Your coupons are misleading! It's says hood on ENTIRE PURCHASE and sale items! No mention that they r not good on Clearance! Even though they were on sale and part of my ENTIRE ORDER! Won't be scammed again!

WTH michaels,
you're commercial is causing me to never want to shopthere again. WHY when I'm listening to smooth Christmas jazz you're commercial comes on and nearly gives me hearing loss and wakes up my sleeping infant! It's ridiculous how much you have allowed the volume to increase and it is disturbing. Do you really think that is going to want people to shop there? We know you exist. How would you like it if someone came up to you in the street and started yelling at you to come into their store? It's the same feeling to have a commercial blast at a high volume in you're peaceful living room. Please consider a more advanced way to grab attention. Thank you.

I have not received an item under the shipment number 7300110656983225. It is a 5 oz tube of titanium white made by Golden Acrylic paint. I have tracked it and it seems to have not left the warehouse. Michaels had to delegate the order to another company. It seems my PayPal has already paid for it from my account. I purchased a flag shadowbox this week for my dad's flag upon his passing. The flag unfortunately would not fit in the shadowbox which we did not know until trying it today. I took the shadowbox back to the Michaels store in Bangor, Maine, and was told they would not accept it because it was opened. They would not even give me a store credit. There is nothing wrong with this item and could easily be resold. I am left with a flag shadowbox that I cannot use.
I do not recommend anyone shopping at Michael's store. This is not a good store policy as there was no way of knowing when the box was purchased.
A store credit would've been greatly appreciated and definitely used.

After leaving artwork for framing , I was given a date to pick up two weeks later( a lengthy time ) . I was to receive a phone call . Sept 27 to confirm . No call ! Sept 28 I called and was told it would be completed that day and I would receive a call. No call! Sept 30 I assume completion and drive 30 minutes to store. Still not done and I wait an hour .
As a footnote it was also very expensive! I won't be using your service again ! Helen Hunter

I placed an online order for 1 shirt...
I placed an online order for 1 shirt because the store I was at was out. Upon arrival I received an email saying my order was canceled. So me and my husband go into Michael's because it says they have 20 in stock.
Imagine we go in there and yes over 50 Atleast. I asked the cashier "what would be the reason for a same day pickup to be canceled?" She says if they are out only. This was yesterday 08/19/2023. They are lazy and counting money for the company and small businesses.

I always thought it proper to call a manager when a problem arises. This month of June the rainbow month; and I don't have issues with the rainbow but I do have concerns with a certain flag; the pedophile flag; yes, that's right there is certain group of homosexuals that thrills itself over children and I learned just recently they have a flag. In Warrington, Pa. at Michaels I saw what appeared to be just that. I'm a family man, I care for the children in my family and I don't support anyone or any business that would show any kind of representation; flag or otherwise. These products are inclusive of nothing more than the support of child abuse.
Talking with a female manager and expressing my concerns with what I saw as said flag, she became vile and intolerant saying get out, I tried to show her how I perceived this flag to be what I said it was, she became loud, get out she said or else I'll call the police. What kind of person is this; she defended this flag so desperately and literally ripped this flag from its stand and said Don't Touch. Well as you might have guessed she said she was a member of the LGBT and nested herself with all the rest of the acronyms. It became a shouting match inside the front of the store. Me saying I don't want to see a pedophile flag in the store and her screaming, get out. If she knew how to better handle herself, she could have just handed me an email and said contact the district manager or a corporate entity. Way to go Michaels.

I went to my local Michaels a few days ago (located at 4999 Houston Rd #200, Florence, KY 41042) and received extreme disrespect from the assistant manager that was on duty at the time. This employee, named Connie, not only disregarded my presence as a customer, but also refused me service due to her "being busy". If you think about buying from this location, don't. Their managers are rude. I also feel bad for the employees working at this location because I found out they get paid less than $10 an hour and they are extremely understaffed. I could not find employees while I was walking through this store except for rude Connie. If this review, somehow reaches the Michaels that I am talking about, good. Because they need to know how terrible their store is.

I sent my mobile phone no. in (they say you get 25% off purchases). I had tried to use it in the store and they told me I couldn't use it. Then I had to call Michaels to find out why I couldn't use it in the store. Was told I could only use it online. WHAT? Nowhere does it say use only online!! So, I removed my mobile no. I am really annoyed. I refuse to order anything online and have to pay those outrageous shipping fees for a few things. I suggest Michaels makes it clear you can only use that 25% ONLINE! Or, allow us to use it in the store too.

Walked into the Edgewood store. I never heard such foul language from a female And I've been around "I hate matha f*ck**s giving me (her) a bunch of poop F*ck them, blah blah towards another customer after they left! I can only imagine what she says about me and others! Well, meanwhile she can't find my account, the computer this and that, asking 3 people for prices so I moved to the next register. I HURT TRASH MOUTHS FEELINGS, you're in trouble with her! She is still F**k them, of course, the boss is away, I said to the young boy that probably means she wants to f**k them! (The customer that left) I don't see her as a lady at all so it was easy to say!
I get a call from that manager who I can't stand anyway and wants me to apologize! To who, you don't even know what I said and all he is worried about is losing another one - that's more important now anyway the foul mouth children, not the customer you leave standing around! The preacher wasn't even there! That trash mouth will be gone in 60 days you watch, She never had so much attention! The preacher says the Beaver( a real kiss ass or related) tells the preacher I said "Keep her around to F**k her! What I said under my breath was much worse but he couldn't wait to tattle:You have a real crew there now street corner gangsters and snitches working arm in arm! Your customers are just the opposite. We can stand her its the tattle tail going to get his ass kicked if he's not careful with a manager like that. wants me to apologize! (Maybe at the trial)or go into Time Out! If she wasn't such a trash mouth wouldn't have any problems! I know you are the only supply house around but I'll make out! She isn't finished, you are not busy yet! Can't wait to run into the customers she was referring to! I'd rather take my business elsewhere & tell the story to anybody that will listen than apologies to any of that circus!

I returned an item and the cashier claimed I could only have the refund in a gift card. She was having issues loading the gift card, so she called a manager. I went to use the gift card a month later and there was no money out of it. Customer service is now telling me they can't do anything about the $200+ on the gift card. I will NEVER shop here again.

Michael's customer service was terrible. I made an online purchased 8 wood cubes and corresponding shelves by Simply Tidy. When I received them, 9a out of 16 packages were damaged (really more, but damaged was minimal). I contacted Customer Service. They required I take pictures, create return labels for all the packages, tape the boxes shut and take to UPS. The bixes are extremely heavy. I did as they asked and it took a ling time for them to send me the new order. I received that order and they were damaged more than the first order. Again, pictures, labels, taping, and back to UPS. They wanted to send me a 3rd order. I however refused becuase the packing was really bad and you were guaranteed to get more damaged products. I asked Michaels to send the amount I needed to a store. They said they could not do that. Then I asked for 1/2 off what I could find in the local store, again the teaponse was they could not do that. We are talking a couple of hundred of dollars. In addition, they take forever to credit your account. Even the manager at the store said they normally treat customer better than their correspondence show they treated me. They just do not seem to care. I will be boycotting them and hope many more do. Their Customer Service is a laugh.

I went to Michael's in the Kentlands, Gaithersburg MD. Apparently after the nice gentleman at the register needed to bring up the manager bc I didn't have the receipt for the paints I got 2 months ago, The manager most certainly labeled me as trashy looking or Michael's really doesn't return things if you don't have a receipt. I needed to shop for my kids at school after but clearly felt so un pleased shopping there and on my way home. She specifically told me Michael's doesn't accept things back if you don't have a receipt anymore. Now I have this paint set that I don't have the leisure time right now to paint at home nor will feel good to paint with it right now. What do you want me to give this $100 paint set to my kids at school to use?! I was willing to loose money from it bc I didn't have receipt. So thank you so much Michael's for letting judgement upon your managers to clarify if this was stolen material or not. I can't think of anything else. I can't even think of anything else then your reputation as illegal and un trust worthy upon that you can even judge. I can't even rate the other nice staff bc I don't trust you anymore. Fake and scary. Don't fake that you don't know what you did. And by the way last time I was in there compared to now you guys even look trashy with your stuff.

Went into the Michaels in Hilllside , Illinois looking for Tealight candles spoke to someone that appeared to be part of Mgt.Asked a question " When will the tealights be in"? Was told " They come in when they come in" ....Wow I said to myself ...Couldnt believe i was talking from someone from Mgt .Then she thought about her respond after seeing my eyes ...because i had on a mask she didnt and she said " I havent seen them since Christmas maybe friday ...I just dont know" and walked away .I need someone from Corp to call me back on email me ..The behaviour of this Tall Blonde with the bad additude at 12:30 pm SUCKs

Worst store ever. They won't match online prices even though you can order curbside for the same price, it makes no sense. Instead they send you on a wild goose chase to order online for the price when they have it RIGHT THERE. Also their website sucks and doesn't work half the time. Also their call center was zero help and hung up right at the end of an order fix and never called me back. Done with this company!

I need to add this comment because I feel really disappointed on this store you see my 12 year old Daughter is an artist in the making and yes she love Michaels we live in Fresno Ca so on this past Christmas she got a Michaels gift card and wanted to go spend it so I took her to the store located on Blackstone the famous river park area wrong day wrong time 10 min after we entered the store a theft im progres came up yes a guy took some stuff and ran out the door to my surprise when the manager and another employee came back from chasing him the employee accused me of having something to do with it she assumed the guy was with me just because a minute before he had asked me I was an employee there to what I answered no and pointed to the employee who was in the next hile assuming he needed help with something after that episode I noticed the security guy following me and my daughter so I came and spoke more like yelled at the manager lady and All I got was an ok not even an apology for being accused of some kind of plot in front of my daughter,, yes I left really mad in disbelief and I am sure it was because I am MEXICAN yes racism is still strong out there and it is really sad that good people pay for bad peoples actions!! I think employees need more training specially that lady that assume the worst of me without any evidence I was even worried for their well-being while they where trying to stop the guy !! SHAME ON YOU LADY

Don't try and call, they don't answer. They just hang up. Michael's committed to completing a framing job 12/18 - their date not mine. Now 12/19 they don't answer the phone, customer service doesn't answer the phone, click to chat is horrifying at the lack of assistance or help, but don't you know Michael's happily took the $300 for the framing job and have now had it for three weeks. The associates mirror behavior from corporate. So surprised that they are still in business.

Went to Michael's in wausau today sign showed the (2)items were on sale for 9.99 yet was charged 14.99. I told the lady and she said whatever they came up as is what they . Yet she could plainly see the sign was 9.99. As soon as I left the store she came ND took the sign down. The sign sign good thru 12/24. Very unhappy of the way I was treated.

FIRST AND LAST ONLINE EXPERIENCE. Order consisted of samr day delivery with free shipping. received tree same day however the smaller items were broken up iinvolving two additional deliveries that added delivery charges that cost more then the items delivered. reaching out to customer care was pointless. THIS WILL PREVENT ME FROM SHOPPING AT THE BRICK AND MORTAR AS WELL!

I had three 40% off coupons that I was going to use to buy three 11x 14 simple white picture frames at the cost of $15.99 each. When cashing out they would not accept the coupons because they were "great value" and a very good price. I don't agree that simple white cheap wood frames that size are worth that price. The manager said it was a great price and would not accept the coupons. I was very upset. I did not make the purchase and will not return to Michael's.

Sheila, a cashier at Michaels Store located on S. Eastern Ave in Target shopping center, was most helpful this morning. I went to the store early this morning to purchase more scrapbook pages. I had no idea how to open the spine to add more. Sheila was most patient, kind and helpful. In between checking customers out, she helped. I had not "scrap-booked" before. Mission was accomplished so I left a happy customer.

The Airdrie Alberta framing department is amazing!
It has been a joy working with the staff there, getting opinions on different framing options, helping to create some perfect pieces! The staff of the entire store, actually, have excellent customer service skills, are knowledgeable about where I can find anything I need in the store, and are just generally a terrific group of people!

I placed an order on line and received the wrong item.It says it can be returned to any Michaels store so I called my local store in Flowood, Ms. The manager, Dusty, was super helpful. She went out of her way to assist me and try to make it right. While her store no longer carries the item I wanted she worked with me on a way to get the end results I wanted and should be commended for her effort!

I want to Thank the lady that found my car keys in the (many) Christmas floral bins. She has that store so organized that she spotted them unbelievable. She works at livonia store on middlebelt. We where there around 5:00. She was so kind, even left a note on my car...she went outside with my keys to locate my car then put the note on it. Very nice note.. I would like her to get some recognition. She politely said have a nice evening.

On 2/15/2021 I left Hobby Lobby because of the unfriendly, rude young woman behind their custom frame department. I was a waitress for over 40 years and I believe a smile and kindness goes a long way. As she waited on two customers before me I knew I would not be put through her attitude. Someone needs retrain her on customer service. Needless to say I left and took my business elsewhere. I then went down the way to Michaels on Foothill Bl. In Rancho Cucamonga,Ca. Behind that counter I met Adam. He was attentive, warm and professional . He treated my paint by number sentimental art piece like it was priceless! He gave me what is expected in customer service and more. So Hobby Lobby missed out on a 109.00 sale that day because of this girls no effort to be kind.So kudos to Adam, he made this old ladies day!

Excellent customer service from Devlyn and Melissa at the Mooresville NC store. They were out of a product that I called earlier to ensure they had and they went the extra mile to not only call other Michaels stores to locate the product but also had it delivered to a store close to me for my pickup. This service is certainly way above expectations for a store and its employees. They should be complimented by Michaels for such wonderful customer service.

I had one of the best customer service experiences today. I had ordered some yarn, Yarnspirations Pantone, however after finding out what a pain in the tush it was to undo and then winding the yarn up ((seriously, who has time for that?), so I needed to return. Oh No..... I had already shredded the return lables and only had my email confirmation. I called the 800# and spoke to the sweetest lady (her name was Naja, I hope thats close) she explained that she would have to transfer me to a different person. It must be my lucky day, I was introduced and spoke to Josh. Honest to God, he made everything so easy for me. Due to foot surgery I am unable to drive, so he is sending me new mailing lables. I knom what a call center work environment is like but Naja and Josh were OUTSTANDING Thank You

I happened to be in the Manchester, NH store on Thursday, 12/20/2017.

Having worked in retail, for more than 40 years, I was more than pleasantly surprised
to find this store to be very, very organized (despite it being 5 days before Christmas)!
Aisles were clear, displays were well signed, condensing of Christmas merchandise (moving to the aisles and to the front of the store) was incredible! Spoke to MOD Fran...highly visible, available for questions and delivering answers!!!
What I find amazing at this time of year...when I ask: "Are you the Store Manager?"--the look of horror, I usually get...Fran was wonderful and very, very delightful to deal with...
She really be recognized for her attention to all aspects of the business...especially your customers! ....when I was leaving, a man approached about a purchase he had made the day before, without a coupon....Upbeat as I had witnessed, she smiled, and said "Follow me to the registers!"

What an asset to your company!!! This is someone you should truly value!

I have shopped in your Bala Cynwyd, PA store many times. Yesterday was a big sale with a crowded store. Your employees were and are always so nice, patient and most helpful. They said that they were short staffed but you never would have know!

I have a big HUGE complaint about customers going to Michael's.Do not berate,put down,yell at the cashier for things out of their control.We get orders from our Manager to have to say or do certain things.Know our Michael's coupon policy before you go into the store to complain.We cashiers don't force you to buy the items,so it is not our fault if you as a customer cannot read the coupon and what the exclusions are.When you return items WITHOUT a receipt,it's stated on the receipt that you will be getting less back,store policy when you don't have a receipt and know that if you give us attitude don't expect GREAT customer service in exhange!!!!

Been shopping at Michael's for years! I've always had a good experience. Yes, sometimes you have some young , new employees that are not up to speed but they'll get there! If I have a problem I ask to speak to a manager and I always get help with what I need. I shop at the Mission Viejo (manager Nick) and Foothill Ranch Stores and they are always friendly and clean.

I wanted to take the time to recognize an outstanding experience from a manager at the Asheville store. The manager staci was fantastic. I was in your store yesterday and the store was dirty staffed. She was very professional and gave me outstanding customer service trying to find string art projects. She was relentless in finding me something and what she found was exactly what I was looking for. She was getting call after call in get radio for other things she was needed for at that moment. She helped me and remained I'm control even under the stress that was obvious. When I checked out there she was yet again on a register ringing me up. With a smile on her face. She even Gabe it's a coupon in return for the constant interruptions.this is a level heeded well rounded experienced manager. I was impressed by her and wanted to praise her! I had a wonderful experience in the Michael's store on Brandywine in Wilmington, Delaware because of the floral arranger, Michelle.

I was shopping for centerpieces for an 85th Birthday party and Michelle helped me find the right arrangements and was able to personalidentify them for the spracial occasion.

She went above and beyond expectactions that I have for shopping at your stores.

I shopped at your LV store yesterday and used my teachers ID. I was only given 10% off, and most of the items were not discounted. What are the exclusions please?
Also want to commend your quick response to a previous complaint regarding the poor condition of the restroom. The door was propped open yesterday and I could see that the faucets had been replaced and it appeared to be cleaner, nice job/response! Thanks for valuing your customers input, I'm very impressed!! :)

I would like to thank Michaels store employee, Sam Speaker in the Cedar Falls, Iowa store.
First of all, I special ordered some glass/ candle center pieces for my wedding. I got a phone call they were in in Cedar Falls. I drove down there ( an hour away ) and they were not. Only 1/2 the order was in.
Well, I kinda did the UGLY bride thing. With just 2 days before the wedding and no time to shop around and figure out what else I could do for the centerpieces. Sam could see I was upset. She was calling to all the other stores to find all the pieces. She found them in Ames, Iowa. Which was way more driving for me and I had no time before the wedding.
So she volunteered ! She drove an 1 1/2 hours one way to get them. And I was able to not have to change a thing on my special day thanks to Sam !! She was a life saver ! She is a true asset to the Michaels team !

I purchased a 16x20" frame at the Boca Raton store & had a problem placing the canvas in. We spoke with Nikko the store manager Saturday Feb.27. He was a delight to deal with & suggested we bring it in to him. Today, Sun. The 27th we did just that. Not only did he put it together for us he wrapped it too. I am sending Michaels KUDOS IN HAVING A STORE MANAGER THAT IS A STAR .

Megan, frames dept., Valparaiso, IN store #4746: Knowledgeable, polite, patient, helped with framing three pictures. Continues to smile, look for merchandise, suggest order online for frame not on shelf, sincere, mature employee. Keep this valued lady on your payroll. I have seen her in action, many, many times, when shopping. She is always pleasant.

My daughter worked in the Mishawaka store. All the manager was worried about was her getting enough people to sign up for Michaels rewards. Management only cares about corporate numbers on rewards signups. I can't believe they would tell her she wasn't getting enough people to sign up. Like no one wants a stalker at the register. It's very upsetting that management never gave good praise. Only wanting more reward sign ups. I told her to quit so many times other places don't do that. Kroger don't force people to sign up for rewards. Or Hobby Lobby your competition doesn't do that. It's very upsetting and to top it off Michaels pay is aweful. Not comparable to everyone else. Hobby lobby pays more so does Walmart. Wendy's pay more. So I hope someone rethinks their whole corporate game after reading this.

My last day as an employee at Michaels is Saturday. I work in the San Jose location and this review is solely about the store manager who's last day at my location was today, Thursday February 2nd. I had submitted my 2 weeks notice last Thursday and my final day was going to be February 9th. I find out that I'm not even on the schedule at all for my last week. As someone who has worked in retail for 14 years, and my last position at my last job I was in upper management for 2 years, I know thats not how you run a business. My store manager never even gave me notice that I wasn't going to be on the schedule at all. Since the day I was hired, I could easily tell she didn't want me working there. I don't understand why, as I had not done anything to upset her or disrespect me in any way. She will be moving to the Sunnyvale location in 3 weeks when she returns from her vacation. I honestly believe that something needs to be done about this store manager, as she clearly doesn't understand how to treat her employees. As well, in the past 6 months, I have not been fully trained to be in the framing department and I felt like every time I came in, I was just treated to be a janitor to the store which is not what I signed up for. I did not sign up to be her janitor, I signed up to learn framing, and production, neither of which I got. I had voiced my opinion to different managers, including the store manager herself, and saw absolutely nothing being done about it. I was consistently blamed for orders being re-ordered but when management changed a week after I got hired, the manager they transferred me also never trained me and in fact was the one who sent 56+ reorders that didn't even need to be reordered in the first place and I was blamed for it because they were all under my name. I felt very disrespected, and I felt like I was being discriminated against since it seemed I was the only one in this store who was being treated so poorly by almost all of management, especially the store manager, except for 2. Something needs to be done about this store manager as soon as possible and her work ethics before something terrible happens to the employees at the Sunnyvale store.

No, I am not making any of this up. This literally all happened during my employment time. Unfortunately, as this is the closest michaels to my home, I will be willing to drive further to another michaels for better service, as I won't be able to set foot in this store again. Please do something as soon as possible.

I was an employee of Michael's in the Port Chester store and all I could say is the management need to be trained again on how to deliver customer service not only to the customers but to their employees. The staff is totally GREAT and I hate the fact that I'm no longer working with them. It seems like the managers leave home with an attitude and come to work to vent on the employees. I haven't been there but maybe a month and the training is terrible because no one shows you anything; you're basically learning on your own or if another team member helps you out. I got so tired of the way I was being spoken too there and as a friendly smiling person which the customers all said they are so happy to have someone like me there to brighten the place it was a disaster to work for such management as that. There's never enough staff to cover any shifts which leaves pressure on the closing staff to try and maintain the store before and after closing. I even heard how one manager talked down to another manager. This store need to be evaluated because I could go on and on.

I am an employee at your bel air md store, I was hired by store manager Erin in early February, shortly after Erin transferred to another location, our new manager Pete took over cutting hours to 5 hrs a week, he is very disrespectful, mean, nasty, and totally unprofessional. Insulting employees over the radio, makings us belittle each other to his amusement, this man belongs in a cave not a retail store, this is my 2 weeks notice, and I'm glad to be free of the abuse, he took me off the schedule, then back on in one day with out notification,several employees have quite do to racism,and anxieties in the last 2 weeks, tell Pete Michaels may be impress ed with his brash behavior but us people with a soul won't be apart of this type of toxic infectious individual who obviously has issues with himself and others, well not my problem any more. there will be more that endure this abuse,but who is the overseer of tis operations should be ashamed before God, eclesastics 5:8, see that's why we should do business in grace of him. thank you for the opportunity,And good luck with sales this season, the job was fun,interesting,and enjoyed, prior to ,Mr. Pete
