Hello my name is Terrell I'm a Germantown Employee at Burger king on county line rd. I Don't know who to get in contact with regarding my problems with my mangers and shift mangers The way I'm being talked about after I leave work is totally not fair for my manger to tell my other co workers that they're working on getting me fired is not okay I been working here going on 2 months now it all started after "Donna" the manger had to tell me tuck my shirt in my pants I will be honest she have had to tell me that a couple times.but I don't believe I should be being talked to any kind of way or discussed with other employees when I'm gone since this incident my hours went from 28 to 13 if you guys where to put a tape recorder some where in their hidden you will find on what really goes on because with cameras you can see but cannot hear and that's what you really need to do is listen how they talk to people I don't feel like I should constantly be threaten by being fired when I know I'm a very hard worker.. the mangers show alot of favoritism to the employees that they like all I asked was to be treated with respect & talked to like any other employee everyday I go to work I'm uncomfortable because I know I work my hardest & they are doing.anything to fire me I never been late never had any bad complaints I come to work do my job and I still have problems Rick talks to me disrespectful like he's any better then me always being sarcastic instead of talking to me like how he talks to everyone else. Donna told me next time I come to work without my shirt tucked in she will not let me work for the whole day. Remind you I was already clocked out leaving work so why should my shirt be tucked in when I'm off the clock? Every time the drive thru and front line is clear everyone goes outside for cigarette brake but when I asked Alicia could I take a cigarette brake she says know and if I do shes getting me fired this is what she told me yesterday night. Why am I the only one being told in every situation they will get me Fired its not about me asking for a cigarette brake I could accept she said know but why did she have to say she will get me fired Instead of just saying know. This job is being very rude and unfair to me and I haven't did anything wrong besides forgetting to tuck my shirt in a few times I don't feel like I should be getting fired for that or Nobody should be holding it over my head.. people come to work late don't finish they job all the way go on smoke brakes Go in the back talk on the phone eat do whatever but this one mistake I've made have everyone telling me they're gonna get me fired can someone please give me a call or e-mail me I really need to talk to cooperate office

Burger king on Memphis Ave in Cleveland Ohio has manager there that treats the employees like crap. He has even threatened employees, screams at them, ect. Many complaints have been made to the general manager and nothing has been done. Trying to find the corporate number so hopefully someone from above can step in and calm this dude down. All because this manager has been with the company 20 yrs doesn't mean he is excluded from following the rules too.

I, an employee at Burger King in Greensboro NC, am having trouble contact the proper people for my concern. I do enjoy my job, however, the obvious disrespect between employer and employee as well as 2 crew members is beyond horrible. Name calling, embarrassment, and at times "raising your voice" is uncalled for. I also have an issue with the fact that pay wages are discussed between other crew members and managers DUE TO managers allowing other employees to go throught checkstuds or even announce the information to others
This is bending PRIVACY, SHOWING LACK OF RESPECT, as well as CREATING A CONFLICT ENVIRONMENT. As general managers the way to keep a team is not by exploiting crew members to other staff nor to.cause a scene when customers are around. Its bad enough to know your information os being discussed between "phone calls to employees and managers" but when this.information leaks in the store that is not healthy. I do not agree that i should have to relocate.or feel uncomfortable at work
I feel rules and policy should be reinforced. Especially to general managers and store managers being that they have the main access to information and they are held RESPONSIBLE for the satisfaction of the store as well as the employees and customers.

I was just transferee to the 68th st. BK in Michigan. I was working at the Franklin and division up until about a week ago. I keep having issues with management. I was being paid 7.65 now I only get 7.40, on my check it has me being paid for one week at 7.65 and the 2ND week 7.40. At Franklin one of.the employees doesnt wear gloves sometime, and they have favoritism issues. At 68th street we have a boss that us rude and non understanding of anything. I take the bus across town to get to work, and I work very hard, I keep having issues with burger king as a team member, I would like to see more concern for us team members, I as given a manager book to study but none to help answer my question.

I worked at one for a couple of months. They don't know how to train their employees. There wasn't even an orientation video nor a group orientation, for that matter. I got passed back and forth between management and non-management during my first few weeks on the job, until I was left alone. None of them knew where I was at in my training, at all. They didn't even know what I was trained to do and what I wasn't trained to do, because none of them communicated with each other, let alone kept track. Long story short, I had to ask questions most of the time or I didn't get the training I needed, which is an outrage. New hires should only have to ask questions if they are unclear about something that was in the training, want to make sure everything is in stock before responding to the customer's request, or need something that only management is allowed to get. All new hires should also be assigned a manager who will supervise them and teach them everything they need to know, before leaving them alone. Non-management should never be allowed to train new hires, especially those who have been around for a month. Less mistakes and misunderstandings would happen and the customer service would be much better, which means happier customers and more repeat service. Unfortunately, this one is still going in the opposite direction. In fact, the next new person received worse training than me. She was only taught a few things before being left alone. That was not a wise choice. Is this kind of thing occurring in all Burger Kings?

Hi, I am an employee at Burger King in Falmouth, MA. I get treated like dirt by some employees that work there, for example, today a customer came up to the register and told me that the bathroom smelled so bad and it needs to get cleaned. Well, I went and told my boss about it and he asked me to clean it. So I grabbed the bathroom cleaning supplies and went in to clean the bathroom. Well when I went in there the one stall was covered in poop, the wall floor and toilet. Well when I was in there cleaning, an employee walked in and started laughing at me. So when I was done, I asked my boss since this employee wants to come in and laugh at me then, maybe he should clean it up and he told me to be mature about it and clean it up. I was the mature one. instead of the employee laughing at me, he should have helped clean it up. things like that make me not want to work there anymore. Anynomous

The only comment I have is do not order food at night unless you ask for it to be cooked fresh. I recently quit due to having other management working with me that didn't care what the crew did at the Allison Park location and I can tell you for sure that they hold the food way too long. Shut the broiler down at 930 or 10 pm when they don't close until midnite and they reheat the fries. Gross, gross, gross

I I am an employee at the new Burger King store 18804. Are you aware of how unprofessional your store manager "Jennifer" is?She is very Rude and unprofessional!Yesterday Jan 11th around 8 am there was a confrontation.between her and an employee "Bethany" you should really take a look at your video of the store. What had happened was, Jennifer called Misty to the office and Bethany had made the comment " I need her help out here " and Jennifer SNAPPED! Went off on her Cussing at her and not only that the front cashier Barbra didn't know what to say to the customers upfront other than i am so sorry, Jennifer was dropping the "F" bomb like it was nothing, she was cussing this girl so loud that Angie was in the freezer came out and said what is going on! It was amazing that Bethany didn't raise her voice or even get smart back all she said was would you like for me to leave and that seemed to make Jennifer even more mad she continued to scream at this girl and cussing her and told her to leave, as Bethany was walking out the door Jennifer Screams out to her with customers out front " BY THE WAY YOU ARE "F"ing FIRED "!and after that was done with Misty tried to calm Jennifer down but ended up in them having a confrontation with Jennifer locking herself in the office screaming and cussing with Misty beating on the office window Screaming and cussing! This is the most unprofessional place i have ever worked in my 15 years of working! I have never seen a HIGHER up manager use such foul mouthed language in front of her employees and or customers.

I worked for BK in Mechanicsburg,Pa. for the past 3 weeks.I was hired full time to work from 6 a m -2 p m. Things were going fine until I had an asthma attack at work yesterday.I was forced to work and not allowed to leave or sit for more than a few minutes...then when we got busy for lunch,I was forced onto a register.I told my supervisor that I could not breathe and she said business had to come first.I was then(at the end of my shift) written up for supposedly raising my voice to her(which I do not recall doing, but if I did,it was out of panic over not being able to breathe!)...I was not allowed to respond in writing to the write up issued and was told if I did not sign it,I could not work again until I did. I went back in to work this morning, still having some breathing difficulty.I stood up for myself and said I had to leave early so that I could try to see my Doctor...at least call ASAP. At that point,I was FIRED!! I cannot believe it,as I was doing a good job according to my Supervisors, and was receiving lots of customer compliments! I do not want my job back because of how people are treated there, but I WILL call corporate next week. The Manager yesterday must have been a little scared about how I was treated while asthma was causing me breathing trouble...I was told that the Area Supervisor reviewed the tape and could tell I was very uncomfortable yet he allowed the write up to stand! These people pay next to nothing and want to treat employees like slaves and have no regard for their well being. I think I was fired because they now view me as a physical liability It is sickening and Corporate WILL hear about it.

I work at Burger King in Kingsport TN and its a really bad place to work. The Area Managers and Owner are Republicans who worship Fox News and they are racist and hate gays too. They and the managers treat people bad or treat their friends good and give only their friends raises. The district Manager punishes other managers who hang out with those they supervise yet he does it all the time. He even has sex with this ugly old manager with fake boobs and a big nose cause hes ugly and desperate. The people in Kingsport have no idea how nasty it is at Burger King. No one washes their hands and everyone does drugs right there in the Burger King.

i have been working at burger king for about three months now and i work extremely hard 70 hrs a week 5 days a week non stop and thats 5 days if i get a day off. When i was first hired i was told i would be working part time because i am a minor and go to school but once i started it seems that didnt really matter since they take advantage of us and make us work extremely hard and not enough for minimum wage. Not to mention our impatient rude customers. They cant understand the type of work that goes in to work there and so com[plain about things you cant control like them waiting a couple of minutes because they had a huge order. MY LAST TIME WORKING AT A FAST FOOD PLACE.

I have been with BK for almost three yrs, I have only recieved one evaluation, and at that time minimum wage went from 7.00 to 7.25,they told me that the minimum wage raise was my raise from bk. That is from the goverment not bk. and I have not had an eval since. We have people that haven't had a raise for three yrs. It's not right!

I work at a BK in Wv and it has to be the WORST place ever. Not only is the managment lazy but they encourage others to follow. We have drug addicts who use our bathrooms to shoot up and bums in the parking lot. It's unsafe for the employees. Plus we have the DUMBESt coustomers I have ever saw in my life. They act as though they have never been to a BK yet they are there daily.

I work at Burger King Cincinnati Ohio (8525).And I been there already, 3 years. My first time working fast food expierence I thought was hard and the people I worked with were on top of there game, until I started bumping heads with our G.M. She was relativly rude at times, And she showed aggression when it was always something wrong, or dealing with a customer. My thing is, people are supposed to work together and were supposed to make customers happy, and her throwing a temper tantrum of having a attitude problem makes us look bad. And I felt a lil out of place because If I supposed to represent a place I work and a manager isn't at all performing her job to the greatest of her ability then I feel the whole team fails as a whole. Since then. She done transferd to another BK, and we have a whole new management..Our New G.M., He is a good guy and I feel that, he will do whats right to bring new atmosphere to BK and make sure that we get what we deserve. As for the 2 lower managers , the Assistant Manager he is calm and cool and will listin to anyone who has complaints or issues dealing with situations..And the LAST MANAGER He is such a DORK..He's Young got to be about 22 or 23, and he is soo immature.

I work at the BK in Fallon NV and I have the worst GM that they could have picked for the job. Not only do we run out of things constantly, he is biased, unfair, and many think he is a racist. He has certain people on the schedule 5 days a week near 9 hour shifts then others with only 2 and 3 days and his response is "I know you're a hard worker but ehh it happens" only the cooks are aloud full time because "they are cooks" Our BK was much better with our old GM John. Our new boss is not only a terrible boss but quite frankly he is a terrible person as well.

i worked at burger king in north conway new hampshire.first off let me tell you i will never work there again! the assistant manager is a pervert hitting on every woman employee. he is the laziest manager ever always passing his job onto everyone else. the store manager cant handle the stress of the job always complaining about little stuff that doesnt matter and when he gets yelled at from the district manager he takes it out on the employees, making it a very hostile work enviorment. then not to mention they rehire people that sell drugs in the store and they know about it and dont do anything about it workers showing up hungover and or drunk they get special treatment hello?!!! you have willing people to do there jobs correctly and yet they dont care.certain shift managers bust there a$$es to get the store in tip top shape yet higher up morons and complains about little stuff whats wrong with that picture??

I was just reading the comments by the minor regarding not getting breaks, etc. I am 50+ and get the same treatment at a Burger King. It has gotten so bad that even customers are starting to make comments to management of what they are observing. Of course, customers have made comments in the past...and nothing has been done...it just keeps getting worse...now that younger customers are making the comments to management, maybe someone will take notice.

I work at Burger King currently and am a minor.

Their are very strict laws to employers about minors, such as breaks, treatment, and certain task.

All of these and more have been broken, They have not given me breaks before, or ended my break early which is fineable up to 11,0000.

Other fellow employees which are equal crew members, have yelled, made rude comments about my age, and many other things (two of the other employees are his daughters).

As I am a minor I cannot legally operate certain machinery such as cleaning the fryers, which reach 360 degrees, and my manger forced me to perform this task as well.

Aside form all this there have been many comments about me being a minor from my manager and fellow crew members. Which is discrimination.

My manger has also disciplined me infornt of the entire crew before as well, we had another minor once but he threatened her and she quiet.

This is my first job, and I really want to tell a high authority person but am afraid I will get yelled at by my manager or someone else what should I do?
