we stayed at Hampton Inn in Harrisonburg Va.
The shower turn knob was broken you couldn't take a shower
The cord to control the curtains was also broken
the room could have been a lot cleaner

I called because I wanted a job there. In my experience you call the employer. Then you talk to them about the job to show you want it. Front desk lady was rude and hung up on me. Rude and disrespectful. Not at all how an employee is supposed to act. I don't wanna be in a work place with a Karen.

we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Alexander City, al last night. We have always stayed in Hampton Inns and havent had any problems. The room we had last night was absolutely disgusting. The rug was sticky and turned our feet black. The counter tops were also sticky and filthy when we wiped them off. The smell in the room was a strong chemical odor. The air conditioner compressor had such a loud compressor rattle that it kept us up all night. The biggest problem was that when we went to the front desk, several times, no one was there. When we tried to call, the line stayed busy. It was a very unpleasant experience and we felt like you should be notified

Bad Hampton Inn read my Yelp review. Will never stay there again. Front desk no good room okay. Parking in rainy outlet mall open lot very very bad. Moved my car early am when space opened up. Of course I walked to car in rain. Tried several times on phone and in person to update email no help. Unleashed dogs behind counter. I didn't get bit but if someone dies Hilton will pay many other Hampton inns are fine. This one very back. I forgot door doesn't close unless pulled in very hard room door

I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns but never have I been at one (Carbondale IL)that was dirty had to ask for the maid service to make the beds and give us clean towels. The front desk people were some what rude. Show no discount for the orientation at SIU Will NEVER stay there again. Highly recommend everyone to stay away from that place. Rate it 0

Stayed at a Hampton Inn at 7 Slumber Lane, Carrollton, Kentucky 41008 on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Room 314 and arrived around 11 pm. First we were traveling with two other couples and had reservations for three rooms and two couples were put on first floor and we were placed on 3rd floor. I believe if you are all in a group they should attempt to put you all on the same floor but not that big a deal it was late and we were just going to sleep. The young man who checked us in could have been more personable and friendly. Seemed checking us in was an inconvenience. Secondly the bathroom toilet had black mold growing in it, which I took a picture of to show to the staff in the morning. Upon checking out at 8:45 am when I told them and showed her the photo of the dirty toilet and that they might want to try some Clorox, I was told they have hard water and it is just stained. I very much disagree and I hope they mention it to housekeeping so your next guests do not have to deal with the same issue. Room itself was fine. I heard two other guests complain to front desk about other issues and they were also given excuses instead of any apology etc. I believe friendly customer service goes a long way and possibly more training is needed at this hotel.

We stayed at Hampton Inn, Burmingham Ala on Farley ct last weekT-S. The rates went up daily for some reason but we were there for a family funeral and it was close to the family home. While the size of the room was adequate, it was not that nice. The bed was very ill-made from the get go. The bedskirt was wrinkled and hanging, sheets were so wrinkled and did not smell fresh. 2 towels and 2 wash cloths and hand towels. One soap for both sink and bath.not sure how clean the carpet was or the extra blanket from the closet. Out of 7 of us who stayed the 5 days, 4 now have been diagnosed with Covid now. Not the best hotel stay we've ever been in but not the worst. Disappointed.

Disappointed that an airport hotel did not have user friendly computer access for travellers. Front desk staff not overly helpful.

No hot water ,
No conditioner/shampoo/soap
Thermostat doesn't work on wall ,finally Got AC unit to operate off control on unit .
AC fan bearing squealing on every start.
No bags in any trash container.
Light shines on flag outside, was blinking all the time, causing a flicker inside curtain of my room.

I stayed February on Stevenson Ranch California near Santa Clarita California just north of Los Angeles and it was one of the worst days of my life the manager Tom dolinski is absolutely awful and very nasty to customers to think that he had the nerve to tell me that the sign on the counter saying that they make customers happy just tell us what you need and he said that's only for things like bottles of water and as a former CEO I would say he needs to be fired and the whole staff other than the man at the front desk need to be replaced. The bed was awful there were problems in the room of many kinds I could not even sit on the toilet fully because the door to the bathroom stops where it won't open fully to let you sit on the toilet and you can barely close the door because if you have a bath mat down it will catch on the door so you have to lift up the bath mat or the mat in front of the sink because the bathroom door won't even close for you to be able to sit on the toilet the whole thing was a mess there were probably 30 different issues and the front desk staff Gabby and Ann the operating manager were not interested in helping in any way and even refused to let me see the room before I checked in until they got permission from Tom and I had to wait for maybe 20 minutes or 25 minutes for Tom to get off of a phone call although he had told me to ask for him when I got there and he knew what time I was arriving but he did not tell his staff what was needed the whole thing was unprofessional and I felt truly unwelcomed especially after hearing Tom dolinsky told me three times over the phone before I arrived that maybe I should check into another hotel and and he did the same thing after I got there saying that I really needed to have a quick check in and the check-in took over an hour and he said about 3 or 4 times maybe you should go to a different hotel and I told him I already did the prepaid reservation as I told him on the phone I was doing so the whole thing was a nightmare

I should say that the early check-in was not a problem at all because of the fact I had asked the hotel staff before asking the question how full they are and they are only 50 to 70% full and very very rarely are they ever full so an early check-in should not be a problem, but it was for this general manager because this general manager and the staff have absolutely no interest to do anything for anyone and that's not what great general managers do they make sure that they make the customer happy as the sign on their counter even said but the general manager had the nerve to say that was only for things like bottles of water and that's absolute insanity. Even going into this hotel it's a very very low ceiling and it makes you feel like you're not in a hotel, the hotel cleaning stuff doesn't speak English at all because I tried to ask a question and later two of them said something to me it sounded like Spanish but I couldn't tell what they said and they kept talking to me I said I didn't understand but that I was on my way to breakfast, and probably should tell you again Tom dolinsky the general manager said again another three times or so that maybe I wish to go to another hotel when I was trying to check in and the problem with that is I had already prepaid with an online company so I would not get my money back because it said no refunds. And that's a major problem when you are in a hotel that is bad and you can't even get checked in for over an hour and instead of helping you they would rather have you leave and keep your money, and to make it worse I had called in to say that I was exhausted and I would be really tired when I arrived so I just wished to have a very quick check-in and Tom said just ask for him and he'll make sure I don't have a charge for early check in and he must have told his staff but they had no interest to show me the room or to make sure that they checked me in quickly or to waive the early check-in because they evidently weren't told by Tom so nothing was done professionally helpfully kindly considerately or honorably

I stayed on February 2023 and I must say the Hampton Inn is one of the worst hotels I've ever been at it certainly does not rate a 3 star that showed online, Tom Dolinsky the general manager was very nasty and even before I arrived suggested three times that I should go to another hotel and I thought that was pretty crazy having been a CEO myself that he kept telling me to go somewhere else when I was asking questions, I wished to make sure that I could check in early and he said he would waive the fee if it was after 12:00 noon even though I mentioned I may arrive at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. but I could deal with that but when I did arrive and ask for him as he told me to do it took over an hour to be checked in he was on the phone call and they refused to show me the room first Gabby was going to but then and the operations manager said they don't typically do that and so then I was denied it was one combative conversation after another and in front of me on the counter was tell us what we can do to make you happy and we will do it and they did not ever do anything to make me happy. I also asked for the $50 incidental to be paid in cash with a receipt from Tom and he refused to do that as well because of the fact that it takes my bank two weeks to put the money back into the account and talk about the things wrong with the room it's absolutely outrageous because the door was so large it and opened inward on the bathroom, one was not able to sit on the toilet fully with the door open so you had to try to close the door once you got in but it was so big that you had to get yourself between the toilet and the sink where there was little room and close the door and then use the toilet and that's very annoying at night time if you're getting up to use the bathroom, and the Sheets Were terrible they were the worst quality ever no cotton at all and the pillows were terrible the tissues were almost useless the toilet paper was low quality the shower pressure was very low and the room said on Priceline it was 324 ft and this room I had was probably about 150 if that not including the hallway or the bathroom of course, and the bed was not comfortable because there was a dip in the middle and that's one of the most important things to me is having a good night's sleep and the blackout curtain was not able to go down to cover the window so the first night I had no ability to sleep and the second day maintenance fixed the curtain that had gone off the track, there was no paper or pen in the room and the breakfast was absolutely terrible the yogurt is so bad I couldn't eat it the eggs are not eggs but they are liquid non eggs and they taste awful I threw it away after one bite and I don't think the cheese in The Omelette was real either it was fake and the fruit was not organic which I can't eat and the cereal was so stale that it didn't taste good and the milk was I think only 2% because it I don't use 2% it was like water and there was also a problem with the laundry room door opening inward not allowing people to easily get in and you certainly couldn't have two people in there at the same time but you could have the door opened outward and the recumbent bike in the exercise room does not work it does not change from 1:00 to 7:00 to get any more resistance, and when I mentioned to Tom about the note in front of me saying tell us what we can do to make you happy and as that is our goal or something he said oh well that's like giving you water bottle or something and that's ridiculous. This was the most argumentative unfriendly non-smiling disgruntled staff I have ever been up against to try to check in and it made the whole stay crazy. There was only one man who answered the phone when I asked about times for breakfast who was kind and I don't remember his name.

Got bed bug bites at the Hampton Inn in Mary Esther, FL. I had over 20 bites on both arms and some on my legs. Called and got the run around because I reported after I noticed it when I was after I checked out. I called customer service and the general manager was supposed to call me within 3 days. He didn't so I called again and they said he talked to me which he hadn't. So I was finally connected to guest services to give me points but after my experience during this ordeal I will never stay at another Hilton owned hotel. I see why all my friends stay at Marriott or better. had to go to Urgent Care and the Physician said that I would have to get a shot and antibiotics due to the amount of bites I had.

$75.00 Pet fee is outrageous for one night. Maybe should be refundable on a case by case basis. My dog is well behaved probably as are most that travel. Would pay a $25.00 refundable but $75 is a lot.

Very disappointed in you pet $75 fee. I will never use the Hampton again. I have always gone to the Hampton, but never again. My dog is well trained. I'm sure you don't care. I'll find place else to stay with my dog who cares.

My husband and I have always stayed at Hampton Inns when we travel, but we will not be staying at this one ever again. We travel with a small dog (11 pounds) who is very well-behaved. She is non-shedding, doesn't chew furniture or have accidents, and is never left alone. It is common for a nice hotel to charge a nominal fee for a pet-we understand this, and have gladly paid the $25 nightly charge at every other Hampton Inn that we have stayed at since their corporate office instituted this charge.
We were in for a rude surprise when we checked out of the Hampton Inn in Nacogdoches, however. The pet fee at this Hampton Inn was $75 per night-three times what other Hamptons charge. We were not informed of this non-refundable fee in advance, even when we signed their pet authorization form. Yes, this charge is mentioned on their website-good luck finding it, however, especially when you book through a third-party site, or assume that all Hampton Inns charge the same amount for a pet.
I get that their rooms were recently renovated, but our little dog did not damage the room or furnishings at all. Most people would have left a bigger mess than she did (none). We always tidy our room before we leave, and make sure to leave a tip for the housekeeper. For the $75 extra we had to pay for the 9 hours we were there (not to mention the price we actually were charged for the room), we could have stayed at the Red Roof Inn for three nights.
We would have, and always have been, willing to pay an extra $25 per night for our pet. But $75 per night is unreasonable and untenable. We even would be willing to pay the $75 up front if it were a refundable fee, knowing that we would get at least $50 of it back after proving our dog did no harm to the room. But a non-refundable pet fee of $75 PER NIGHT is beyond ridiculous.
It seems to me that Hampton Inns is in need of a uniform corporate policy to regulate what individual hotels can whiz you for a nightly pet fee.
We will not stay here again.

We stayed in the Hampton Inn in Fort Wayne Indiana on Dupont Road. Dec 9-10 2222. Very disappointing as a nice day. Upon arrival the foyer dining room area front desk floors were very dirty. Elevator had trash on the floor and we got off on the third floor there was nasty floors the carpet was nasty. The hallways of the hotel were cold as if no heat. Our room and furniture that was chipped or discolored missing trim on the floor the bathroom had two by fours holding the sink base up the toilet had not been cleaned. Towels were just sitting on the counter of the sink. Our room smelled like old smoke. I would give this hotel on Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne, IN a 0 for review.

The hotel is nice but the breakfast is extremely poor. They never follow the typical Hampton inn type of foods as they claim hey are either out or the delivery never came in. They have hadvtrail mix for oat meals for weka, no hard boiled eggs, applied milk, today no waffles or bagels, etc..

We stayed at the Hampton Inn (Downtown Coliseum) in Jackson, MS on June 3rd. There were MANY inoperable features at this hotel. TWO were serious safety issues:
1. Outer back door, keyless entry, was broken and the door was "propped open"
2. An EXIT door was useless and shattered, with a sign saying, "Out of Order"

The other issues included a broken ice machine and and inoperable elevator. I have photos...!

Lastly, the staff had no water available at the breakfast and demanded payment for a water bottle.

Hotels need to have some rooms for people who want a room that an animal hasn't been in. We try to always stay at Hampton Inn
but recently left a Hampton when they didn't have a room that an animal hadn't been in.

Also at our recent stays the only choice for waffles was two flavors
and no plaIn waffle mix. Over a two week period staying at different Hampton Inns the only waffle mixes were flavored. If they are going to offer two choices why can't they have one flavored and one plain. I was told they rotate the flavors but I never got a choice for plain. They should offer the plain every day and rotate the flavors daily.
