I canceled my website to the day I would be charged, but you took my money the day before. Please refund my money immediately. Call me at I believe there is a law prohibiting companies taking money early due to contract. Please let me know as soon as possible. Diane Aiello

It again says that homestead has malware. I have tried calling 5 times today and never get through to anyone, it just keeps playing awful music. I am now looking into to changing my service to someone else!

I heard they were updating their security certificates. My friend called and apparently was able to get in. This was an hour ago so. Why was it done now and not in the early AM? Why is it taking so long? I am starting to guess foul play as well but if it's certs I can live with that.

I have been a pleased customer for about 5 years now and never had a problem, but just today your website seems to have been compromised by malware and I am now getting worried using your email system. Since my website is through your site, including my email, I am very concerned for my employees and customers with how your website is claiming to now harm my computer. I have also been having a lot of trouble finding a customer service place to help me, which is why I'm sending this through this form. If you guys could please send me info on what has been happening, I will reconsider changing hosting sites. As of now I am changing hosting sites. Thank you.

I tried ringing them, "there's a fault ring 118 ***" DO NOT RING THAT NUMBER It's a scam which charges you £2 per minute to be put on hold

My website is down which is hosted through Homestead, their website "homestead.com" is down too and this place is the only one I can find their Customer Service number. No one is answering the phone. I can't email them or chat since everything connected to Homestead seems to be unresponsive.

have been trying to update credit card for account for a week.....no response even when i wait for 30 minutes...i am a charter member and have indicated so in y e-mails that have also been ignored ...how sad and disappointing since before the intuit sale this was a valued and responsive partner

This is outrageous!! 25 minutes and counting. I was trying to get an account problem sorted out and this is the final straw. Homestead used to be so good to work with - I don't know what happened but Intuit just lost ANOTHER customer. Sell this unit - you're killing it by treating customers this way.

This so called customer service is absolutely dreadful...we are trying to update our billing information after numerous attempts to do so via the website...we have been calling the number for three days now. No one ever answers. We are out of here!

this email/ website provider is TRASH. do not sign up with them. you cannot ever get help and you will be on the phone forever and speak to no one. JUNK JUNK JUNK terrible company stay back keep your distance from these people.

I spent the last two hours trying to get my website updates to publish and now it is nearly 2 a.m and I wanted it updated by the end of the weekend and there is NO ONE to contact!!! Every time I try to publish my website my computer locks up and I have to re-boot it. Everytime I log into my site, Homestead asks me to "update" my software. I have two websites through Intuit one is www.2ndavenuehealingarts.com the other is wwww.Retreatspokane.com. I have spent countless hours building these sites and nothing but problems every time I try to update them the past several months. Now I have to look elsewhere for my website needs. :(

I have been a Homestead custome rfor years. Actually since their beginning in the 90's. Had the occasional prblems over the years which at one time got resolved fairly well. Recently though I have experinced everything all the other folks posting here have experienced. Not sure if the decline in customer service and quality correlates with Intuit taking it ove ror not. But looking at teh other poster's comments, I'm not waiting for thier "no-custmer service" to help. Guess it's time to move my site hosting elsewhere.

My experience with Homestead is the same as all the other comments. Their customer service is AWFUL!! Cannot get anywhere with phone calls or emails.
There needs to be better regulations on these companies.

Very (extremely Poor) (Terrible Customer Support. Email down for days, loosing business, and get message of high volume calls. If they are getting this many calls they must not be doing something right.
I recommend run from this company as fast as you can go.

I can get no resolution on the problems I am having with this company. I have lost contacts, emails and business.



My emails are going no where either, I am getting NONE I have a very important deadline for customers tomorrow and have had no resolution on this problem, no one at customer service will answer the phone during the day. Can you please help!I have had customers complete forms online that I am not getting and I need to retrieve those, or it is lost business.

My site never launched,however I am being charged. I would like a refund considering it never launched. I tried to get help with this but all info turned out to be more charges for an answer.As I stated,my site did not launch,please correct this situation.

I totally agree with everyone else's comments about the horrible customer service, long wait times and the professionalism of the customer service representatives and the supervisors. Downright shameful at best. I worked for over and hour and a half on my website to find out that NONE of my information would save because I have a MAC computer and their site does not agree with Safari. I simply suggested that they put a disclaimer on the site so that no other customer would have to go through what I went through and I received sarcasm and an argumentative response from the customer service representative. I asked to speak to a supervisor he said I could save my complaint and he agrees with the customer service rep and why would they put that on their website!!! I am livid!!

Loser #1 in customer service, support and caring anything about their clients. ZERO reachability, all they want is your money.For many years they hosted my websites, but now I am looking elsewhere and to my surprise, except for some definately unreputable hosting companies, Homestead is the ONLY ONE WITHOUT easy contact to a live person. Clearly, they DON'T care about anything but your money!! I am leaving them. Whenever you can't reach a company by phone, it's time to be wary and suspect of their business dealings.

There doesn't seem to be any way to talk to someone before you sign up with this company. I'm not sure I like that. I wanted to ask some questions about domain names and hosting but couldn't find the answer on their site.

I've been a customer of Homestead since 2002. I've designed over a dozen websites and currently have 7 live domains and websites with them.

I've recommended Homestead to everyone I know who's been looking to build their own sites. However **The past year (2012-13) has been nearly unbearable. I use Mozilla Firefox, on a Mac, and the system has gone to pot.

Today, I can't even edit my site because when I paste text into a text box, everything in the box disappears.Try to "undo" and nothing happens. Or I'll paste text to add into a paragraph and it gets pasted 3 times, in 3 different areas, and chopped in half (often pasted in the middle of some other already-existing sentence). Formats, sizes, bold/italics, all randomly changed almost every time.

There are so many more "surprise" bizarre things that happen when simply editing text that it's incomprehensible how this goes on.

They've now taken their phone number and "contact us" of their website, so we can no longer speak to anyone directly. There's not even an online chat option. I don't understand what's become of them.

It's pathetic that they can't get these major issues worked out. If things are not worked out by June of this year. I'm leaving.

I have had a basic website I built with intuit for years for $19.99 a month. Homestead convinced me my site was not professional enough and sold me on the professional website package. They promised to have it up and running in 10 days. It has been over 2 months now and I have already been billed 2 times for close over $300 for the new site, yet the new site is incomplete and not running and no one will finish the wesite as requested before I submit another form of payment so they can get another payment from me.



I have left voicemail messages numerous times and sent numerous emails explaining what the problem is with the incomplete website. No one responds and no one has attempted to finish the website. All they want is money without finishing the website. No I m faced with loosing access to my old site and loosing business daily because homestead has a bunch of jackasses working for them who don't have a clue about customer service. If my website goes offline and the new site is not completed to specs I requested I will be making an official complaint to the attorney general and publically post negative comments about homestead concerning this issue.



You can't be reached by phone, only by voicemail. Its ridiculous

Horrible customer service. This is the only site where I found an actual phone number to call a real person, but the wait time is ridiculous. Live chat is completely useless.

It is difficult to get a hold of anyone for Customer Service. I was sent the wrong amount of product and charged for more. I find it very challenging and frustrating to not be able to talk with someone. When I called Customer Service the automated voice told me to go to the web. I WANT TO TALK WITH A PERSON!!!!! I've been having problem with your service for the past 4month, you guys keep charging me service that I had called numerous time to get them cancelled.. Your customer reps seems to not be doing there jobs right....I called to cancel and request December November and October pavements to be refunded back to my card due to how horrible the service is and how horrible their reps are over seas... Well today all your reps are doing like they usually do is giving me the run around...fake emails to email to....numbers they say they don't have so I don't have the abilities to call their superiors... Leaving me on hold for 20min at a time....

I'm contacting the BBB about this manner after this
