Harris Teeter is updating their website. It has been down for delivery for 5 days now. I don't see any difference it's going to make. As I viewed it now, I have to scroll all the way down the page to look at the items better on sale. That's normal. But then to change to the next category, I have to scroll all the way back up and pick a category without just going forward to the next page. Do you have any idea how time-consuming this is? I don't know what your webmaster was thinking? The only thing I could possibly see that you could improve would be to make available all the items in the store for delivery. Examples of not available for delivery, a jard Kraft spreadable cheese. Really? Jarred cheese is not available for delivery? Single serve cups of Goya rice pudding, not available for delivery. Why not? If you will deliver my hot rotisserie chicken breast and my frozen ice cream, then why won't you deliver these items? Tonight I had to go ahead and order from another store. I don't find any benefit in whoever is screwing up the website. Just recently you started making a veil ability for the shrimp cocktail with the saws for $5. I was shocked you did that. I just don't see your Rhyme or Reason I'm not making availability of most of your items, I mean like 98%, for delivery. You have a lot of competition here. All within A2 mile radius, you have all these, giant, Safeway, and many International markets. Oh and a Fresh Market within that 2 mi radius. And if we stretch a little bit more ways out, a Wegmans is coming into town. I really do hope you can do better, but I really don't see it. Thank you.

Just left Harris Teeter on Lawndale in Greensboro. Waited in line for 20 minutes. Then cashier needed an override. She asked 2x over the mike (which was working fine), there's 3 people behind customer service & nobody moves a muscle except to talk. I finally yelled "YO" to get somebody over there and then after she sashes over informs me that she's opening a new line. Excuse me....where gas she been in the past 20 minutes while I've been waiting in line. This is the most screwed up HT for customer service. I'm leaving it even though it's convenient. Management there has no clue what customer service means

An employee in the Chapelhill North was rude when I asked an employee in the pharmacy - he was the nearest one to me - how to use self check kiosk. He got mad and repeatedly said "I told you!" I just asked for the help to him to purchase avocados. I think you guys need to check the mental state of an employee.

We want the information below exposed. We have audio recording of admission to refusal of service and discrimination. We would love some assistance. Our constitutional rights were taken and they tried to entrap us.
Boycott Harris Teeter!!!!
#boycottharristeeter

Harris Teerter will NEVER have our business again! The manager in Laurel Maryland called the cops and treated my family like 3rd class citizens because we didn't have a face mask. Treated us worse then a shop lifter. Refused to provide masks and allow us to purchase our products. They also singled us out because of our vegan choices in our hands. Tried to claim we were breaking the law and that we were trespassing. Employees told me they could not give me a mask and that they would loss their jobs if they did so. The manager instructed the staff to lock the doors and keep us inside so the cops could arrest us but we were one step ahead of her rage. We instructed her that we just came up from North Carolina didn't have a face diaper mandate but she didn't care, she was fixed on making my shopping experience intolerable and impossible. Deactivated the self checkout and refused service. The level of hate for their customers is forever in my mind with this company. She treated me with malice and hate and refused to have a professional conversation. #HarrisTeerter #poorcustomerservice #refuselofbusiness #intrapment #maryland #angelatysoncockrell #discrimination #policyignored #DenialOfService
Please email [email protected] if you'd like to assist in exposing this truth

I am a customer new to Harris teeter as I live in Florida I've been in town for a few days and I've been frequently shopping at the same location near my hotel in Cary nc each time I've come this one person in particular not sure of her name but younger Caucasian female brown hair had offered the worst customer service ever she has a horrible attitude and should not be anywhere near customer service I spoke with a manager at closing and he was very disinterested in my complaint either way please be careful on who you employ as this frequency of disrespect had put a bad taste in my mouth for the entire store

Was so happy when they opened a new store in West Ashley SC I do all my shopping there. However the pharmacy is poorly ran, under staffed. Under stocked, they have to order your meds half the time. They keep closing their drive through because they are to busy. It's sad and it's clear they need help. I've had to move all my meds to another pharmacy.

After I finished my shopping, at the parking lot, another customer, Spanish speaking woman reached inside my car assaulted me while calling me "f....t" repeatedly. When I grabbed my phone and filmed her. She grabbed my hand and tried to take my phone. When I said that was an assault and I was calling 9-11, she violently reached again and stole my phone. I got out off car and yelled for help. A manager came out, but refused to listen to me when i said I was the victim. She discriminated me and took sites. She took my phone form the other person and refused to give my phone to me. She prevented me calling for 9-11 and leaving. Her higher manager came and I explained to him. He also refused to give my phone. Both managers said they were not going to give my phone. they were part of anti-gay assault. When I told him about the violations of my rights, the manager changed his tune and said the other manager was new and he was going to talk to her. I asked what about you, you have my phone and you did the same. I told him he was part of the assault and theft now. He then gave my phone. I showed my film that shows the attack clearly, he didn't even apologize. The police came and agreed it was an assault and theft and I was the victim. The woman was detained and the criminal charges were filed. I was told I had up to one year to file charges. The police report included Harris Teeter Managers. I gave them the benefit of doubt. When I came home, I called the store management. A Manager named Jennifer was completely rude so I called Corp Office. The agent said it was a more serious complaint and her supervisor had to call me back. The supervisor never called. I called again another agent Juel? answered and confirmed the info was there. I said I never got a call. I am given an option to file complaint but I gave the opportunity to discuss it first. What he said describes my experience with the management. "Ok then go ahead and file charges" So I will.

Please tell your older employees in Winston-Salem NC store on Robinhood/Meadowlark drive to STOP SHAMING ABOUT STUPID FUEL POINTS EVERY TIME I GO THROUGH THE LINE. I have made myself clear that I do not appreciate this and 2 of them continue to badger me. I'm so totally sick of it that I will drive 10 extra minutes not to have to listen to this incessant "what a waste of fuel points" finger pointing. Really. Publix is definitely an option for me so MAKE THEM STOP.

Ordered a birthday cake 3 to four days before I needed it and the cake was not as ordered. Huge dissapointment. There was plenty of time to make the cake as ordered. Not to mention, when I walked into the bakery a woman walked straight passed me without greeting me or anything, and then I guess a co worker told her to acknowledge me and she finally asked if I could be helped.

If Whole Foods and Costco can require shoppers to wear masks so should you. It is a matter of protecting not only your shoppers but your employees. I shop at the Isle of Palms store but mat have to switch to Whole Foods.

The Harris Teeter at Rosedale Shopping Center in Huntersville, NC, is not following safety guidelines. Most employees did not wear masks, nor were there directional arrows for flow of customers down aisles, and worse there are 2 entrances/exits with only and sometimes no one wiping carts.

I live in Maryland There are some problems that you need to be aware of at one of your stores in Maryland, The store is located at Fair Hill shopping center in Olney,Maryland, I live in olney for 25 years and when your store came to Olney I switch all my medicine prescription to your store and I continued to do business with store even though I move 25 miles away. For many months now the customer service in your pharmacy is gone way down hill and this is even before the virus that has affected the United States. I have prescription that I fill every month there. Lines are so long there at times one cashier one pharmacy on call and one person taken the prescription to be filled. You had 2 pharmacy people working there when you first open Abby and Gretchen they where great and you never had long lines at all like you do and customer are complaining and customers walking out.The Africa American Women you have working there is terable her and I have had words she doesn't care about the customer. I feel the management in that store is covering things up so Corp.is not where of. I went o fill prescription on the 13 of April to come to fine out the doctor for got to right down how many tablets I need for each prescription after waiting 20 min the to find out. Then the pharmacist went on break 2:45pm I though on the recording at the store they where to go on breaker earlier any way the person would not even call my doctor to get info it's same prescription that I get reviled every month. I was puss off and went to talk to the manager of store but know one was at the front desk so I left. I went to my doctor and had him fill the prescription out the right way and then I traveled back to Harris Teeter which from my doctors office is 35 miles back to your store in Olney. When I got there at 3:05 pm today and same young women help me as yesterday. Gave her the prescriptions to fill and 10 min later comes back tells me The pharacist went on break again. I traveled 35 miles to get here and again no prescription filled.i went to the front desk and requested to speak to the manager I was told that she was busy and she was on conference call. I have had with your store in Olney and I'm not the only one either believe me I will make sure that I put this on all of social media how bad that store is.im going to try one more time on Thursday and if I have the same problem again I'm taking this all to socail media

I am a cashier for Harris Teeter. A few days ago plexiglass was installed at our registers to protect us from contanaments of the Corona Virus. However the glass is to high and behind the computer screen which leaves us no protection. Please reconsider to lower the plexiglass in a spot that will protect us better.

Store #51, the meat department; the butcher refus d to cut a rump roast stating he won't be having rump roasts til October sometime. Well I will be going to Food Lion where service is a daily thing . I suggest anyone using Hanbury Road Harris Teeter in Chesapeake Virginia to keep driving around the corner and go on to Food Lion. Service is better and so are the prics.

I went to the customer service page and was not even given a chance to submit a complaint the way you have your website set up is misleading. The produce department at the Harris Teeter where we live is a shame. The fruit is expired. I am very disappointed. I will go back to Giant who actually cares about their produce but also about the customers experience.

My nearest store is on Davis Lake parkway in Charlotte north Carolina 28269.I love Harris teeter and quality and variety of merchandise. This location has horrific customer service. I have lived her 5 years and have been tolerating it because of the value and selection. I visit the store 5-7 days a week at all different times. The front end of the store is so mismanaged. You rarely get a smile or service from the employees. That's if you can even find an employee. The meat and seafood people are ghosts 90 percent of the time. I could write a list of what my poor customer service has been, but will not fit in this comment box. I strongly urge corporate do mystery shopping at this location to see where my awful experiences have occurred.

I realized moments ago that Harris Teeter carries FAIRLIFE DAIRY, a company that profits from the extreme abuse and torture of its animals. Until Harris Teeter pulls FAIRLIFE products from its shelves; I will no longer shop here. HT has been our main go to as we live 5 minutes away walking distance. I hope to one day again shop at your store.

Sincerely,

Amanda Bell, Wife/Mother

This Saturday evening, 13 April 2019, I was denied entry to carrboro Carr Mill HT on N Greensboro store 297 as I refused to surrender my backpack. I should be allowed to carry my backpack into the store. I was not offered a claim ticket just asked to leave it with a single employee working express checkout. This action demonstrates a distinct lack of trust on HT's part. This action is unacceptable

I made a mistake with an online order at the Harris Teeter store in Bethesda MD 20814, and followed the instructions to call the store to fix my order. But when I called at 8 pm ET, not one person working in the store knew how to use a computer to edit an online order. So I'm stuck. There should be a way to edit an online order to correct mistakes. I should be able to make the changes myself online and update the order for pick up.

My first Harris Teeter experience in Herndon repelled me from ever wanting to return to another one again. Very annoying loud acid rock music made trying to find produce prices impossible. there were no prices. when I asked the person who was stocking produce How much 3 items were that were not priced, he said take them to cashier and scan them. The assistant manager was very disgruntled to have to come out and find the prices for these items and took them to the service counter to print labels out... while waiting the toxic music rattled my nerves to where I just left and went to Moms Organics. I told the assistant manager that the acid rock music is making the store unbearable for me and she said "I get compliments on it" so basically If you dont like the music in Harris Teeter, you dont belong at Harris Teeter. So I will not be returning to a Harris Teeter and will choose stores with no music or a non-melodic instrumental background music

I've been trying for 2 months now to sign up for a Harris Teeter Vic Card with no progress. They must know that when you click on the vic card logo all you get on the next page is a banana. You cannot sign up on line and this website needs to be updated properly. The store employee told me I would have to sign up online but it doesn't work at all. Is this to keep people from signing up because if so it sure is working.

I just came from HTeeter in Suffolk VA...one cashier open...waiting in line 10 minutes..finally a cashier opens and she takes people who just come walking up instead of taking the next customer who has been waiting in the only lane open. After she checked that customer out, I told her she should have taken the next customer who has been waiting in the only lane open. She said nothing. Her name was Melissa. I told someone who was monitoring the self serve lanes. He just said sorry. Harris Teeter has gone down hill after the first two years they opened. They never have enough cashiers. The person at the customer service desk didn't even pay attention to the lines. I wish Whole Foods would take the place of Harris Teeter in Suffolk VA and in Portsmouth VA.
