With 50 MBS speed, I can barely load any web pages. Mediacom has a monopoly in my area, unless you want 1.5 mb from Century Link... They over charge and we rarely get the bandwidth we are paying for. After the iowa 2020 derecho things have been worse. It's been a couple years and things haven't gotten better. After the derecho, we were getting lower than 1 mb download. It has improved to 5 mb download, but we still get charged for the 50. I hear we will soon get competition and I guarantee you 99% if Mediacom customers will switch. So long, and Thanks for all the fish.

I'm so sick and tired of MediaCom's lies. All this past Spring they blamed their issue on fiber optic cables being cut. Everything would work for awhile then go out. Oops. Another fiber optic cable was cut. Darn. Today they're blaming the annual, minor, solar flares for widespread problems around Chicago and NW Indiana. Hey, MediaCom have you ever heard of NOAA? Yesterday the technician that came out was told to tell me that the Entire national feed for All channels coming out of Chicago was having issues. Not true. In every instance they lie. It's never their fault. As someone who was in the Enterprise Network business before networks or internet was a thing, I have a pretty good idea of the real issue. They know that their time in the consumer market place will soon be over. Just like Ma Bell and land line phones. So why replace or update any hardware or software unless absolutely required. Keep expenses as low as possible. Keep raising prices as much as possible. Keep lying to appease customers. Keep raising "C" execs salary, until the the final death gasp comes. This has become the new American Way.

Sat here once again all day yesterday NO TECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your company has the worse reputation for customer service I ever seen! No communication just constant waiting. we are currently stuck with you clowns because we have no other choices, but the day will come when this neighborhood will have a choice and I guarantee you your company will be gone!!!!!!! I will be posting on of neighborhood website just to make sure I make as many people aware (most everyone already is) just how awful your customer service is. Thanks for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The managers need to be replaced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The latency constantly spikes throughout the day making it very difficult to work from home. I provided Mediacom with a trace report from my employer showing that latency is spiking through out the day. Nothing ever gets done, and Mediacom denies it even there issue. Comcast's is coming to town in Delaware and they will be losing a lot of business.

Shut my service off as I refused to pay
a $49.99 service call where the tech
had to replace a line outside my house
to a pole. Also had to replace modem
that was not good. Repeated no
service weekly and one for a whole
weekend but constantly deny there is a
problem!! Have pics of modem and
eero but they didn't care. Tech told
them there was no issues!!! Really?
Then told me I had to pay whole bill
including service call, reconnect fee
and 1st month of service again. That is
a huge NOPE! Come get your dam
equipment. Never ever going with
mediacom again! Will go without
internet

Continous intermittent outages for both CATV and internet. Customer service clueless and usually uninformed and unhelpful. If you have a choice go with someone else.

Today we had an appt which we made Sunday. Today is Friday. We've had no phone service for one week. So, no one showed up for our appt. We made numerous phone calls from our neighbors phone. Very frustrating and disappointing service for valued customers.

When directed to a secre line for advanced customer service I was required to sign up for a trial offer. NOt Appropriate! I should not have to pay even $1 for help!!

I have been a Mediacom customer since the 70's. I just got off the phone with a customer service rep because I was charged $2.00 PLUS $1.03 tax for an operator assisted phone call that I absolutely positively DID NOT make! The rep insisted that this is not possible even though I insisted it WAS! This is the second month in a row I have had a problem with my bill. I have basically been too lazy to switch companies but now that they have competition I will definitely consider it. It blows my mind that they would lose a customer over $3.00. Years ago we told them that are calls were being transferred to a cell phone of a customer who walked into our establishment. They said that was NOT possible. Even though we had at least 6 witnesses that it was happening, and our customer had to shut off his cell phone for 2 days until we got it straightened out. Yet a Mediacom repairman said it was IMPOSSIBLE "unless Harry Potter was involved." Seriously, and other Mediacom people agreed. Unbelieveable!

Media comes customer service is horrible. I could not recommend that anyone Waste their money on purchasing media com services. My Internet has been out since the 8th they have told me 3 times they would have it fixed they have come out 2 of the 3 times and claim they have come out a 4th time and it is still not fixed and they can't come out and fix it today

DO NOT GET MEDIACOM SERVICE! I had their TV & internet service for approx. 4 years in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. We had guests in the house that somehow downloaded what Mediacom said was pirated, unpaid for material. The first time they suspended my internet service then notified me. When the 2nd occurance happened now 2 years later, they suspended them terminated my account. Mediacom did not allow me to plead my case. Then they told me the allegations provided by a third party they couldn't verify that they were even true!! Imagine that, guilty by non-verified accusations. The employees I did talk to were rude and treated me as if I was a criminal. I highly suggest anyone not do business with Mediacom!!

Why am I paying 250 a month for commercials at times it the TV show you're going 4 minutes and 40 seconds long commercials or 4 minutes long it's seven or eight commercials

On June 10th Mediacom customer service rep said that will take 169 off my bill.never told me I was denied..had four different techs come out .but never fixed the box..but they expect me to pay the bill.even though the boxes don't work..have to pay the bill for them to send another tech out..hadn't had service in awhile .even though I pay my bill..it's not nice..

Mediacom has the worst customer service ever. We paod for new services and they came out to troubleshoot so we had to wait more days for someone else to come out and set our wifi.

We live in lewes Delaware and ln a community with roughly 20 people offline for the past 10 hours due to an outage. We all have called and the agent on the phone will not escalate our issue until next Tuesday and my wife works from home. I am a supervisor with another cable company and have confirmed the outage. They will need a maintenance tech to repair it but the agent states that there isn't an outage. There is. We need help ASAP

Getting help on the phone. My wife and I could not understand what they were saying. They could speak English very fast but the accent made it sound distorted. We didn't want to insult the person or sound bigoted by asking for somebody who could speak English better. So we just gave up trying and asked for a tech to come to the house. A couple of hours later the problem just stopped so we canceled. Its a reoccurring problem where the screen gets dark

Paying $80 for 100mbps usually only receiving 1.1mbps or 900 kbps which is very low not enough to stream online games or HD videos ...Had about 12 technicians come out over the years still having same problems just a warning to others purchasing Mediacom service where they advertise fast speeds haven't had an constant high speed connection in a very long time

Horrible client relations. Can not get through to anyone and two corporate numbers that I have find and tried do not work. Customer service refuses to give the number and treats you very disrespectful on the phone including the supervisors. (Aaron ext.2137) is just one example of very poor customer relations. Looking for other providers as the prices are outrageous and service is 3 at best out of a possible 10 in my home.

My bill is high do to faulty information by a representative I was told my bill would be 50 dollars and my bill is 80 that's false information mediacom needs to fix this problem which they have not done

Hello yes i have been getting an extremely high bill just for internet services that does not work.most of the time and not just that ive been having services with them for over the past years and i had no idea that the dont offer unlimited services amd that it just a gimmick to this internet they say your chatge one thing but its something else im paying alone 100.00 a month or more just for internet services which is just ridiculous i need to soeak some one in the corporate office and some of the representatives have very un professional attitudes

So I paid my bill and my service was still interrupted when I called, they said I was lying, then a supervisor told me we will restore my service until Nov.21 (today) but then they turned my internet and cable off a week ago. When I called back and asked for a supervisor I was told a supervisor won't help or do anything for me, so I was left on hold for 30 mins and then hung up on. I'm not a happy customer, so I will be calling corporate today. Cause something needs to be done about the people who work for them and answer their phones.
