The store manager is the worst I've ever seen. She sits in the office and doesn't help the cashier.shes very rude and need a customer service class. The store is dirty and things are everywhere. However she makes time to sit in the office and be outside smoking.

I visited the Glenmont ny store today. I am an employee of a combo store and thought I would stop by to check out this store. What I found was a total disaster. There is no organization what so ever. The floors were initially swept and the merchandise was piled on the shelves. Many many empty hooks.I suggest management take a good look at this store as this one is a recent remodel . I was so disappointed in this store. And actually embarrassed for them.

I spend a lot of money in dollar tree daily. Olaides a new male worker is very rude towards me, he didn't want to give me my receipt today, he only been working in the mount Vernon office for a few months. His attitude stinks, and he never says nothing to you when you say good morning. I don't care about that as much as giving me my receipts , I had to take the receipt myself, after spending my money in the store located on 203 Gramatan ave. Mount Vernon New York 10550-1205, he needs to show or have some respect for me, I'm a valuable customer at dollar tree and I have spent money in this store, since they been open. I don't know what Olaides problem is but he need to be retrained or fired. I am a very mannerable customer, I'm pleasant and I'm always friendly to my store clerks. I pray your management office get into touch with the person in charge of that location and bring this to their attention. Thank you, God bless you, happy holidays.

I placed an order for Christmas bags on Nov 19. Got email on the 24 th that order has shipped. I called on Nov 27th to track shipment. I was told the order had not shipped. That it was in back order and not sure when it would ship. We are on a deadline and need the bags asap. I got off of call and discussed what to do. We decided to cancel the shipment. We had. Even lied to about it being shipped already. I called to cancel the order. I was told by Mrs Murphy that I could not cancel she originally said it had already been shipped. When I said that was not true she said that it had been laid up for shipment. I told her that was not what her coworker told us this morning. She refused to cancel the order. She said that when we finally do get the order to take it to a Dollar Tree and get a refund. We paid $30 for shipping. I just needed the order cancelled.Ms.zMurphy was rude and wouldn't even stop talking long enough to listen to what I had to say. I will never order from Dollar Tree again. Very unprofessional did did not tell the truth in their emails or on the phone.

Was in the Dollar Tree at 5900 Rivers Avenue 11/18/23.. Store number# 5202. Ms. Nicole is a horrible manager!!! She made an assumption without giving ANY consideration to the FACT that Im a senior citizen with an obvious physical disability!! I have made the decision to contact The Corporate Headquarters about what took place. That call will be made Monday morning,11/20/23!!!! VERY unacceptable!!!

My closest Dollar Tree is on Montauk Hwy in Shirley N.Y. It was a lovely store to shop at when they first opened. Now its like shopping through a tornado of merchandise. Boxes of merchandise in the aisles that need to be put on shelves. Opened packages with missing merchandise. And to top it off there is a young couple that sit in front of the store panhandling. They've been there over a year now. The only positive thing at the store is sales associate Tiffany. She has been working there for years and is constantly professional and helpful.

Whitefish, Montana...Store is always closed, or closes at 5:00, or opens late... If you have an interview scheduled, say at like 8:00 am, no one shows up for hours, or not at all. This store is AWFUL... Needs a dependable manager, if they say they are going to be open, then they should be open, lots of customer lost...

I just left the store and very disappointed with the cashier. Whiteoaks Edmonton Ab Canada location. I bought 4 jars and 4 glasses. Asked the cashier to wrapped it with paper to be secured and the only answer this Luan employee is he doesn't have paper to use. What is the training given to this employee to secure a breakable goods? I read some of the reviews and learned that staff can get away with this poor service.

Store: Wade Green Kennesaw. GA

The floors are extremely dirty. I asked the cashier if they had housekeeping, she replied "one a year". This is very sad and unsanitary. They need more inventory also.

HYSTERICAL to read the employees complaints about customers at these hideous retail outlets. Granted, there are those who abuse almost everything that they come in contact with throughout their pathetic lives...
HOWEVER,the local dollar tree,(Minden,Nv),which at one time was a delight to shop in,with friendly management and employees ,now resembles a warehouse that has recently been subject to a nuclear explosion. They are consistently FILTHY as well as out of EVERYTHING that they carried at one time.Asking for help is a complete joke.;The clerks are inevitably without any knowledge whatsoever. All the good ones napparently have moved on.how this CRIMINALLY CRIMINAL CO. has remained in business is an unfathomable mystery. Their ceo's should be imprisoned!

This Dollar tree. At this address.
496 US-84, Cairo, GA 39828

Has not had any mops sticks or brooms in months
The art section for painting is never stocked correctly and always a mess.
There is never any bleach
If you would do a walk through it's a mess simply walking in the door.
The next town over is Thomasville. That Dollar three is always very organized and neat and everything I need is there.
But I can't drive 30 mins every time I need something from your store.
It is very messy in This store.
Please CLEAN IT UP.
PLEASE STOCK IT WELL
MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS STOCKED.
why can't I buy a mop you have all the mop heads there but no mop stick and this has been going on for months and months...
Please fix this thank you.
But the way every employee is super friendly and very nice..
This store needs help with products and more 2 ppl working there at all times.
Thank you.

My local dollar tree in Newport Ky is not handicapped friendly there should be some type of handicap cart, wheelchair, scooter for the elderly and disabled. Sadly I don't go there much anymore because I can't walk the store to shop due to my disability. Please consider having something for the disabled.

I was at Store #5119 on 8/9/23, earlier in the day I called to see if the rest of my online order was received, Kim (the manager) said 1 box was there and could I call back in an hour so she could check for the other box, I said it's ok, I'll just go in there after work. She asked what time and I told her I should be there around 5:20. I go in there after work and told the cashier I was there to pick up an online order so she called the manager over the loud speaker. Kim comes walking over talking on her cell phone and the security guard that was standing with me told her I was there to pick up an online order. She told him I would have to wait until she was back from lunch. What store doesn't have a person who can help a customer with such a common thing while the designated person is at lunch?????

I was at Store #1226 on Monday, August 7th around 5pm and overheard a very disturbing conversation coming from the manager's office at the back of the store. The woman speaking showed no effort to speak quietly and it was easy to clearly hear what she said.

She was speaking to an employee about other employees of the store. She referred to one of them as "b*tchy", "a-hole" and used the F-word several times. Her comments about several employees were very disparaging and could be overheard by anyone within 30 feet of the office.

I was very troubled by this. What if one of those employees was my friend or family member? How dare she speak so unprofessionally?! This behavior is shameful. I hope something will be done so this manager uses greater discretion and respect!

I went to our local Dollar tree yesterday. They were busy one checker with a line. So I waited in line, then the women came out of the office space and said, next in line. So the women be hind me started over, employee said loudly next in line, the lady behind me flagged me over. I went , I had one purchase, &1.34, the whole time employee was angry, so I paid my $1.34 and said thank you have a nice day. She never looked at me never smiled and was rude. Ok what's the deal?
She has been like that in the past, always got a crank on! Not a good look for Dollar Tree, get another manager she's pretty lame! Most of the people there are great!

A customer was so upset they walked out of the Dollar store on Berryessa/Capitol swearing & without paying! Took my mother to the Berryessa/Capitol Dollar store around 1pm. There was a long, very slow-moving line. And only one cash register was open. After waiting in line for a long time. My mother went to the office area & asked the (presumably) manager sitting there if another cashier was available to open a 2nd line. The manager said they were on lunch. After a while two more customers (one after the other) went to the office area & asked if a 2nd cashier would open another register. Suddenly, an employee said over the intercom "3 of us employees are on our lunch hour. And the cashier is new so please be patient with him." Next thing, another customer went to the office door which the manager had closed. Yelled towards the employee office door:" You b.i.t.c.h (not sure if Nextdoor will allow me to post exactly everything that he said). Kicked his leg in the direction of the office door where the 3 employees were sitting around inside. And then that customer got back in line, suddenly walked away & out of the store with two full baskets of stuff without paying.

I am disgusted with dollars tree and their process. It is 2023 and they are beyond behind in times. I placed an order online for my dad 60th Birthday party 94 wine glasses. When I ordered the glasses I was told my order would arrive at the store within 7-10 business days. A month later they arrived just for the order to be incomplete. I received only 24 glasses out of 94. The store was unable to assist. I called customer service and they were no help. I have to wait 1-2 days for my case to be reviewed just to see if I can be refunded and if I can be refunded it will take another 5-7 days. This process is RIDICULOUS!!! The customer should not be held accountable for your negligence. I'm pissed b/c now I have to drive around town looking for 72 wine glasses. IM TELLING EVERYONE TO NEVER ORDER ONLINE FROM DOLLAR TREE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO THROUGH THE HAASLE OF NOT GETTING WHAT YOU ORDERED TIMELY!!!

I am posting my concerns about your store in Forest Hill Texas. It is dirty and the employees were sitting around. The store is empty there were no paper goods out, no cleaning supplies stocked.. I was shocked because management was not concerned about the store. It is a very convenient store but has gone down. Please help us as the economy is at an all time high. Thank you for listening.

A woman named Romelia helped me find what I was looking for and also checked me out. She was very helpful and polite! How nice it was to see an employee who was actually pleasant and nice! I visited this store on June 17, 2023 and will be going back.

Yesterday I was at store number 3558 in White Lake, Michigan. I was telling the cashier how grateful I am that this store is near where I live and how many times this Dollar Tree has helped me in a jam. I have been able to run in there 15 minutes before closing time to grab a forgotten ingredient for a recipe or a last minute birthday card.

The store is always well stocked and orderly. One of the things that I really appreciate about this particular store is the cleanliness. The employees are friendly.
GREAT JOB DOLLAR TREE #3558!

I have worked for many companies in my life and managers. The best manager by far was Robin Petree, Reno Nevada. Her continued professionalism in the workplace was astounding. I work at a different company currently and I constantly think if it was run by Robin Petree that sales would be better, customer approval would be higher and employee happiness would be to the point of keeping the turnover low. Once again Robin Petree is a fantastic store manager. Reno Nevada 89503 Jarrett Pitts

10+++++ I Shop at many Dollar Tree Stores in the Buffalo/Niagara area for my business. I threw Dollar Tree into my Google maps to see if one was near by a location that I'm not normally in. I came avrossStoe# 4284 3842 Harlem Rd Suite 12 Cheektowaga NY 14215-1935.
OMG ... I couldn't believe my eyes! The store not only was so clean but all of the shelves were fronted neatly and no need for searching for any items! There was a man working on the floor, come to find out from the cashier that he is the store manager,José. That man deserves to be recognized. My husband and I own a convenience store and keeping up with day to day cleanliness and finding good help is a task ALL businesses are having trouble with. Dollar Tree needs to recognize the employees you have that are as top notch as this man! Hats off to him and my plan for shopping at Dollar Tree stores will hopefully lend me in this direction vs the others I have been shopping at. Please recognize this man for his work and work ethic!

Went to the Dollar Tree near Great Northern in North Olmsted ohio. Was helped by the nicest sales person named Doug, turned out he is manager of the store. He helped me out with all my requests. He also rang up my purchases. The one item I wanted that wasn't in stock, he said he would look for when the truck came in on Thursday. This store is not close to my house but I would definitely make the trip to this store because of his kindness.

I was a customer at Dollar Tree in Norristown, PA on Main Street. I have been going in there since they opened. It's a great store but nothing threw me over the top to write a review till this week when I went in and the new girl was just so polite happy and boy did she know where I could find some items. I was in a rush and she was quick to help . I went in later in the week and again to the rescue there she was. I asked her here name and she said Elie. I told her I was going to write a review and she probably thought it was a lie. So , this is for you Elie....keep up the good work!

LADONNA at Dollar Tree in Vernon Hills Illinois went out of her way for me to find a lint roller. Can't ever remember anyone in a store doing that for me! She's absolutely WONDERFUL! Please tell corporate! Such a sweet lady!!!

Disappointed to see the prices increased. With high gas prices it makes more sense to shop under one roof that carries everything instead of driving around , sticking to Walmart. Dollar Tree prices are now comparable or exceed the cost of items found at Walmart but the quality at Walmart far exceeds DT , so makes no sense to drive to DT to buy iteams that can be found at Walmart ot Dollar General for the nsame price.

Today I shopped in dollar tree in greenacres Florida and noticed that an employee named Pedro was working there. In the past I watched Pedro work at 3 or 4 other dollar tree stores. I was so happy to see Pedro there being Pedro was always helpful and polite no matter who h store or what time of day it was. I've noticed each store he worked in was way more organized when he worked there. I dont know if it was due to him alone or if he had other workers with him but I always saw him give 100% with a smile. I have never seen that before with any other employees at dollar tree. He is such an asset and a gentleman and ma k es shopping there more pleasurable. I will drive a few extra miles for better customer service. Just wanted to say thank you to Pedro and anyone else that may have been working behind him the past few years cause I would rather shop wherever he is working . Thanks Pedro for making my day pleasant

I work for store #4220 however I know by federal law if you walk out of a job you are then deem by that company unrehireable, however the new manager at my store walked out of his old store in Smelterville,ID and I do not appreciate how my scheduling has been handled and if he can't talk to his employees properly and learn how our store work example he had told a customer we can't put a specific amount anf then have them run yhe card however we can and do, this needs to be fixed the proper way and hire a new manager who will actually talk yo his or her employees and meet with each of us to get to know his or her store and employees.

I have worked in retail like this gor over a yr at Walmart and should be getting paid more than 15.75 an hr because I have the experience, I treat my customers with respect and dignity as well.

I expect something to be done otherwise I'll be taking this to a high authority.

Worked for over 3 years..never got meal break or breaks. Was required to punch out but as ASM was not allowed to leave premises and was required to work through my breaks. Manager edit time sheet in order to make payroll plan. Was told to use pto to get paid for hours I worked. Never allowed to building always did not have extra staff. Worked mostly nights. Had to Stat so other associates was alone. Punched out so there was no overtime. Managers kept editing my time sheet in payroll. Had to work all holidays. Had my annual incentive removed so for the months starting in September and taken away in January. Many associates lost their incentives. One assoviate has been there 10 years and still makes the same as new employees

I want to know why that when I got hired and filled out paperwork for my federal withholdings, that information was NOT entered into your system. I live in housing and I'm a single mother and I have to come up with 2 years of back federal with holdings for the IRS. I'm calling a lawyer and I'm going to sui dollar tree for this money. I've never worked in such a screwball place as this. Your store manager is a drug addict, nobody knows how to behave towards each other and use the public like they are trash. I'm so nervous about how I'm going to pay this back. You people don't care about anyone or anything unless you are getting something over on them. How dare they do something like this and I'm sure they will say it was an accident but I'm 100 percent positive I spoke with and wrote down 1 dependant. So where is it ?

I'm a dollar tree employee and have been for 5 and half years now and I'm currently going through hard times in which I had to apply for the employee emergency relief fund cuz I became homeless in June, still am,my Fiancee car blew up and caught fire while I was driving on the freeway. So I'm struggling to get by daily, can't afford to get a place or car to get me back and forth to work when I'm scheduled and can't find any resources to help me but even though I'm going through hard times I managed to get promoted to a assistant manager. This is the worst I've been in a long time and when I found out dollar tree offers a program to help their employees in an emergency I was thrilled but I was wrong cuz all they've done is give me nothing but problems, making me feel discouraged and worthless as an employee with dollar tree instead of helping me. I know I qualify for the fund but I don't understand why they won't approve the grant

Posted by MK at 1524 E. Joppa RD. Dollar T

My name is Dazharia Jones. I'm better known as MK. I work at 1524 E Joppa RD at Dollar Tree right next to the Guitar Center Store. I've been working there for a little over 2 years now and i have experienced so much disrespect and disgusting management employees within that time. My current store manager, Mrs. Delvina and my current district manager, Mrs. Liz, both have failed to perform their duties in regards to both the conditions of the store as well as the way employees are treated. Mind you, the store i work at is a corporate store. It's one of the biggest if not the biggest Dollar Tree stores within that area. Our store constantly looks a mess. The bathrooms are barely clean. Most times they aren't operational as i have to keep going next door to use the ladies room. Both Liz and Delvina constantly tamper with our schedules, often changing them at the last minute even after they've been printed. The schedules are supposed to be out every Wednesday yet instead they come out every Saturday. Mind you that Sunday starts the new week. I as well as several other employees have spoken out about this but they refuse to listen and make the necessary changes. We are losing people faster than we can keep people. This includes assistant managers, cashiers, and stocking teams. We've had to close at 6:00 p.m. due to us being so short staffed and we recently just went back to regular hours. Employees who speak up about how we are treated are threatened with termination. They've even gone as far as making write ups without consent and have made false reports of employees threatening them. This happened to me as one of the former store managers by the name of Jacob made a false report, without my knowledge mind you, claiming that I threatened him. I've not threatened anyone since i've been working there. I'm a very hard working employee who takes alot of pride in my work and my job. The hard working people who genuinely care about that place end up quitting due to terrible management, many work and health hazards and so much more. I've contacted the regional manager, Tom Leshko, who sent my reports to Human Resources. I've also contacted cooperate. I've left messages and even gave my phone number. My email is [email protected]. There is no use in speaking with the DM about this issue anymore because she doesn't care about anything that we tell her. Our office is located in the front of the store and it is very low to the ground. Anyone, Goddess forbid, could get inside easily to cause any of us harm. That is another incident that almost happened that involved a temporary store manager by the name of Mrs. Rhonda. She caught a man stealing from the store to which he then later came back and tried to get into the office to harm her. I shut the office door and told him that i would call the police if he didn't leave. I've not seen that man since but the fact that it happened and they still have not made the necessary changes for us to feel safe is beyond appalling. Mind you, it's mainly women working there and we don't have any male protection. Most of our store cameras aren't operational. Our safety is another issue that i brought to Liz's attention but to no avail. We have people trying to attack our employees, try to get into the store after hours etc and still they don't care about our safety. Mind you again, that it's mostly women working there. We don't have any male protection nor any protection for that matter.

I retired from Dollar Tree dist 629 r31 store 02327 on Feb 27,2021 after 18 1/2 years.I was AM and over all enjoyed my time there, untell my last year or so there.Manager quit which left me and one other AM to cover store around oct to march or later acting as manager without manager pay not being paid for bank runs dm treated us badly which caused a hostile workplace.I reported it to the 800 number about her, within an hour got call from her and within a week was confronted by regional hr and her.I copied and kept emails she had sent to us.That was the last straw for me and my decision to plan my retiring. My problem now is i was told i would get my vacation pay when i quit,it is now june 27th,2021 and i still haven't got it. I've emailed dm several times and nothing. I have talked to state of nebraska which said i should of been paid on my last paycheck, did not happen. I am owed 187 hours vacation and i know i won't see bank run pay.I would really like this to be taken care of. Thank you.

Hello I am a current employee at the dollar tree store let me begin by saying I love my job I am a 48 year old woman I'm there a year in April the only time I've missed was once only because I had another job at the time and had gotten my days confused and besides that I recently didn't feel well so I left an hour before my shift ended with other co workers to cover me ... Now ever since I've started i volunteered to unload the truck every week and the only time I haven't done it is when I wasn't on the schedule for it now I don't mind being a cashier but I had asked my boss on several occasions since I unload truck and while I'm doing that I'm also training the new people who come and go and taking care of everything besides paper work so I asked if I could apply for management she had told me no because I was charged with a DUI in March of 2019 ... I understand that assistant managers need to run to the bank and I wouldn't have a problem with doing that my daughter is willing to transport me if need be, I can't see that being the reason either being that we have an assistant manager who is also without a license... I am a very good hard worker I don't believe in slacking I believe that if your Doing you work it is stealing and no matter how much the company makes and pays me I still believe I give 110% also I believe if I am able and willing to unload the truck every time it comes I should be able to stock shelves granted sometimes I'm not getting out what I should but there is no training for our new employees unless it's by the few of us co workers not by any of management . Most assistant managers claim it's not their job and don't get paid enough so I try my best to help our new employees and a lot of the times I'm running register and trying to stock shelves it's hectic at times when I'm the only cashier and management is my backup and I have no problem with cashiering but I'd also like a management position our boss rehired a former employee and she's rarely on cash register she's a stocker granted after she had quit she had lost her seniority so therefore I have seniority over her and when I asked why she's stalking and I'm unloading trucks and doing cashiering she refuses to unload the trucks and I don't think that's fair I'm willing to unload the trucks and stock the shelves I come to work everyday when I was late she had told me about it and I fixed that I'm not perfect but I believe I deserve a shot so if the DUI is the reason why I can't get a managerial job then I think I will have to move on because it's not fair for me to be able to unload a truck and have a girl 10 years younger than me stocking shelves while I'm doing cashiering when I should be stalking the shelves just a question if you have time to answer I would greatly appreciate it thank you for your time have a wonderful day

My nephew works at the dollar tree in Bayou la Batre Alabama . The store does not have a set schedule they make a schedule then change it without telling the employee . We drive 30mins to get to his job only to be told the schedule was changed an they tell him it's his job to know. Well how the hell is he supposed to know that it's been changed when he hasn't been to work since they have him his schedule ? It's a big deal when it interferes with our life we can't plan our days because of the unprofessional way they do things.

Ex employee of Dollar Tree, was fired from there after being off for 7 straight days. Customer waited until she was almost out the door, after checking her and her big grown Ass daughter out. She turned around and started calling me disrespectful and rude. She said my daughter has kidney problems and now she is hurting because I made her pick up a bag of potting soil. I was like look lady . Y you mad at me that your daughter, I don't no customers personal business and y come she didn't say excuse me if u don't mind can u pick that potting soil up 4 my daughter because she not surprise 2 lift up anything heavy, then I would've did it for. Y come she didn't pick it up her damn self. 7 days later I go to work and my fatale manager tells me that I 'am fired. Ok I already knew , because he went outside in the parking lot and told this lady to call corporate on me,because he wanted me gone. Guess ? I'am working at another Dollar Tree in another county. Some customers can be mean and nasty to some of the dollar tree cashiers and some of dollar tree employees can be rude and nasty to some of the consumers who come in the stores to spend there money. The only thing I wanted to say is this. I refused to be verbally abused by strangers on the day to day basis. P.S... To my Ex Manager the way you did what you did , to fire me was all good. Remember one thing. When u dig one hole, always dig to. What goes around comes around.'

The shelves are bare, boxes are stacked all over the floors! Only two cashiers working the registers ! When asked if they are hiring, the Manager stated they have no applications! The store is a total disgrace, please help!

I am an associate with Dollar Tree in Memphis Tennessee I have a concern about District supervisors not talking with the associates to see what's going on with in the stores the assistant managers I supposed to help the cashiers when the lines alone most of them just sit in the office and do nothing if the district supervisor will talk with the associates have a meeting with them and find out if we have any concerns as to how the store is ran we're supposed to work together what's the assistant managers and managers to make sure the stores run well but we do not have the right support as cashiers that we need the lines can be backed up and assistant managers and some time manager just sit in the office while one cashier is trying to keep up with lines sometime going down the the Isles sometime we as cashiers do not get out ten minute break but we get wrote up because we did not take a ten-minute break when it's really not our fault if this could be addressed and see what's causing this lack of teamwork and also the district supervisor will talk to the Associates in the stores to see if this problem can be rectified also with the store manager

I am commenting On the dollar tree in boyd county Ky,I am a former employee and the stuff that goes on at this store is ridiculous there are a couple employees that steal money all the time and the way they do it varies sometimes they do not ring items up and just pocket the money other times they just get in the register and take it.They have family and friends come in and get discounts paying little to nothing for a buggy full of merchandise. The main manager is such a joke the amount of favoritism that she shows to certain employees the same employees helping themselves to the money and she just looks the other way.It is just really bad how she treats her employees she makes fun of them,Talks about every one of them when they are not there and when they are there she is their best friend i do not think that a manager should cause trouble and cause animosity between their employees for your own personal enjoyment. And no i am not a discruntel employee i have moved on to a way better job i just do not think anyone should have to endure the things that i did and someone will step in and take a real look at what is going on at this store

I was briefly an employee this month and was not even given a full 30 day grace period as I was told from the first day I started.-Which my first day of very few was on 8/7/1016 at store #1856, address 1224 W. Pawnee Wichita, Ks 67217. I called Sat night to see when I would be scheduled for this week and told I wasn't scheduled for this week and to call the next Sun morning to talk to Salisha, the store manager. So I did that, and she told me no, I wasn't scheduled and by the way, she is letting me go, and when I asked why, she told me for no reason. That it was what she decided and it's not even the end of my so-called grace period. In fact, I have only worked there 6 times in only 2 weeks. I have given absolutely NO reason for her to terminate me. I haven't been late. I worked all my shifts with no complaints and even past my scheduled shifts as necessary. She has been very rude to me from the very start. Telling me, if she doesn't feel like I fit her team or schedule that she will can me after a so-called 30 day grace period. Her tone of voice and attitude made me feel very unwelcome, and very uncomfortable. She was unprofessional as far as training me to count my cash drawer, what projects to work on when no customers needed to be checked out. She has been very rude to customers. Spoke gossip of other employees on the sales floor with another assistant manager within earshot of customers. She would speak rude, and brash with me behind closed doors, but nice in front of customers. In no way have I knowingly offended her, nor have I disrespected her. Quite the opposite, in fact. She is communicates very poorly as to what she expects or wants done. I have always wanted to work for Dollar Tree, was happy to have that chance. But I'm disappointed, I feel that I was cheated out of that whole 'grace' period and not given the full opportunity to prove myself, nor get to know exactly how things are done. I've never missed a day. I bet she would've never even called to tell me she was letting me go if I hadn't called to check my schedule. I have no way to prove that she let me go because she didn't like me, but because she wouldn't even give me a reason for her to terminate my position as a sales associate, I'd have to assume it was discrimination. It's unfair. I am also disappointed that there really isn't anyone I can directly contact like the district manager to discuss this situation with or just to even leave a report, in case there are repeated problems with this particular store manager. What about the rights of your entry level employees? Are not any of them or their concerns important to you like a customer's would be? Your employees and their friends and families are your present and future potential customers as well. I will continue my search to see how I might reach the district manager or whomever this may concern. I would appreciate at least a response that it's been acknowledged, or it's going to be looked into.I hope you screen and do personality tests or such on your future managers for the sake of your own company. If anyone DOES take any interest to respond to my situation my email is [email protected] Thanks, have a good day.

I was in your store today and the 31w bypass in Bowling Green Kentucky I'm a manager at another store in the area and today in your store it was the worst customer service I've ever received in my life first there was a line all the way back to the middle of the store two cashiers myself and two other people walked out without purchasing our goods that was after I'd already waited in line for 15 minutes I had over $30 in purchases I won't be going back to the store

I would like to be able to speak to the district manager for the Troy, Alabama store. I am a new hire I do not understand when your given a schedule for work the manager calls and ask you not to come in due to store hours... I worked Friday from one till five thirty , ask about the schedule , there was not one for me and was told Kayla would call me, today went by to check on schedule and was told Kayla would call me.. I helped to set the Troy store up when new and find it to be a very unkept store really dirty. Customer service is not great when there is a long line and employes are chatting!!
