I am thoroughly disgusted with your service. I have been a customer since 2012 and not once have my phone calls been returned, usually the calls are auto disconnects. I have been trying to get a copy of my first credit report when I joined and the 12-10-12 report. When I joined I received this notice from you, You membership gives you the confidence you need to look after your credit. We encourage you to log-in regularly to take full advantage of the benefits your membership has to offer, such as unlimited access to your Credit Report and Score Tracker. Notifications like this are an important part of your membership, and in helping you stay on top of your credit. Please honor it. , Respond by either emailing me the reports or call me at . I need these documents for legal purposes and really don't want to escalate this matter. I'm sure you will honor your obligation in accepting my payments. I expect to hear from you today. Thank you.

I applied for a credit report for me and my husband was charged $1.00 for each and then immediately sent an email to Experian to cancel the membership. I was charged $21.95 today on my account. Very aggravated have sent emails and not one response.

Absolutely the worst credit company you could possibly use. Experian claims to charge you after a 7 day trial but charges you after 6 - they count the few hours you register as a 'day' in that 7 days. Furthermore their customer service is rude and will not help to refund inaccurate charges. DO NOT USE EXPERIAN. There are plenty of customer service friendly credit reporting services out there - and this is NOT a good one!

Awful website and telephone responses. Even the first recorded message which was supposed to direct me to correct link kept cutting off without finishing the message or allowing me to follow through. I don't trust this company at all!

I utilized Turbo Tax to file my income tax returns. At the end of filing this year, I was presented with the option to get my credit score for $1, so I entered my credit card, expecting to be charged, $1. Instead, I was charged $21.95. When I call Experian customer support to request a refund, they kept repeating that I called after the 7 day trial period, so the amount is non-refundable. I kept telling her I didn't know I was charged the $21.95 until I got my bank statement, which was apparently 8 or 9 days after the trial period. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for about 15 min. When the manager came on, she quoted the same thing the customer service rep. said and advised me to send an email to I asked her why I had to wait 30 min. only to be given an email address. I emailed the address provided. It's been over 24 hours and I haven't received a response - not even an automated one!

This is by far the most frustrating site Ive used. Completing my details including my card details to be thrown out and tell me there is a problem with my account. Cant ever get through to their supposed customer service. Why is it so bloody hard to get a credit report from a famous credit reporting company??? These people should not be allowed to trade and if they attempt to take any money out of my account one serious lawsuit will be on their hands. I have the time and money and guarantee to do so!!

I Need To Cancel My Subscription To Experian Credit Tracker I Have Not Been Able To Reach A Live Person.please Respond

Posted by Anonymous

Experian customer service is absolutely horrible. I've tried nine different phone numbers to speak to a customer service and all I get is the same automated choices with no way to reach a live person. I was able to reach a live person with both Equifax and TransUnion but not with Experian.

i cannot reach a person online to speak regarding my account or lack there of! none of the automated information does not apply to me. I am not getting a score from Experian and need to try and get it fixed but it keeps requesting a number. also tried putting in social for a score and it tells me it cannot help me and disconnects. please call me and help, very frustrated!. I have sent two email few days ago and still no response from them either!!

Sneaky and deceptive practices! I was alerted by the fact that it’s easy to sign up for a trial and difficult to stop; ending a subscription online is not possible. Because of this, I called one day too late to cancel and was denied. The phone help was either ignorant or downright crooked. She kept saying ‘I don’t understand your question’! What is there about ‘please cancel my subscription and refund my money’ that is unclear? To make matters worse, she offered additional packages and possible discounts for the future! I emailed my concerns to Experian and they haven’t replied. One final note, my FICO report is not available!
I’m surprised that this company is in business. It’s ironic that such a crooked company keeps tabs on your credit!

called different numbers, attempt to email, NOTHING went through, and on the phone all that was available was automated, no live person to ask

I am very disappointed with this agency! Trusting the site, I obtained a “1 time” credit report for my husband and myself. $30.00 later I am told that apparently getting a one- time report also means we got signed up for a money-making scheme that I had to cancel within “30 days”. Again, note the word “trust” and they have lost mine. The call center certainly appears to be trained in handling irate consumers on this topic, clearly I wasn't the first to call to complain and request a refund (the answer was “no” by the way). They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this practice.

I am trying to cancel the 1.00 SUBSCRIPTION that you'll offer, that turns into 32.00 before you finally get your credit report. I did it for my boyfriend but I used my bank card that I don't keep money in a lot and if I can't cancel like you'll said I could , my account will keep overdrawing and I am homeless, so therefore I don't have the money to pay on a regular basis.

Terrible, marketing-ridden, and incredible hostile to navigate site. How on earth does this type of MAJOR credit system fall into the hands of such snake-thieves who are obviously only interested in making money off you?

Posted by Mariannah

FRAUD!!! None of their claims a re true - "Free Credit Report" for 19.99, and you have no way to cancel - have to get on a three way call with your credit card rep and Experian rep. And even after they cancel your account, there is no way of being sure they have actually cancelled. They always have reasons to claim that your cancellation request "did not go through", etc. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fraudulent charges for 5 years, they can not provide me with proof of me ever authorizing them to begin with, neither they are willing to reimburse. Have never used their reports, the e-mail address they have on my account (as the only means of communication between me and them) had been closed for years. Aren't they supposed to be concerned when their emails come back undelivered? Why? Of course not as long as they are able to charge your credit card.

Trying to lift a freeze on my file so that I can complete a credit application is exasperating. On the website I was asked for, and provided, some basic information intended to verify my identity. It was all correct and current, however, for whatever reason the request was denied and now I'm being asked to mail in some form in addition to 3 documents. Unbelievable! It was a breeze on the TransUnion site. This clusterf*ck of a company is holding up my credit application. I've tried to get out of their automated phone system hell without success. If there is a live person reachable by phone, I would be surprised. Government bureaucracy is more efficient and helpful than these losers!

I went to Experian.com for the sole purpose of getting social security information. No surprise that I would start getting all kinds of emails which I then put in the spam file. I was flabbergasted to see that 9 days later my credit card was charged $14.95. Only a VERY underhanded company AUTOMATICALLY charges everyone who visits their site UNLESS they specifically call and say they DON'T want a product.
Don't deal with companies like this!

No way of contacting anyone at Experian after pulling 3 way credit report from credit.com. I assume Experian expects me to pull thier report only to be able to get a number to contact them. unlike Trans-union and Eqi-fax. The one that reports me the worst you cant even contact ?

Unbelievable poor service! This agency has the nerve to track others credit ratings, what a joke! This agency must be run by our current white house committee members......

I tried to create an on line account with the social security administration and continually was locked out because it appeared someone else used my ss#. The soc sec rep I spoke with gave the phone number for Experian to see if I could get it sorted out....what a joke! None of the "options" applied to me and there was never an option to speak with a representative. Experian is absolutely worthless!!!!

The experience at Experian is You can not reach a service rep. You end up going in circles. All I want is an account missing on a credit report.
