I have Tesla Y 2023. Unfortunately, my two tires got flat because of a pothole on Van wick Expway. I requested service around 10:00 am and till 2:00 pm there was no call or message from Tesla. Shear wastage of 4 hours. Very very poor service. BMW and Mercedes have much much better services.

I love my Tesla but absolute hate the Tesla buying experience and Tesla customer service experience. There literally is zero customer service. I purchased a 2023 Model 3 which was in itself a very much technology driven experience which wouldn't be bad except that complete removal of the human element leaves one having to rely on unreliable sources to answer questions. Currently I have been facing an issue with obtaining the documents I signed at purchase. I asked the Tesla delivery person for copies at the time of delivery and was told they had no way to give me copies. However, I was assured that all of the documents would be uploaded and available via my Tesla account. Well they aren't. My insurance company is requiring a copy of the NC odometer disclosure statement showing the vehicle was new and the mileage at purchase. Of course this document has not been uploaded. When I try contacting my local showroom where I purchased the vehicle, I get a voicemail saying no one is available to take the call and to leave a message and someone would return my call. However, the mailbox has been full for quite some time and I have been unable to leave a message. When you call the national customer care number it asks for your zip code, then routes you right back to your local showroom. There is absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I replied to the after sale survey and blasted them with very detailed responses of my experience and of course there has been no response to that. The online chat is for sales only and the minute you ask about post sale issues the chat representative says they will have someone reach out to you and then they immediately end the chat. Of course no one ever actually reaches out. It is very sad to see a company with so much potential and such a great product being run in such an abysmal fashion with no care or concern after getting your money. This is my first and last Tesla and advise anyone looking at purchasing one to stay away. That is unless you simply do not care about customer service.

Tesla's after sale service is "Terrible" . Our temp plates has expired and we are unable to use our car and WAITING!
Numerous calls to customer Service and a visit to Tesja store was in vain .
They don't even bother to apologize. Extremely unhelpful customer service staff with "don't Care " attitude.
Their customer service is a joke !They ghost you once you buy their car !

I had to wait around 6 months for my car and I had high expectations, sadly the ride quality is dreadful in my 04/2023 model Y, reading online and confirmed by the sales guy in Southport the suspension has been revised and softened since the production of my car. Tesla make it near impossible to speak to a service technician and will not help in any way. If you want helpful supported service for your car then do not buy a Tesla, but they have very helpful sales staff.

I love my Tesla vehicle but when something happened, Tesla had horrible customer service. Everything is routed locally. There is no one at corporate that is available. You get the same 888 number for everything. Based upon where you are, your issue is routed. Try and address something that requires a human to weigh-in and you are completely out of options.

When my service advisor and I were placing my order, it initially didn't go through with a referral code. The reservation was instantly cancelled (probably that same minute) and the same transaction was placed for the same vehicle with the referral code successfully applied. Tesla charged me twice for the $250 order fee. Trying to get a reasonable human to evaluate that was impossible. The local dealer Richmond, VA dealership initially didn't care. "Is what is" I was told by Mathew P. My response was you have a lot to learn about valuing your customer. My next question was who else can I speak with? I got the General Manager of the same dealership but no option for anyone else at corporate. There is no one at Tesla corporate or anyone that really cares about your issues or business. You don't really have a traditional sales person or service advisor like at a typical car dealership that stays engaged and is your advocate. The whole process of buying the car and taking delivery was sterile by comparison. Some may value the absolute efficiency...and I do. But it shouldn't be at the expense of anything related to valuing your customer.

Any reasonable car dealership would have refunded my double-charge of $250 for the same car after the facts were presented. I mean: I bought and took delivery of the vehicle. Not Tesla. Because there is no human available to make a connection, value your customer and understand what has occurred.

Tesla is horrible. You can never reach anyone. I just had a traumatic accident, and because their agent didn't know their job protocol, my car wasn't towed until 730 a.m. from 1 a.m., and they refused to give me a loaner car, so I couldn't get home. I was stranded in Newberg, New York, begging lift and Uber drivers to please don't cancel my ride to Manhattan. Finally, at 830 a.m., someone would accept the ride. I was up well over 24 hours, and the team's repair shop was even worse. Then people wonder why others snap. Imagine being alone on the New York State Thruway, with no light on that highway. Did I mention there are no lights, it is pitch black, and it's a highway at 1 a.m., hoping someone doesn't kill you while you look at your flat tire on the side of the road or just sitting in your car?

We've owned a Model X and a Y. We have Tesla powerwalls (2) and solar. I'm a former employee of Tesla for nearly 10 years. Good products, but absolutely abysmal customer service. It's genuinely hard for me to express my level of letdown and frustration when trying to get something remedied on either the vehicle or solar side. Literally the worst customer service system I've ever experienced. This is even while being an employee and having more access than the average person.

Buying from Tesla has been the worst experience I have ever had and I am in the automotive industry. I was forced to pay fees before I could get the final numbers. I struggled to get documents needed for my credit union. Then when it came to pick up they needed a few days with my new car, but then I only had three days to pick up or loose my money and I only had certain hours and no morning hours for pick up. Worst experience ever!!!!

It has been a very long summer of irritations with my Tesla. First I was completely locked out of my 2019 model S in June. Wallet and belongings inside- it took the service center 3 days to get into it- they couldn't figure out why it happened ... wanted me to give more information- worked one day- locked out the next. All they found was a leak in coolant. 1 month later, coolant significantly leaking- they tell me it's not urgent and don't even set up an appointment until 10 days later. Took 3 days of texting to even get them to schedule the appointment. They had my car for over a week. No loaner. Had to rent a car because Uber credits don't work for a 24 hour emergency call.
1 month later, car stops working on the way home from a road trip. Tesla got towed. We were still an hour from home. It's now a week later and they still haven't looked at my car. And of course, no loaner vehicle available.
The service is absolutely horrible.
They have way oversold what they can repair. For the cost of a model S, you should at least expect a loaner and friendly customer service.

I loved driving my Tesla the first 3 years, but now it's just too painful and unreliable. Can't wait to trade it in.

I purchased a new model Y for $50k and when I went to pick up the car , I saw the front bumper was damaged and thus I declined the delivery. I was informed that Tesla will match me with a new car and there won't be any impact to the overall price. 2 days later Tesla matches me with the same config car which is $2.2k more than my original price. I called the customer service and they said they can't help me, my only options are to cancel the order and forfeit the $250 order fee or pay 2.2k more and accept the new car assigned. Why should I pay more for Tesla's screw up??

I ordered a Model S from inventory. I was assigned a VIN and went to pick up the car. I observed some massive misalignment of the boot and Tesla team said that the car is not meeting manufacturing specifications and that's why the price is lower. They were not willing to fix it and were not willing to assign another car with same config unless I paid another ~10K. I had to cancel the car and forfeit the deposit for no mistake of mine. I am very disappointed to see Tesla resorting to this practice without disclosing at the time of purchase and saying the cars are new.

Please be aware when buying inventory vehicles at lower prices. Please inspect cars carefully before taking delivery. They all have a "GOTCHA".

I purchased a Tesla Model 3 Performance 2022 for $70,000 after taxes in June 2022. Unfortunately, Tesla recently reduced the price by approximately 15.7%, causing my purchase to result in a loss as my car is now worth less than the new price. When I attempted to sell the vehicle, I received incredibly low offers ranging from $29,000 to $36,000, resulting in a loss of around 50% in just one year. This indicates that the car's value will be exceedingly low in the market in the coming years.

Furthermore, the warranty service provided by Tesla is terrible. I scheduled an appointment due to a noise in the front, but they informed me that it was normal and that the noise started a month ago. When I tried to go to another dealer, they wanted to charge me $167 because Tesla does not cover unexpected vehicle noises under warranty. As a result, I am now stuck with a 2022 car with noises that I cannot claim because it is not covered by the warranty.

My suggestion is to wait for a better EV vehicle with a decent warranty that prioritizes taking care of customers over making money. Tesla does not provide loan cars, making it impossible to do any kind of DIY mechanic work since they are the only ones controlling the parts. After all this, I decided to sell the car and stop supporting a company that doesn't support the customer.

AVOID TESLA AT ALL CAUSE!!!! Not even a great car. I told my sister and her husband, to explore other avenues with electric vehicles, but insisted on a Tesla. We went to Topanga Mall showroom in Woodland Hills, spoke to Brian (sales rep), straight lied to our faces (didn't know at the time), He said, put a deposit down and this will reserve (for you only) your car that is in stock in Long Beach ready for pick up in the next 3 - 5 business day. She put the deposit down and paid the full price of the car the next day. My sister was excited, they bought the car straight out cash, no finance or lease. 3 days became almost a month, gave my sister the run around the whole time, called customer service twice and basically told my sister, yes we lied to you, we made a mistake, there's nothing we can do about it, you can cancel the order or wait,,,,,,,,,,BUT YES, WE AS TESLA TOOK ALL YOUR MONEY..........THANK YOU!!!! Now F.....OFF. Told my sister to cancel and buy a LUCID......way better car in every aspect

I would like to complaint about the service I got in the Milano office of Tesla. The staff is rude, they don't know basics about the cars they are selling and they barely speak English. I am borderline to cancel my order and go for another brand just because of the awful service I am receiving there...

I was trying to contact Tesla Insurance for Tesla-3. I have been on hold for more than 2 hours already and still counting. No response, no call back option, nothing. I tried to work online, but they are asking for VIN, when inputted, says wrong VIN. That is ridiculous since I took a photo of the VIN from the car and inputted the number several times, same answer every time. You cannot proceed further if the VIN number is not accepted. Update: I was disconnected automatically just now after 2 hours 13 minutes

From the moment I first punt money down for this car I had issues. If I knew then what I know today I would've gladly surrendered the $250 to save myself the world of headaches introduced by Tesla's very non-existent customer service. Absolutely to hing about the purchase was smooth and the company cares absolutely nothing about your situation.

I drove a BRAND NEW Model Y off the lot and had an issue immediately. Unfortunately I was half asleep from having to fly in from a work trip that AM and take delivery so I drove 2 hours home only to discover they need the vehicle brought back to the SC to have repairs made. Tesla absolutely does not care about you as a customer at all and have offered absolutely zero compensation for the issue. I will be telling every single person I meet from here on out DON'T ever buy Tesla.

I attempted to purchase my 2nd Model 3. I was quoted a price in the showroom that was $2,000 less than the price reflected in Tesla's website online after completing that part of the purchase process. I was asked for a deposit BEFORE I knew the price of the car. I was not told the deposit was not refundable. I was not told the black/white interior was $1,000 extra even though I made it clear I wanted to avoid extra charges over color when speaking with Tesla's representative in the showroom. I was not told that material information relating to the purchase was in Tesla's website and that I should review that information. The only information I had was what Tesla's representative stated orally. I am told I will not get my deposit back. I cannot even find any longer the breakdown of costs for the car because it is in Tesla's website and it appears to have vanished. There is no contract for the purchase because there is no agreement on price. I took written notes in the showroom. I feel swindled by Tesla.

Service app is atrocious. You really can't talk to anyone so you have to use their app. The app is terrible. They will switch times. They say they do on site appointment but they give you a 1/2 day window and then do not show up. Thank goodness the rest of the car industry is catching up because it is the last Tesla I will buy.

One of the rudest interactions I've ever had from a business: I asked for a rep to call me so that I could change my delivery date by one day (a work confict popped up). The woman that called (3 days after the request) spoke to me like I was a child. She didn't solve my issue and ended up hanging up because she "had other calls to make." It was unbelievable.

Extremely poor customer service. Their mobile service messed up my model Y trunk. After servicing my vehicle the trunk door is misaligned. Tesla service center manager was rude saying it is a cosmetic issue and won't take any responsibility for the damage done to my vehicle.

Customer service is terrible. After placing an order and awaiting the information to confirm the delivery date, no one has contacted me regarding this information. The next thing I know, my order has been canceled. According to the representative, I need to reorder and pay $250. I do not believe Tesla's customer service is the smartest propel. They are not trained to solve problems, but rather to avoid them. I find it very sad.

I had a interior part start making noise rattling and had general bumpiness as well as tire balancing and alignment needs. I booked a service appt same week. Showed up and was asked to ride along with a tech.. They identified the issue causing rattles. All the work would be done same day. I was given $100 in Uber credits to head home. At 6pm I was notified in app that my car was ready and traveled to service center. They had balanced and changed tire pressures as well as fixed the rattle. The work was estimated at $263 and was warrantied. I was not charged for any of the work. Insanely great service.

Tesla Mobile service review

I had the best Tesla technician come over to replace my side camera he did an excellent job. I highly recommend Service Tech JOSEPH who cover the East Bay. He takes care of your Tesla as if it was his own with care and professionalism. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Communication is excellent.

I just had my first (2 year) service and tire rotation on my Model Y - conveniently done in my driveway in Edmonds, WA. The technician was on time, friendly, efficient and a good communicator. I have to say I am delighted by how easy and inexpensive it is to maintain this car - a fraction of the time and expense of my previous non-electric car. I see so many bad reviews on Tesla experience but mine have all been stellar.
