Dollar General Customer Service Complaints - page 2

Your broken bow location has gotten so bad lately, I live in broken bow and went in for a few items and ended up in a line with only one worker running register! I stood in a line backed all the way down and isle for 20 minutes not a manager in site and the other worker walked right passed the line didn't even offer to help really rude! Floors looked absolutely filthy and I stood there for quite some time staring at it so I should know! The idabel store has really come up and seems like your broken bow store has really come down lately and I don't mind driving to idabel from now on for better service because the few times I've been in the employees were always friendly and kind!

The Dollar General on HWY 64 in Rocky Mount, 27801. Is always JUNKY. Products are on the floor in just about EVERY aisle. The shelves are VERY unorganized. THEREFORE you know the employees that work there DO NOT CARE because it is always JUNKY and they probably dont care because they are not being paid enough to care that the store is JUNKY.

The store manager is a rude person and a poor representation of your company. I will not return unless he is removed as an employee.

Previous complaint case # 0350533. Dirty store, tripping hazard. Handicap persons cannot manipulate the store. Manager is lazy and don't help the coworkers. Store was closed for 2 days for cleaning and putting away, nothing done. Only 1 person working.

Really bad customer service at dg in reese Michigan. I asked the store manager if I could get help with items that were on the top shelf, which the sign says ask for assistance, she said no that was not technically for sale. I left the store

Received no greeting upon entering store. Was checked out by same cashier, again with no greeting, no conversation whatsoever. She appeared after I'd been standing at the register for a few minutes from the back, wearing shades. Not friendly, professional, or attentive. Name tag was flipped around so the name wasn't visible.

Our Dollar General in Raywood Tx use to be so nice and clean ..now there's boxes every where nothing is clean in there you trip over stuff and gave to dig to find anything ..what happen to our Dollar store ..get someone who wants to work.in there

I was shopping on the weekend at 2108 W Huntsville Ave, Springdale, AR and a cashier trying to serve me was on the phone, I talked and talked, she had a very long line and a very bad attitude

I was shopping and DG, has a barcode scanner on its website so I was scanning and all of sudden, the Manager came over to me and said where's those panties toy had in your hand, I said excuse me, she stated again where's those panties toy had in your hands, I asked her are you accusing me of stealing she said well, I wouldn't be be a pro can you buy thank you were stealing so I open my purse so hard enough. She said she wasn't about to do that of a fire with the leaves store. I did I called the regional office and they can do is offer me a polity that is not enough for me. She was having a screaming and cussing me out in front of customers.

Great success with DG in the past, but no longer. 3weeks of trying to download coupons only to receive error msg or told I'm on new device (I'm no!) and must receive code to enter account. Enter code and returned to sign in page where told, again, on new device and need to use code from text or call. Try multiple times to sign in with same results. Called company and told working on web site and try again later. No luck. 3 weeks now and nothing works. Same on tablet and phone. Neither are "new devices".
DG scam?

Today at Dollar General in Hall Summit La . I shopped. Laid my coupon on counter. Cashier came checked out my purchases. I paid got in my vehicle . Was reading my receipt. Noticed I did not get my 10$ off. I went back in. Cashier called for Debbie the manager .
She said I would have to bring my purchases back in for her to give me my 10$ back. I go get my purchases. ( I was shopping for an elderly man) when I got back the cashier came thru and accused me of taking the coupon back and she had seen it on camera. I have NEVER been accused of trying to cheat anyone. I spent 34 years in education. So therefore I have dealt with difficult people but for me this is unacceptable behavior. I told the manager I just wanted my money back I did not have to put up with attitude and there was too many dollar generals around for me to put up with this. Her reply was they do more for others then any and I could go to another. Which I did at Fairview. Got 10$ back. I had 7 coupons for the 10$. Thanks for listening. My friend is happy CV saved him 10$ but will not be going back to Hall Sunmit !

Your store is stupid

Ur store at lonoke Arkansas under some poor excuses for a person Monty. A idiot apparently like this company. Get in ur store and take care of the crap...Got a good person as MGR just the others like monnty ridgel.This is a joke.. what a company...whs the dumb ass GM...off ur butt dude...I've been in merchandising for years and this isn't I..

In McAlester, OK if you go to a Dollar General you will get very little if any service. You can stand at the counter and the staff will just look at you so you end up going to self check out. Also don't ask where anything is, they don't know.

I have been going to the dollar general market on east Charleston since it opened over 10 years ago! It was always a nice, polite place! I enjoyed going there! Now the last three times I have been there they have trump lovers working there, very prejudice and filthy mouths! I will not return, you lost a long time fan!

You all at Dollar Store Corporate Office have some of the Rides employees I have ever seen the store in. Adams Tenn store numbers 11451 they are rude ask like don't want wait on you I want be back at that store again

Why does the dollar general in Salem New York not have the summer things on buy one get one clearance prices? Every other dollar general that I have been in in the area has the summer things on clearance but not the store. We asked and they told us no.

If employees can't at least manage to be polite maybe they shouldn't be there.

I want start with very rude service at Mechanicsville,MD store was sent in by my girlfriend buy few things with her debit card told cashier she was outside waiting and I was accused of stealing her card right away and was told I was on camera so I left store told my girlfriend go back in store in things I had wanted for her was very rude experience

I normally love shopping at Dollar General and recommend the great deals to everyone, however the store on Highway 10 in Jackson Louisiana the manager has been very rude. She has accused me of throwing something at her when I tossed change on the counter. I was 2 ft from her if I had thrown anything it would have hit her! I've spoken with the district manager. He seems to be here very helpful and sympathetic, however the manager at the store is claiming that he tells her he did not tell me that he would speak to her about her behavior. Most employees at all Dollar Generals are very kind and helpful. This manager is the rudest person I have ever encountered in a store. She also is constantly on her phone while checking people out and told me that Dollar General Corporate may have one policy but she's the manager there and she makes her own policies

Dollar general in Walkerton indiana is always so dirty, unorganized. The new manager and employee is either smoking outside or running their mouth laughing and being unprofessional when customers are waiting never enough employees to take care of the customers and the store. I always see just one or two at the most in this store. I only go there when I absolutely have to. You need to close the store for a week and get it cleaned up, organized, well stocked and hire people that want to work and care about their work and yes I said people not person. Need more workers to keep the store clean and organized. How does this store pass inspections? I go to the self checkout when I have nothing marked down or discounted because self checkout messes up in these items.

I tried to do self checkout at Dollar general you won't be getting my business anymore I'll be going to regular grocery store where I don't have to do self checkout and my town has plenty I don't like so check out because well but it's not me

I was in dollar general today in Muscatine by fareway and the employee wearing black scrubs was rude as can be huffing and puffing when I asked to see an item literally mad and throwing a fit for having to do her job

Issue. So pepsi on sale. It is friday of july 4th weekend. Store near Greenwich Ohio already out of dr pepsi. In our area it is common place to be out same day as delivery. Are managers not permitted to call pepsi and have an extra delivery. Went in on a tuesday a few months back. Out of dt pepsi, told no pepsi unt Fridsy. Friday afternoon went back. Yep out again. So might think no big deal. Well i was there to buy pepsi, top soil, a few monsters, and other things on my list. No pepsi, have to go somewhere else I will get everything somewhere else. Food for thought! Poor management, poor marketing, poor pepsi reps. The pepsi might be a low margin/loss , but i am sure i had some high margin items on list too. Dovyou have District Managers, Well if you do they apparently have no control, or are not focused. Oh New London Ohio other store.

Dollar general in Lake View,Iowa SUCKS. THE MANAGER says, she doesnt care, nor do her bosses,, what we like ore dont like about the changes they made in this store. We are no longer customers of dollar general.
