I have had nothing but great experiences with Virgin Mobile's customer support. Just recently I had an issue with my phone and Virgin Mobile resolved my issue for me. My Motorola Triumph was not holding its charge and I called Motorola and they offered to fix it, but I would not have my phone for 5-7 days and they did not offer me a loaner phone in the meantime! I called Virgin Mobile's customer support and they overnighted me a brand new phone and had me send back my broken phone (prepaid shipping)and they are going to deal with Motorola for me. Now that is customer service and I will never buy another Motorola phone.

Great URL!! Bought a phone 12/29/11 on the $45 "unlimited" plan but burned thru my 1200 minutes/mo quick and had to make two top-offs, one at $90 (12/17/11) and the other at $45 today - so I switched (today) to the true unlimited plan at $55/month. The number listed by this site was correct. There were no customer service numbers listed on my first $45 payment card nor on the VM USA URL (which says "dial 789" on the keypad which did not work at all). The correct number listed on ContactHelp.com was the same one my sales rep wrote down on a piece of paper for his own use to set up my account on the day of purchase (just found it in my phone retail box). This site is awesome, and includes problem escalation which I did not have to use today. The customer service person was very good today. Thanks! M. Johnson

So far I have had multiple problems with my Virgin Mobile Optimus V phone and have had no problem with the representatives helping me, they have done a great job atm and have helped me get things working.

I'm 17 years old and I've been with Virgin Mobile for 6 years. I started off with the AudioVox Snapper, then the Switchback, Oystr, Wildcard, X-TC, Rumor 2, Mantra, Optimus V, and now I have the Motorola Triumph. If there's every an issue with my service or phone at all, I just call and let them know and they fix it right away. My $25 unlimited plan is great. I don't get very good service in my town but thats the only bad thing.

I personally have had no problems with Virgin mobile. Sure the customer service isn't the best...but seriously, name a cell phone company that actually has GOOD customer service. I also have an ATT line and they are more of a beating to call than Virgin. Everytime I have had an issue they have resolved it and I have been satisfied. I live out in the country and sometimes the signal is bad but thats the same with Sprint, ATT and TMobile in my area. I don't understand why so may people get so pissy with this company. The plans are great and very inexpensive...

I had to call customer service several times about activating my phone, because I was porting my number in to them from Net10. They were friendly and helpful each time, and explained things well without transferring me all over or long wait times. Their customer service was much better than Net10's.

I recently reactivated my android phone but had no 3G data service. The technician was very helpful and solved my problem. I am educated and did not attend public schools which is why most of these people are complaining.

I have had this service for a year now. I did have a hard time understanding the customer service rep because of their accent but one I was done talking to then because not only did they fix my problem but they gave me extra minutes for the trouble. Too me the service is not great but its good for the $25 price that I pay per month..I cant really complain((:

I see that this is the bashing board for Virgin Mobile. Now, I agree, that it is hard sometimes to get in touch with someone and when you do, it is almost impossible to understand them, but, take your time, listen carefully and you will probably start understanding them. If you start a call to customer service off by being pissed, you are going to get the same response. I have been a customer for 4 years or more and like (not love) their phones and their service.

I purchased a LG Optimus V on black friday for $49 and love it. It is my first 3G phone. I did not however, try to contact customer service or do anything other than switch my phone online. I try to do everything online so I do not have to deal with customer service. While not he best phone service out there, if you play it right, you get what you pay for. Good Luck everyone!

I am reading everyone's comments and I seriously don't understand why majority of you write negative comments. I don't know if maybe its where you're from or what but I have no problems with the customer service. I call them every month to add my top up card to my plans and I SWEAR they have always been very helpful and understanding. The only time I called for something else was to find out why the internet on my phone was not working but it got fixed immediately :)!!! I love virgin mobile its so affordable and I have 5 bar coverage in most of the areas. I never get dropped calls, lagged message receiving and sending, and or slow internet service thanks VIRGIN MOBILE :)

For The Most Part , Virgin Mobile Is OHKAY. It Could Be Much Better Thou . Ive Been A Customer For Over A Year Now . The Phones Arent Always The Best But , NO Phone Is Perfect . For The Most Part , You Get What You Pay For . I Kind Of Dont Like The Fact That They Have To Put Their Logo On Every Phone , But I Think That Every Company Does That . Not That Im Ashamed To Have A PrePaid Phone But , EVERYONE Doesnn Have To Know . Im About To Buy A New Virgin Mobile Phone , Thou . I Feel That I Should Give Virgin Mobile Another Chance . Since They Arent Terrible. I Like That The Plans Arent Expensive Thou .

People love to complain but rarely give praise. I've used VM for about a year now with an Optimus V and a Rumor Touch. Customer Service has always been helpful (although sometimes hard to understand.) The no contract, dirt cheap monthly rate offsets minor issues for me. Signal strength can be spotty but that's Sprint's network, not Virgin Mobile. Love my phone.

While it would be extremely easy to write a complaint, overall my experience has been positive. It does seem that I have to call twice to resolve an issue, but the representative is never rude and I always treat them with respect and courtesy. Maybe I'm a realist and recognize that I'm essentially paying for a dirt cheap phone plan, not Platinum Card service. I'm not making an excuse for them, but it's a trade-off. That being said, the reps have all been pleasant individuals and I feel do the best they can.

two days ago I called the customer service with a heavy heart, after reading all the bad reviews they got, thinking my experience would be the same. but it actually turned out so much better than I thought. I forgot names, but I first got connected with a live adviser and I told him that I wanted to switch to my old number from another company. he took down some of my info and then connected me to another guy, who was extremely helpful and patient with me. he made the process really easy, and he went through the procedure with me step by step to make the switch successful. I bought an LG Optimus and I'm with the $35 plan, and so far so good. if anyone is debating on whether not to switch to virgin mobile, do it! if you're tight on money like me, you should switch, because so far I'm happy with the decision I made.

I had some bad experiences initially but once I had the phone and plan I wanted, I have nothing but good comments to make. It costs far less than other plans and provides me everything I need.

Honestly I have very few problems with my Virgin Mobile service. It seems that everyone else around me does. I like my $25 a month plan. The service people are always very helpful to me. Maybe because I cussed them out really hardcore one time and now they fear me. But I love my virgin mobile and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's cheap and I have very easy access to top-up cards so I don't just get the money taken out of my account.

Help---My 16 year old daughter just activated her new phone 8-9-11. Tonight she accidentally drop it on the floor and it landed in her pop glass. Now, it only works a little,by morning to her maybe not at all. I recently bought all three daughters Virgin Mobile phones. I shouldn't of because I'm a single parent and in 3 years have only received 3 child support payments. I'm a caregiver (job). I've been a Virgin Mobile customer since probably 2005, or thereabout. School starts Wednesday, Bailey makes good grades and is very loving. She is very unhappy but I can't do anything about her phone; can you help me? Her number is 316-559-3910. My cell is 316-204-5191. Home 316-554-8012. I keep my cell off a lot to save it. But if someone could help I would very much be grateful. I'm writing this at 2:53 am because this also has me unhappy. Brenda Dover. God Bless.

New Customer to VM...bought the Kyocera S2300. Great phone. Easy to use. Arrived quickly. No problem with set up or plan.
In fact, they just changed the Paylo plan.
Get the $30.00 plan. Also, customer service is great. Just email them, and give them some time, and they will respond.

PS screw 2 year contracts!

Ok Well I got A Virgin Mobile Phone The LG Rumor Touch It is Really Good I recommend you get the more expensive ones it is worth it. It may burn a hole in your pocket but I like it the plans are reasonable and they have the Blackberry, Lg Optimus V (or S) it is a phone powered by Andriod it is a Smartphone, and they have the Rumor touch I recommend these three phones. I rate it a 8.9 out of 10

My Samsung intercept charging device on my phone stopped working I called for a replacement phone when it didn't come I called fed ex. They told me that the wrong address was given by a rep at virgin moble, they told me to call virgin moble to have them call with the correct address, so I did, the rep that answered told me I would have to go pick the phone up from a fed ex office that was far away when I said pick it up with suprise he told me to calm down, he said we can't call, we started to argue I asked him to speak to a manager but he just held the phone in silence and told me to ask nicely, I hangup called the 855-250-5271 number spoke to a wonderful rep named Jamesha that was so polite and helpful ID# 623313. She kept me from changing my service after talking to her I got my phone the next day. She also told me to call her when I got the phone so she can activate it for me, and she did. This was excellent customer service from the tech support dept. THANK YOU JAMESHA
