Today my husband, a military veteran, went to home depot. We have been loyal customers for 20 years with their credit card. We continually get coupons for 10% off. We cannot use the coupon and his military discount at the same time so opt always for the military discount. He has gone online multiple times to register as a veteran and gets kicked out at the final stage every time. He has communicated the issue and was told they were aware and to keep trying. Today with $800 of product he was told they would not honor his military discount because he wasn't registered. He explained the issue and was advised there was nothing they can do for him. He had to figure out how to get the site to work all while acknowledging it was a known issue. He could use a coupon but would have to drive the 35 minutes home and get it. Lowes simply allows you to get the discount with your drivers license. Lowes will now be making $800 and gain a new customer all because Home Depot cannot make life easier on a veteran. Congratulations to Home Depot.

The online customer service is pathetic. I had an issue with an order that impacted over $1000 worth of materials and was told too bad - it's over 90 days and we will not do anything to help. One issue was several boxes of busted tiles. All of the supplies were ordered to be available for the contractors project timeline. Due to some issues discovered during the tear out - the rebuild was delayed so it was over 90 days before the material was used. Several boxes of tile were in shards even though all of the secondary packaging and foam were pristine. It appeared the boxes were packed and shipped broken. I was just asking the exchange the products and was told no. It was too bad but it was over 90 days so I'd have to repurchase. I was told it was escalated and no matter high high it went the answer would be no.

I had my account closed out after a really messed up financial disadvantage on ordering a leaf blower cordless blower. The ad read a Black n Decker leaf cordless blower with back 40V for 162.00, with tax and all came to 191.00 - I ordered it online to be delivered on August 8, 23 paying the extra 8.00 for certain day. This order was placed July 29th, on August 7th I checked on it and to my shock it was "CANCELED" no explanation or anything. Called the number of customer care and asked why it was canceled, was given 3 different numbers to call then told to call the Home Depot.com - Still no real answer other than the manager from another store made the cancellation, So i reordered it again still to be delivered on the 8th which they had told me it would be. Come the 8th, inquired about it again, this time they said it had to still be ordered so in other words, they never had the product to begin with, this time i had paid in full 121.70, they knocked off 50 bucks. Now in 4 hours after call, I am told it will be at my doorstep within 5 business days that would be August 18th! I told them i am not going to be here and you told me it would be delivered. Never the less I canceled everything, told them take the damn money and your fake scheme and shove it, I don't want anything to do with you again. There is no excuse to what you all just pulled. So warning to all 5 different stories told no real solution to their website misleading s. Some of us are to busy to be missing work for someones lame laziness, to have product sit outdoors with weather and theft running a muck no one can afford that crap. I am looking elsewhere to do business with a legitimate company.

Bought a refrigerator from Home Depot. Their 3rd part deliver service (K&E LLC, Smithfield, NC) delivered and damaged our property. Nobody is responsible. Home Depot corporate has never responded to me and we had to replace a storm door as a result. No problem, I purchased from Lowes and had a great experience. Will never buy anything from any Home Depot. If you have anything delivered from this Home Deport, video every step the delivery people make. It might save you in the long run. Home Depot is not responsible for the product or the delivery. Why in the world would anybody buy anything from these scammers?

This probably seems trivial, but it's gotten to the point where it's affecting my shopping habits at your location that I usually use. During a number of visits lately, the music playing in the intercom system has been very loud country/western. I realize that there is a significant fan base for that type of music, but I think we all know that it's pretty polarizing (either love it or hate it). I happen to find it extremely annoying and minimize my time in the store when it's being played. Today, both the customer in front of me and behind me both were complaining about how loud it was, and that they also happened to hate C/W. The guy behind me actually mentioned that he would probably be changing stores because of the "redneck crap" on the intercom.

The store is number 457 in Scottsdale, AZ. If you MUST have music, it would make sense to just use something more innocuous and universally acceptable.

Bought washer, dryer and stove from them because they said they "deliver". Two guys in a truck pull up and tell me they cannot bring appliances in unless I paid for installation. They left all three appliances sitting outside my back door!

Dishwasher install. Never ever ever will I purchase appliances from HD again. I purchased W&D set about 2 years ago and no problem. Purchased a dishwasher a week & 1/2 ago and it has been a total nightmare. I had DW dropped in my entry way in my house because it wasn't a side by side hook up so delivery men couldn't hook it up. A plumber would be called to do it. Getting it installed has been horrible which I still don't have an install date from them Of course they can only do it during working 8-5 hours. I specifically requested a delivery install on Saturday which originally was not a problem. The company to install is some moving company from what I found out. Who are these people. I have wasted hours on the phone with multiple phone numbers ties to HD. I told them to come pick it up and they told me it would be a while for a refund because it has to go back to manufacturer's warehouse before i can get credit. I told them at time of pu any damage that occurs is in them. The saga continues. I took off work for Friday hoping they get their asses to my house to install it and I will be done with them going forward.

We purchased a front load washer July 3 with initial delivery/install/haul away of July 7. No phone call from them on day of stating we would not be getting our unit. Instead we reached out to them only to find out they had the pedestal but "lost" the washer. They set up another date for July 17 which came and went-same thing.
We called them up after texting back and forth to see what happened. We ended up calling GE direct to get an answer as nobody with Home Depot had an answer for us as to what happened and when it would arrive.
July 25 was to have been our next install date, we called July 24 as there was zero communication from them (yet again), this time they said it was damaged and are trying to figure something out... we called this morning and after communicating with them about their poor customer service and lacking communication on their end-we have cancelled the order as this was the third attempt.
If they had communicated with us at the beginning, we would be understanding and able to work with them. Since they couldn't even try to reach out and we had to initiate every time, we are done.
During all of this, we were kicked out of the cue and had to be put back into the delivery cue with each phone call we made.

I had purchased a washer and dryer GE top of their line blue ones with pedestals very costly. Schedule delivery. The 1st delivery was a nightmare since the guys who delivered them rolled them out of truck slamming them around in truck and no respect for someone else's property. The items were damaged both banged up broken parts and scratched too. Next delivery was better however the guys noted a broken pedestal so they put new washer and dryer and both pedestals in our garage not put together yet. The issue is we also live 40 minutes away from our construction house so it's a long drive every time and early Saturday morning too. So on the 3rd attempt the delivery guys show up with new pedestal to see washer and dryer in garage and not installed, he said the bigger guy it's not their place to install he said see my work order . So I was very worried that we had another issue then he says I am going to do you a favor I am going to install them I was like you're doing what ! Me a favor how's that how do I know that what he's doing is not what he's supposed to do. I was shocked so I called home depot since my husband said to andbthe delivery guy said don't call them it want do anything we are a 3rd party we don't work for them. So homedepot offered me 100$ discount so crazy really. So the guys did even worst than the first guys putting a more server scratch in the washer so bad that it can be seen and thru to the surface of machine as in all the paint gone. The issues keep happening and I don't want a scratch and dent item I paid for brand new I have been inconvenienced 3 times now and to have a delivery guy speak so rudely to me more than three times too. He kept saying sarcastic statements. Dear God why are they so bad. I have never had so many issues with homedepot. So the next person I call offers me $400 I excepted only because I was over it although I am now very leery of purchasing any major appliances from home depot . How sad since I am building a house and need things. Also I have spent 6k so far with homedepot too . I can't believe people are so difficult. I think I should get more offers now

I bought a new stove from home depot and the door handle fell off. It was obviously broken and glued back together. Home depot ILLEGALLY sold me a used or repaired stove as new. Calling customer service was a continuous run-around and hang ups. I have spent more than $45,000 at home depot over the past 24 years and I will not give them another penny

Forget HOME DEPOT if you're eligible for the veterans discount. I already have a veterans ID card with photo, but that's not good enough. You have to open an online account and upload your military records to a "secure" sight. Really? I would never send my service records to a RETAILER - of all places. I'm shopping at Lowe's from now on where I simply enter my phone number and show my ID. This must be too simple for Home Depot to grasp.
Bottom line: Home Depot is not vet friendly - and that's disgraceful on their part.

I am very dissatisfied with customer service at Home Depot. I had to cancel an order and reorder another item and they told me it would take a few days for my refund to be back into my account. As of today, it has been 18 days since it was cancelled and I still don't have my $430.84 back into my account yet. I have called them 3 times and they act uncaring and not willing to help with this situation. This is not acceptable and very unprofessional on Home Depot's part. I have filed a complaint with Palpal to try and get my refund back. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HOME DEPOT EVER AGAIN!!! ZERO STARS........

The fifth item on the receipt when I reviewed the receipt at home I found the the lady at the store she keyed in by accident the wrong color I needed the the black stainless instead of just stainless. I went back to the store to fix the issue they informed me that they can not modify the invoice I do have two options either to cancel this item from the invoice and make another invoice without any discount which I had it on the first invoice or cancel the whole invoice and redo it from scratch in order to get the same discount i had on the first invoice so they did cancel the whole invoice. They started new invoice and the put all items needed then there was a price difference of 600$ more than the price on the first invoice. Then I asked for a manager then a guy by name Jerry finally said that he can't do anything if I need these products then I must pay today's price
I think this is not a normal situation where I have to pay for an employee mistake to start with.
I have decided to speak about it and to go buy my product somewhere else even if I have to pay more.
Im really disappointed about the quality of the managers at the store.

My name is Bahadir Ozseymen. I ordered a Ryobi brand pressure washer from online and they told me to pickup 3 days later from 21530 TX-249, Houston TX. But after 3 days wait I found the item damaged not to mention spending my gas to pickup. Only the manager apologized just because I called him. They seemed instead care less when providing great customer satisfaction. I was confused about their service quality. Looked like they definitely not doing their job seriously. Especially the front end looked unfocused and unprofessional when I was talking to customer service. Since they were being clear and wanted from listening I said yes. I let them did their job uninterrupted after that incident.I
decided to not reorder because it was out of stock. I got my money back and they lost 440$ and one customer from their store.

A true horror. They make you pay in full for cabinet installation when you order. we have cabinets sitting in our dining room for five weeks I cannot get them to install. We paid in April. It's mid July! Completely incompetent and do not return calls. Once they have your money they don't care. I will NEVER use them again. An absolute horror.

7/9/23 store located 33614. I would say around 1 to 3 pm garden section. Cashier. I went to purchase a washer and dryer to take advantage of the sale appliances csr was busy. We went to garden section to give her time to finish with current customer and I soon as we got to the cashier we knew it was going to be a bad experience. Cashier lacked csr skills ?. As she is ringing up the items, no eye or verbiage contact. I asked her for a bag 3xs she ignored me. My partner try to speak to her asking her the price because the numbers were to small on the pay screen she ignored him. She did not bag my items after asking for the bags 3xs. I got frustrated and asked my partner to take 3 bags for we can bag it ourselves. As we were leaving past the doorway my partner and I are having a conversation in Spanish as to the horrible service and he compared it to another situation so I laughed and said dumb dumb in spanish and all of a sudden your csr started yelling at me calling me dumb and every other name you can think we did go a back and fourth in verbiage because I could not believe her lack of disrespect and csr skills. Also I couldn't understand how she didn't hear us asking for bags and the # are too small but she heard our conversation and only understood the word dumb dumb. My conversation was in Spanish she did not speak Spanish. But here is the most dangerous part where that employee of yours is a total liability to your company she followed me out the store cursing and saying everything she wanted. You have cameras take a look. Now I can say this if I had not been on the electronic chair with a bad knee it would have been a really bad day for both of us. I told her take a course on csr 101 because she sure lacked. I verbally complained to the manager.
I did not purchase the washer and dryer after that incident. My partner is a mechanic that purchases a lot in home Depot he will not be going there anymore.

I will never buy another appliance from Home Depo!
Any savings you May receive are not worth the poor service you will get!
The Bosh dishwasher we purchased was installed incorrectly by Home Depo (it was actually protruding out from under counter top a 1/2 inch and installers said that was ok!)
We hired a local appliance repair technician to come and correctly install the unit.
Fast forward to today with a broken dishwasher!
We called the Home Depot protection plan (we paid for a 5 year plan when we purchased unit)and a week later we still have no idea if or when our dishwasher will be repaired!
We were first told a technician will come on a certain date (a Sunday??)to repair it and never showed up!
We have since purchased a new refrigerator from a local appliance store and the unit was delivered and installed by a trained professional!(ice maker hook up in cellar ect)
You might save a couple bucks up front in buying from Home Depo but you will pay for it in the end by untrained installers and very poor service!
When we first started dealing with Home Depo years ago,they were great but no more!!

Hey Home Depot. You have an abusive employee at your Woodside Queens NYC Truck and Tool rental Store, who was shouting, screaming humiliating and intimidating my daughter. What's even more alarming is several other Home Depot employees witnessed this and would not provide his name or theirs. I've made several complaints and still no official correspondence. I guess I'll write this everywhere I can on social media til someone responds to me. John C

Bottom line I went in to the homedepot in Willow Grove, Pa on June 3rd. I was working late that evening ran into grab a bag of potting soil being in a rush I had left my car keys on a bag next to the bag I grabbed did not realize til I got out to my car that I had left them .Ran back in to garden area they were gone..I asked cashier did anyone turn in my keys he said no ..asked him to ask customer service which was a joke
. They said NO and started laughing I knew they were lieing ....For almost 3hrs I was held at that store by these 2employees that had my keys all's they did was laugh Everytime I asked wher they are ...I was harrased, humiliated , played with like a circus clown .I lost money etc .. finally right before this employee Debbie checked out for the nite the keys were on the counter at customer service Manager Nate asked were did these come from who put them ther ? Don't know ! Lier lier. No one should go through what I went through it was hell ..I will have justice for what happend homedepot Willow Grove is responsible for what happend.

On Jun 17, 2003, I placed an online order for a refrigerator through the Home Depot website, eagerly anticipating its delivery by Temco Logistics. Unfortunately, the first delivery attempt turned out to be an utter failure. When the delivery person arrived at my apartment, they glanced inside and abruptly left, stating that they would return shortly. Regrettably, the delivery person never returned, leaving me and my family bewildered and without any explanation.

Concerned about this incident, I immediately contacted Home Depot's customer service, seeking assistance and clarification. I was assured by your representative that the subsequent delivery would be handled by a more experienced team to avoid any further issues. However, to my dismay, the second delivery attempt was also a complete failure. The delivery personnel failed to show up at the scheduled time, despite the online system indicating that they had missed us.

Throughout this ordeal, I tried contacting Home Depot's and Temco Logistics customer service multiple times to seek clarification, express my frustration, and request a resolution to this matter. However, the level of responsiveness and assistance I received from your customer service department was alarmingly lacking. The lack of concern and support further aggravated my disappointment and dissatisfaction with Home Depot's services.

The consequences of these delivery failures were not insignificant. As we had cleared out our previous refrigerator in preparation for the new one, we were left without a functioning appliance for an extended period. The perishable food items we had stored spoiled, leading to a significant financial loss and inconvenience for my family.

I am having a frustrating experience with a damaged vanity and than a damaged replacement.This is holding up the opening of a commercial space. The store manager in East Haven,Ct, (Rich) helped resolve the situation with patience and a common sense resolution to my problem. Nothing can fix the lost time, inconvenience and frustration this caused, but an informed compassionate manager sure makes a customer feel appreciated. Thanks Rich

We ordered Appliances from there. Was given a delivery date. 1 day before delivery received a notice that it will be delivered 6 weeks later. When I went to the store to inquire, the delivery canceled it because the range was not in yet. So they canceled the whole delivery. Later the next day we found out that Samsung just canceled our range completely. No notice, and no refund. After communicating with the store employees ( who were extremely helpful ) a refund was issued. I am in Home Depot almost every day and purchase a lot of supplies. I know most of the employees personally. Sadly, I will no longer recommend the store for big purchases.
