I was cheated out of a buy one get one free sale. I asked the clerk of the products I was buying were part of the sale and he looked into his phone apparently going to the website and said no. After I got home my son looked it up and showed me it was part of the sale. I called up the store and they were rude to me even hung up the phone. I asked the guy I was speaking to why he hung up the phone like that and he said that the conversation was over and he didn't have anything else to say to me. I told him that at least he could've coordinated with me picking up the product and an apology would be in order since now I have to leave my home in 90 degree weather to go and get what should've been in my bag from my initial visit to the store and he hung up again. This store is located on 1947 Westchester ave in The Bronx. The clerk I dealt with initially was Cesar and the other was Daniel and he mentioned Andy. I will never buy at that store ever again and I advise others to be careful with these guys.

Reference to store located at: 5300 North Sandario #142a, Laredo, TX 78041. On 08/04/2023 I waited and hour for the store to open (10-11). 11am (opening time) rolled around and store was still closed. Employee arrive 6 minutes after and opened the gate. At this point I wouldn't have complained but because of what follows warrants a complaint. Employee opened the gate (didn't acknowledge my presence (say hi) or apologize for GNCs short fall of opening on time (both aspects of customer service). I continue to walk into to purchase a cold protein shake only to notice the shift that closed yesterday 08/03/2023, failed to restock the cold inventory. It's notable that they had the required inventory on the shelves for individual sale. I left to a continued cold shoulder from the associate. Main complaints are simple. Employees not doing what I know GNC pays them to do.

Ordered online this morning at 7am. Paid for same day delivery for an extra charge. Was to be delivered by 10pm today. Received GNC email that order was on its way at 10am. Called at 3pm for update on delivery. GNC rep spoke to Shipt (WHO DON'T SHIP!) that order would be delivered between 7pm and 8pm. Recvd voicemail from Shipt at 7pm that order was cancelled. It's now 10pm and order not delivered. Total fraud! I would not have ordered from GNC or paid for same day delivery if I had known that they would not deliver on their PROMISE!

I didn't wanted to do this but after what I experienced at that store was unbelievable! He had me waiting til he finished his duty before closed the store which I had 30 minutes before closing. He walked passed me without eye contact, I greeted him and he blow me off,walked up to the register and stood there like a zombie just waiting for me to grab whatever I needed so that I can leave, to make it worse, every time I would asked a question he would get frustrated, it got to a point that I just had to leave because it was bad I didn't want to get into a fight with him because I felt if I said something wrong he would off set him off to fight me at that point. It felt like a when you have to put up with someone you really hate at work that you're stuck with on your shift. This is the first time in my life I ever wrote or sent a compliment. I drove an 30 mins to this store to end up leaving mad as hell to drive another 30 mins to Sanford to a vitamin store because off this guy. I will never go back EVER again! Orange city location next to Publix is the here this happened.

Shopping at GNC was the worst experience ever I have been shopping there for years and the customers service there is terrible. The employees do not know the products they are selling no Knowledge you asked them what would be the best thing to take for a specific element they have an attitude and direct you to take something that has nothing to do with what you need. On employee was very nasty her demeanor was horrible she had a horrible smell upon her and was cursing she worked at the Armingo location. I would not recommend anyone to shop there the employees presentation and stature is horrible. I wanted to return an item she became agitated then she made and received a personal phone call on her phone. An investigation needs to be done. This was not the first time with this young lady. Her tag said Destiny. She didn't have the store door open I was standing outside for a while. Then came to the door and said oh my bad sorry. I saw her from the door sitting in the back of the store on her phone looked like a storage area she kept looking up to her left and smiling as if someone else was in the back with her.
Better employees are needed I work for a radio station and this would make bad reviews if no changes are made. Aramingo Ave. and Liberty place GNC terrible employees I watch the employees interact with their managers and it is unprofessional.

I enjoy being serviced by the manager at GNC on Armingo Ave. He treats his customers with care. He needs better workers, reliable. He is a hard worker. I see him do more then his employees. The employees are not helpful they have poor customer service skills, not professional do not know much about the products. The manager is excellent with serving his customers. I went in there one day and the young lady smelled like marijuana both female workers at GNC. I don't think I want to go there any more the two females are there. I am a loyal customer. I will share this information. The females need to be fired that is not good for the business!

I am a frequent customer and I have been treated poorly by an employee there her name Destiny. She was cursing and came into the store smelling like marijuana. Her conduct with her boss was inappropriate I saw both acting inappropriate and speaking unprofessionally with each other. I would never recommend that store for anyone to shop at. The customer service there is poor. Location Armingo Ave.Where do find your employees. She was horrible. I others will nolonger shop at that location. I hope she is removed.Fox 29 should come out to that location and run an investigation. The store was left unattended and she in the back door open I was standing in the store for a while another customer had the same complaint. She came out smelling like marijuana. Someone needs to put a stop to this.

The Galax Virginia store is corrupt in form of District Manager Kristie Meadows. They treat their employees like garbage. They hire 3 people that was not needed, and then cut all their hours to 2 days a week. How can anyone support their family like that? The store manager Kimberly, brings her friends into the store while on the clock, to drink and smoke weed in the back of store. Her friends also happen to be underage. She sells pro memberships by stealing supplies and offering to the customers for free as incentive to get the pro memberships. For example when a customer comes in she well sell them a pro memeberhsip which is $40 and give them an item for free. Such as a $65 Mass Gainer.

If you do not sell enough pro memberships you get written up. How is that fair if said employee is working two days a week, and the location of the store is in a rural area in which barley a handful of customers come in a day?

The previous store manager quit because the district manager Kristie was being sexist. Only men get written up.

GNC teaches their employees to pester costumers until they buy a membership. If you don't sell enough memberships you get fired, I have a close friend that worked for a GNC and as an attorney I told him several times he would have a lawsuit if he wished to pursue one. I have walked into a gnc before and seen people drinking and doing drugs In the back office area clearly visible from the rest of the store. One day the police are gonna find out what's going on and someone is going to be in trouble.

Store manager at GNC store 3039 route 50 in saratoga springs new york was very very rude tonight. First off there was a note posted on the door at 4:30 pm that he was out on break. I returned a 30 minutes later and found store was back open. I thought it odd that a break was taken so close to closing time at 6pm. Anyway I got my vitimans and waited patiently in line to check out. At the register is when his attitude was RARE!! He ask me for my phone number which I gave him, he replied i was not in the system. He wanted my email address. i said "No just ring me up". He asked again for my email i again said "no just ring me up". Well he apparantly did not like my response and proceed to berate me about my attitude. "That he was not from around here and I better not speak to him like that." I did not back down I told him I wanted my purchase or we will call the police. He ROARED at me "you aint getting nothing I am manager and get out of my store." I repeated i wanted my purchase and that he had 2 choices call the police or sell me my purchase of vitimans. At one point he took off his head set came around the corner at me to physically attack me. I just stood there, he finally used very foul language at me and "sold me my sh** and get out". This man is dangerous and NOT customer friendly. He was working in Saratoga and had a "gang" attitude and said he was from Westchester. He should NOT be allowed to be around the public, he is a DANGER.

I contacted GNC with concerns regarding a foreign body embedded into the gelatin capsule of a Calcium supplement. The customer service rep got my email wrong and the chat line was useless. I found a piece of plastic in some pet food, they opened an investigation and sent me coupons worth $70. GNC has yet to reply to my emails and seems less concerned about humans than Purina does about animals.

Gnc is the least reliable retailer. You place an order in line it shows in stock then the cancel one item at a time. When you call customer service is out of the country, they can't understand you and lie to you and do not document the calls. They claimed the were reshaping my order from a store that had the items in stock, they created a dummy order them cancelled it right away. I spent 3 hours on the phone and was directed to drive an hour and a half and to call them from the store and they would give them the code for the discount since they did not have the full stock. After 3 hours and 7 people I'm told that there is nothing that can be done but the item was back in stock and the order was reshipped as soon as I was off the phone the order was disconnected. I was then promised point on my account for the inconvenience that never happened, I called back the representative that answered was obviously sleeping and kept yawning on the phone and tells me that it was not noted in my notes.

They are very unreliable and not trustworthy!

I went to a GNC store near me and asked a simple question about which protein powder will aid in weight loss. The sales associate then decided it was appropriate to ramble on for 20 minutes about how I need superfoods, multivitamins, greens, what I need to eat, and how I need to exercise. I did not have the time or energy for a lecture. He barely let us get a word in and I was about to tell him to leave us alone. As a plus size woman I shouldn't feel unwelcomed in a store that promotes health and wellness. We have gone to this location before and there's been more relaxed sales associates ready to help when I need it and they'll answer my questions straight to the point and actually help us.

I signed up for a monthly subscription for vitamin supplements. The first month everything went fine. The next month they sent me the wrong item. They gave me the run around when I contacted customer service but finally agreed to a replacement. The third month they showed the item shipped but never received by FedEx. Again customer service gives me the run around stating they have a policy they they will escalate the complaint, investigate the issue and contact me within 72 business hours. I don't hear from them so I contact them again and get the same story, they will escalate, investigate the complaint and contact me within 72 business hours. It have been 15 days and no one has contacted me.

I was deceived by the Fremont branch. When I purchased my supplements. The rep sold me on this online box you pay up front then of course it never arrives go back to store for refund oh no call customer service who gives you a completely different story of what you purchased and we dont give refunds. GNC scammed me and many others. WITH THAT MY BUSINESS WILL GO ELSEWHERE!

I was supposed to receive a shipment with two bottles of hair skin and nails right by Vitafusion. I received only one bottle and no packing slip. I have called several times to try to rectify the problem and was told that I was going to get a shipment. This was about threeweeks ago. When I did not receive my shipment and no notification that it was not coming. I then called customer service. I was told that the shipment that was sent was damaged.The woman that I spoke to told me that I have three options. I could get reimbursed, have another shipment sent, or get a gift card for the amount that I purchased along with a $10 gift card. I chose the last choice. It ihad been now Been well over a week and I have not received this in the mail.. The woman that I spoke to told me that I have three options. It is been over a week and I have not received this in the mail I have been a good GNC customer for many years and I've never had a problem with the online shipments. I am getting to the point where I would no longer want to be a GNC customer as a result. I can't believe the lack of professionalism with the online company.

I bought goldenseal pills from the store and to take advantage of the sale the store ordered two more goldenseal bottles. When I got the package by mail the wrong item was enclosed. Because I had bought the goldenseal bottle from the store I didn't open the package until about two months later.When I opened the package it was not goldenseal but guarana. I called customer service and they refused to give me a credit for the mistake. This was done by a supervisor who said it was outside the 30 day limit for returning items. She was really unreasonable Given the fact that I told her about the bottle I ordered from the store. Terrible customer service and they won't use GNC again.

I would like to give a positive comment for Kelly at the gardens mall in palm beat gardens. She was so helpful explaining and helping which vitamins to choose since the store was out of the bee pollen I was looking for. I had an opportunity to use GNC Total Lean Shake Banana flavour. My concern is its taste extremely sweet which overpowers the pleasant taste.It made it difficult for me to comply and finish the portion . I recently visited the GNC store in King of Prussia, as I walked into the store. I was immediately greeted by Allie, she was so polite, knowledgeable and provided fantastic customer service. Customers are so quick to right bad experiences and we over look the good that employees. That truly care and are passionate about what they do. Allie is one of those employees. I was in a local GNC here in my home town of Yakima Washington. The location was on 40th off of Lincoln Ave, across from a Fred Meyers store. I went in curious about some products I researched online for my hormonal issues. The clerk that catered to me was amazing she new the ends and outs if every single product I was curious about. She new everything about interactions and how best to use, what to ecspect, and how long to use. Well I called to let a manager know what a great employee they had. Well she was intact the manage . Her name is Unique. So I will leave this as a remark. If you live in Yakima Washington and need advice or any questions about the products carried at GNC just ask Unique.she won't stear you wrong. Twice in the past week I have visited the Downtown Seattle store only to find their system down. It seems to be an ongoing problem. I would hope that they remedy this continual problem and reward the poor gentleman, Morgan, who is always there and is so professional. I wish him well and would like to continue to shop there but my frustration with their computers is wearing thin.

I had the worst experience from the Roseville Galleria GNC store, but the Arden GNC turned it to a good one. This is how everything went,I checked online and saw the GNC Burn 60 for $9.99 deal of the day. I went to Arden and learned that they do not price match your online gnc deal. That was all understandable and it's company policy. Then I got home, decided to order couple online, and it wasn't letting me check out at all. So I called 1800 and found out that there are some supplements that are restricted to be shipped in CA. So I was about to give up, then saw online that there was a coupon that I can get the $9.99 deal IN STORE! printed that coupon and called GALLERIA GNC. This is around 730pm CA time (incase you need to know who the employee is) August 12 Monday is when all this happened. The employee that answered guaranteed there are still burn 60 available, without even checking! I know, becoz te moment she answered the phone, I asked what time they close and if its available, and she answered without leaving the phone (im pretty sure she didn't check becoz I got to the store and the burn60 shelf is right by the entrance door). We rode the bike for 13miles before getting to the mall (not becoz we don't drive, but we decided to exercise. So we got to galleria at 840, realized its gone! I asked if she can check arden since I was there earlier and they have one, she answered with "I checked up to 75miles and non is available), all I want is for her to call arden and tell them the situation so they will accommodate my coupon the next day. Since all of whats happening is worst already as customer service. She didn't want to call since she is almost closing the store(One young lady, who seems really nice, but my complain is she didn't even try to help) She wrote down the company number to complain. Really?? That was the solution?
All this for the $9.99 product?? Becoz I experienced buying $70 item and it doesn't work and im not a returner even policy says 30days money back guarantee. I do not write this long of a complain, but your customer service needs some re-training to be done. GNC needs to hire people that wanted their job, like the other 2 guys from Arden. Do not hire young kids who doesn't care but to ring and doesn't know anything about the product.
I was at arden the next day decided to stop by and make sure they are out, guess what! they have 1! THAT JUST RUINED MY DAY! I was so upset, that I have to talk to the guys. And they let me use the coupon and accommodate me for the item. Guy named Nate and His manager. White guy really tall and bulky (forgot his name) Im sure they will remember me coz they feel horrible for my experience in general.
I work retail, and believe me, the company will do EVERYTHING to have a happy customer. GNC seems to not care about customer service. I would never go to any GNC except the arden one. I am a gold member too! I was close to swearing not to buy anymore from GNC, protest it and spread bad comments, but I guess the arden store made me gave it another chance.
I hope this serves as a heads up to managers that hires your employees. Make sure they know what a customer service means. Specially when someone is sweaty and appears to be so tired and frustrated just to get to your store, you just don't shuuu them away. $$ is money, but customer comments can get GNC loose couple customers.
Please commend the arden team specially the two employee that turned it to a better experience.

I would like to speak to someone about my employment. I enjoyed my job at the gnc warehouse in leetsdale pa. I was wrongfully terminated from my position this week due to another employees actions that were completely out of my control. I was terminated because SHE brought drugs to work. She admittedly made a statement saying it had nothing to do with me. I was only her ride to and from work. I offered to take a drug test, an have my bags searched. I had no idea she brought, or even possessed the substance. She stated she only told me she "dropped it" which I stated was incorrect. If she did in fact say that to me I must of misheard her words! I was an excellent employee and did not deserve to be terminated weeks before my sons birthday/daughters memorial and christmas time. I would love to have my job back, and I have been told that is not an option. I plan to outwardly publicly speak about my circumstance with this company as a single mother terminated for something I had nothing to do with! If thats how a company treats their employers, imagine how they treat/package/ store expensive product and clients. I would very much so appreciate my job back that is rightfully earned by myself.
