My name is Lodan and tonight(0/9/13) a nice girl name Angel helped me to resolve a problem I had on my redbox account. I tried a few times before and spoke to several employee which neither of them could help me. Angel is very knowledgeable and she knows her work very well.

I was recently charged for a cd, that I didn't know hadn't been returned, my account was charged $29.81. thanks to the redbox customer services team, they reviewed my case and because im a good customer with no pervious history they credited my account 25.00!! thanks redbox team.

Well after seeing all three negative comments I think I'll add a halfway decent one. Me and my husband love redbox. We use it about 5 times a month. When we see a movie preview on tv and think it might be good we usually say "well just redbox it later before we buy it. Their movies and games and pretty new. I've never gotten one that didn't work. The only thing that got me upset is I kept a movie for two days a couple times and got charged for 3. But besides that I'm satisfied with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Best customer service experience I've had in a while was when I called redbox recently. I made a mistake and returned 2 discs that I kept too long for. I didn't know that I could have kept the movies after 21 days since the amount of the discs were already taken out of my account. I called customer service and asked for the discs back. The representative politely explained that it is not possible and that they can give me $10.00/disc back. I explained that I can just go back to the redbox machine and take the same movies I just dropped off then call them back. I was put on hold and was told that what they can offer is a one time full refund. It was a long conversation but in the end I was extremely satisfied on the professionalism of the representative and her ability to go above and beyond. The resolution exceeded my expectations. I commend that representative and I wish I had her name. She has proven that Redbox really appreciates my business and is willing to come up with the best possible outcome when faced with an unsatisfied customer. In return, I will keep on using redbox.

I Rent Movies From Them All The Time And Started Noticing Them Charging Me A Fee (even With Promo Code) The Same Day And Another Fee The Day After And Another When I Return The Movies. They Told Me That I Woudld Receive The Money Back Because It Was A Pre Authorization. No Problem But Then They Told Me They Can Give Me Promos For The Trouble Since They Cant Refund The Money Wthout A Statement From My Bank. Its Not About The Money, Its The Principle. Im Absolutely Done With Redbox. Time To Start Buying My Own Movies.

I used the online chat to report a scratched disc that wasn't 100% watchable, Ravi quickly removed the disc from circulation and issued 2 free rentals even though I would have been fine with 1. I'm disheartened to see the negative reviews here, I suspect the majority of reviews are only made when people are dissatisfied and thus tend to skew negative. I had a great experience that went beyond my expectations. Bravo.

Redbox has a very good track record in our family.. I have had issues, customer service has always been able to help. I rented three movies, returned them, but it said i only returned two of them. I called customer care and they were more than happy to help. I have tried to return movies when the box is full, calling customer care does the trick, they will either credit you or give you a code for a free rental. I guess i always look for my emails which state how much i was charged, as well as checking my.bank accout. If you have to watch every penny as i do, this is not rocket science to check the information provided for you...

I am so estatic with Redbox for their quick response and helpful with dealing with late fees due to flooding during the hurricane. I was only on hold for 2 minutes and they were understanding and didn't hesitate to credit back the late fees. I will continue to use Redbox for my rentals. Blockbuster never attempted to help with issues in the past. THank you Redbox.

The customer service I received by the Redbox representative(s) was, without question, satisfactory to the tee! Not only was my primary issue (concerning the Rebox kiosk "mix-up") solved with professionalism and friendliness, it was taken care of within a reasonably short amount of time. I just wanted to say thanks again to the associates who helped me with my problem. I didn't think it could be so easy!

like anything els , you will always find those who are unfair and like to complain about the least little problem . Yes , I have had a few problems on occasionat the machine - most the time I call the number and get it resolved - not always though . Considering the cost of Redbox and the convenience of the online search and reservation system , overall I think they do an outstanding job . My only complaint is that when searching for a movie , I wish it would display the "rating" immediately when you put your curser over it for the description . It does not do this and consequently you must click on the movie to get that rating . Once you do this , when you click on "continue browsing" , it takes forever to get back to where you were in the list of movies . This is my only complaint .

Please know that with all the things I read on the internet about such and such company doing such and such "wrong", "bad", or negative behavior - it's a pleasure to say I had a great experience on the phone with Delmanda this afternoon. She was both professional and kind, and helped me through a problem with ease. It's people like Delmanda that ought to be written in the YELP or internet 'user comments' section.

I've had several DVDs that would not play, or would play half the movie before crapping out. It happens all the time, to the point where I'm just about done with renting physical discs. That said, I've called 3 times about the issues, and each time I was helped by someone who was polite and helpful, and made good by giving me a few free rentals. Getting a customer service representative was simple, and I wasn't put on hold for ridiculous amounts of time. It was relatively painless, so I can't complain.

I have had two customer service experiences with RedBox and both have been extremely positive. They were easy to access via internet and phone. They didn't rush me on the phone and waited with me until my item was returned properly. The customer service was the best I have had in a long time and I will continue to use their services. By the way, love the internet ordering. It makes life easy!!

I was near tears because I had a video game stolen from me during the hurricane :-( We had to leave our homes and during which we got looted. I chatted with customer service, who submitted an immediate refund for me for the cost of the game. Thank you redbox!!!

Redbox has fabulous customer service. I had returned a DVD but the machine said there was an error. When I called their customer service I hardly waited at all and the man was very kind and professional and told me the DVD had been returned correctly and my account wouldn't be charged any more for that rental. It was a genuine pleasure to speak to him.

Had a scratched dvd, had to wait only about 2 minutes to reach a live person, agent apologized LOTS and gave me 2 freebie rental codes to replace 1 bad movie. Heck of a great deal for me! Will do business with them again!

I just had an issue with an odd charge appearing for over $25.00! I was concerned so I called redbox. They explained a movie didn't show returned, and sure enough I checked my sons room and the dvd wasn't returned. The agent I spoke with was polite and calm with me the entire call.

I recently rented a blue ray video that was damaged. Kathy, the customer service representative was courteous, efficient, and friendly. The best part is that the resolution was mutually reached without any argument.

I am VERY happy with the live customer service with Redbox!!

I had a DVD player stolen from me almost a month agowith one of their movies in it and wanted to see what I needed to do so I would not get charged for it.

The online support "chat" was not helpful at all. To me it seemed like I was talking to a live robot with built in auto responses. Basically told me I was screwed.

Called the live number and we worked out a solution. I would be charged for the $25 replacement, but when I saw the charge on my account I was to call them and it would get reversed.

I did so yesterday. The customer service rep pulled my info and saw the note that was left. Apologized ALOT for my troubles. She said it would be 5-7 business days till it was refunded to me. I was cool with that. The entire call was less than 5 minutes.

Almost immediately after I hung up, I was sent an email stating it was in the process.

Checked my balance a little bit ago, and it was all credited back. All in less than 24 hours!
