Trivago what a nightmare!. I just went to trivago to make a hotel Reservation in Charleston SC (I live in VA). I went to the website, found a hotel, booked it. Unfortunately I had to put my credit card information.I got a confirmation #, as I was reading the confirmation document, I notes it was booked for only one person. I called the hotel to ad my husband (two people instead of one) They couldn't find me with the confirmation # I had, and they couldn't find me with my name. In other words $514.00 was taken out of my account and I have no hotel reservation (be careful if you are send to Otel.com) As all this was going on.... I got a text message from the card fraud alert department. Apparently they took my money out of my account from Istanbul. They offer the room for $135 a night. The hotel says that their cheaper room is $299 a night. Be careful people. In the mean time, they took $514.00, I have no hotel reservation, my card had to be canceled, and I am pissed of. No one to complain in triage. I want my money back.

Trivago no centralized Customer Service or contact number?, how ridicules can you be? This is turning into a nightmare.

Trivago are criminals. I booked a Quality Inn hotel through them for certain dates. I made for the stay and their website changed the dates on me. I contacted Quality Inn and they told me they don't accept reservations made through them because they are not credible.

I need to cancel the hotel reservation with otel.com. listed under Trivago's selection for Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas. I made the reservation yesterday. My bank has already sent me two alerts on the euros charge. I have sent three emails to the otel.com site, with no reply. I need help. Reservation is for June 11 through the 13th, 2017.

I just booked a room at Super 8 in midland ontario on line at 56.08 plus tax total 63.18$. When I phoned hotel to confirm , they said there is no reservation in my name. I recieved a trip number but they said no record of it. I made reservation for arrival Fri march 3 check out sat march 4th 2017. Please help. Cindy- lou gagnon . I reserved with my mastercard. Sent numerous emails with no response, been billed for a stay booked by trivago for the wrong dates and had to rebook direct with the hotel - charged twice. Trivago are shocking at responding. Neither I, my family or friends will ever use them again. SPREAD THE WORD?

I booked a hotel for today feb 25 through Monday the 27 at the rodeway inn in Bangor Maine. I came to the hotel to check in and they said the reservation was for Indiana. Please be aware that when listing a hotel with an Expedia link, the phone number listed is not actually Expedia, but a "booking partner", who will take your reservation. However, when yo get your credit card statement, they will have jacked up the price, added exorbitant taxes, and billed booking fees, even though the Expedia site states NO BOOKING fees. If you call, you'lol just get the run- around. Please don't enable this scam.

I used your site to book in Brockville Ontario I found a hotel at a reasonable price in Canadian$, and noticed a "special". Ahh. The old bait and switch. It was American dollars, print so small it was difficult to notice. Needless to say I will not be using your site again, and would not use priceline no matter what the deal offered.

I recently stay at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Brunswick GA;located at 146 Gateway Center blvd. I complain about room # 102 because of roaches and they told me I had to leave the motel. I have call their Corp office only to the run around about my refund. So I want all travelers to know if you stay at one of their motels and not happy they will do anything to make your life hell.

Earlier this month my wife and I were driving from Denver, CO to Syracuse over three days/two nights, NY. We decided a few hours before stopping for each night where we wanted to stop. Having seen your ad on TV we decided to try Trivago. To find a hotel first in Lincoln, NE, then in Elkhart, IN. Your software worked very well and we were both very pleased with the results. Should we ever be on a road trip again, we will most certainly use Trivago again. Thank you for wonderful service.

On 13th, I got make a reservation at lost world of tambun, but after I key in all the information than make payment by credit card, than they request me to wait, but it go back to the earlier page that I exit before, so I not sure did I succeed make the reservation or not? i tried to reserve room at the quality inn, in michigan city. the reservation was not confirm when got a room there. i had to pay out of pocket. your customer service called me but when i return the call the operator said your number did not exist. please call me if you with drew money from my account please return it. your assistance is greatly appreciated. james porter

About a week ago I booked a hotel through Trivago as I was driving there. Once I got to the booked hotel, I realized that Trivago had put me in a day in advance. Hotels.com and all the other sites ALWAYS presume you are booking for the same day so it didn't occur to me to check if the date was wrong. Once I got to the hotel, they said I had to call you or email you to cancel and change the date (thank god they had room, and at the same rate). Of course I couldn't email Trivago, it was late and I didn't have internet access and they didn't answer their phone saying I had to change the date online.
Trust me THAT IS THE LAST TIME I WILL EVER USE YOUR SITE. Trivago also said the hotel would take care of it and the hotel would have nothing to do with Trivago bookings . NEVER AGAIN.

In 24/11/2016 i was stayed at KSL Hotel via booking from Trivagor.
I though check in without pay any deposit and just verify by credit card.

But the counter manager asked to pay RM100 in cash and promised will pay back during I check out.
He said this is rule and regulation by Trivagor !!!

When checked out the time, he forfeit my RM100, and said this RM100 will bank in to my credit card.
As I know credit card is transaction by purchase , I never heard can bank in the money in my credit card?

It been pas a month, I did not receive any money from Trivagor.
Total amount I pay hotel is RM210.00 + RM100 = RM310.00
Is expensive than I walk in .

I hope your management can give me a very good reason and return the money .
Orelse I will share my experience to the facebook and to the media .
