I changed banks, so I wanted to delete my old bank account information from their system. There is no such "settings" option in the website. I spent over twenty minutes looking and the instructions I found online referenced options to select that do not exist. Thus, I called the customer service number. I had to go through multiple prompts for over twenty minutes to finally get a customer service representative and get her to delete the old banking information off my account. It was ridiculous. The endless loop of repetitive automatic prompts: Enter card number, enter phone number, speak address, speak name, enter card number again, enter phone number again... As soon as the rep comes on the line they ask for the exact same information again too. SERIOUSLY!

Closed acct. with chase after they put holds on my acct. claiming i was dead and told it was "clerical error" REALLY without DEATH CERTIFICATE HOW INSULTING CAN THEY BE

Opened up a new acct and transfered money from old bank. A week later tried to transfer more money from old bank to Chase. Chase claimed fraud activity. Chase froze my acct, froze my creditcards, did NOT notify me, froze my money. Would not return it to old bank. I can not pay bills! Had to go to a branch in person, prove I was me ( I had just done this when I opened the acct) give 2 more types of ID and prove that I had an acct at the old bank. Chase is out of control

Unhelpful customer service. He just said he can't help. No solution. No re-direction. Just "can't help".

Ridiculous. They have no clue what they are doing. Quit reading the script . Holds on little amounts with no explanation or a good reason why. No wonder so many BAD reviews. I asked for the deposit back and they refused. Cs not even in the US. I will be closing both accounts and going somewhere else WHEN THEY GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

Chase customer service for on- line transactions is terrible. I have been a Chase customer for well over 30 years. Chase's service has diminished to the point that it should be called customer disservice. I've just wasted well over 1.5 hours for chase. I'm actually on hold with one of their service departments now - I've been holding over 30 minutes.Their bank in person personnel are usually friendly and efficient. Their on-line personnel make you want to leave and never come back.

I made a Chase Business deposit on 11/19//2022 but inquired prior to doing so about how long the hold time would be because the check was a payment from a contract and I needed to pay my staff along with bills. I was given notice in writing that it would take 1 business day for some or all of the deposit to be made available. I was not too worried because I had cashed a Wells Fargo check a few days prior and it was only held for 1 day. I made the deposit but by Tuesday none of the funds was available. When I spoke to business services I was told that it would be available the next day. It is not available and I am overdrafted on my personal accounts and not able to pay my bills. The business services at Chase told me that Wells Fargo was holding the check but when I reached out to Wells Fargo they were not aware of any check being held. 7 days later and I am completely in a financial bind with my business credit card and still have none of the funds.

I went into the Chase Branch today and was in line where I heard 2 other Business owners making the same complaint. Please do not use Chase for your business if you want to keep it.

I have been banking with Chase for almost 20 years. I have a very bad experience with Chase bank today. Chase restricted my account and steal my money unreasonable. I have to spend a day to prove the check I deposited into my Chase account was not fraudulent check. The check was a PNC bank check and has been paid by PNC bank! Chase has no reason to suspect the check is fraudulent! The check was already cashed and honored by PNC 10 days ago. I have to take the business owner to Chase bank to prove the check is not fraudulent!!! Chase bank abuse their power to their own customers, they have no right to do this to their loyal customers! This is very bad! This may involve some sort of discrimination to certain group of people. I need report and investigate this matter.

THE WORST!

- It's terrible to get a hold of anybody with their automated system.

- The customer service rep we dealt with was difficult & condensending.

- They don't understand how to do their jobs. They had my husband hand write down all the wire instructions instead of simply sending them to his email address that they already have on file.

- My husband drove to a different state to pay off our account in person(cause their auto system is trash). They wouldn't take our money. They said we had to do a wire transfer.

- After we submitted the wire transfer they were difficult. Our home bank was even confused about what they wanted.

Overall this 'customer service' deal they have going on is a joke.

I have had several terrible experiences in the last few weeks with Chase, ranging from them rejecting a deposit of a check that the branch accepted for deposit and assured me would clear; to them promising to follow with an issue they could not address in-person and of course, never following up; to them taking 11 days to clear a check from another financial institution (not a personal check). I am actively moving my personal and business accounts to another bank. I've been with Chase for over 30 years, but something seems to have changed where they excel at customer non-service.

WORSTS BANK IN THE UNIVERSE!!! They just let hackers took all my money and calling them nearly everyday and filed a police report did not help. Every time you talk to them they just keep transfer you from department to department until you ran out time and got pissed off. all the lies and promises are never ending and when they run out of lies AFTER 9 months of investigation they decided not to give your money . I hope someone can really help all the victims from this HORRIBLE BANK!

Horrible customer service. Charged me $525 for a card and a offer to get 120000 points if I spent 6000. I didn't receive the card and they are not willing to oblige by the offer. It's a fraud bank and they just rob customers

Poor Customer care from CHASE BANK.
The representative did not know anything about the product, and the English was substandard and hard to understand. I think it was an Indian Chase agent.

Customer service since covid is HORRIBLE!!!
The private client is a joke!! Never can get anyone on the phone. The service in branches are horrible! Was told when one person never called back it was because " she was working from home " ( never got better as she was ticked off going in one day a week ) When you call service #,they pass you off to others.... Another issue previous, was supposed to take a couple of days ended up on the phone almost daily with corporate and it took 5 months!!
Only has gotten worse from there!!!! I started to pull my money out and put with Fidelity. So far they are a world of difference. BEST THING I DID!!!
When you go all the way to corporate and they don't give a xxxx, can't give someone a call back or respond at all, you know this is a badly run company.
AVOID to save your self trouble, aggravation, and hours of trying to get anything resolved.

Worst bank to deal with. Opened a new Total Checking account with nothing but problems from the start. First, it was a W-9 problem and I had to go back to the bank with another signed hard copy. Two weeks later they send me a letter requesting me to fill out another W-9. They are now closing my account after two months stating a check I electronically deposited was a fraudulent check because they could not verify the name and phone number. I went to the branch manager with the check explaining to him that this is from one of my tenants who has been with me for 12 years and owns over 40 franchise stores. This tenant has different corporate names for stores in North and South Carolina and if you call the phone number on the check they will verify that the company name that is on the check is part of their main company, but instead, they refused, saying they have their methods of check verification and the phone number doesn't match the name. All they would say is it is a fraudulent check and we are closing your account, but you won't get the existing money for at least 3 weeks. All they had to do was call the number and ask them about the check but they refused. For the last 12 years, I have deposited this franchisee's check in my PNC Bank account and my United Community Bank account with no questions or problems about the corporate name on the check. I only opened the Chase account because we moved and Chase Bank was nearby. Most banks would just put a hold on the check until it fully clears. Well, surprise my tenant just informed me the check cleared yet they are still canceling my account. I called Chase and was told they will reverse the check and still close the account. What kind of sense does this make? You would think they would welcome new business but from my 45 years of experience dealing with banks, Chase Bank does not care about their customers and is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with.

I don't know about other branches but the port Washington branch has the worst customer service I've ever seen, and I am a very good customer with no negative problems. Businesses all vye for my business my entire life yet this branch makes me feel like they don't want me to bank there at all. Ironically I was trying to open business accounts and deposit money , not withdraw anything when I had my problems with them. Utterly incompetent personal bankers, never follow instructions, don't answer emails, it's impossible to get someone on the telephone. I was complaining to a friend of mine about them and she surprised me by relaying she and her mother both had terrible experiences in this branch as well and they are very wealthy. . If you are going to bank at chase, use another branch. I went to Citibank up the block and received great service immediately. The only good thing about chase is their app, which is better than most other banks and the only reason I stay a customer.

I sent my daughter much needed money with Zelle and it was deposited into her account in a minute. HOWEVER!! Chase is processing it for 3 days!!! Why? They are deliberately holding the money that I sent to her!! This was for an emergency. Don't have an account with Chase if you need to send money for help, they won't get it for 3 to 5 days, I have sent money to US BANK, BANNER BANK and the money arrived and was available in less than 2 minutes after it was sent

Chase bank business account to discontinue the ACH service for which they charging a monthly fee. I have spend more than 5 hours over the phone they are keep on transferring to different department. Till now it is not resolved.

Horrible service! I was traveling, told the individual I was speaking with that I was traveling. She locked my account! I have closed my Chase account and strongly suggest YOU do the same!

This is the worst bank
ever for people of color!!!!! This happened at their Harlem Branch at 55 west 125th Street. Chase burned me for $5400 and took no responsibility for their inaction from online bank fraud!!! My acct address was changed They allowed a fraudulent address change and mailed a check for the balance, without contacting me. & the thief cashed this check. Why not hold this check for retrieval at the bank with proper identification????????!!!! They said it's not their policy! Someone on the inside knows how to work the system!!!
I contacted their branch and the office of Jamie Dimon & Armstrong Millamena to resolve this fiasco. The Executive office proceeded to sweep this under the rug; and 11 aggravating months later closed their investigation and left me holding the bag, even after proving that this was fraud. How convenient!!! By the way, I am a Black gay man...Go figure ..... #chasebankisracist

Incompetent, deceptive, scammers. Waited until a day before closing to tell me they couldn't approve a loan on a condo because the community construction was not 100% complete. This after paying them $500 application fee and getting all move related coordination done. Shouldn't this be a question posed day one? Has Chase ever done a condo mortgage before?
