Last night I arranged a booking at "Oceans" at Hervey Bay, Qld.

Unfortunately I have never received a confirmation of my booking via email.



The booking was supposed to have been for this Wednesday the 22nd of June, to my distress I received a phone call from Oceans last night asking where I was!

Oceans informed me that I could not change the booking dates as it has to be done through Trivago.



Obviously there has been a mistake with the date, I never had a chance to check via a confirmation.



I want still to stay at Oceans this Wednesday night, can you please change the booking date.

I do not want to pay any more as I feel it wasn't my fault as I still have not received an email from you.



Can you please get back to me ASAP.

I booked a hotel thru Trivago and then Amoma. After 10 days the hotel said they do not have my reservation? I have contacted Amoma and they said they are having trouble. They did not have trouble taking my money but I still do not have a reservation---Trivago should stop using Amoma as it does not honor its word.

I have made a reservation for some friends a few days ago and have not received confirmation email. They are at the hotel and no record of reservation. The Itinerary for the Club Quarters Hotel at 140 Washington ST, NYC. The booking was for Leonel Canseko.

Very disappointing that when I went to book the hotel you hqve listed om trivago it comes up as unavailable and when i contacte the hotel they now show as the Duke,

Dear Trivago,

I'm writing to express my complete dissatisfaction with my experience at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL on June 3rd. I will also be leaving reviews in regard to my experience with them, but the reason I'm writing you is to to convey my hesitancy of booking through any online booking engine in the future.

My experience:
My family and I arrived to check in around 4-4:30. I get checked in and we're assigned to a "pet friendly" [area] hotel room ($150 extra pet fee to cover the "deep cleaning" cost), as we brought our dog along.
Upon our approach to the hotel room, I notice our room number plaque is covered by a piece of paper with our room number written. Entering the hotel room, the tile floor is dirty with shoe prints, the room is hot (room temp was set on 69°, but did not seem to be working), there was a dead roach on the bathroom floor, stains on the carpet, dust and rust on the ice container, coffee stains on the cabinet, the sliding glass door was filthy, the sliding glass door track was filthy with dirt and what appeared to a hairball of some sort, the glass table on the back patio was filthy and only had one chair.
After seeing all of these things, I call the front desk to notify them of my discomfort with the room. I speak with an attendant who puts me on the phone with the manager, Chris. He apologizes for the condition and assures me he'll get us into a cleaner room, but asks if he can call me back in 5 minutes. I agree.
I sit in the desk chair to nurse my 3 month old child and looking around the room and up the curtain, I see a large palmetto roach hiding (I have pictures). I get completely unnerved, "5 minutes" has passed, and I have yet to hear back from Chris. I call the front desk, and once again, they say they'll move us. I tell the front desk attendant that we'll be waiting outside (because of these disgusting, hot, uncomfortable conditions).
Fifteen minutes later a young man, Ian, who was the best part about this whole experience, moves us to a cleaner room. This time, my family waits in the car while I check out the conditions of this cleaner room. This cleaner room has paper looking particles on the carpet, hair on the tile floor, and what looks like outdoor debris in the cabinet area. I also disapprove these conditions.
By the time Ian shows me a third room, I'm so disgusted and upset by this HUGE waste of time and disappointment, I want to leave. I return to the front registration area and advise manager Chris that we want to leave and that I want no cancellation fees associated with this visit as well as the "deep cleaning pet fee" returned. He honors my expectations with flack, and we leave.

This was the WORST hotel resort experience, and manager Chris acted as if he was doing me some huge favor by returning the pet fee. The first room was so disgusting, I wouldn't let my dog and ESPECIALLY not my 3 month old child stay in there. We waited outside for at least 15 minuets for someone to move us to a cleaner room.
It was impressed upon me that because we book through your online engine at given rate Marriott Resort provided subpar conditions. This is why I'll be more hesitant to reserve a room through any online booking engine.

While I'm sure your 'help' at finding the best price for hotels and other accommodations is most welcome.....the amount of times your commercial runs on cbc tv is not welcome. I just saw the ad 5 times in the last 7 minutes... it's too much! For this reason I will not use a service that doesn't respect their customers.

I need to speak with a trivago rep and the number listed has been disconnected. I was booked an executive room when I only wanted a basic room. This was my first time using this site and I am very unhappy so far. I need to speak with someone now

This is outrageous! My booking date was changed and there is no way to contact to correct this. The phone number listed on the web site is bogus and the message states it is no longer in service. I need a correct booking but am afraid that they will just take more money from me. This is the worst customer service. I will never book with this dishonest company again.

Trivago has always been our go-to because of the great, no-hassle service and no-charge change/cancellation policy. Great, that is, until today when we booked our hotel via Trivago, but it was out-sourced to Orbitz. Even though I booked the hotel for today, the confirmation text changed dates to tomorrow, and Orbitz said that there were fees associated with changes or cancellation. In the end, the hotel told Orbitz that they'd change it without fee, but the tense interim period was NOT what we have come to expect from a Trivago booking. How can you advertise no-fee service when your out-sourcing companies give your clients a hard time complying with your stated policies?

I was planning on signing up and book our next month long trip to Europe but after seeing that you advertise on the O'Reilly factor I think I will take a pass and go back to Expedia.

You have the WORST customer ever. I made a reservation for the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. As soon as I looked at the reservation, I realized the dates were wrong. I tried to change the date on the website, but there is no way to do that. While I was on hold, someone tried to call the hotel for approval to change my reservation, so that I wouldn't be charged any fees, but the hotel manager was not available. Then she tried to transfer me to a Trivago/Expedia manager, but she couldn't hear me (I could hear her). So I called back,and again was told that I couldn't get any help until tomorrow, when hopefully the manager of the hotel will be available. This whole issue could have, and should have been resolved in a matter of minutes, if it was handled properly. My first call came within minutes of making the reservation. I want my reservation changed to Sunday, May 7 ending on May 8. I am part of a tour group that will be staying at the hotel on May 8 & 9, which is why I chose this hotel to begin with.

We use your website all the time but have never booked until this weekend our experience was very dissatisfied after we found a room at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas we booked it through your website on a company called Agoda when we got to the hotel they said our reservation was invalid not only did we not have a room we had to pay double for last minute reservation on a Saturday night at another hotel and the company still charged our card over $200. They said they would get back to us right away when we sent the email Italian them situation they never returned an email after they said that they would help us relocate

My Wife and I booked 3 nights at the Super 8 hotel in Carbondale, IL, beginning on 3/12/2017. We checked in around 10 p.m.. Once in our room (#111), we realized the sink didn't drain well. Next, the lady in the adjacent room (#109) was on the phone, VERY LOUD, as we could clearly hear her side of the conversation. As we attempted sleep, we heard a "gaggle" of kids running up/down the hall, just having a grand time in very loud fashion.
I approached the person on duty who explained that she had had to call the lade in room 109 last night because of a noise complaint. As for the kids, they were staying by themselves in the room across from ours BY THEMSELVES! Without a parent, no wonder they were playing so loudly.
I requested that we be moved to a QUIET room with a sink that drained. We packed all of our belongings, walked up two flights of stairs to the end of floor 2. Standing at the door, we could hear the TV in the room opposite ours and when we entered, room 218 smelled worse than the rest of the hotel.
We turned in our keys and escaped in our pajamas and robes! Desk person came into the parking lot to tell us that we would not get a refund, as we had booked through your site. We found another hotel nearby, the Saluki Best Western.
We will appreciate your reimbursing us $299.42. We will expect your reply within 24 hours. For contact information, you may review your confirmation #92234304, or you may contact the hotel, and ask to speak with Terra, the nice young lady that was on duty that night.

Went to book a hotel room through trivago website and it went to Ortel.com. I thought it was hotel.com and I used a credit card and it said I could cancel up to two days, but when I tried I could not. Phone number was invalid. Called my credit card company to refute but I am traveling and would have to block my card. Trivago has been hacked!!!!

I will never use this site again.. it is so confusing and messed up and impossible to deal with when fixing any billing problems... please stay away from this site if at all possible.. use someone else... go direct to the hotel or motel..these people are impossible!!!!!!!!!!!

I made a reservation and have not received an email confirmation. Now you have my credit card information and I have no idea where my motel room is!!! This is absolutely crazy! And I have no way to contact you!! If my card is charged for $400 I'm going to be seriously pissed!
