Petsmart in Rohnert Park Calif claims they are not accepting returns yet they are open for business...You can go in and buy items, but id something is briken they will not return your money.
I find this a bit odd. Why would the customer have to waste money?
Seems if they were actually worried about the covid 19, they would be closed.

Hi there I'm very upset I went to PetSmart and got a few this I went there and got 2 canary birds paid 129 each plues taxes came up to 300 and something with a 79.99 cage got home with them and they both were very sick they were sitting on the bottom of the cage I called the store and told them they said that it was from my place I told them everything they are in and earring is all from there store that everything is all new I had them at a vet and got them looked at and the vet said they are sick and look like they have been picking at Green hay that the store has in there cage that the birds can play with and the birds got some stuck in there tummys I left them over night at the vet and the next day they were gone they passed away from it because they could not eat this Green hay stuff was making them feel full and did not eat for a day or two I went back to the store with them and the papper work and they said it was me not from them I said I don't have Green hay in my cage you guys do and shows them and they told me ow well we can't do anything for you and this has not just been the first time this has happed to me with 5 angale fish and 10 guppys and 10 Molly's I got for my 6 year olds cage and they tanks are so foggy that with in a few days they all died and they say it's my tank not there's and it's a joke I have to drive all this way to deal with this two times to get riped off all I ever wanted was my replacement of my 2 canarys and my fish I got for my 6 year old that's it now I have a cage that's sitting in my living room empty and nothing in it and cost me $79.99

We went to Petsmart in bullhead city az. I saw a employe that later found out she was the manager I have been shopping there since it opened up. I asked her a question regarding a treat if they still have pig ears she was extremely unhelpful instead helping me find the treat she tells me it should be there so I finally found it.I saw a tag said if you buy a pig ears then you get a treat expires in may 3rd so I mentioned it to the cashier so asked the manager who was right next to her about the promotion she wouldn't even look at us and tell us the promotion she explains it to the cashier looks like she doesn't even want to be there.

Very rude manager. I told her about no one calling to tell me that my dog was ready. She tried to blame me, saying that maybe I gave them the wrong number ( I verified it when I dropped her off), that maybe I just didn't answer my phone (not true), or maybe the groomer had an emergency. ( in that case someone else should've called. The manager clearly didn't care.

They advertised Worlds Best cat litter at a good price, the problem is that I went to our local PetSmart and they were out. So I went home and ordered 4 bags with delivery. Payment was made, 4 days later I received an email that my order was cancelled.
When I wrote back to them complaining they offered me a 20% off coupon my next purchase. WHAT!
I don't want 20% off I wanted them to ship the cat litter to me as they promised when it was back in stock.
No reply but Petsmart did remove the record of sale from my profile.
Here's the thing; they are still advertising the cat litter!

GREENVILLE, SC PetSmart store has A store manager that changes store policy. I have returned things in the past that I bought with my debit card and have received cash for it. This manager "Haley" gave a customer ahead of me cash back on a return. But, when I went to return something that I paid with a debit card she refused to give me cash back. I'm going to hope it wasn't a racial thing!! First of all, the customer and I had to wait on her because she was on a private phone call. Not a good store, changing the policies for different customers is unethical.

Ww want to complain about the rude and poor service of short haired girl cashier at petsmart west valley.we love to shop there but that girl has an attitude problem.she always gives customers a poor service very unprofessional

I always have loved going to petsmart, but now I'm very unsatisfied. One of the workers at petsmart in Gallatin, swore on everything that this product AlgaeFix would clear the algae up and be safe for the fish. Nope. Immediately after using this, the next couple hours 2 of my fish were dead. I started taking water out and replacing it. Didn't save the rest of my fish. All dead this morning. $35 of fish gone and I'm so very sad.

Extremely unhappy I have been using PetSmart hotels for a long time and I book suites for my dog online. I booked for starting July 3 and when we arrived all suites were taken and was told there is a problem with the online reservations system. I had them call to see if I could take her to another Petsmart hotel with a suite none available the people on phone with our hotel suggested we find a vet at 8 pm to board her which is crazy. My dog is nervous and does not do well with a lot of noises which is why I always reserve the suite. The ladies knew when I came in and one said I knew one should have been saved for you. I had the choice of canceling my trip and losing money or leaving her in the 4x4 cage. Not sure if I will use Petsmart hotel again after this. We are worried about her. NEVER ISE THEIR ONLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM YOU MUST CALL THE SPECIFIC HOTEL which I was unaware of.

I had bought 2 aquarium heaters, same brand, and both stopped working in less than a year. Returned one without any problems. Tried to return the other one that stopped working and the woman just kept saying they can only return a different brand of heaters. Every time I said I've done it before, they woman kept cutting me off and saying they only return a certain brand. I finally got frustrated and said, I must be wrong, it must have been a different brand. I couldn't believe how unhelpful the woman was. I'm not sure if she was a manager or not. I didn't look at her name tag. But from what I've experienced and read, what she said wasn't PetSmart's policy.

Just thought I'd let you know I stop doing business with petsmart yesterday. I moved all my pet supply purchases to Amazon yesterday.

If you are remotely intrested in why, it's because your price match policy is a load of dog crap! "We can't price match Chewy's, (petsmart owned), they sell it by the case and we sell it individually. Haha" As I load 16 wrapped cases of Fancy Feast into my cart to purchase as usual. Oh we leave them wrapped because some customers liked to buy them that way." (No! Really!?) "We can't price match Walmart because they're not a competitor." (May I invite you to peruse Webster's dictionary under the definition of competitor.) Your price match policy is merely a ruse to make customers feel good, but don't actually try to use it.

I suppose you won't miss my business. You obviously didn't want to keep it. That's a shame because you have some good managers in Pearland & Sugarland, but not the store closest to my home.

Tell your district managers they are dangerously close to running you like AT&T. Stopped doing business with them 20 years ago, haven't regretted it a single day.

We bought a 125 gallon fish tank and stand today for $524.99 and the guy that helped my husband load it nicked the one sides of the tank didnt say anything got it home went to take it out and seen it . Not happy about it at all . We have to go back tomorrow for the stand .

Just went shopping at the Petsmart #0420 store. Cashier 580616 never says hi or thank you. I can't understand that. Retrain, retrain, retrain. It makes you not want to go there and spend your money. Thank you.

I purchased a puppy training course for my Rottweiler, because the seller in the store in Ponce PR, guaranteed that they will accommodate my needs due to my working irregular schedules. So far there is not such a accommodations, I been in the store couple of times asking when can I bring the dog and they never can do it on my time. I requested my money back bit they told that they do not refund the money, so what? Are they going to keep my money? almost $100, and I don't want them to refund the money to my card, just let me use my money in food or anything not to give it away to them just because...someone please respond

Hello, my name is Linda Petty. I took my dog Harper, a cockapoo ti be groomed. Well 20 mins after I dropped him off someone from the grooming department called me and said they were taking him to the emergency vet doctor because his ears were red and he became very upset. They said they were removing hair from his ears. Then the vet doctor called me ten minutes after that and said your dog is here and he has a black eye. I s Asus what do you mean. The groomer said his ears were red and he reacted bad to them removing hair from inside his ears. She said your dogs ears are fine but they bought him here for his eye. I was very upset because the groomer at Pet Smart didn't tell me the real reason they took him to the emergency vet doctor. The doctor told me Harper needed two medications. One for pain and one for infection. So the groomer picks Harper up from doctor. They call me and tell me Harper is back and do I want them to finish grooming him. I said he he okay, cause I dont understand what happened. The girl on the phone began talking about eyes drops and the bath tub. I said well what happened to his eye. They said they didn't know. I said well have the manager there because I need to understand what happened to Harper. When I got there the manager said Harper had a blood vessel burst in his eye. I said how did that happened??? They said they dont know. So the manager paid for the grooming bill. My Harper is off white in color so you can see the injury and he has to have medication for seven days. I'm very disappointed and confused. This Pet Smart is located in Commerce Michigan on Haggerty and 14 mile. Looking forward to your response and help in this situation. I didn't call the news in my city. Thank you . Linda Petty is my name and I am Harpers owner.

Returns are virtually not real. Boyfriend bought bearded dragon and took better care of it then they probably did in all honesty. As well as an expensive set up for him to live in, come to find out 25 days later he died and they will do nothing to compensate for the 60$ jip and grieving. 0 customer appreciation.

I got a 35 gallon tank for my fish 2 yrs ago or so. Can't remember date and time for warrantee. Tank leaked all over my living room floor. I took it back. No refund without a receipt. I've been going there since they opened the store with three to for pets and buy all my pet supplies from them too. Think I'll go to pratts

Bought a top paw dog crate it was missing a zip on door. Refused my return with my receipt. What happened to satisfaction and no hassel, customer is always right. I bought a 36 inch portable for my pups. Going to petco I guess.

The Moorestown NJ PetSmart went down hill in the last 5 to 6 months under new management. Wheres the old employees and managers that were there and cared about the customers and pets??? That store sucks now.

I will never go back to Pet Smart.It has been my favorite pet store for all my pet needs. Being a bird breeder, I normally purchased my birds, fancy bettas and all my supplies for my pets from your store. I recently went to exchange faulty filters and was told i could not replace these items. I want to exchange my 2 1 gallon fish tanks since the filters stop working on both and been 72 days and pay cash and no receipt they did not want to exchange them I was going to get a 5 gallon fish tanks in exchange now I'm stuck with 2 non working fish tanks.I went to the petsmart in Clovis CA
