SHINDIGZ and PARTY SUPPLIES WORLD is so much better than party city, please don't waste your money or your time with this company, they have no integrity nor do they have honor. They do not support the military either, keep that in mind! We have men and women overseas who are fighting for us and this company has no care in the world for them or their family.

Discount Mugs did what Party City could not. For people who are tired of loosing money from Party City, I wanted to let you know that there are other places to get much better products and extreme, friendlier customer service. Discount Mugs even has a return policy that they actually HONOR! Why waste your time, our lives are precious, stop wasting time with this company and go elsewhere.

i will never order anything again from party city. I couldnt even speak to a live person when i tried to call. My order was just over thirty days old, however, it was a christmas gift and i didnt know i was going to have to return it .. I would have done so if i could have. Now i am stuck with something I do not want and cannot use. You need to be a little more flexible with your return policy. Never again. I assure you of that.

Party City is a fraudulent company. Please do not waste your time or your money, because they do not honor refunds and/or exchanges as they say they do. The staff is incredibly rude. They hire people with no experience and no regard for the customers.

I returned the boxes of glasses that Party City sent me because they sent the wrong glasses that I paid for, they told me that they never received the boxes when they were received 11 days ago at Party City's warehouse. They would not refund me my money because they said they never received the product, but they did receive it and lied about it so they did not have to refund me for the wrong glasses that were sent. Dishonest company. Stole my money

Yeah, this company stole money from me. Would not refund me or exchange my product after they sold me the wrong online product. I returned the product and they kept my return and wouldn't refund or exchange. They stole $300 from me!!!!!
Just so you know, I am blasting this out every way that I can, you do not deserve to be in business. Nothing but thieves!!

Party city just really enjoys lying and stealing from their customers apparently. I am surprised no one has sued them yet. They took hundreds of dollars from me for an online purchase, sent me the wrong thing, then after I shipped it back per their invoice of returns within 7 days if there is something wrong, told me that they were sorry because they will not refund or exchange the product for what I had actually ordered. They told me that I shouldn't have bothered returning the item either because they do not honor refunds at all. So, they will not refund me the hundreds of dollars I spent, nor will they at least mail me the WRONG product back. That is called stealing.

I bought a table cloth at party city at the Whitestone location, it was too big for my table. They said it is not returnable because I opened it. However I have only opened the bottom of the bag, everything else is in the original shape. Need to be more flexible on their return policy. Now I have a table cloth cost me 7.99 which I have no use of it.

They lie and steal from people. This company is absolutely ridiculous. There is NO RETURN policy, whatsoever, it is a lie! They just take your money and DONOT care if they messed up your order. They also will not let you speak to a manager....this company is out of control !

I paid for personalized drinking glasses as a favor for my wedding. They sent the correct glasses with the incorrect message that I paid for to be put on those glasses. They got a few numbers backwards, I returned the glasses, of course, because they messed up my order. They pretty much laughed at me and told me they can not fix them nor can they refund me and that I shouldn't have bothered to return them because now I am out of money and the product all together. They have no respect, no integrity and no honesty. They are stealing from people and that is not right. This company needs to be shut down

I went to the Party City store at Southtown in Bloomington, MN just now to return a Christmas ugly sweater. I was told returns are not allowed 7 days before a holiday. If today is counted it IS 7 days. However, on Saturday we had heavy snow and on Sunday(yesterday) it was -19. All weather reports said to stay inside. I didn't even go to church as is my practice on Sunday. The manager was aloof and said, "Well, that's what it says on receipt." I would think exceptions could be made for extreme weather conditions. Please give me a call to discuss this matter. I tried to contact customer service by phone and wasn't successful. Thank you.

I had an upsetting event happen at one of your stores.
I waked in to return something and there was a very long line. I am disabled with a spinal condition. I had a cane. I saw am employee come to the registers. I explained I need help. ( I really became stuck and had to leave to my car to get a walker and leave the line do to my condition) she raised her voice and me and said, " I can't let you cut in line in front of all these people!" I truly need help and it wasn't out of her way to help me do to my disability. She was rude and cold. I told the manager after I was got to the front of the line. She was understanding and I asked from the employee to apologize to me. She repeated she can't let me cut! This girl is about 17 - 20 maybe. Does your store no have a policy to not help a person needing extra assistance? I promise I do not carry a cane to cut in lines. I became in a situation because I had no handicap parking as well. If this is not exceptable to corporate, please do something about this issue. I do know know her name but the manager knows. This happened yesterday.

I went to return a Christmas sweater today, December 14th, more than 10 days before Christmas. But because I did not have my receipt, I was told by staff that they could not look it up by the attached tag and my credit card. The guy literally asked what date did I purchase it and he would try to look it up by the date. Seriously!!!!! Upgrade your system!!!!

Just left Party City in Portsmouth VA, 4107 Portsmouth Blvd. Stood in line to check out my merchandise but only had one of 6 doilies that I needed. Cashier told me to go to the service desk and I could have it ordered and sent to my home. The cashier at the service desk told me I had to wait in line. I asked, what line since there was no line at the service desk. She instructed me to wait in the line I had just left. She then walked away and started helping the guy who was blowing up balloons. The first cashier came over and ordered the doilies I needed. There has got to be a better system or I was just discriminated against. Today is 12/3/2016. A Looking forward to hearing from you. The Party City in Fort Walton refused to refund a purchase I made before Halloween. I was told I could not return before Halloween. I tried to return today with receipt and was told I could not get my money back. I was misinformed and should have read the receipt. I will never go back.

Hoover store has terrible customer service. The employees are rude and have major attitude problems. There were several employees behind the registers and ALL of them blatantly ignored the six customers waiting in line to check out. Corporate needs to make a visit to this store and give better training to their employees or clean house.

I have been trying to talk to a representative I placed an order that comes with ballons I went to the stor and they wanted to charged to inflate them a dollar for each ballon that is a ripoff, if I go to the store and buy it there they do not charge I want to know where does it says that I am supposed to pay a dollar to inflate the cost me 7.98 and would have to pay 30 more. This event is for tomorrow sunday november 6, 2016

Party City has always been my go to place for party supplies until last night. My 70 year old mother called the store to verify that the had the super girl custome in stock which they said they did. She drove to party city in Virginia Beach on Independence Blvd to pick it up (the custome was for a party the following day). When she got it home she realized that the belt and shoe covers were missing. She called the store again to verify they had another with all the pieces. They informed her they did and that the new one had. It been opened yet. She then drove back to the store to exchange the item out. I was frustrated that when she mentioned getting a 10% discount she was told Party City did not do that. My mother had to waste gas and her time to exchange out an item that was sold to her with missing pieces. It is the responsibility of Party City that all pieces are in the package when items are resold after being returned. I can't believe that the philosophy of this well known company is buyer be ware. I would like to be able to trust you and if you are in the wrong somehow you will make it right, even if it is just 10% of the price of the item (which to be honest would not have even covered the gas for the trip back and forth). I look forward to hearing back from you.

I ordered a men's at 1:15pm est on Tuesday Oct 25th and paid for 2 day shipping to have it by my party on saturday. While their site said most orders placed by 3pm est are processed the same day mine was not processed until the morning of Thursday Oct 27. Due to the delay my was not scheduled to receive it until the following monday. Between Friday and Sunday I sent 2 emails to customer service. With no replied from them and it now being thursday i called them and they said that my package was lost somewhere between the wharehouse and UPS. The only thing they did right was give me a full refund without hesitation.

I am so upset with Party City! I decided to use you as my halloween costume supplier and all I can say is that I am extremely disappointed. I went to your Pelham location to purchase costumes for me and my fiance and while it may have been close to Halloween the selection of in stock costumes was very limited. To make matters worse half of the costumes that the wall said were in stock were not. We settled for something after a hour or so of trying to get something we'd love. The next day we both decided it wasn't really what we had in mind. We went to another location in White Plains to exchange them and all I can say is nightmare. Less organized more frustrating and just a bigger waste of time. Long story short is that we now have costumesome that we didn't even wear and a reason to no longer shop your stores. The manager was nasty and no help. Just an overall bad experience. You need more training and a better system.

Very disappointed drove almost a hundred miles to look at a Santa suit today got all the way down to Tampa and you don't even have anything out yet for Santa suits don't want to order online because we need to try on or look at it least I would think Party City would have them out all the time sometimes we have Christmas in July and we need Santa suits not very customer friendly
