Why does Potbelly Customer Service not respond in a timely manner? It has been over a week when I made a complaint about a store that takes online order but is closed. There is no way to get a refund??

Hello I was in your Woodbridge, VA location on 12/10/2020. I ordered a chicken salad/salad, no tomatoes & add apples. Well the girl who was preparing told me the apples were not good in which I was fine with it. However, the salad that was prepared was disgusting! Some of the leaves on the lettuce was black and they told me that they would not have anything fresher until tomorrow. Do know this is unacceptable! They did not apologize or nothing. Needless to say, I did not pay for it.

I went to potbellies sandwich shop in Kettering Ohio for the first time today. Regrettably I didn't get a receipt put in the bag since they charged me without giving me the mac and cheese which I ordered. I faced some pretty unhappy children at home. A 20 minute drive is not worth going back.

We are in a hotel and we ordered through Door Dash. Soup, sandwich & chili from the Hyde park location. No spoons or forks are in the bag. We called the store and the very rude girl who answered the phone had to nerve to ask, Aren't you at home? Like that matters. Who delivers soup and chili without spoons. IT'S DELIVERY!The manager took the phone very quickly as I was fussing about her unacceptable behavior and said that they couldn't get back to us. Truly not the way you want to end your night when you have had such a hard week.

I was very disappointed today. I stopped at the store right near Union Station in Chicago. I planned on eating a sandwich on the train on my ride home.

I ordered the Prime Rib sandwich and I told the young man who waited on me how much I hated horseradish. I asked him to use ranch dressing instead and he said "ok".

I started eating my sandwich and all of a sudden - horseradish Ick.

There was nothing I could do about going back because the train had already pulled out of the station.

What a disappointment!!!

Yelp!
I left a Yelp review. I visited the shop on West Broad and Cox Road in Short Pump/Richmond Va.

Your employee Chris is a great asset, he is professional, knowledgeable, sincerely willing to get the customer exactly what they want! He upsells, recommends menu items and he has really cool customer service skills,
I'm an executive manager with 150 employees so trust me when I tell you he is great! I almost offered him a job at my Transportation company.
How we, the make and female working with him today absolutely do not have adequate customer service skills!
I hope you consider retraining them. The area your store is in has a lot of competition.

Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Harrisonburg, VA is being run by a group of middle schoolers who are more worried about non business information than anything else. The females there are absolutely ridiculous! For example they all leave another restaurant together with the manager to work at potbelly now their clique! Then go and put BAD reviews on their old restaurant site and say go to potbelly instead??? Come on that is so unprofessional! They dont use any safety techniques when it comes to themselves. And the worst, they talk about the other employees there for example one employee has a parent close to death and they think it's a joke. Disgusting in every way!

The Pot Belly in South Loop (off of Roosevelt rd) in Chicago is so dirty. The doors, the soda counter, with the tea strainer laying around getting exposed to more dirt. Boxes in hallway piled up very close to where customers have to sit. Employees talking loud bout personal issues & their appearance makes u lose ur appetite. I can't believe Pot Belly cant train managers how to keep up a restaurant, especially in the South Loop. Where do u get these pp.

Looked at Potbelly menu and decided not to give them my business. I didn't visit the restaurant in Short Pump VA store. Very limited menu. Disgraceful!

I took my Husband to the store in Grandville, MI for his first visit and we ended up walking out. It was Saturday 04/13 around 5pm. The female who started to take our order was so rude. She started arguing with us about the bread. I could not believe this staff member was actually arguing with me. It was to the point where I was freightened of her. She looked like she was going to become violent. My Husband said we need to leave this place. We told her never mind and started walking out. She was yelling at us as we walked out. I still have a hard time believing this happened. We went right next door to another sandwich shop and the what a difference. The staff was quick and helpful. We will never go back to Potbelly again in Grandville, MI. Something should be done about her.

I Just Had The Worst Experience At A potbelly located at 1459 W. Taylor in Chicago IL.... Was there two days in a row and the second day experience was worst then the day prior... Completely rude employees both days.... Had no idea what was in the powerhouse salad....i asked for chick peas and they said it would be extra.... Received a total of five... Then I explained they forgot the humas and she replied sometimes they include humas and sometimes they don't... It changes...

The attitude from all the employees is enough to me to never enter that store again... Very disappointed... I'm a big fan of potbelly store.... Just not that one.... Never again...

Had high hopes when Potbelly opened, have eaten at various locations weekly for many years, food usually good, shakes a great deal, like the diversity of staff, accumulated several hundred shares of company stock over this time...yesterday I experienced unfriendly, disengaged staff, tried to point it out to no avail (I was pushier than usual, not my best moment), so I left, ate sandwich in car and called the 312 customer service number...got recorded message, a really bad one... suggesting I could get in touch with them via social media...I left a message (no return call yet)
Discouraged investor who dumped my stock prior to yesterday's closing

Today I went to potbelly in the building where I work. I work at 900 n. Michigan. The bloomingdales building. I stopped coming in here because of the service and the way the sandwiches are made. I have worked in this building for three years for the office towers, just to give u a background. The service was amazing except for the Hispanic young lady who works there. I don't know her name but her hair is dyed a reddish brown with black roots. Not sure if she is a manager, team lead or what but she is very much extremely rude as hell. She rolls her eyes, she makes snide comments. Customers are very much aware of this. I used to work at McDonald's for 9 years before I started working in this building, so I am very much aware of customer service. She has no customer service skills what so ever. I think her name starts with a N. she needs to be re-trained..

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been in the hotel/restaurant business for over 20 years and have never experienced this type of poor management & staff. The ordering process, customer service, management and staff was below par. Demera was unpleasant and unprofessional. She has no business working with or in a public situation. I have the entire phone call recorded for proof of her manners and actions. Robert the manager on duty did not take control of the situation. Either she would not put him on the phone or he is just as much to blame. This would have been a first time experience and it will be the last. As you probably know, word of mouth can break a business and we are several people who will share our horrible experience. I will continue to call until I get an actual human on the phone and not the run around. Potbelly's gets a F- for customer service & overall experience. Shame on you for having these type of people work at your establishment!

First off I was very disappointed when I walked into this resturaunt to get turned away. The sign outside clearly states the hours for closing and the person in front of me was getting served. To my understanding if I'm in the building 15mins before closing I should be served. This is very irritating to me that I was turned away. I have never been to a place where I get turned down but I guess there's a first time for everything. I usually don't get frustrated about things but I had better expectations for this place.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE at my local potbelly sandwich shop. When I asked the cashier to make a milkshake (before I even ordered my sandwich!) she visibly rolled her eyes at me. Then when I went to take it, she told me "don't drop it 'cuz I'm damn sure not making another one" Who the hell says that?!?! very upset
