I recently learned that my cvs caremark prescription coverage was "inactive." I was NOT NOTIFIED when this change in my account occurred. When I call, rep cannot give reason why it was cancelled ("we don't keep this info") and would not say exactly when it went inactive (we're not allowed to give out that info"). I called pharmacy and was able to determine, account went inactive 1st of this yr. No coverage for 4 months! Note: I have been making my payments on time and no changes to my insurance whatsoever! What if I was a senior on fixed income and out of blood pressure meds? I would think notifying customers of any changes to their account would be of paramount importance. I mean you ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A HEALTH CARE COMPANY, right? If I had the option to change companies I would. What CVS Caremark does is unethical and puts people's heath at risk.
