Ever since AT&T took over, the customer service stinks!
Used to be really good and you could speak to someone in the US . Now it's someone in The Philippines and they don't have a clue ! Very friendly but unable to help .
Very frustrating and when I need a service call it now takes weeks instead of a few days for a guy to come here .
Really bad service !

We've been customers for over 40 years and today we were treated awful! Our tv was giving a 775 not communicating with dish message. Called and the soonest a technician could arrive was going to be February 3rd???? Youd think that that would have more than 1 technician to service an area. After that many years of being a customers not a single resolution accept fit the February 3 appt. So no tv until then. I told them to cancel our subscription to DirecTV and she had the nerve to ask what we were going to do about viewing tv. First of all none of her business and secondly we have no tv to view now. Bye bye directv your service has totally gone downhill. Wont miss the headache!

I am an AT&T customer and will not use direct tv because they have cancelled conservative channels. I may cancel AT$T because of this and their affiliation with direct tv.

Why did you drop news max I have been with Direct tv for over 30 years and have over looked the mess that ATAT has made of the service but dropping NEWS MAX was the last straw and will be taking my business elsewhere good luck big mistake

Considering you have already taken ION off the air and you're threatening to take Newsmax off, my husband and I may have to have a serious discussion about totally canceling DirecTV. Most of the time all we get are reruns from previous decades and I have taken to buying DVD's and watching those every night. The only reason I have kept DirecTV is for Newsmax and Fox. It will be less expensive to buy DVD's and do away with your bias forum. It's too bad you have come to this juncture where your customers do not matter.

The last straw is LINKTV being removed from the roster - w/o it only very few channels are not serving up garbage programming, few worth viewing like CSPAN 1& 2 & MSNBC. Local channels are not worth any time. LINK has international news, foreign made films, conservation series, etc. The rest is pretty much dreck, so thanks DirectV for serving up mush for our brains. And offering plenty of that !

I called to cancel my trial for budget purposes and explained this to the representative. I was told it would be canceled and have the transcript that the trial would be over by 7pm EST. IT WAS OFF BEFORE 7AM. I reached out via chat and was told it was an estimate for time even though I told them it clearly states a specific time not an estimate. I was told there was nothing that could be done since it was canceled. That is poor customer service and DirectTV must be hard up to cancel 12 hours before the time that was clearly stated! NEVER AGAIN! To many other options.

Returned my equipment to UPS Store on 10/25/2022. UPS scanned the equipment and gave me a receipt dated 10/25/2022. I received a bill from Directv for billing period 10/28/2022 to 11/27/2022 for $105.81. I had no equipment and received to service from Directv after 10/25/2022. Directv will scam you. Stay away. I have talked to them 4 times. I have filed a Directv-Notice of dispute at Consumer Arbitration Demand P.O. Box 915 El Segundo,CA 90245. I would not go back to Directv even if it was free.

DIRECTV, ATT cancel your service before it's too late... The Bundle the worse!
The last two representatives we spoke with were understanding, but not helpful. We are still having to pay almost $500.00 for a service we cancelled three months ago. That's with NO CONTRACT! Equipment was mailed back so we didn't take a chance for being additional charges. BUT BE AWARE ATT WON'T CANCEL YOUR DIRECTV, DIRECTV WON'T CANCEL ATT, they won't tell you that when you cancel a BUNDLE service.
After 15 years of loyalty you'll it not their problem. ATT and DIRECTV is the worst experience... $500.00, NO CHRISTMAS GIFTS THIS YEAR, MERRY CHRISTMAS

I have been a customer for a long time and when I had Directv to move my services over a year ago I was up under the impression they would move me in the system also. So every time I have a issue why do I have to give the my previous address. They don't send the bill to that. address. Second, why an I paying for the NBA league pass and not getting any of the Memphis Grizzles games. I know they are not supposed to be blacked out all the time on every channel. And every time I call to get help (AFTER I GIVE MY PREVIOUS ADDRESS) your so called tech support can't fix it. They will give my a package that I didn't subscribe to for free that that day and charge me because I didn't cancel it. I have nt seen my team the Grizzles play all season unless the game is on espn or the nba channel. Please refund me my money for half the season and fix this problem or I will cancel Directv all together.

Well I just don't know where to start. The short story,
I couple weeks ago we having problems with some channels so they sent out a tec and he had to adjust satilight he happened to notice where it was placed on the roof that it was caving in so he moved to another place, we have roof damage and damage to a room where it was installed so I contacted our homeowners insurance they are not coving it because it's there fault, I was on the phone with direct tv for an hour 8 differant numbers I was given, I have reported to bbb so we will see what they say I would highly say never have one put on your roof we are not made out of money, it's there fault I want to rip everything up in house that belongs to them and deliver it to there doorstep, the price we pay hers higher higher, so thst being said going to find something else. I know we are not the only ones out there, it's like atleast 3000 dollars worth of damage caused by them rant over

The absolute shuck & jive runaround I have ever experienced. Refuse to change plan, refuse to replace remote clickers. Deliberately negate documenting request to delete Show/Starz from line up.Disconnect customer purposely over& over. Refuse to send Paper Billing. I could go on & on. Rip off, Overpriced, Obnoxious Employees & is it a wonder they have lost Mega Customers??? This Co.along with AT&T WHO NOW OWNS THEM APPARENTLY NEED TO REQUIRE THE ILLETERATE EMPLOYEES GO BACK TO SCHOOL & LEARN SKILLS. -500% SCORING!!!

We just switched to Direct TV 3 days ago. The technician was supposed to be here between 12pm -4 pm, showed up at 7 and was here until after 9 pm. We discovered we don't have the equipment and plan we signed up for. A tech was to be here today between 12pm-4pm and showed up after 6 and left about 7 pm. We still don't have what we paid for and they're sending another tech.... They are horrible.

Ordered the free week deal. Cancelled my subscription "2 Days" before my deadline was up. Have screenshots to prove it. I never trusted DirectTv after what some family and friends have said. That's why I just went with the free deal, for starters. So, I get a message from my bank saying, "my bank account went into the negative", my phone just got turned off and my bank account, over-drafted. What happened.....DirectTV took my money out, without my permission and even though I cancelled. Ok, so, that's not the fun part. I get in touch with them online and they say that I never cancelled. Even though I have the screen shots?? Why? No at DirectTv knows. I even tried to send them the screenshots of me cancelling, but they don't care. So, now, they say, "They can't cancel me online and I have to call an agent." Even though I just explained to them, my phone got turned off. They were very rude and misleading at the least. D.O.N.T do business with DirectTv. They screwed my money, day, and need to find an online streaming service!! They are thieves!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

There is not a score low enough!! I tried to sign up for the 14 day "free" offer. I spent 3 1/2 hours on the phone trying to get it set up - and it's still not right!! I should have known when they couldn't even send an email correctly!! but they did manage to bill me!! that they're experts at. I would rather pay cable's exorbitant rates that deal with that nightmare again!!
