I regularly purchase Tealight candles from the store. Presently the quality is not good as some candles are without the wick. Request the store to improve.

I am looking for some support with an issue involving the framing department. I was told yesTerday that it would cost me $95 for a mat not much bigger than a piece of paper. WOW! I could not believe what I was hearing. Then I was told I could get tHe same mat If I wanted to get he Whole package, new built frame, cut new glasss etc.. for only $15 dollars more. I did not need a new frame etc.... I just wanted to replace the yellow looking mat. I went ahead and went the new frame etc to get the mat. Today, not 18 hours later, I went back and said , No, I like my frame and I'm not going to be pressured into buying items I don't need just to get the mat. ( No one should be asked to buy a mat for $95.). I was refunded the money. Let me add I was ready to get something else framed but in good conscience could not do that. I went out of Michaels more than mad. My framed picture was all taken taken apart and I will have to put back together. I made two trips to Savannah to get a mat and get another pictUre framed and walked out of Michael"s with a sour taste in my mouth. I hope headquarters can look into this framing issue and make it right. Not only for me but those that come behInd me.

I came to the store to pick up an online order. I was hobbling on an air cast and tried to pull down a few of the high bins to find my package. A salesperson came running across the store yelling at me for "messing up her bins". All I had done was pick up a bag and put it back down. When I asked her to please lower her voice she became even more confrontational. When I finally found my purchase I grabbed it and started for the door. She yelled at me for my attitude and told me not to come back to her store. Honestly, it was the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced in my life. I did literally nothing except try and find a bag with my name on a tall shelf and ended up being yelled at and embarrassed in front of the the whole store. I will never go to a Michaels again.

The framing department could only tell me the custom framing discount ended yesterday. I'm a starving artist, so information about when the sale would be back on, or what other frames were on sale would've cinched the sale today.

As my boyfriends and I went shopping I was looking for one specific item which they do not carry any longer and all the prices just seemed so high so we were leaving to go check out joanns well I put ny basket back and walked out the store unsure of where my boyfriend had gone so I waited for him at the car. Turns out the ladies at the store had assumed I had stolen some items and were talking bad about me behind my back instead of coming abd talking to me. I will never waist another dollar at this store it is no good and everyone that works there is horrible just trying to find people taking from there store instead of letting people that are not have a pleasant time. Bad people run this store

I've had a horrible experience. The front desk people are NOT friendly. I went in with stomach and back pain. I was sent home still in pain. Two days later I saw my doc, I was in worse pain than the first time I went to ER. My doc sent me back to ER. Then I went to the front counter for computer work then sent back to the waiting room. Then they took me back and they took blood,and again sent to the waiting room. When I went the first time they decided I had gull stone and still sent me home. Finally they decided to take out my gull blatter out. I was in unnecessary pain for 2 days. Should have been taken care of the first time. I will not go back to St Michaels unless it is in an ambulance. I can't get a appointment with my doc and urgent care just sends you to ER. Something needs to be done. Where are we supposed to go. Unacceptable.

I am incredibly disappointed in Michaels as a company, especially with respect to the Canadian stores. I don't understand why our stores don't have the same stock as the US stores, also, when we do, the prices are jacked 3 times what they're charging in the US stores. If they have a special discount in the US stores, it's not applicable to the Canadian stores. You're the same company, please make it more equal between the two countries. I have shopped at Michaels for years but recently, I find myself shopping less and less and soon will not shop there again.

The Michaels in Easton Town Center Market In Columbus Ohio Is Terrible on There Same Day Delivery They Never Can connect To Get the People Who Are Doing The Same Day Delivery to come pick there orders up and it is always a excuse why they didn't get there same day delivery out to the customer no one showed up, the lights are out, wanting me to call door dash for an order I did not make with door Dash eye terrible I think they need there same day delivery system updated the only good thing is there is a Manager Name Ryan Who Will Get Info To you As He Get It & I believe it maybe hoe he is feeling that day but PLEASE UPDATE THERE SAME DAY DELIVERY SYSTEM ASAP RYAN WOULD APPRECIATE IT !!!

I placed an online order on Jan 5th 2022 and to this date Jan 13th 2022 my order says that it is still processing. So I call Michael's Customer Service and was on hold for 48 minutes before I finally hung up. I eventually got in touch with someone through the Live Chat after waiting for 28 minutes. The rep I finally got said that my order had been shipped already, that the system just isnt updating. That's a load of crap! Why dont have my order? and most importantly why havnt they charged my card yet? That's how that this order hasnt even been mailed. The rep I chatted with said that he would have to speak with their internal team and would back with me in 3 days for an answer. ARE you kidding????? This is just ridiculous!!! This has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I MEAN HORRIBLE!!! I will never do business with them ever again!

Got chased out of the Coeur d'Alene, Idaho store when I asked someone for help finding a product. She was training another employee and I tried to explain that I wouldn't have bothered her except I couldn't find anyone else. She was so rude and told me that they don't have department employees. I tried saying I understood and that I just needed to know if they had the item. I didn't even get a chance to finish before she interrupted me. I said that I would just shop elsewhere since she didn't want to help me and I dropped the basket on the floor. She started screaming at me, telling me to leave and "have a nice day." She followed me all the way to the door, yelling. So I went across the street to Joanne's where they were perfectly friendly and willing to help me find what I needed.

Went to Michaels in Redlands Ca on 10/30/21 . Did survey for 20 percent off purchase. When I went to cashier ( ALICE) , she rang me up and no discount was taken off, I asked her about it , she got here radio to talk to a manager, than she said it wasn't on sale items, so I told her it didn't say that on taking the survey. I told her that's ok Handing her the money and she just ignored us. Finally manger comes over , take care of the issue, and as we are leaving she says have a nice day , she was just being a smart ass, she needs to be in the back putting boxes away not dealing with customers. She was very rude (Alice).

Great product... AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Great product, awful customer service! I purchased this product on September 24th, shipping label was created on 9/27 with no movement on the package at all. I called customer service and they told me I needed to wait until 10/11 to request refund or replacement because the package "could" have been sent out. I called on 10/12 to have replaced since the package was not received and was told the package would be sent overnight only to receive the package on 10/18! Ridiculous .... Will not be purchasing from Michael's again! If I could give a 0 rating I would.

Your stores are horrible they are empty no halloween ever and online either doesn't ship or is out of stock the store I just left looks like it's having a going out of business sale that empty on everything and plz don't blame pandemic my local little joanns is stocked. No problems..

I've been to several Michael's stores before. But the Camelback Colonnade location-Petty high school mentality, management staff has poor work ethic, no professionalism and no diversity training. Specifically the GM - I think her name is Eryn seemed very condescending, and made very discriminating comments towards people in general with Learning Challenges and Disabilities by calling someone slow and Retarded including off duty. If you are a GM you should be leading by example, no being petty and disrespectful both on duty and off duty. Time to start training employees on Diversity and Inclusion.

This is my first written complaint ever about Michael's so I might as well mention both issues I have had recently.

First off, it's disturbing to see their workers smoking right out front. Gross walking through the clouds of smoke.

Second, I was checking out last week with an older man at the Southampton Pa., location. He had the nerve to "inform" me that I do not need to wear a mask. What a total jackass starting with me in the store. By his age, he really should know better to keep his mouth shut! Idiot

You are probably getting a LOT of this comment: I went into the Michaels store in Bellingham, WA earlier today to pick up a piece of my art work that I had framed. Michaels is the only venue I have used for my art for about 15 years now. But today, a young female associate stocking in an aisle told me to put my mask on. Politely, I told her no, I would not put my mask on because the CDC says I no longer have to. She said, "In this store you do have to, put your mask on. From that point, I ignored her. I did not put a mask on, and I went back and picked up my last piece of artwork that will ever be handled by Michaels. I know whoever made this cowardly decision was above the associates pay grade. Thats fine, I'm only one customer. In the art community I will tell my story. Others will follow suit. Shame on you Michales...

Michael's store in Bellingham, MA is the worst store I've ever shopped at. The manager Mike & Manager Amanda are rude. Don't follow policies. They make bows for favors for some but not for all. I suffer from RA and asked Amanda Store manager to make me a bow with ? ? ? Lemons on it, because I saw her making a bow for another customer. She told me she couldn't make me 1 but she was doing this other lady a favor. I said to her "you can do for her but, you can't make me 1. Customer starts complaining to me " I have a broken back" I explain i have RA and my fingers can't make 1 but I guess Michaels managers only make them for certain Customers. I walked away in awe and went to register with my items. I asked to speak to a manager immediately and cashier told me the girl making a bow was a manager. So I go home call corporate and explained what had just happen. Then I get this crazy screaming manager from Bellingham MA store calling me harrsaing me blaming me for 2x store complaints. I always loved going there but I'm totally done. After that call from manager telling me over the phone I was wrong for wanting a bow made for me I was wrong. Well Thank you Amanda for being a jerks I asked many times for a bow to be made for me and they said they don't do that. And seeing a manager making 1 for a customer. Cashier LIED to me and told me no one was there for me to talk to. But Mike was at the store when I asked to speak to him. I told corporate if that assbag manager ever calls ? me again im calling the police.

Entered a Michaels store in Frederick, Md on a Saturday night. Store was busy, no one to be found on floor, and one overwhelmed girl on register (she had Rapunzel hair). I wanted to buy a cricut machine but there was no one to ask to get machine for me. Store needs more helP!

I tried to return 2 items with no receipt and I was refused a return, claiming I needed a receipt. I asked for the manager who told me the same thing and said I needed to find my receipt or keep the items. She told me this was a new policy yet it states clearly right about her head all returns accepted I left rather as I felt I was getting too upset. Michaels is going down hill rapidly and is now being bought out. What will become of it now and all the gift cards everyone has???

Michaels's does not provide good customer service. They are incompetent when it comes to resolving an issue that they caused. I ordered lanterns for my wedding two weeks in advance and never received them by promised date. I talked with an Escalation manager regarding this matter and he promised that I would get my order in two days. Well guess WHAT??? I didn't.... I called again to discuss because my wedding was within two days and I needed them - I was transferred to Shawn, a Tier II representative and he was so rude and unconcern. I will never order from Michael's again and recommend that anyone else should not either. They're horrible! I see why they have a rating of 2.3 when it comes to customer service. Hire friendly and caring people and your ratings might go up.

Unable to contact anyone in any way based on chat, emails and phone numbers provided regarding a business purchase of gift cards. Terrible on line information, 800 number connects to an insurance sales pitch, chat line connects to 404 error page, email addresses are all "no reply"

I visited Michael's in W Melbourne Fl today 1/10/21 and asked for senior discount . The cashier said you need to fill out your info on line . Really ridiculous and petty .

Employees hang up on you 10 times when your trying to call in fir curbside. 3 times 3 different days my order said ready for pickup but had to go into the store and then stand and wait for 30 minutes for the order. My store in waco tx has seriously gone downhill. The employees are young kids that don't care and have no idea what good customer service is. What's the point of having curbside during a pandemic but still standing around people waiting 30plus minutes for a 1 item order? Ridiculous. Store need new management most definitely. I'm sure this complaint will go no where but at least its out there.

I went into store #5170 in MIission Viejo,CA to return an item (purchase on 11.07.2020) & purchase other items. I first went to the cashier to return the item. It was a container of glitter ($3.99). She received a message that the item could not be returned & to call 800.642.4235. She then called the manager about the return. The manager told her to tell me to call the 800 number & walked away. He never acknowledged me.

I stood @ the end of the row of cashiers & called the 800 number. The gentleman Michael, was very helpful. He tried to assist me but could not because the item was purchased in store. I then asked if he could call the manager for 5170. He put me on hold & informed me that he had spoken with the manager, who said he could not do anything. I then asked Michael for the corporate office phone number. He gave me the number & then transferred me to the corporate line. Michael was apologizing for not being able to assist me.

I then went back to the cashier & asked if she could return the item without scanning the receipt. She said she could try. She said the price was now $2.69. I told her that was fine. She said it will be for in store credit. I told her I will not be going into a Michaels again, so that would not work for me. She was helpful. I told her I will take care of this myself.

I was still on the phone waiting for the corporate to pick up. As I was driving Cobie from corporate answered. I explained what happened. He listened & apologized.
