I spent over $800 on a Christmas tree that was warranted for 3 years. After the first year it melted where try he prelit bulbs insert into the little socket. I returned it to the store and got a new one The new tree did the exact same thing 3 weeks after putting it up. I contacted them and they said it would have to be taken care of by the maker of the tree. The company who made the tree said in 2 years they would be in contact with me because of the demand for its trees however I could return it to the store and get another tree. I was offered by the store some Xmas lights to restring the damaged tree lol. I am still trying to get it replaced to date but with the most lackadaisical approach by Hobby Lobby. I will not be spending my hard earned money there ever again and will share my experience with everyone. I can

Only cashiers were for refunds and exchanges. No one for purchases. What a waste of time.

My first and only purchase from Holly Lobby will most certainly be my last! I ordered what I thought was going to be a perfect outside bench cushion. It turned out to be the wrong size and I wanted to return it and filled out the return form and my husband took it to UPS. Only problem was the bench cost me $29.99 + $8.95 (2.00) shipping to purchase and UPS charge was going to be over $67 because the box was 18 x 5 1/2 x 45!!! So, NO, didn't do that ? After reading the return policy again, I will be taking it back to my local Hobby Lobby, but I am not going to be happy about getting a store credit!

Was interested in an outdoor tan bench cushion. It was on sale from 60.00 to 30.00. There were 2 slashes in the material from box cutter(?). They would not give me any more off as it was already on sale and no further discounts on spring items. Why should I be charged the same price for a damaged item( last one in that color)when the other colors were in perfect condition. I would have had to buy iron on patches to cover slashes, costing me another $8.00? Have been a big supporter of you HL. Disappointed

This is not true. I bought a Brother Sewing/Embroidery Machine 18 days ago. I tried to return it today and I was told that the store in Collierville, TN is not allowed to accept returns of Brother products and I would have to contact the manufacturer. I am sure that I will not get my money back and I will be left with a machine that already after 18 days has problems that will require that I take it to a Brother authorized dealer to repair.

Horrible customer service. After checking out with my Samsung pay they voided it. Saying they don't take it. However my electronic bank statement said showed that it did. Now I have a void and a pending of $60. They got my money why turn me away!!! I spend hundreds of dollars a month with my art and kids art.

BE AWARE that Hobby Lobby DOES NOT give a credit card refund for items bought online and returned at the store. You will get a store credit instead. They should let the customers know before finalizing the order online about this policy. Very disappointed!

I can not believe how Hobby Lobby is such a greedy company. All I was asking for, were for new light switch covers and out let covers with screws. After explaining my situation and request 3 times. They sent me to one of their on line attorneys. Does my "case" require an attorney? Do you think that, that was going to break them. Send then to bankruptcy? Greedy Greedy. Closed on Sunday? Why? 2 light switch & 3 out let covers.

I attempted to return an item I purchased online. I had ID, the online order info, the packing slip, the card I purchased with, and the item was new/unused. The rep at the checkout claimed online orders can only be eligible for store credit and refused to process a return, just an "exchange" and gave me store credit only. I wanted and requested a return, I asked her why they didn't tell people they were going to refuse to do returns prior to purchases and she wouldn't even answer me. This occurred on 12/14 in Wilmington, NC

I recently returned some items I did not need and when I noticed the refund applied back to the card I used, I did not receive the full refund that was listed on the receipt.

I jus had the worst experience of my life. I am an an avid crocheted. I had some yarn I wanted to exchange. Hobby lobby wouldn't take it back because it smelled like smoke. Does hobby lobby kno what discrimination is. I think that is a perfect example of discrimination. It wasn't the cashiers fault it was a person named leslie. I think that's discrimination

I have shopped at Hobby Lobby since they first opened in our area. A lot of people have complaints about them and their refunds and issuing refunds or exchanges. I guess it's just in the areas that they're buying them because in our area I have never had a problem exchanging refunding or something quit the day after I bought it or the next day like a clock they were more than willing to help. I don't think it's the company I think it's just the attitude of managers employees in the area that you shop

I would have to agree with some of the other disgruntled folks. I ordered a 3 tiered shelf online feeling safe because I knew the company and knew that I could return it to the store if something was wrong and lo and behold I can only get store credit if I take it to the store. But if I understand it right because I opened the box looks like I cant return it? I know I'm not going to be buying anything online again for sure.

I bought black buffalo plaid ribbon last year at Hobby Lobby, needed more this year. The difference in quality is ridiculous. This year's ribbon is so cheaply made. So disappointed?

I made a purchase on 9/25/20, paid in cash, had to return the item on 9/26/20, and they only gave me $6.37, instead of $6.39. They stated it was due to the national coin shortage. I asked if they could not just issue a store credit for the full amount, the person in charge said they could not. I realize this is only 2 cents, however, if they do this on all returns, then this is adding to their bottom line. I also can't believe they did not have 2 cents in any of the other cash registers. This will definitely make me shop at Michael's from now on.
I hope you all enjoy your 2 cents that you kept from me.

Don't trust HL to stand by their products any more than the promises they would make as a so called Christian company. How many of their products come from Communist China, a militant, atheist dictatorship? Perhaps this speaks volumes about their values and the almighty dollar.

It is next to impossible to return anything to HOBBYLOBBY. The hoops that one has to jump through is not worth it. I will know next time that HOBBYLOBBY does NOT stand behind their products. That is a great Christian company for you. Amazon will take their products back with no question asked.

I am so disappointed to discover that Hobby Lobby will not accept a sewing machine back if you have opened the box. How does this possibly make sense?? how can you find out the machine is faulty or the machine is not what you thought, without opening the box?? I truely don't understand this! If you cannot back a product better than this, don't sell it!

How long does it take to be issued a refund? I took my items in with my receipt and still havent received refund. Not a check, a card.

Thanks for nothing hobby lobby! Took two weeks to get a response and you still haven't addressed my request!!!! I need a copy of the original invoice sent with my product! I didnt Realize when I ordered from hobby lobby.com that this company still operates the way companies did decades ago! I threw away that stupid piece of paper that came in the package with my items!!! Had I known a literal piece of GOLD were enclosed with my order I would have retained it and kept it in a sacred place. Thanks for nothing. Worst customer service available!
