I just want to write to customer service that I am very upset, I placed an online order and the order duplicated. Once I realize the order was duplicated I emailed customer service right away and sent 5 emails requesting for the order to be cancelled. It was not my fault that customer was not open during my order. You sent me a special offer to order without shipping at 10 pm which conveniently it was when customer service was closed, then I had an issue with my order you couldn't fix it the next morning how crazy. Then the very not helpful customer rep said I had 30 minutes to cancel my order. My question to you who was I was supposed to contact within 30 minutes if customer service is closed??? I emailed immediately after placing the order. I am irate my card was charged for 6 shirts which means there is 2 of each shirt being shipped. How stupid is that? And there was no way to stop the processing or shipping.

I am irate and I will never order online which this company again... FYI I ordered just about every week. I have another order in the mail right now as well.

I have never received such horrible customer service from a company before. I placed an order, the funds were captured by paypal. Rue then cancelled my order for no reason. I have been trying to recover the funds for weeks. When i finally called and spoke to a Rue21 representative, she was rude, annoyed, unhelpful and straight up uncooperative.
I will never place an order with this company neither will i recommend them to anyone.
This is why Amazon continues to be at the forefront of customer service because they understand its value unlike this company.

I placed an order online and it was cancelled because they didn't know who I was sending the package to.The customer service person could not speak good English ,its terrible.Now they have a hold on my bank account and they told me to wait a week till the money is put back on my account and purchase the items again.This is a scam!!!

The store in Shawnee Mall, in Oklahoma sucks, we have coupon for get 20 dollars off 50 dollars any purchase, offer good from 8-13-15 through 8-17-16 ,today is 8-15-15 ,we had 6 close items and one perfume, came to 55 dollars before taxes and they told me that I couldn't use my coupon on my phone, so I left everything there, I won't go back, but I will let all my friends know.

I entered the Rue 21 in rapid city, sd tonight to do some back to school shopping. I was angry,anoid and apolled by that store. The store was do filthy. Clothes laying on the floor, tossed on top of racks. We had to step over clothes on the floor while shopping. When it came time to purchase our clothes we waited at the cash wrap for 5 minutes with another customer before finally going and asking the worker, I use that term loosely. To come ring us up. As she was standing with another worker on the phone texting. The cash wrap was so covered with junk I'm surprised she found our purchases among the lunch and trash. They were walking on clothes behind the counter on the floor as well. Have a little respect in your store and work! They also need some customer service classes too. Management and all staff need to he canned and get someone in there that will get that store back into the shape it should be before they close the doors.

So I tried to order clothing online, and to my dismay, they do not ship to Alaska. To solve that, I decided to have it shipped to a cousin in Washington so he could ship it to me. Well, my order was canceled due to my mistake that I entered my card with the same billing address as the shipping address. So I called Rue21 and this is what they told me... "We do not ship or bill to Alaska or Hawaii because credit cards from those area are considered international and we do not considered them part of the 48 United States." I guess now there are only 48 states in our lovely country. Thanks Rue21. I'll be ordering from amazon now :)

I spend a lot of money in this store and now have to find a new place because the customer service at the Rue 21 store in Fayetteville NC off Raeford Rd has became horrible. The management is so rude. I will ask a question or have an exchange or refund they seem it is a problem. The service is horrible they are not happy that you are in the store.

I went into the abilene Texas location today to purchase some shirts. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes just to check out the lady at the cash register was rude. I tried to pay with a 100 dollar bill and she refused to take it saying they didn't have enough change. When the lady behind me asked how they possibly couldn't have enough change since they were so busy she said they didn't go to the bank that morning. So basically I wasn't allowed to purchase the clothing I picked out because they had no change. Please explain to me how that's okay.

I went to Rue 21 in Mt.pleasant Mi Store 01045 and purchased over $50 worth of product in the store. Then I told the cashier LEILANI that I needed to use the restroom because I was handicap with MS AND IT EFFECTS MY BLADDER AND SHE SAID THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO LET ME . There was only 4 people in the store and she and another worker were just standing at the counter. Then my daughter purchased items in there and they took her email for coupons but they never asked me. Then I couldn't find my car keys up at the counter they were left and do you think they would help me with that no. I was ready to call the police for stolen keys when they said well maybe their in the shorts they suggested to me at the last minute which they were. Thank god. My daughter loves the place but I really don't think id come back to that kind of service.UNSATISFIED EMPLOYEE SERVICE

My daughter and her best friend were shopping at rue21 in Midwest City on April 1, 2015. The girl running the register was rude!!! She referred to the girls as zoo animals because they were laughing and joking around with each other!!!!! When NY daughter confronted her about it she responded by throwing the girls money and receipts at them. The manager who wasnt professional himself did nothing but, stand there!!! Try calling corporate and it hangs up when you press 2 if you're calling about a recent experience at a rue21!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO A RUE21!!!

The staff at rue 21 in Stillwater Oklahoma 74075 are rude they do not greet shoppers of color it has happen numerous times horrible place to shop.

The store manager Lorie at the Rincon store was so rude and nasty today when asked about my coupon I only needed to spend a penny more to use my coupon instead of her telling me she just walked off and went back to doing basically nothing and she has always been rude so I think I'm gonna take my business else where.

My daughter received a gift card for rue21 we went to the one in Asheboro North Carolina . One of the employees there (a women )with her pants down below her behind with her underpants hanging out on purpose no one workin there seems to mind well I do! I will not be back to this store again.

I visited the Liberty Texas store on December 27th from 7 pm to 730 pm. It was a horrible experience. No one acknowledged that me and my family was in the store. Each employee was dressed in the store clothing laughing and playing on their phones. There were several things I wanted to purchase but did not because of horrible customer service.

I can't find a phone number to call corporate office. I shop at rue 21 every 2 weeks never had a bad experience until today 12/13/14 11am rue 21 Hudson NY. Rudest sales person ever. She was on the phone talking about a new person who got hired to fix all the problems rue 21 has. Thenbas I approaches the counter I gave her my phone coupon from Sherpa that is always honored I'm this store she said it didn't work with out trying never looked at my phone.she said what do you want things for free? I told her I always use these coupons she said well that's a lie. I don't appreciate being called a liar I have another customer that was behind me in the store and heard her. I returned my items and left. She was very rude and unprofessional. I thought you should know. Needless to say I will never shop at rue 21 again in Hudson ny

This comment is only pertaining to the Rue 21 in Lake Charles Louisiana (Lake Chares Power Center store #00513. Went Rue 21 today with my daughter never thinking I may never go back when we entered the store there was this very tall black guy who work there he had a very high pitched voice. he was extremely rude and very silly, he was loud and very obnoxious saying very inappropriate comments instead of trying to help customers find what they needed he was talking about the customers where they could hear him an one lady actually left the store because of his rude unnecessary comments. at one point the other cashier was busy my daughter and I and other customers were waiting to check out when other lady that was working with him ask him to check us out because he was just standing there running his mouth. that's when looked back and he was shaking his head no that he didn't want to checking. I was highly upset at he was unprofessional and once again rude.

I am Lily McAlister, I was interviewed by the store manager and the District manage of the Lufkin area. I was told by the store manager and the DM manager that they would call me and tell me one way or the other. I have 26 yrs. of retail experience and I was told I gave a vey good interview, it is ok that I didn't get the job, but I should have at least got a phone call from someone to let me know something in stead of just letting me keep going o the store asking and being told the DM hasn't told her anything. Now I have gone internet and the same job is posted again. I would like and explanation. Thank You Lly

I bought a cell phone charger and a USB cord-I plugged it in and it fried my new I-phone 5C. The tip of the cord got so hot within seconds.Now I can't reach anyone at Customer Service because it keeps telling me it is after hrs.

worst company OUT THERE

BUYERS BEWARE all of the items sent to the store are halfway damaged by arrival! The poor store managers not only are at fault for everything even if out of their control but are not paid well! Really none of the positions! I would NEVER work at such a company. Please be aware that they make their employees not only try to sell the $9.99 fragrance to everyone (because THEY make full profit) and do not even give commission or anything but they also make employees purchase the fragrance when not making the goals.


I'm sorry but have you smelt them? THEY STINK they smell like what you pay for !

I know so much bad about this company that it is unreal. I will never ever watch someone be treated the way my wife was. I actually met her there as a customer....She is so much better off now that she is no longer employeed by them! Save yourself time and money dont bother even applying!
