Cashier store manager
I am a big fan if your store love all ur products I had went to return item that I had purchased I was unable to return it untill l yesterday my husband had passed away I was overwhelmed.
your associate were not helpful I felt embarrassed and humiliated Infront of other customers I was treated like I had robbed the store I was told by them that they were unable to give me store credit due to the fact that it's almost a year since I bought the ceramic rooster $49.99 for it after explaining my situation to them and why it took me so long they still were not helpful.
Thank you looking forward on hearing from you .
Upset customer.

Hi, my name is Mike. And I broke at the McMinnville Oregon home goods and I worked at the Stockton, California, 12 and like 2015 or 16 things have changed with the credit card. And I do feel forced almost harassed to try and sell it to people even though I know that I've asked them before. Maybe even the day before and I'm told to ask him again, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. Why in God's greener of what I asked the same person the same question every single time that doesn't make sense, it's a waste of time as far as getting orders and like you said, cherry syrup somebody's sitting there. There really is no way and if you have to. You can call it distributor. I would go through TJ Maxx and they are the ones that do the distributing for the other stores or corporations. So we have underneath the TG mass.
If TJ Maxx or TJ ex corporate is floating, their company completely on credit cards. That's not good not good at all. And now maybe this text text may help improve the way employees are made to feel by management about doing that with credit cards, it makes people feel intimidated to do it and make some feel uncomfortable. And I'm gonna tell you right now. That's why you have such a high turnover rate at that McMinnville. Store, they don't want to do it and they walk out they don't come back. And I mean the employees and customers TSO. If you guys think a credit card is more important than a repeat customer. You may want to redo economics 101.

(56 Chambersbridge Brick NJ 08723 location) Nancy or Nency not sure how you spell it is probably the WORST employee they have at this location. My friends and i were in the store looking for a cheese grater and one of my friends had a christmas gift for another friend that happened to be at the store with us so he was being a little sneaky around us, not the employees, us. But he was then accused of stealing by nancy calling him a thief and he had asked her for her name to report this, she asked for his name and he did not want to give that and so he walked out. two seconds later she chased us out of the store (check your cameras) so i went back in and got into an argument with her and she tried charging at me. THAT WAS UNBELIEVABLE. her manager had to push her away and told her to go in the back. her manager then didn't seem to care and just kept saying "oh but she's so nice" are you kidding? she tried to get to me to do god knows what.. this employee deserves to get fired.

Went to Home Goods in Conyers, GA. Upon checking out the cashier, El-Amin, asked if I wanted a rewards card. I asked if it was a credit card and she kept saying rewards that can be used in 3 stores. After she took my information she then said it was a credit card. I told her that I did not want a hit on my credit. Employees need proper training because messing with people's credit is a serious issue. I know they get a little bonus for getting credit cards but if she's not careful, she could get hurt. I'm PISSED!! TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE TJX!!!

What a surprise and huge rip off. PIF charge of 1% added to bill.

On 9/3/23 at 7:30pm I went to Home Goods 27651 San Bernardino ave in Redlands, CA. This store has a TJMaxx attached to it. I parked close to the entrance of home goods as I am elderly and disabled. After checkout at 8:15pm I attempted to leave the store by way of the home goods door which is where my vehicle is parked. I was told I had to leave by way of the T J Max door as they were closed now. I explained that I am not only elderly but also disabled with a ruptured disc and a heart condition and have difficulty walking any distance. The employee said it didn't matter those doors are locked and everyone must exit from TK Max. This total disregard for a disabled person shows a lack of not only empathy and compassion but zero customer service skills. I have had to suffer with horrendous back pain all night from this experience. Work on training your employees on assisting disabled persons.

I went to the Home Goods on 7761 W. Tropical Parkway in Las Vegas yesterday with my kids and grandbaby and I never been so uncomfortable around an employee in my life. The lady first literally stopped and starred at my grandbaby who mind you is one and just starred at her with disgust then looked at me so I finally picked her up from walking and walked away to the register and while we were checking out this same employee did the same thing AGAIN!!!! She was looking at her in disgust acting like this little dark skinned baby was gonna rob the store (mind you I am white) she stood there and watched us until we were done checking out. I thought her professional behavior was rude and very uncalled for!! She made me and my family feel very uncomfortable and like we weren't good enough to be in the store......very upsetting and disgusted

I went to return a set of outdoor furniture cushions today that had torn unfortunately I lost the receipt. As I just had total hip replacement surgery.

The cashier looked at it and torn it even more then refused to replace it. There was a replacement one in the store exactly the same.
So now I can't even sew it to repair it since I'm such with a damaged cushion that is useless.
Saddened as I never had a problem with Home Goods before. I will think twice about shopping there again

Cascade Station Homegoods Portland OR
Rude customers when asking for the hello kitty blankets, was curious as to why and come to find another customer witnessed the manager hold and hide blankets in the back for them for when they open for not one but TWO resellers!!! Unreal. This has to be against policy. No wonder no one has a chance here

Had a very bad experience with someone at the frandor location in East Lansing MI. I asked a young man for help and he turned and said that it wasn't his job to help me. Not sure about the name because I could not pronounce it and I've never seen him working before there. but being an older lady with barely any hearing and a hard time walking I don't think I'm going to go to this place again even after years of shopping here.

Waited 45 min to check out!!! I shopped at the blue springs home goods store (adams dairy parkway) on July 6th, 2023 in the evening. I purchased $150 in merchandise. I had to wait 45 min to check out. There was a line clear across the store. Only 3 checkers!!! They said they didn't have anyone else trained.

Why Homegoods at The Villages in Winter Garden has such long and long lines. action needs to be taken. They joined 2 stores in one with boxes in common. This is nonsense. Thank you if you take action, because I need to go to another city to buy in another store because of the huge queues.

Just was in Home goods Fort Lauderdale, in Coral Ridge Mall, returning pillow. Line was not that long, 3-4 people in front of me, but only 2 registers were "working", salespeople were taking their time, chatting and laughing, in no rush, but line behind me was getting longer and longer, when I finally got to the register in 20 min, and mentioned behavior of the salespeople- i was bombarded with all kinds of rudeness, disrespect ,racial comments. No accountability, no understanding how to provide good customer service- just horrible, never come again, will wright to corporate big complaint, these workers need to be hold accountable, which apparently they fill they are safe and can act and say whatever they want, where is culture of "customer always right"-gone with the wind? Please, respond and try to educate your workers and hold them accountable, thanks.

Just left Home Goods, Albuquerque NE. The cashier was so rude and she was making it known she was rude. Never said a word, gave me evil stare down and when my back was turned to leave and I was almost to the door, she yells, have a nice day. Snarky! Why? Just mean and nasty.

I purchased nightstands online at Home Goods for a furnished rental property. I paid extra for rush shipping. Both times the items arrived damaged. I would have purchased the items in store, but there weren't two night stands that matched so I had to purchase them online. I contacted customer service and explained that I was on a tight timeline to furnish the property and needed to have nightstands for our guests, which is why I paid extra for expedited shipping. They refunded me for the damaged shipments and the additional shipping fee. I offered to buy 2 additional nightstands at a higher price point ($50 more each) and I was told there was no way they could get them to me in 1-2 days. I offered to have them shipped to my sister's house who lives nearby, and was told that they would not waive the rush shipping fee because they have already waived it twice for the two broken items. I asked if there was anything they could do to make this right. The answer was no. They didn't offer a discount on the more expensive nightstands I was about to purchase, or a gift card for the trouble, inconvenience and additional stress of two damaged shipments in a row. They wouldn't even waive the shipping fee. In my opinion, this is very poor service.

Home Goods at 200 N kimball Ave in Southlake, Tx 76092. This store deemed the lights 10min before closing time. Lavatories were being cleaned 35 min before closing then all lights in the bathroom area turned off 10 min before closing. So if employees want to go home right at closing then why doesn't the store changes the hours and close earlier. Can't shop with deemed lights and obviously no bathrooms available for customers 35min before closing.. Just close Earlier then.

Horrible customer service. There is a culture that the customer is always wrong. They are actually abusive to you nasty and vindictive. I could tell you Debbie at HomeGoods cascade station Portland Oregon is the real pill. She jumped all over me and got abusive just because the cashier that was waiting on me, couldn't answer my question and kept ignoring what I was asking and telling me something else even though I calmly explained it to her several times. I was simply asking her what item she was returning off of a receipt. All she would tell me is the form of payment over and over and over again. Then Debbie comes in and gets abusive to trainer that you can just be dumb and not listen to the clients or customers if they have any and just blame the customers of beat them up rather than actually try to listen and figure out the actual question people are asking, chances are neither one of them understood English very well so I spent some time talking to the Knight manager, Devon. He just kept telling me that they had a process and they were trained a certain way. He never understood her son. Any empathy. obviously he hasn't had customer service training , and he kept talking about irrelevant things and didn't understand what I was trying to explain to him clearly, it's a culture of stupidity, a customer is always wrong, and we don't care. I've been there several times recently and purchase a lot for filling homes and it's my experience. They do not want to lift a finger to help somebody. They're only talk to ring in at the cash register , Devon even told me tonight that they could go get the cart so I wouldn't have to leave my purse and I repeatedly asked them if they would help with that and they said they could not because I can't leave the cash register so chalk one more thing of the organizational culture. Their training is not consistent or they're OK with lying or both. This will be the last visit for me and if any of these items don't work because I bought probably 60 items just tonight and expect that there will be a few that don't work. I will return them to a different store driving way out of my way but I do not intend to come back to home goods anymore. I do pretty well with Amazon Wayfare and overstock, so I really don't need this and neither do you.

I am a loyal customer and visit home good at least once a week, today I saw a patio set for 110, verified the price with an associate, and confirmed with one employee.
I went and got my car, talked to a furniture associate, and confirmed the price again.
Then I went to pay and the cashier said she had to double check the price, associate came back and sed the price was wrong per his manager.
Asked to talk to her ( Jenifer) she immediately came back in combatting mode and said that is the price for only one item. Asked her why it is advertised otherwise and the employee do not know the actual price. She called me rude and walk out. Sad that such a good store has such an MGT. This is the Home good in the corner of Preston and 121 and such a pitty has employees like this

Hello, I drove all the way to HomeGoods in El Cajon, CA today 3/23/23 and the store is closed at 9:40pm. I simply had to exchange an item and this was very inconvenient. The employees seen me at the door through the windows, and didn't bother to even acknowledge me or apologize for closing early.

last week I bought a mirror from Home Goods. The size was wrong because it was labeled 22"x28" and they didn't take into account for the frame. When I got home with it home it wouldn't fit. I took it back today, less than a week later, but I didn't have my receipt, so they refused to put the purchase price back on my credit card and said they couldn't exchange it either. They called the store who confirmed that they couldn't return the price on my credit card. She asked me which cashier I used and what the price was. I felt like I'd done something wrong because she said I couldn't prove which store I bought if from. It was their policy. I threatened to contact my credit card and dispute the charge. Finally, they gave me
store credit. I will never buy there again, except to use the store credit.

Unfortunately I did not a good experience with the return and refund at Home Goods. On February 26th I and my wife did a purchase in Home Goods. On February 28th we decided returned some itens in this Home Goods: 3601 OAKWOOD BLVD HOLLYWOOD, FL 33020. Unfortunately, the refund transaction failed and the amount of U$ 150.81 was not returned in my visa credit card 6646 final. On March 1st we came back the store and I explained to the manager the problem. But he said that I should wait 3-4 days. Our situation is complicated because we returned to Brazil on March 4th. Question: Will we lose out? Because I called in my bank and the answer was: '' The refund transaction failed because PIN not digited by credit card´s user''
The number of refund receipt is bellow

Just want to say that I love HomeGoods, and I've shopped there for years. But I was in the store recently and they were playing awful rap music. It is the Christmas season. All the decorations are out and they were not playing any Christmas music.

We went to the Homegoods in El Cajon California. We had a great shopping experience. Found lots of things we needed for great prices. We needed some extra help with purchasing outdoor furniture and the staff were extremely helpful, especially Jazmin and Farwas Alabied. They went out of their way to help us us in every way. Altogether a great place to shop.

I was in the Home Good Store in Fort Worth in Overton Park Plaza on 5/28/23. I just wanted to let you all know how pleasant and friendly everyone in the store was, from the first moment of walking into the store all the way to the checkout counter. The store was very clean and organized, the Store Manager was very friendly and helpful along with one of the Sales Associates. I would return to this location whenever I visit Texas. They showed me that great customer service still exists. Thank you to the entire TEAM at this location.

The other day I had the experience of going to another home goods, not in my area on Cortez Rd., Bradenton, FL. It was the most enjoyable, helpful, and delightful experience I have ever had at a HomeGoods. The manager was Rob, he got me a cart helped me with my purchase And was an excellent manager. The lady that checked me out, Christine, couldn't have bent over backwards enough. I will from now on go to the Cortez location, a class act store. !!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

My sister and I went to shop at the Chipman Rd store. We need help with some questions about some pieces furniture and everyone- but especially Delaney- went out of their way to go look in the storeroom, find necessary tools, helped us load the items in our car, etc. Just a really nice experience. Thank you so much, Home Goods Lee's Summit- you have a great crew!

I had a return to the Homegoods store in Pasadena Maryland. The associate who waited on me was Steven. I must say he was the most courteous and pleasant person to deal with. I was very impressed with his service and left the store extremely happy. Congratulations to this store and I will definitely continue to give the my business.

Shopped Home Goods Wmspt today..when I got to my car I realized I didn't have my phone..I panicked because I am caregiver for hubby and need it to check on him at home.
I saw a co worker and asked if she could help me. She immediately stopped what she was doing and said she would go get her phone to call my number and hopefully find it.
When she got back she dialed my # while I walked around listening for the ring.
Thankfully I heard it about 2 aisles over.
I can't tell you how grateful I am to this employee who went out of her way to help me at this busy time of year! I worked in retail management over 30 years and I can tell you this is a valuable employee!I can't remember her name but management knows who she is...always a positive experience at this store but today was special thanks to her...

This comment is meant for a wonderful associate in the South Portland Maine store who went above and beyond for me. I was bought a couple planter pots a couple months back and was looking for two more to match. I went to the store and was told they were unloading a truck and that they might be on it and they would let me know. Annie took my number and has been on the look out for this item for me fo a month. The items happened to come in on a truck today and reached out to me right away. I can't thank her or praise her enough for all of her help. This really completes my vision for a my deck area and I couldn't have done it without her help. Give this wonderful lady a raise!!!!

I would like to commend an employee at my local HomeGoods store in Fresno, Ca. I was shopping on April 26, 2021. Upon checkout, the clerk asked if I would everything I was looking for. I mentioned that I was curious about the size of a large area rug. The sales tag had the price only and the dimensions were at the very top. Without hesitation, she offered to to to the area, lower the rug so we could read the label. I was concerned about her leaving the register because there were others waiting. There was no one available at the time to assist and she said I was her priority. So I went from just being curious to buying the rug. She was very positive, friendly, and professional. Her name is ELVA and a TOP RATED employee in my opinion. Please give her the recognition she deserves! Sincerely D Patterson

I went to my normal Homegoods store off Pines Blvd store #289194 where I find amazing specials and products. On this specific day I locked my keys inside the car with my purse and phone. I went inside and asked if I could use their phone to call my husband. This is where one of the cashiers Sarah Cavanaugh did not hesitate (in the middle of a pandemic) was not afraid to let me use her phone to contact my husband. She kept me I. Contact with him by answering his texts while I went on to ship until he was able to come pick me up an hour later. She went out of her way to make me feel at ease while shopping that I would not miss my husband when he showed up to pick me up without my me standing outside I hope that I would not miss him. This is great customer service if I May say so. The you

I have to share my experience with the Homegoods store in Peachtree Corners, Ga. I was in there on Wednesday, March 22nd. I purchased about $400 dollars and told the nice gentleman at the front that this store was one of the nicest Homegoods I had ever been to. Very clean, nicely stocked, neat and very friendly staff. My husband and I gathered all my purchases and headed home to Alabama. We were about an hour away from home when I received a call from AAA verifying I was Kathy Hart and had I been to Georgia today. I said yes and he said he had a gentleman from Homegoods on the other line. The gentleman from Homegoods said he thought I may have left my wallet and asked me to describe it and asked how much cash I had. I did and he said it was there and they would put it in the safe. I had a considerable amount of cash and 8 credit cards, all my identity and insurance cards. I am so very thankful there are still honest people in this world. All we hear is negativity these days. But these people are amazing. The girl that actually found it is Melinda. She needs a raise or a promotion. My poor husband had to drive there the next day to get the wallet. Everything was in there as though I had never left it. My husband tried to give reward money but Gladson said they couldn't accept it. Truly a great place with employees with great work ethics!! THANKS AGAIN HOMEGOODS, THE FORUM PEACHTREE CORNERS!!!

I have yet to find a Home Goods Store that I didn't like. Some are oustanding not with only their staff, but the set up. However, I did find a male manager. or assistant manager with red hair who was in the Parsipany Store and then later in the Paramus Store to be rather unfriendly and not at all helpful. Being a constant customer of all Home Goods, I had purchased a large expensive wreath for over my fireplace at one point but realized numerous things missing off of it when I arrived home. I went back to the store, but they only had one other which had even more items missing off of it. Even though he would be unable to sell the other wreath with so much missing, he refused to allow me to remove the items that were missing from mine to make a completed wreath. I had only bought it the day before, and he was actually not customer friendly when I said then I wanted to return it. He gave me attitude as my granddaughter would say. My ratings below are for all of there other stores

I visited a Homegoods store that opened recently in Jacksonville fl. The store was heavily packed with customers and employees were running around like crazy. I asked one of there employees if they had a particular item for a gift and of course you did not carry it at that time..not only did she feel bad that she didn't have a product I wanted but she walked with me and gave her suggestions on other items. She helped me find the perfect present for my daughter. Her name was Kimberlyn. I will look for her on my next visit!!

I worked in the Warner Robins HomeGoods 28-0681 from august 2015 till Jan 2022 durig this time I have seen crappy furniture, that falls apart, sheets resold with rips, holes, towels so in ven you wouldn't use them for rags, pillows with mold, pot with bent lids, miss-priced item or no tags at all, then we were to go find something similar, problem is we usually only got one or possibly 2 of that items so you most likely had to over charge for something, not to mention lamps with broken wires, no knobs or shades so bent they look like the sails on a ship, large rugs with cuts, dyed wrong and just crap
Point is customers need to run away from this place and fast
By the way the interest rates for the credit card they push so hard is 29.9 %

I'm one of your employees in Wisconsin. The mask mandatory is over cdc lowered their requirements. Most of us are vaccinated. No company is forcing their employees to wear a mask. Except this company. Its hot in the receiving room the mask makes it hard to breath an air quality is horrible. Get rid of these masks don't you care about your employees who been working hard for you at less then 12 an hour. Been here for close to 5 yrs. Not even making 12 an hr

I was hired for the store 681 in Warner Robins Ga. And the district manager told me to go up frobt for cashier training by the cashier specialist in the newly soon to open warner Robibs store. As soon as i told her politely that Mr. Dwayne wanted me to come for training she told me "NO". I felt like this was very unprofessional and rude. for this woman suppose to be the specialist inthis area. If she can act this way towards and employee how does she react to other customers. The other associate felt she said it meanly as well. Starting to give me a negative conation towards home goods store.
