Bought a dumb phone in Cedar park Tx Whitestone Store.over $80.00 never worked right (bad buttons)press button on screen MIGHT WORK ,MAYBE!!!
So I went to the store were I bought it, less than a month before, sorry we cant help U..... hear...... WHY??? I bought it hear!!!
gotta go to war. center.

att is great at wasting my time endlessly and my money. I dont have all day to speak to someone on the phone that can not speak ENGLISH!!!!!!!The point of sale is who I should be talking to. if att has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHY USE THEM!!! there are cheaper plans that have no service, but at least they tell U ,up front. WE S%&K!!! ATT just LIEs about EVERTHING!!!!they have 0 service but hey, they are real SORRY, WE ARE SO DAMM SORRY !!!! ATT U need to spend more time on service and less time on 10 ways to pay my bills with 35 voice prompts!!! stop being so dam sorry and start up a customer service center IN THE USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATT go phone cancelled my phone number, "recycled it" (without letting me know) and took a payment - which went to the account they have given the number to! No notification, no verification and then the off-shore operator grills me on why I added money to someone else's account. "Because I thought it was mine, clown! You think I go around giving strangers money?" Infuriating. I have 7 numbers with ATT - office land lines, wireless etc. and I'm moving them all. All ATT want to do is upsell you to Uverse. I wouldn't let them cut my lawn.

I am right there with you. They will chat and call you back ....until you go live and then you can't find a person, its all this crap enter this enter that...no help whatsoever, in fact one woman 'let me look that up' just disconnected me. It is a rip off. I paid th 25./mo for supposedly unlimited texts...each one I sent I got their notice".20 charge" what??? I am NOT paying by the minute! They had no trouble billing me immediately for THAT. Total frustration!!

This GoPhone is so bad it's nearly a scam. The customer service is a maze of automated sleight of hand and dead ends. I bought the lousy phone for my daughter to call me for rides from the pool, etc - and in case of emergencies. I loaded $25.00 onto it, and can't even use it! It's activated and shows 3 bars out of 5 for reception, but every time I try to call I get "Warning! Service Not Available". I tried then to get my money back, but they changed my password and sent a text containing the new one to this GoPhone - which CANNOT RECEIVE TEXTS! And this is the only way to get the password! It's a scam.

home. Connectivity great. Customer service sucks! Now I remember why I dropped AT&T for Verizon several years ago. Nothing has changed. Service still sucks. You have lost a customer again for the final time!

Customer service representatives were very nice but every time I have called to change something the terms and conditions phone line does not work and it is very frustrating when it cuts you off completely and you have to call back again and again and again. This is still not resolved after repeated calls to them. You would think a phone company wouldn't have so many issues with a phone line! I am very frustrated.

will not let me add money when I call your number. Why. This is BS Fix it please. My daughter is stranded- it's 10:30 pm and I can't add money so I can talk to her. I hate your GO PHONE LACK OF SERVICE. THIS COULD MEAN HER LIFE OR DEATH.

Very frustrating and disappointing customer service automated help isn't much better.
So Glad I didn't follow instructions and put money into phone. All I need to do now is return phone. No harm done.. just one heck of a sleepness night! Good Riddens!!

I have an ATT go phone. I don't use phone often so this all I need. Signed a few years ago for automatic refill. Everytime the refill date gets close you get reminders and options to add money. This is before you can dial a number. It was a big deal 6 months ago when I was trying ti dial 911. Go to customer relations, Ha! You get option after option but NO LIVE PERSON to talk to. This customer Relations is a very sad joke.

service expiration date reported to me as 4-14-13 on last fillup to keep it going, yet on 4-10-13 it told me my time had expired on 4-04-13 when I went in to fill it ahead of expiration, and it stole 80.00 or more of accumulated time.
I've hated AT&T for a long time - someone ELSE got the phone for me when I was in the hospital that had NO phone wires to the room.
Nice little piece of equipment, TERRIBLE Company backing it up.

Agreed, this is one of the worst cust svc websites EVER. There's no apparent way to get to a live person, and the automated system sucks!

BIG problem still unresolved. This page absolute sucks. The phone numbers will NOT get me to a human being. The page for emailing is 'updating' and not in service. ATT made a mistake on my refill for my go-phone and I can't get a human being on the phone to correct it. I AM SO PISSED OFF THAT I MAY CANCEL MY ATT HOME PHONE that I have had for forty five years. I HATE ATT. They used to be a good company. I already dumped my ATT stock.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. After being in the hospital for over a month, my husband passed away. He had over $60.00 left on the cell phone that he uses which is ATT Go Phone. I have the same service and both phones are in my name. I tried to get them to refund or transfer the balance from my husbands number to mine. According to them, they can not do either. I got this answer after and hour and fifteen minutes and speaking to 2 different people who were supposedly talking to a representative and then a supervisor. There is no reason for them to be like that since I own the minutes anyway. I will use them for outgoing calls so that I can receive calls on my other number. It's pretty obvious that no one will be calling him. After spending 34 days and nights at the hospital with a gravely ill husband, I don't need to be treated like I am trying to steal from them. When the minutes are gone the phones will be destroyed and I will move on to a decent company who cares about the customer and has decent customer service. No one has to be treated like this. I agree with previous comments. I tried for an hour and wasn't able to speak to a representative. The automated "help" to a point may be of assistance in some instances but only serves to frustrate the caller
when a live person is needed

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PHONE COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD.

The service is bad, there are no human representatives, i have been overcharged 3 times, put on a package renewal service and charged for it twice. Plus the website looks and makes me feel inadequate ( like they don't care what we think). at&t you really messed up big time.

I would reiterate the below comments. Customer service is unhelpful after you spend an hour and several phone calls in which the automated service simply hangs up on you. When you reach a person they cannot actually help you. DON'T GET A GOPhone!!!

Purchased a Go Phone Went through Auto Set Up..Added Minutes.. When I Tried To Use The Phone A Few Minutes After Set Up And Adding Minutes,I Was Advised I Had No Minutes! The Worse Service I Have Ever Encountered...Go With Another Company..Stay Away From AT&T!!!!!

Very tired of AT&T Go phone. I have a smarphone for 18 months now under the GoPhone plan. It is very expensive, and you have to pay extra for data on a smartphone. Customer service by phone is India, and they are useless when it comes to helping you or answering questions. If you go into one of the stores, they are even worse...a bunch of shirt and tie guys and gals walking around, arrogant, and just generally uninterested in you. They took away data usage on smartphones for $2 a day plan. I hate it. Anyone know of a better company/plan?

Cannot reach a live human being for complaints. Bought a go phone card by mistake for my son and found out he does not have this service. I tried to return the card to the store and they said to contact att. Contacted att and after the run around was referred to the retail store only to be told that they cannot refund my $50 either because they cannot look up the card # or my son's account, WTF??? They should be able to see if a card was used and be able to refund my money and zero out the card number. GRRRR!

Just spent 30 minutes trying to reach a person or email address for gophone, only available customer service is automated phone tree, with no human access option. grrrrrrr. Tried on the online log in (also a real hassle but I did eventually get to my account info). But it did not have the history information I wanted (how much I have paid in monthly fees (seems like it is charging the 25$ monthly fee more than every 30 days).

Not at all helpful.

Was not told that $500 was the limit on minutes you could store up. Took our $100 to refill so as not to loose the 500 saved minutes and then said we can't renew because it will put us over the 500 minutes. Refuse to refund our $100 and can not reach customer service. When the store tech finally reached a live person we were sent back into the loop again and no resolution to our problem. They have our money and we have nothing.

Do not get prepaid phone. Balance expires. No one told me it would. Could not find my children. Phone number was given to someone else. Very scary. I had a large balance on it. Had no idea they would take take money and give number away.
Stay away from AT&T.

I have tried 3 hours to get to there customer svc.
We have a $240 credit and they have disc our svc but no one to talk to. Have never seen such terrible svc and I worked for them for 30 years. Guess I go to Verizon!
They obviously need some new management or maybe some of us older ones who knew how to give excellent svc!
