I'm not sure you can count on anything they tell you. It took 3 days to fill a prescription for Warferin. I'm traveling and from out of state. Service was very snobbish, wouldn't explain what the holdup was. I'll never go back there.

I usually come to the Kent Fred Meyer for grocery shopping but today I felt like I was racially profiled, and was asked to show my receipt. There were other customers who left the store before me, who weren't asked to show their receipt. Even when I entered the store to do my shopping and customers were leaving with their stuff Wasn't asked for their receipt.
So it didnt make sense to me when I was asked for my receipt.
If Fred Meyer's would like to check receipt, then the company should be fair and to it to every single person that leaves the store. Not pick and chose, just because I was a brown skinned person, with different enthicity background.

I have shopped for 40 years at the Richland store. Yesterday I was almost run over by one of the employees with a bid blue cart that was speeding through a busy aisle. Many of the newer employees have no regard for the shoppers.

This is specifically for the pharmacy. Fred Meyer pharmacy staff lack any sensitivity or empathy for human suffering. Not knowing anything about me the pharmacist mainly said there are 400 people ahead of you and you can just wait your turn. A lady at the front counter said to come back in 45 minutes for prescriptions that have been called in hours earlier. When I returned one of the two had been filled. They admitted they had the other one they just hadn't gotten around to filling it and I could continue to wait. But by no means will I being forced to do anything. A different woman checked me out with the one and only prescription I received. She clearly hates her job and communicated with his few words as humanly possible. This is routine for her as she always is glaring and frowning at people at her window when I'm in your store. When people are suffering a little human kindness goes a long way. The Fred/Kroger Brand should be embarrassed and ashamed to be associated with this pharmacy.

Cashier Pauline in Burien wa real bad customer service. Rude as hell. She don't greet with a hello when I said hello. I will never shop at the Burien Fred meyers cause all the cashiers are rude. I will be using self check out lines so they wouldn't need any cashiers with their attitudes.

We have shopped for years @ Fred Meyer's. We have had nothing but problems using our App for digital savings. We have only had it work successfully one time for us. Today we decided to try it again. We went right up to a manager and asked him if we were doing it right. We added all the items we wanted with the digital coupons. The manager told us to not worry if it doesn't work to just tell our cashiers to give us the digital discounts. We went to check out and the cashier told us she couldn't do that without a manager. She left and tried to find a manager. My husband bagged all the groceries because there wasn't any employees bagging. She came back and asked us which items we wanted digital savings. There was a big line behind us as it was 4th of July weekend. My husband told her to forget it.
We are tired of not receiving the digital savings. Our reward cards so be all anyone needs. We are not uneducated. We have missed out on alot of savings when yall implemented digital coupons. I feel sorry for all the elderly and low income people with children who cannot receive the savings either. We will be shopping @ other stores like Walmart, Winco & Broulim's who do not have digital coupons. We have asked several managers and cashiers to relay our frustrations about this.

So my bf had bought two pairs of shorts yesterday morning, and didn't like them, he asked me to return them on my way to work.
So once I get up to customer service, the worker tells me that the tags do not match the shorts, and calls over a manager, who comes over and gives me back the shorts, tags, and my receipt and tells me that they can not accept the return because they don't match the tags.
Confused as hell, once my bf got home did he realize that I had grabbed the wrong shorts. So I ended up taking them back to the lynnwood location after work, (which is closer to me) with the correct shorts and tags.
Once at customer service, the worker scanned my receipt, and tells me she could not do my return because the shorts are showing up as "item returned". So I explained my mistake and that I had tried to do the return at Bothell Everett Highway store, but I grabbed the wrong shorts. She calls the Bothell Everett highway store, and the lady that had helped me earlier that day, told her that I had came in at 2:30 and returned the shorts,
So this morning, my bf and I had to drive back up to the Bothell Everett Highway store, unfortunately the lady that helped me yesterday was not there, and upon trying to explain to the customer service worker what had happened, she tells me that the shorts had been returned, and I tried to explain that the lady yesterday told me she could not do my return because I had the wrong shorts, but when I went back with the correct shorts it was showing returned. She continued to tell me that it was not possible for the lady yesterday to return the items without actually returning them, and since the system was showing that the items had been returned there was nothing she could do. So again I tried to explain that the lady yesterday wouldn't accept my return, but somehow completed the return. Again she tells me that's just not possible, but yet, here we were, so it is possible. So I ask for the manager, who comes over and basically said the same thing, and asked me if I had the receipt from when I tried to do the return there the day before, and again had to explain that she told me she could not do the return because I had the wrong shorts, so now I'm trying to do my return because I grabbed the right shorts.
Finally the manager just said that he would do it for me.

The entire time I felt as tho they thought I was trying to pull some scam, just repeating that there's no way that the customer service lady could NOT of done the return without actually doing it, and I kept asking then why are the shorts showing up as returned, when I have the receipt, tags, and shorts right here in front of us. They couldn't give me a reason, other then I must've returned the shorts,

I feel like the manager should be asking the lady that first helped me and find out why she gave the customer the receipt and items back, told the customer that she could NOT do the return, but actually DID complete the return, and didn't give the customer their return receipt, or their money back...
I'd like to know how and WHY this customer service lady was able to do something that I was told wasn't possible.
For all I know, she could've pocketed my cash from the return. Apparently according to the manager, there's no way she could've done the return without actually doing it, well, it seems that she can, and it makes me wonder how many times she's told someone she couldn't do their return, but actually did complete the return and is keeping the cash. No one would ever know.... and if someone tried to do their return somewhere else and it comes up as already returned, and they're never going to think that it was a worker that is scamming the company.

Think about it.....

There's a little guy with a bad haircut named Ted at the scappoose Fred Meyer. I guess you're in management if you wear a little red vest. This guy definitely needs to be sent to management training. Overheard him saying very rude things about a customer who was just waiting in the checkout line. The saddest thing is I know the person he was talking about who is a very nice person. I hope the other person he was talking to, who also was wearing a red vest, turned him in for slanderous comments and overall rude behavior.

Scappoose Fred Meyer is the worst. Witnessed on the clock employees starting fights with customers. Management acts like high schoolers talking down to customers to their faces and then talking badly about them to outher employees as they are leaving check out. What happened to being respectful to customers and professionalism. The customer is always right when working with the public. At least that's how it was in my day. My family spends a great deal of money at a store that shows little to no respect towards the very people who pay their wages. The customer.

Came in for bike tube didn't have the size I needed been 2 month sense the last time I came in for one figured they would have one by now still out but sell bikes bike parts but can't supply tubes I'm glade we have amazon.com they will get most of my services now and Albertsons for food

I tried five times to return an item that was recalled. Finally I just left it on the counter. It's not worth my time to stand for an hour for a $5 refund. The staff is so slow I have to wonder if they are told to do that on purpose so customers will just leave.

Home Delivery: for the 2nd time, multiple PENDING charges on my bank account. Which ties up my money until they fall off. 3 to 10 days!
When trying to call Corporate you get re routed back to the people you already talked too.
It is clearly their system flaws yet they take no responsibility. So I have no access to MY money until those charges fall off!! $359.00. Very upset!! Will NEVER use them again...enough of this!!

I have been shopping FM for 15 years here in Klamath Falls, oregon. All of the carts are very dirty, most won't steer straight. The check out people are all rude, comsummed with themselves. The renovation is awful, stuff toooooo high, not consistant. Dip crap appearal is just what I said. Never going back. Sherms has all my business now, along with several of my friends.

Just tried to update my expration date on my credit card on line. Fred Meyer wasn't able to do that. Called customer service. They couldn't take my number of my card as it is confidential. They asked me if I had activated my card.DUH!. They asked me to update my email on line. Can't do that either as it immediately takes you to an ad and you can't get back to confirmation screen. I have successfully updated my card on several other sites. Finally deleted my card and entered husband's card. Same account, but a different card. Worst customer service ever. Other complaints: They charge for cash back. Only grocery store that does that. They require ID from all customers to buy alcohol. I am 68 years old and obviously over 21. Because Fred Meyer can't train their staff in selling alcohol, their customers are being punished.

CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS GONE DOWN HILL CONSISTENTLY AND I FIND MYSELF SHOPPING AT OTHER STORES MORE OFTEN.

The downtown Puyallup Fred Meyer needs to do an overall of their customer service desk employees. Especially the male who works there. I came in on Sunday April 30 2023 at 650 pm and he was so incredibly rude! Treated me like I somehow made a fake 20$ chase money order. That's the second time I've dealt with him and you can tell he's unhappy with his life so he takes it out on loyal customers who've spent thousands there. It seems like he just makes up rules as he goes and decides whose worthy of his precious time. Honestly if he's there I'll avoid him at all costs. He's not good at his job and needs to check his attitude at the door.

PHOTO PRINTS: FM used to be my go-to place for photo prints. As of April 26 2023 the pursuit is impossible: I get a warning that the website is not secure or private, and, when I try an end-run, I cannot order prints at all. AWFUL.

I went shopping at the bakerview Bellingham store in Washington as I have for many years. My healthy foods card from my insurance company has been accepted there many times but they refused it this time. I called my insurance and told them exactly what i rang up and he said it was all eligible. He didn't know what the problem was and told me that I wasn't the first to complain. He advised me to go to Safeway. I live 40+ miles from Fred's round trip and further from Safeway. I will go the extra from now on. At least I won't go home with no food or I won't waste my gas anymore. My suggestion is to just say you don't honor the card and save your customers the headache, time and money when you reject it.

Please, alot of older folks who shop at Fred Meyers are doing good to have a phone to shop digitally. I could but.phone does not hold a charge long enough. I look at ads thru this.printed way and shop those, otherwise I shop add at Safeway. Good luck in your endeavor!

We are customers (23 years) of the Salmon Creek store on Tenny road in Vancouver WA. The store is presently being rearranged. The rearranged food products are now being stacked to a height of 8 or 9 feet in most every aisle. The effect is that of walking in tunnels instead of aisles. Is this really necessary?

Fred Meyer has gone to crap ,20 cash registers with 4 open for service.Freddys puts those little sale signs with small print ( I'll bring in my magnifying glass next time Kroger) and now you can get a discount with your Freddy's card and the digital coupons added to it. Oh thanks if I could read the fine print on the label that 1 foot off the floor. Good lord you computer savey beauties what's next face recognition, fingerprints dna I've had enough of your baloney. Will pay more elsewhere goobye

Fred Myers off Hawthorne and Chavez use to be a nice store. I was checking out at SCO and all I heard was two employees talking very negative about another employee, what gentleman to be a door greeter (Sam) and Self Check Out (Nick).

I am sick and tired of your gas station at Fred Meyer Oak Grove in Milwaukie have to in line for 15 to 20 minutes only to get turned away before I can get gas because your store can't get help or gas. Don't waist my time with this ridiculous situation if you can't accommodate your customers then close.whatvis the point of having a gas station if I the customer can't gas.
