HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!
We scheduled delivery of same day flowers to my young granddaughter in the hospital. She had surgery the day before. Even though we paid the extra fee - the flowers were NEVER delivered!!! But what really infuriates me is that no one from FTD even bothered to let me know!! I kept calling my daughter in law to see if the flowers and gift had been delivered and she said no. Finally at 6:15 PM on a Saturday I call FTD! I am told the flowers did not get delivered, would not be delivered but they will try to get to it on Monday! Are you kidding me??? If I had not called I never would have known this! I cannot believe the horrible customer service!! My granddaughter is being released on Monday, she would not have even been there! And to top it off - they would have kept the extra fee for the same day Saturday delivery! How dishonest!! Then when I tell the customer service rep to cancel the order; she proceeds to hound me to have it delivered on Monday and the will refund me $3.00 - Unbelievable!!!??? I will NEVER use this company again! This was important and they could have cared less!

I have never been more disappointed with a company. I ordered flowers for my best friends mother's funeral. I wasn't notified until exactly one week later that the florist dropped the ball and did not make the delivery. The only thing I was offered was to deliver it now to my girlfriends home or give me a refund. I finally made such a stink that they refunded my flowers and gave me a $25 coupon for future purchases. SORRY FTD IF YOU DROP THE BALL YOU SHOULD MAKE GOOD ON THE ORDER AND REFUND THE CUSTOMER. I'll chose a different florist delivery company in the future!!! Confirmation number FTJ209185

Terrible service and follow through. I used FTD.com because of the FTD reputation. I never will use them again and strongly urge you to think twice before using them. They delivered the wrong product, the product they did deliver was in terrible shape and they could not replace the product for three days because of labor day weekend and "their florists" were not open. This is in a community of over a million people. They did not redeliver the product on Tuesday as they promised me they would, and I had to call on Thursday to find out why and request a re-delivery. It was my granddaughters 13th birthday bouquet that they did not handle correctly so I was very disappointed about the problem but am more unhappy about their lack of professionalism and followup.

I ordered from an FTD company Avas Flowers. They misrepresented that they were local the flowers did not arrive on time they were not the colors I specified. They were not the kind of flowers I asked for and they were ugly. I have talked to 15 people and no one will give me my money back.

Do not order from any FTD company ever.

My husband ordered some flowers for me back in February to come for my birthday in May. He used a gift certificate to pay for part of the order. Due to some stupid mix up, they never sent the order to a local florist. And my flowers never came. So he had to ruin the surprise and ask me if I ever got flowers on my birthday. So the customer service people said they will refund us our money and gift certificate, and that they will give me a higher amount of gift certificate for all of the troubles I went through (a meager $5 increase).
Then I tried to use the certificate today to order some flowers for my mom. 1) the gift certificate they emailed me doesn't work without the pin 2) when I called to get the pin some idiot there kept telling me I don't need a pin even though I kept trying to process the order while he was on the phone with me 3) the gift certificate was not for $25, but for the original $20 to begin with
Thanks for ruining the surprise for my birthday FTD. And for giving me $5 extra for my troubles, and then taking it back. I LOVE how awesome your customer service is. In case you don't realize it, I was being sarcastic. Don't bother. They are not worth the trouble. Good thing I got that stupid certificate for free and never paid $20 for it.

This is the verbatim message I sent to FTD this evening about their horrendous service:

"On Thursday, May 7, I placed an order for 30 mixed tulips in a vase (FW33) to be delivered to my mother for Mother's Day. The delivery was made today. Unfortunately, what my mother received wasn't 30 mixed tulips but 2 red roses, 2 yellow roses, 1 white carnation and 1 pink carnation: SIX FLOWERS instead of THIRTY ... plus, they were ROSES and CARNATIONS: roses aren't tulips and carnations, well, they're the cheapest, most mundane flower you can find at the local grocery store. Worse perhaps is the fact that the message I requested be included wasn't even sent.

This evening, I had to call FTD three times about this problem. The first time, I spoke with Noel, who assured me that the correct bouquet would be delivered on Saturday, May 9 in time for Mother's Day. After getting off the phone, and after not receiving the promised confirmation email, I called back and spoke with RyanClint. RyanClint also confirmed delivery of the correct bouquet on May 9. In addition, he processed a refund of my Gold Membership because I had since decided that I no longer foresaw a long-term relationship with your company. A few moments later, I received the email confirmation of my order, but in a second email I received a message from KarlAngelo telling me that my order would unfortunately be delivered on Tuesday May 12. TUESDAY! Needless to say, it's unacceptable to deliver a Mother's Day arrangement two days after Mother's Day, so I called a third time and spoke with Julie who confirmed that the order could not be delivered before Tuesday. Accordingly, I cancelled the order.

When I pay for a product or a service, I expect to receive what I pay for. When I pay for a product or a service for my mother, I expect it to be perfect. I currently live in Paris and my mother lives in South Carolina, more than 4,000 miles away. I can't be with her on Mother's Day, and the only thing I asked FTD to do - and paid FTD to do - was to send 30 tulips before Mother's Day. That shouldn't be a difficult request for an enormous company like FTD whose business is to send flowers. At the end of the day, my mother received a mediocre bouquet and I won't pay for it. That's good. But my mother won't receive what I ordered for her, and that's not good. You clearly have a problem with your fulfillment department AND your customer service department. Get to work on that ... not for me, because you won't ever get my business again, but for your other customers who are expecting more than what this shoddy operation can deliver."

TERRIBLE! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a flower order from any company. In the old days FTD was the 'Go to' company to get flowers delivered. Now they are the worst. I ordered on a Monday for a Tuesday delivery. They advertise same day delivery, customer 'lack of' service is saying they will try to deliver on Thursday. Instead of ranting and raving for 10 pages, I'll just give the facts...
- Easy purchase (required purchase before any other options were available to see)
- Liars (spoke to 6 different south-asian reps & managers who didn't know english, but promised the "de flowaz is on de wai nouw"
- Waited all day, no flowers, called several times
- Called next day
- Their story changed from "wrong address provided", to "nobody was home" to "florist couldn't make the arrangement in time." They lied hoping I wouldn't know the better.
- Took over an hour to get someone to give me a refund (they kept offering 5% discounts and next-day delivery)
- Finally looked at other reviews, VERY glad the flowers weren't delivered because their pictures lie, the flowers aren't REMOTELY close to what is promised.
- Was very glad this was a simple love gesture to my wife, and not a critical event
- Went with a nice local florist
- Was very happy
- Will try my hardest to let everyone else know that FTD is a scam from asia.

Note: When I asked which local florist they used for the delivery, the rep, manager, then supervisor all refused to tell me who it was. They also refused to tell me where they were located & just said "off-shore". So apparently they're operating somewhere in the ocean haha jk. Seriously though. I really hate them with a passion. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not use them. I would like nothing more than seeing their scheming scamming butts go right out of business.

I ordered flowers for my daughter in law two weeks before Thanksgiving and they were to be delivered the day before the holiday. I actually was at her home that day visiting and the flowers hadn't shown up by mid afternoon. I called cust svc and was told they would contact local florist. Flowers were delivered in an unmarked van, the 'card" was printed on a piece of scrap paper using a printer with apparently very little ink. I had ordered the Thanksgiving Bountiful Duo which consisted of 2 arrangements in fall colors. They delivered ONE purple vase with pink and red flowers. Nothing even close to what I ordered. Called cust svc again and was told they could not tell me which florist delivered because they are not allowed to nor could they tell me where they were located. Got a manager who offered to have flowers picked up (how embarrassing is that). But they would not deliver another arrangement even though I had ordered two. I am going to contact the Federal Trade Commission since the transaction crossed state lines. They do not deliver what you pay for and no one has accountability. Why do we have to deal with people from other countries reading script in half English who have absolutely no intention of helping. Never again will I use FTD.

If you are considering ordering flowers online from FTD please reconsider. Yesterday I ordered flowers to be delivered today to a funeral. The delivery was guaranteed. 45 minutes before the service they called to advise me they could not find a florist to fulfill the order. Please choose a competitor over this company if it crosses your mind.

never been so embarrassed, nor so overcharged for the wrong product. They sent the wrong bouquet, wrong flowers, and a puny size, much different than the 'good' size i ordered. Never again will I trade with FTD.

FTD not only never delivered the day before Valentine's Day (as I had ordered); they called me that day to let me know they would deliver on Valentine's Day; then they didn't deliver on Valentine's Day; then they never notified me that they hadn't delivered until I inquired the next day.
Then they offered to deliver the following week for a $10 discount on a $45 order.
Not receiving flowers on Valentine's Day from your son...a big deal.

We ordered flowers through FTD.com for my aunt's funeral. The flowers they sent were drooping on one side of the vase and some of them in the middle were already shriveling and changing color. It was very embarrassing.
Emailed FTD to complain and ask for a refund. They quickly responded by email, apologized, and agreed the refund. Great.
However, a few days later, a customer service person called us and said that the florist insists the flowers were good and that she even gave us a bigger vase than was called for. I told her that, yes, the vase was disproportionally big and looked odd and that, no, the flowers were not good. She whined (really!) that the florist didn't agree. I told her that I took pictures and could send them to her. She wasn't interested in seeing the pictures. She just whined about "the florist said..." She finally said, with a definite tone of reluctance and implication that somehow we were being unfair, that she was required to follow what the customer says and would give us the refund.
A bad experience made worse by an attempt to bully us into letting it go.

I ordered a floral item on Monday for delivery the following day. I have tried since to confirm its delivery. Either I am unable to connect because of "how busy we are" or get a disconnect notice on the phone service.

I wish I had read more customer reviews of FTD before I ordered a floral arrangement for a hospitalized friend. Guided by FTD's online photos, I made my selection, choosing the second tier of flower volume ("fuller"). The arrangement that was delivered contained about one-third the number of flowers of the arrangement FTD shows on their site ~ and it set me back $73.80! Clearly false advertising. I've since sent two emails to their customer service address, and have only received automated "Do Not Reply" responses. I tried calling the customer service phone #, but there was a minimum 30 minute wait, so I bailed after about 10 minutes. My advice: DO NOT USE FTD!!! Stick with Shop Rite floral department ~ most stores have one, and their service & quality are usually excellent.

Ordered flowers for a funeral service. Visitation was scheduled 6pm on a Friday and funeral 12:30 the following day. The flowers were ordered Friday morning via their 800 number. I advised at that time if they could not deliver by 6pm Friday I needed to know so alternate arrangements could be made. The assured me they would deliver on time.
THEY DID NOT DELIVER.
Called and the customer service rep let me know that the funeral was not until 12:30 Saturday so there was no issue. She totally ignored what I had said. She finally agreed to refund the same day service fee! Wow a 3.99 refund.
I was assured the flowers would be delivered in time for the burial.
THEY DID NOT DELIVER.
When called they told me they did deliver at 3pm Saturday. I again let her know the service was at 12:30.
DON'T TRUST FTD.COM they lie and do not deliver.

Do not order for a loved one at FTD.

5 days late to an 80 y/o birthday party, embarrassing to say the least.

My order, FTD substitute with chocolate pretzel that she could not eat.

This is not a company you can rely on for proper intelligent business practices.

$211.00 and the wrong items to an 80y/o, and I'm in the Dog house on her birthday.

When I wrote, they did not respond.
When I requested my money back I did not get a response.

Don't be a moron as i was, go elsewhere.

FTD Christmas gifts are awful. The food gift basket is what we receive every year from one relative. We throw much of the contents in the garbage due to its poor quality.

Same issues, people you cannot understand. Orders taken improperly and overcharging you. Product delivered is wrong. Did I mention I was on the phone for over four hours. Now the Customer Service Manager needs to review all the transaction that occurred and immediately sees the issues but, will call me back after she reviews it all. In the meantime, I have $353 charged to my credit card for less than a $100 purchase.
