With the return policy being such as it is, I will neither be shopping at Savers nor making donations to this organization again. No dressing rooms, no refunds, not even exchanges, no thanks. And the return policy, if you can even call it that, isn't even clearly posted anywhere--that's probably the worst thing of all.

Heart Broken! I found a storage bench, girl wanted to sell it for $40 to me , I asked the guy outside to give me a price too and he said $6. The guy made me a tag and place sold on it, I went to pay and the girl said to pay her the $40. I put the item paid for in the car , the manager came out running saying I was not welcome in this store and recording. I went back inside and ask to speak to someone else so I could return it, she rolled her eyes and flipped her hand and told me to leave !!! I went to an old lady to ask for help to return it and the manager TASHA screamed to her to not help me, I told her I would speak to coorporate and she said okay to me returning it.

Prices are too much..Rampart Las vegas Savers common now,a book that has an original price of 6.99 being sold for the same price at this thrift store..and filty pillows for 5.99 and donated clothes worn out jacket for 29.99.. knick knack item like figurine for 9.99 overpriced, rude managers,.These are donated items..Thrift store is not an antiques store where items were bought to be sold, where they have a capital,so they can price like retail.Savers you are a thrift store, items were donated..You didnt shell out $$$ to buy what you sell..Chill on your pricing, you collect tax too..goodwill doesnt..Savers management should do better.

As others have said, since there aren't dressing rooms it's impossible to make informed decisions about what to buy. I rarely shop at savers for this reason, and when I do I buy a fraction of what I would have otherwise because the return policy is ridiculous. Who has ever heard of a seven day return policy

You don't have dressing rooms, so it's difficult to know if an item fits. The fact that you are forced to exchange items, the very day you return other items, is not good business. A customer should be given credit, to be used at a later date. After searching your store, I bought 2 pairs of pants, and a pair of shoes, and when I took them home, they didn't fit. I returned them the next week (your policy). If I was able to get credit, I could have returned later, when you might have something new to offer. I was just there the week before, and knew there was nothing else in the store that I wanted. I ended up buying things I didn't need, just to make the exchange. I won't buy clothes from you again. Please consider giving credit in the future.

I frequent Savers in Worcester, MA. When a message from the store to shoppers is being made over the loud speaker, it is always in Spanish! Why? It is never translated to English. That is unacceptable, as we are in the United State. The language spoken is English. I find it very offensive. It would be wise to address this matter. Thank you.

Savers in Framingham, Mass is totally disgusting and the absolute worst to shop at because of the filth, mess, horrible/rude employees and ridiculous overpriced garbage! The floors and bathrooms are always unsanitary and utterly nasty. There must be health violations there. The employees all look and act miserable and treat customers very poorly. The store is just a mess, full of overpriced broken trash. Target brand generic ornaments that were originally $9.99 last year were marked $14.99 and there were some missing! What!?! The store is so busted up even the radio in the store is constant static that apparently hasn't been fixed in forever. I checked out with some items the other day and as I was leaving, the angry short chubby woman with broken English in working the front stopped me to complain I didn't ring everything up because I didn't scan a mug when it was a set and the other mug clearly showed a price tag marked "x2" showing it was indeed a set. She was furious she was wrong so she started whipping through my items to see they were all paid for but then questioned the prices that THEY THEMSELVES TAGGED THEM! Unbelievable! I had done NOTHING wrong! In my disgust and anger, I ended up yelling back at her, grabbed my stuff and just left. I will NOT shop here as long as that nasty beast of woman is working there and until this place is cleaned up!

I have been going to this savers since I was a little girl. I had no shopping cart because I did not have that many items that I needed to use the restroom. When I went to the bathroom I had an employee follow me in, banging on my door calling me rude and selfish because I was trying clothes on in the bathroom. She invaded my privacy and sent Manager in to tell me that I need to not do that anymore. I never was trying on clothes in the bathroom since I understand that is against their code. I feel extremely uncomfortable going into a store knowing that an employee will follow me in there and accuse me of something I'm not doing. To fix this problem they should have their changing rooms back if this is an ongoing problem. I will NEVER be going back to the savers of Shawnee Mission Parkway again. I am disgusted...

you cheap f**cks, im never shopping at your stores again. no dressing rooms and no cash refunds is stupid. you are crooks.

Posted by Price gouging stealers!

Savers - absolutely Price gouging! Your stores should be reported and shutdown! The person behind the scenes putting labels has no idea...or he has been instructed to put price tags three times higher. I find empty plastic boxes like with dust for $4.99 label. Your offices should be reported. No more donations for you all my stuff will be going to goodwill and salvation army from now on. I will just donate trash to you guys- literally house trash!

I would much rather wait in line for a cashier who can fix problems and check me out than use a self-checkout and have to wait for an employee each time I have an issue (and there's ALWAYS an issue). I just walked out and left a full cart when I could not summon help the third time the system screwed up.

Posted by Stealers NOT Savers

Simply put - Bring the prices down to more affordable...so people in need can shop here. There is a reason why your store is named " savers". Please change to "stealers" .

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bought a pair of cold weather boots for my wife and was told I can return for credit if they don't fit, great no problem.......until I came in to return them. Manager on duty (at register) then informed me they were unable to credit my account and that I needed to exchange them. I informed her what the register person at time of sale told me and she looked at me like I was stupid and chuckled we don't do that. Ok then, I was irritated because I had already looked and they had nothing that would fit my wife, no problem I shop here at least twice a week so eventually I might find something even though the 2 week window for returns was close. I looked for a few other items I needed and brought them to the same manager for check out and asked her at that time "what happens if I can't find a pair of boots that fit her before the 2 week window closes?" Again she looked at me with stupor and said "oh we don't really pay attention to that". Hey great no problem then I am happy. I handed her the items I wanted to purchase at that time and THEN she grabbed the boots and receipt and started a refund/exchange process. I was totally confused at this point and asked "wait, I can return these and exchange for OTHER items?" and AGAIN she looked at me with stupor and said "UH, YEAH" like I was an idiot. I responded that she could have told me that before I shopped and she snapped back laughingly "well you didn't ask." Ok I am angry now and noticed she had typed in a return for a $20 pair of boots for $10 worth of items I was now purchasing. Then she said you gotta buy something else because the $10 difference is to much to refund. Oh my God I want to scream by now. I was DONE WITH HER at this point. Told her I didn't care I'm not coming back now any way. She looked at me in stupor and smiling saying she can only give me back $2 cash as change, and no credit. No problem, I didn't ask for money back. She just stood there looking at me in a stupor. I had had it, the stench of cigarette smoke that fills the air of that place from all of the uncleaned clothing and items was nauseating me at this point so I grabbed my items and told her to keep the $2 and walked away. The customer service is horrible, I mean, if you don't like helping people don't work a register. So unhelpful, so rude. Do yourself a favor and skip the Lakeshore location unless you wand something that is dirty and broken because that is what you are going to get. Plus you always leave with the bonus of stinking like stale cigarette smoke for the rest of your day. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. We won't be returning again. There are several cleaner and MUCH nicer and cleaner charity second hand stores within a mile of this hole.

I work for 2 nonprofits. When I make a purchase for either organization, the financial officers don't want us to pay sales tax due to our tax exempt status. At Savers I filled out the tax exempt form for both organizations at two different times. In my second attempt to fill out the form, the manager at the Eau Claire, Wisconsin store was incredibly rude. He accused me of fraud and would not believe I could work for 2 nonprofits. He claimed he was unable to process my form and needed "time". At this time, I do not see either organization continuing to patronize Savers. To check my credentials, my name is Jennifer Mally and I am a Director at Bethel Horizons in Dodgeville, WI and the Executive Director of Good Foundations International also registered in Wisconsin. Thank you.

We experienced discrimination from 2 workers. They abruptly grabbed our items at self checkout and questioned our character and made wrongful assumptions. Then had us "watched" like animals and in such close proximity that it was terribly uncomfortable. Total disregard too for covid guidelines. My friend anxiety spiked and she didn't want me to speak to a manager. We were so upset, angry, and disappointed. Terrible customer service. Please train your workers better. Discrimination is discrimination, there are no excuses, even if you deal with all kinds of people. Make this right. We donate and shop here frequently, part of the super savers club. Do better!!!

Savers really needs to rethink some things. The prices you charge for certain items that you were GIVEN FOR FREE are outrageous. So, we GIVE you our items for a measly 20% off coupon, you have gotten rid of all the good 50% off coupons (max of $10 now), no more dressing rooms, and now we also have to be our own cashiers! Your stores must be raking in the dough after all the purging everyone has been doing since the pandemic.

shopped Savers before the Super Savers Club even existed. Covid hit and All Hell broke loose in retail. When opening back up the Dressing rooms where removed and their prices hacked up to a ridiculous level. I Decided to retire at 63 and could no longer afford my spending habits. I would only shop on Senior Tuesdays because of the 30% off. On Tuesday Sept 20 I went to Savers and was shopping around for a good half an hour, even asked Deb (A Manager) about a price of toddler boots. I know Deb from being a LOYAL RRTURNONG CUSTOMER so I always try to find her with questions. As per usual she was kind and said show the cashier, He will look it up. So I did and continued My shopping about 20 later A Lady I have NEVER Seen before and another colleague I recognized asking prior questions before, said Mamm we are asking to leave Our Store. You were involved in a shoplifting and told to never come back, so You need to leave before we call the police". IN COMPLETE HORROR I TOLD THEM THEY HAVE ME CONFUSED EITH SOMEONE ELSE. "Mamm You need to leave NOW" I asked them to get Debbie, she knows Me as a frequent shopper, and I would NEVER OR HAVE NEVER SHOPPLIFTED IN MY LIFE" "We are calling the police, I said please do". The police came I told them My experience for the last hour, the other policeman came out with their story, and they said "I came in at closing last week and loaded up a bunch of items in a bag and ran out the door" First of all I am NEVER OUT AT NIGHT, IM ONLY IN THEIR STORE ON TUESDAY'S FOR SENIOR 30% DISCOUNT AND I CANT FREAKING RUNN AY 66 YEARS OF AGE! The police officer said Man I'm sorry about your situation, but this is a Private Property, and they have the right to ask you to leave. I said Do they have the right to WRONGLY ACCUSE ME OF STEALING? They said You are Banned from EVER GOING INTO THEIR ESTABLISHMENT. But I'm going to tell You, that You are NOT THE ONLY ELDER PERSON ACCUSED OF THIS AT THIS LOCATION, ITS HAPPENED TO OTHERS, SO DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH THIS INFO! But You Can not go back to this establishment. THANK YOU MIDVALE OFFICER WALTER I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ANY SAVERS ESTABLISHMENT ***EVER AGAIN*** This was The Midvale 38 W State Savers. . .
So to post it requires a star mine 1 Star

I was interrupted rudely by a savors employee on lake mead/ rampart..
I've been shopping at savors with my mother who's been a high school teacher for 18 yrs, and for myself I've been coaching sports at local high schools reason I stated this is because I'm not rich nor I'm broke.
There is a manager at this store described as heavy set African American lady whom always in the front watching what people are buying etc etc .
I lately been coming alone practically buying out the store with several diff items,on this day she approached me grabbing my items out my basket asking me whT am I gonna do with this and thT and this item and that item, I gave her a look like what's your problem? she said she's been going through it today with people like myself and she's checking everybody baskets.i was very upset so instead of me buying everything I just purchased a couple shirts and said u can put all this back I'm cool.
I watched from outside there was nobody baskets being checked, I don't understand how she could low ball me and who is people like myself? Please talk to your staff especially the heavy set one at rampart/lake mead, she's rude and unprofessional. You don't take items out of shoppers baskets and ask am I going to buy item by item..

I come to my local Savers DAILY and have been over the course of several YEARS. Today, I walked in with my boyfriend (normally I'm alone shopping), I stopped at the bathroom, and while I was washing my hands, a fully lucid, middle aged, RANDOM lady grabbed me by my hair. My hair is locked, but there is NOTHING that discredits a stranger touching or GRABBING me in the restroom. Not only this, I was later waiting for my BOYFRIEND to come out. (We're both mixed/of color and we dress dark as well- black, tattoos, chains, long hair, non-conservative) Anyways, I was seperating my pile of items from his. I was just about to put a lunchbag down in the cart with a shirt and a candle when a middle aged woman employee stopped herself at the foot of my cart, 2 ft away from my face, pulled the pieces of merchandise out of my hands and said "You should wait to do that after you leave." She refused to leave my side, but turned to laugh with her coworker, clearly making comments and then calling on the walkie. Now they're accusing me of stealing? I moved over another 15 ft before they made more noise. My boyfriend was confused as to why I was so suddenly ANGRY & wanted to leave my FAVORITE store. They had upgraded from one to THREE PEOPLE at the checkout, but now they were all facing and SOLELY watching ME and my BOYFRIEND'S every move as we checked our items. They questioned him and checked him TWICE and still checked his receipt, but their 6 eyeballs hadn't left out bodies the entire time. When I asked for a price check on the SAME lunchbox, they straight REFUSED to sell it to me, clearly stating, "there's no pricers here to price it." I've NEVER heard of that, as I've worked similar positions with similar companies, NOR faced that issue EVERY.SINGLE.OTHER.TIME.IVE.COME.HERE. Seeing as we were clearly stuck in a situation of appearance-based discrimination and ignorant white-suburban-mom bias judgement, I was completely infuriated and basically RAN out with my items (ALL PAID FOR BTW) and straight up cried. My favorite store in the gd world just turned into my worst nightmare.

I've been a Savers customer more than 20 yrs. I'm now a senior, and since they've raised the prices of DONATED FOR FREE TO THEM They are charging 9, 10 dollars for old used items. So being retired now I can only shop on Senior Tuesdays with a 30% off. So today I'm in the oh about half an hour and I was approved with "Mamm your going to have to leave the store. Excuse Me, (associate) last week you where asked to leave for shoplifting so you are not allowed in our store. WTF are you talking about. MAMM IVE NEVER SHOPLIFTED IN MY LIFE,YOU HAVE ME MISTAKEN BY SOMEONE ELSE.(Me)AND have Debbie come over here, she knows my character, Mamm if you don't stop yelling at Me and refuse to leave the store Were calling the police. Please do so because I have not stolen or shoplifter EVER. Needless to say I waited outside and 2 Police Officers came got my story, and there story and brought me my Bag that you have to take in, and "Mamm this is Private Property and they have the right to refuse you business, but I'll tell you right now, CALL CORPORATE, THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME AT THIS STORE THIS HAS HAPPENED! Unbelievable SHOP at The Midvale Utah SAVERS at your own risk, YOU TOO COULD BE ACCUSED IF BEING A THIEF @ 66 Years of age!!!

It is insane to me that a thrift store where the bulk of their items for sale is clothing and yet cannot try on and they won't let you return items if they don't fit. It is such a giant waste of time going there now, I won't bother ever again. I've found other stores slightly further away from me in Rhode Island that I can at least try clothes on to make sure they fit before purchasing like EVERY other store that sells clothes. I had been going for about 15 years before they took out the fitting rooms and changed their return policy, I will absolutely never go back.
