I am being charged for a wrestling tournament that we would never have ordered there is nobody in the home to make such an order except my husband and myself and we definitely did not order anything just got my bill today called immediately was told the dispute had to have occurred within 24 hours we had no way of knowing about the charge prior to receiving the bill we have been customers for years no resolution said it came from our remote

I have been with direct TV since 2003. I've never had a problem with getting a technician to my house for service. The most I had to wait was maybe a few days but I called on July 11 for someone to come to my house cause my satellite dish and receiver are not working therefore I'm not getting any service. Well they told me that the earliest someone can come to my house is Aug 25! What the heck! That's over 1 1/2 months! I've never had a problem like this before. I'm not waiting over a month to get my TV service working again. I will just have to go to another service provider like Dish if I have too. Can't believe how Direct TV customer service has gotten especially with long time customers. Well sorry to say but good bye Direct TV hello to another provider.

Tried to get a new remote for thre of our four remotes- one won't work at all, one you have to play with the volume down to get it to work beyond the same switch to volume up works fine, the third remote the play button works sporadically, I have to push it 3 to 7 or 8 times.
Tha agent helping me wanted me to try to reprogram the remotes, he tried to give me directions but he kept getting mixed up then he wanted me to get the id number off the receiver that remote controlled. I have mobility issues and it just got too much for me.
I give this try at support the lowest rating.

I don't know where to start. I have belong to Directtv for 10 years and 5years with AT&T internet. The last 2 years have been horrible. Prices have been going up without notice and when you complain they offer coupons. But the service gets worst. It's like a scam, wait it is a scam.
I tried to cancel today. Wife was treated like crap and they hung up on her. I called today and they told me it would be canceled on the 4th of July. Why so they can charge me for another month. Then told me to mail my equipment in. Cancel means cancel not a month from now. I would not recommend AT&T nor Directtv to anyone. Very poor service. Be smart get hulu package cheaper and you can get everything.

DirecTV is a bonafide thief. They hide behind AT&T to steal $200 from their customers. Then they lie. They initially use the return of equipment to steal a $200 deposit and then they say it wasn't due to their equipment because they never require a deposit on service. However, AT&T tells you upfront it's because their equipment wasn't returned only to be told by DirecTV, when you request your deposit back after their service is no longer needed that it's based on your credit for service. However they can't prove your credit rating so you are scammed out of $200 without DirecTV being able to prove that's the reason you're not getting your money returned. This is a TRUMP scam. NEVER USE DIRECTV. I've been with this company ever since they initially started the business. I have been ripped off in several different ways and always told "open your legs because they are coming up in you (screwed?) literally. ?

Worst experience we've ever had.
We've been customers for 20 years and we're finally through with their unprofessionalism.
Save yourself a lot of frustration and don't use them.

I was a customer of Directv for more than 16 years. I finally ended my service last month. After being a loyal customer for that long, they treat you like garbage. Trying to get a problem resolved in billing is next to impossible. I ended my service on the 24th day of November which was 9 days into the new billing cycle. Although I no longer had service after the 24th of the month, the want to charge for the entire billing cycle until April 15th. They really exepct me to pay for service I dindn't or won't receive? I don't think so, and I refuse to pay. I am willing to pay for the 9 days I used, but refuse to pay for 21 days I did not or will not use. I think my phone lines are going to be next. At one time, At&t was a great company. No longer.

Customer service is terrible, Cannot understand anyone I speak to.
Tech for appointment is late. Equipment not working correctly. I will be adding apps and dropping this overpriced company. Also you play politics and dropped Newsmax.
This company is a Terrible. The absolute worst part is trying to get help and you cannot understand a word the person on the other end is saying. Frustration is an understatement. If you are not going to have US employees do not have them work the phones.

I've had DirecTV for at least 20 years. My bill has gone up so much over the years. I'm paying $177 without movie channels or sports channels. I tried to ask them about lowering my bill and of course they would have made me go to a much smaller package which was still only $20 difference. The one today told me that I can cancel if I want. He can barely speak English

AWFUL! It repeatedly erases the programs I want to record over and over and over and over. If you really want a program you have to monitor it yourself. Also, there are no programs at all quite frequently. They have a black screen to ask for your patience. I am out of patience with this awful company that cares nothing for those of us who pay for it. I am looking elsewhere.

Was trying to switch from Dish to Directv - was a nightmare from day one. Customer service reps can't even speak english I can understand. First one I got we set up the order but then they lied to me about the pkg price had to cancel. This happened three times Went to AT&T to complete now it's another issue bill is not what they said it would be. Called CS and they conveniently drop my call. What the hell does a consumer do with this kind of service?

What happened to DirecTV??? Have they moved "off shore"?? The Customer Service people have communication problems and don't know their products. It took over 2 hours to get new service and they still messed up the order. Then told me to call someone in the morning to fix it! They ultimately just stopped chatting with me instead of fixing the order.

Been a customner over 15 years and I cancelled my service. Direct TV offered me a 100 gift card to come back and cheaper programming. Didn't get my gift card & my monthly bill went up. Good bye Direct TV. Your a sinking ship.

I switched from Dish to Direct in Jan 2023 and was told I would receive $150 gift card. It's now March and after hours of phone calls and promises of dates I would receive gift card,today I was told rebate was not requested at point of sale I don't qualify!!!! I DON'T LIKE TO BE LIED TO OR MISLEAD!!! DIRECT TV AND AT&T ARE TERRIBLE!!! I WILL CANCEL BOTH TODAY!!!

I was charged $300.00 to leave DirecTV. I was never told about a early termination fee, I never would of signed up with them.

Sales rep made promises about pricing that included discounts, price locks and visa gift card amount that would have been approximately $50 less than our spectrum monthly bill and gave us two DVRs, locked in rates for two years, plus the same locked price for an additional two years upon renewal. He assured us that the only taxes would be no more than $6 on the two DVR devices each month. When the itemized, estimated statement was emailed to us before we finalized our contract,bit was only $4 less per month than our current spectrum service. We called the sales rep to cancel our order and he assured us the actual, final itemized statement would be at least $40 less than the spectrum bill. We agreed to go ahead with the contract if he would send us an email guaranteeing that price. He said he could do that, but that never arrived. When we called him, he never answered his phone again. Consequently we cancelled our order with everyone we could get to answer the phone and finally found someone who was very helpful and actually gave us an order cancellation confirmation number. Do your research more thoroughly than we did and you will never find yourself in this situation with DirectTV.

Disappointed that Direct TV can't reach an agreement with Fox on local broadcast. Have not been able to watch for months. Missed most of the football season broadcast . The recent censorship of Newsmax is unconstitutional and another huge blow to the people that have supported Direct TV for years. With everything going on in todays world why is it considered "correct" to silence conservative views all while supporting liberal corruption and trying to force people to buy in on the woke ways. This approach only leads to division.
On top of this pricing has gotten way out of hand, packages are more expensive because woke channels are supported not by viewer demand but by subsidies. Customers are forced to pay for channels they do not watch let along agree with.
