no right to make customers show receipts for their personal items and then steal them from the customer if they cannot provide a receipt. Your store owes me $34.51 for my items that your employee stole from me. I hope other customers arent robbed like I was. Previously this same employee on a different shopping trip tried to get me to scan packaging supplies from the post office that I had just came from that were in my bag and werent even scannable because they were free. It seems like everytime this employee is working I am being harassed by them. Why is fred meyers allowing their employee to get away with this? There's ways to prevent theft at your store without allowing your employees to steal themselves if in fact that's what she was doing since I'm the one who ended up getting robbed. This employee is mascarading under the guise of theft prevention to allow them to help themself steal anything in customers bags or purses.

From Western Washington here. We used to do a lot of shopping at Fred Meyer like clothes, shoes, housewares even bought our food and family bikes from there. The clothing quality is non existent. Most of the fabrics are non biodegradable clothing that will last forever in a dump not very green, with a cheap dye that quite a few people are allergic to. So the Brand dip sucks FYI. There used to be Columbia pants and shirts and sweaters gone at my store not to mention most of the other brands that have natural fibers. I used to buy my brand name tennis shoes almost always at Fred Meyer not anymore. Also would buy my Bear Paws every year there, not at my store anymore. I used to buy food there but I the prices have gone up. I can afford more at other big brand stores. The house wares fall apart and because my bike was mishandled in the warehouse or shipping the canister on the front when was leaking out of the box. The boxes are not supposed to be put on their side and it clearly was. I know this and don't work there. It's also not just me. My parents were regular shoppers at Fred Meyer, mom goes to Walmart now she says if I'm going to buy substandard clothing and shoes it shouldn't cost as much as it does at Fred Meyer. This has been a build up over the last 5 years I stopped buying clothes, then shoes, now food I only have my prescriptions there now and I've been considering moving them too. You may not care but I know I'm not the only one. Lastly let's talk about pricing I wouldn't mind paying more for quality products and good service but as it stands currently Fred Meyer isn't carrying quality natural products in clothing. They are not carrying clothing that is good for the environment, it's plastic with poison dyes. I don't know who is doing the purchasing , but they are slowly chasing your regular customers out of the store. I no longer do any big shopping there. Change these things and you may win some of your customers back. Fred Meyer is closest to my home. I can walk there but I don't because of the above listed reasons.

Posted by Anonymous

When checker rings something twice, I am only buying one. Then I have to walk and stand in line to get refund, it's their error but I get the punishment! This is not customer service. Has happened several times. Cmon now Fred's

I really feel like you guys should bring back layaway. How can we continue to be loyal customers if you guys don't even offer a payment plan? Most people nowadays don't have $1800 to just drop on a new furniture set in full. It's actually quite frustrating.

Fred meyer told the ring i wanted could be resized 2 weeks later they tell me it can't. I also bought a ring for my girlfriend the stone fell off the next day.

I am so disappointed with Freddys. Almost everything that I bought that isn't food, I returned or should have returned. Now, this is the second time that meet I bought is bad before the expiration date!

I Had The Worst Experience Of My Life Today At Fredmeyer. I Had Downloaded A Coupon For A Doollar Off Bacon Had A Terrible Time Even Finding It .so Checking Out My Receiptm Saw The Clerk Had Not Taken Off The Dollar .went To Customer Service Waited In Line Was Telling Clerk Name Rachel Who States She Is The Manager, I Have A Loud Voice So She Yells A Me When I Try To Explain And Says Show Me ,don't Have Smart Iphone It Is On Tablet. I Leave Then I Come Back Return Bacon ,omly A Dollar But Mond You I Probably Spend 5000 Dollars A Year At The Woodvillage Store In Oregon .may Not After Today

Corporate now controls how loud the automated voice is on self checkout. Today checking out it was so loud it hurt the ear drums. I asked the attendant to turn down the volume and she said they could no longer adjust volume that corporate is in control. I will not be using self checkout again and I always use self checkout. Another reason to dislike Fred meyer.

Posted by Disappointed Again

Home delivery you'll get 3 different final reciepts. Sometimes your pre-authorization goes throught the gas station. Order never delived...run around about the refund. Never refunded.
Refunds do to THEIR error 7-10 days. This does not work well for the elderly, those on Social Security or disabled. They ARE on limited income!! You can NOT reach corporate your call gets re-routed back to customer service. ALSO, since Covid produce is OFTEN rotten or moldy... tired of it ALL

Had a cart full of groceries. The bagger in the next line refused to help.He had absolutely no bags to pack there.Still refused to help. So I was really causing a stink about it. Some one had passed it along to the floor manager. He was the one that bagged for me. He was pulled up from working on pick up orders. So he left the job that an employee was to be doing to do another employees job helping me. The bagger in the next line was just standing there doing absolutely nothing while watching his boss do all the work. My cart was completely full. I asked for help to get to my care. "I'll get someone for you". Not! Been shopping here for years and will never go back!

Visitors from Vancouver stopped and shopped at Fred Meyers, Fred Meyer on Baker Road in Bellingham, Our server was a wonderful woman named Christina made us feel welcome and gave us excellent service definitely will be a place for us to stop by next time we're in the US thank you again, Christina

Fred Meyers, you are giving your customers and yourselves a disservice when you consistently have fruit that is tasteless, pithy and has lack of color and flavor. The high prices that we pay for the privilege of having fresh fruit occasionally to serve our families, is heartbreaking when we get home to find that it is not edible. All summer long I have craved fresh fruit and with the watermelons the first two I brought back, the next three I just tossed out. Moving on to the nectarines and peaches, I bought two of each and tossed them out. The second time, I bought one peach and one nectarine. The bananas however we're good. If you need a tester for your fruits, I would volunteer. But for those of us who live on fixed incomes or live paycheck to paycheck, this is a total insult. You put out ads and commercials that depict a warm and friendly shopping experience, but it is certainly not that, when we are charged high prices for food that is literally garbage. Fred Meyers; you can do better and if you can't and this is the best that you can offer your customers, I will choose to shop elsewhere. Jn

I wanted to post a review about my experience at Fred Meyer's on Aurora and 175 in shoreline.
I actually go out of my way to purchase my seafood at this particular Fred Meyer's all the employees that I have come in contact with in the seafood department have been absolutely wonderful, very courteous and kind. I even asked if it was a requirement to work in this department.
The name of the person that helped me today was Wills,
Thank you

I just wanted to say how wonderful Jameson was with my pickup at the Yakima, WA location. He helped me with several coupons that were not scanning. I brought my own bags so he did not charge me for bags. He was very courteous, helpful and friendly. Probably my best pick-up experience anywhere.

I was at Fred Meyer's store in Bremerton today and wanted to let give you feedback about one of your employees. Her name is Fe and she is a model employee. She not only was efficient but so very helpful to me at the store today. She was kind and so very patient with me. She showed me how to download the app, which I had trouble doing. She went out of her way to help me. I will certainly come back and shop there. Thank you for hiring such a competent and and kind employee. Sincerely Anne Bartow

I wanted to take the time to congratulate the pharmacy staff at Fred Meyer on Crater Lake Hwy. I feel that they deserve special recognition for their hard work with all the extra challenges brought about by COVID issues. It is refreshing to me as a customer to feel like their staff really cares. It is evident that they are working so hard. They are taking the extra time to solve problems- most of which are beyond their control. I wanted to give extra kudos to Angela who bent over backwards to solve my perplexing problem with a perscription yesterday. Her persistence, and kindness should be acknowledged. All of the Fred Meyer pharmacy staff are doing exceptional work. I would appreciate it if you could pass on this feedback to Angela and to the staff as a whole. They are doing a terrific job!

Today I had a cart full of groceries so I decided to look for a checker who I knew from past experience, who was conscientious and quick. Leslie was working YAY! I had to split my groceries into two receipts and she stayed and took care of me along with Kurtis and Jo. Fabulous teamwork! Thanks so much folks for getting me checked out and on my way as quickly as possible. I surely appreciated it.

I bought a large item today at the Fred Meyer store in Warrenton. It was too large for me to lift and carry to the check stand. There was a clerk working very hard in the holiday section and focused on his task. However, when he knew what I needed he was a dream of a helper. He located a large push cart, lifted the large and heavy item and helped me wheel it to the check stand. He even assisted in carrying the item to my car. His name is --Ken-- and he needs to be congratulated with a giant pat on the back. --His kindness, helpfulness and positive spirit made my shopping experience a joy. Thank you Ken!

Yesterday I shopped at the Salmon Creek Fred Meyer as they are very accessable for disabled people. When I arrived, there were no electric carts available so I asked the young man (Branen) that was retrieving carts from the parking lot if he had seen any out there. He had not but he literally ran to the other entrance to see if there were any there. He immediately returned with a wheel chair but having no one to push me around I thanked him for his effort and sat down to wait for one to be returned to the store. Branen, between runs to get carts, kept checking on electric carts for me. He located one being used by a customer that was almost ready to leave but before that could happen Branen found another one and brought it to me. What a caring young man! Then upon check out Carla, the cashier, personally bagged all my groceries and put them in my cart then asked me if I needed help out. Wow! Numerous times I have needed assistance and the cashiers just ignored me. To my surprise my assistant was Branen. Both of these employees deserve recognition for their excellent customer service. I hope that as Fred Meyer woeks on their customer service this becomes the norm for all employees. Way to go Branen and Carla. Great examples for everyone!

John and Ashley went above and beyond with assisting me with my shopping. John assisted me with finding a certain product and Ashley helped me check out my groceries which saved me a lot of time. Great customer services and very helpful! i will highly recommend Fred Meyers in Auburn for good service.

I want to thank Ben, Shaun and another employee who assisted me greatly as I transferred from my wheel chair to an electric cart BEN was most helpful and I want him to be recognized. I would have needed to call 911 if not for Ben!

I have shopped at Fred Meyer at this location for more than 10 years on a daily basis. All the employees are great!

My comments are for a young man named Cameron, who works at the Bothell, Washington, Fred Meyer on the Bothell-Everett Hwy. and 210th 98021. He is one of the most friendly, positive, helpful and caring employees I have ever seen. During the stressful remodel, he was one of the hardest working "remodel team" workers. Since the remodel completed, he is working both nutrition and grocery. He takes the time to answer my phone calls asking if they have certain products, and when I'm shopping he goes out of his way to help me find something (I'm 66) no matter how busy he is! For a young man, he works much harder than most. His personality should be appreciated, he is always smiling, which goes far for customers' moods! Thank you.

Today I got back from shopping at the Medford Oregon South store and I got home and discovered that some meats I purchased did not get bagged and put in my cart. I called the store and they said they couldn't find them, but to come down and they would figure it out. I went down and the meat was still not found. The food manager- Carol I think, was super. She walked with me to the meat department and had me select what was missing. Sh even had me take a more expensive package of steaks because the original was sold out. I am a big Freddy's Fan and will continue to shop there.

I love shopping at your stores. My gpaw took me to your store in Portland in the 1960's for the free cookies. Many good times! Now I'm old and set in my ways and have a hard time with life in general. Your Lakeway store in Bellingham wa is going to the crapper at a fast rate. Starting with the handicap parking spaces that are on the sidewalk, yea the sidewalk. We must walk in the street area to get past. Why would you pave the curb and expect that not to happen? The self check-out is great! The 2 girls working it not so much. Once I was trying to input my ID# and no luck so I called for the helper and was insulted. In a crappy tone she said are you sure that's your phone number? Yes since 1972. Well then keep on trying was her reply as she walked off. Well I never went to her lane again. Some weeks later I ask a helper how to fine something on the screen and she told me "this is a self check, if you're unable to use it you need to go to a regular check out" WTF did you just say?! Why are you here if you can't help me? I'm someone that has a lot of mental issues and hate talking to people some days. Some days it takes me 2-3 hours just to get up the energy to think about leaving my property. Some days the pills don't work and I feel really bad and can't take any hits. Please inform your people that being polite is a good thing.Telling a screwed up vet he is somewhat stupid is not something one wants to keep on doing. I've had nothing but problems from these two girls. I feel they make me get upset by doing something to my machine with some hand held device to watch me freak out. Not cool man. not cool. If they make me go off on someone I can assure you a lawsuit will follow. Please stop screwing with people like me. Maybe if someone cant say something nice or nothing at all, perhaps dealing with the public is not the best job for them.

I had the pleasure of dealing withJJ Ortiz watch repair at the Johnson Creek FM. I don't know what they pay him, but it isn't enough. He is the most effective, knowledgable, friendly, skilled gentleman I have ever dealt with in my search around watch repair shops and jewelers. Bravo Mr Ortiz

Melody, the Self Checkout Clerk who works at the Portland, Oregon, Johnson Creek location is one of the most efficient, friendly, and courteous clerks that we have encountered. Thanks Melody!

At least two of the reviews under negative are actually positive.

I think that the stores must have different policies because I have only had wonderful experiences with Fred Meyer. I have only known one check out person who I didn't like and I've been shopping for years. They are always friendly. Employees who have been there a while recognize me. I have returned items I bought months before. I've returned items without tags. I've twice returned handbags without tags that had been used nonstop for a couple of months that had some stitching coming out. The main pharmacist knows me and my teens by name, even when the kid hasn't been there in months. I have nothing but good to say about Fred Meyer. I have had different experiences with other Freddie's stores but they've always been good. I never even have to use a receipt now because I use my customer rewards card and they can look it up. With that, I get anywhere from $7 to $21 back every three months.

Fred Meyer is my favorite store.
