We was just at your store in Marion, IL so my Husband could get some sights for his gun & one of your workers in the firearms depatment named Brad called my Husband a Woman. My Husband & I were very insulted by this remark. My Husband loved shopping at your store & would like to continue to shop there. I think this employees should have the comon courtesy to call people folks instead of Ma'am or Sir when he can't tell the difference.

On 9/3 I called your automated line to pay my bill. Your system would not acknowledge my acc.information .This went on for 3 tries, after each attempt, was transfered to cust. service which had the correct information. They would not wave the 9 dollar service fee which I asked them to do cause of the aggravtion that I incurred. So I would be switched back to the automated system and once again the system did not have my correct info. Finally I was connected to service rep. Bernice she showed the type of compassion and concern that a customer appreciate. Thank you for serv. reps. Like Bernice. For her sevice I give her a 10+ Yours Robert Mclellan

Gander mountain in texarkana is absolutely the worst store for customer service. Ive tried 3 days in a row to get information on some shotguns i wanted to purchase only to be put on hold. The shortest time being 10 minutes. After i got tired of being on hold today i thought I would speak to a manager about it. Gues what??!! Yep, on hold again. No wonder the parking lot is empty. I intended on buying a 12, 20, and 410 shotguns and just wanted to see if they had them in stock.

Purchased eye shields and found them in line for $10.00 cheaper. Had paid with a debit card. Would not honor the better price that was online through Amazon, then instead of crediting my debit card I was given cash... Thanks for the added trip to the bank :-(. Since when does a large company like Gander Mountain not have the capabilities of just recrediting my debit. FAIL!!!! Not to mention had just dropped over $900.00 the week before. And u can't credit me the simple $10.00 difference. Poor customer service

I shop your store and because of clearance sale several times this last couple months...There is a gentleman named Brent...Doesn't wear a vest but a badge...Before I seen badge I ask his name...I was furious the was he was talking and treating his employees...That day I heard sales clerks talking about quitting as I heard also couple had already walked out..there was only one manager answering calls to check out..From feeling I got from sales assoc.things were tense and seemed to be about Store Manager...If you've had excessive employee turnover I can say without doubt it's because of Brent..He talks down to everyone even Customers from my observation..Was going by bout7.15 few days ago and people were waiting outside..Stopped to ask about sale since there was several waiting and was told person that was suppose to open hadn't showed up.Guess what that person was Brent..Other Manager was off they said..and ONE came in later...I Worked retail 35 years and notice things when I'm in store..Narcisstic is what I would call him from observing him. Know you probably don't care but someone should be aware of how he talks and acts toward employees and customers

How can your registers be down every Saturday morning? This is frustrating and probably my last trip here. Then to have one of your workers thinking it's funny really is very upsetting!

I was in our Albany store on Sat. the 2nd. of July, at 2:00. HAd my purchases at the register. Had taken a t-shirt off sale rack. Of course there was not a tag, the cashier did not act very nice about, she just said this shirt is not on sale for 7.97 with 25% off. I said well it was hanging with the others. Instead of her offering to find outhe price she rudely said it is a different material. She was so rude I got upset with her, she rudely turned to a couple in line me, and said somebody is losing their patience on this holiday weekend. My daughter went back to find another shirt. There was not another just like it. She proceeded to say it was not on sale. I proceeded to say it is. Then a guy walked up and said she gets it for $5.97. I said I thought so, the customer is always right. She rung us up and looked at me and said, "You need to go home and take a nap." I almost came unglued. I have never seen a cashier act like this before, and I probably will not darken your door again. This is a shame because my 11 yr. old grandson loves your store. I admit she made me mad and I wasn't nice after her last comment, but I don't like being talked to by anybody in this way. Oh by the way, we looked for our receipt in the car, it wasn't there. We went back, and she did not have it. She wrote her name on a piece for returning and signed it Debbie.

I received a gift of a Columbia blouse for my birthday. I exchanged it for a different size 4 days after the original purchase date. I had a gift receipt with me. Within that four day period the blouse had gone off sale. I was charged the difference. This should have been a simple exchange with no cash changing hands. This occurred at store #00275 on May 8, 2016.

Customer service at Gander Mountain in Watertown N.Y. is a joke. I have waited in line twice within the last four weeks, attempting to at least be granted a "may I help you, sir"? I have had, both times, money in my pocket that I wanted to leave in the store after making a purchase, but no one would even grant me the courtesy of a hello, so I left with my money.
Over the past few years, I have spent a considerable amount of money at Gander Mountain on hunting and other outdoor related equipment. After today, I will never, ever spend a single penny in any store even remotely associated with Gander Mountain. I'm sure this letter will be acknowledged in the same manner as I have become accustomed to from the "sales" associates at your store...just one more disgruntled customer, no big deal. Just a parting thougt on customer service...oh never mind, I almost forgot that it's not part of your business model.

Went to return a jacket I bought a couple of weeks ago without a receipt. Item still had tags attached and perfect shape. Best they could do was give me 39 dollars on a 60 dollar item in store credit. Very disappointing. After spending $800 there during that shopping trip I do not plan to return again. Should reconsider your return policy or risk disappointing more customers.

Just wanted to comment on a on how I was treated with a product I purchased from the Fayetteville NC store. I bought a fish finder from this store and had an issue with it, varied it back and was exchanged and had a great visit. This product had the same issue. The first visit the employee told me they had several to be returned for the same issue. It was an electronic so the warranty was out to the receipt for the second one. The issue I have was I need to have help to find out how to fix it or exchange it. The first exchange the employee told me to bring it back if I had any issues since the exchange was a demo. The problem is the manager there the second time seemed like he needed to get back to watching TV or something that he didn't have time for me, told me to just send it back to the manufacturer. I considered Gander Mountain to be a professional store not a WalMart. With the way I was treated I will never go back and rather go to WalMart. These employees didn't act one bit like they cared to help like s personal should. I did call the manufacturer, not sent it back, and they told me what to do and fixed it in about thirty seconds. It would be of great benefit that your employees, especially manager s have a professional attitude to help their customers, if not you might as well be s WalMart.

Gander Mountain's customer service is terrible! Compared to other companies their customer service reps follow very poor policies! They make guarantees on their items, and then when their items are defective within the warranty period they do NOT stand behind them. When calling in to replace an item their responses are always the same. They are NOT customer friendly and at Gander Mountain the customer is NEVER first! For a company this size they hire and train reps with TERRIBLE customer service policies.

i went into dothan ,al store to look at boots to wear out in my muddy woods. there was three pairs i wanted to try on. i had to walk around store to find someone for help, she called someone that worked that dept., when the girl finally showed up, she only had one pair for me to try on, being after christmas , i understood low inventory. she said she has no idea when new shipment would be in and walked off.then went and visited with someone standing in dept waiting to see her .how rude, how can you not know when you have new shipment coming in your dept., how about asking me if she can contact me when she gets new shipment, i was ready to spend 129. on a pair, guess they dont need the sales.

My sister gave ma a Gander Mountain hooded sweatshirt for Christmas. I have a sweatshirt with the same color so just wanted to trade. The tags were in the sweatshirt for $49 plus change but I didn't have a receipt so they said I could only get $19 plus change. I got a sweatshirt for $29 and paid the extra. I took it to the truck and went back in to look and got to the bathroom. The same sweatshirts were on a table for the same price as was on the tag in the one I returned so I decided to ask for my gifted shirt back. The clerk couldn't figure it out ( he was young and did his job so he called another person. Seemed like a manager. A girl came to help him and he said"I'm just trying to take care of him to get HIM out the door". This store was in Oldsmar, FL

My husband told the girl) Mary Grace) that tje hat wss on sale she said oh well the girl that works in.that dept. Was busy

I was very upset and somewhat pissed to find i cant make a purchase on your web site with my Gander Mountain store card. I was told i have to drive to the store and buy a gift card to then go home and make a purchase. That is a load! You cant modernize your site to help your customers so your company can profit?

Last week went in to Gander in Cicero to purchase a gun. Waited 1 1/2 hour at the counter after taking a number. Walked out. Went back today and waited 45 minutes after taking a number. Planned on spending quite a bit. Guess I will take my business to Cabellas.

I purchased a firearm at a local store after going to my local G.M.and having them send me back to get my firearm. I called the corporate office and was reffered back to the G.M. that would not price match to start with, after no satisfaction again I have just decided to no longer give my hard earned money to G.M. and I tell everyone I can about the false advertising on your price matching.

I have been coming to this Gander since it opened. This store has improved dramatically in the last few months, from their customer service, prices and the store is clean. I spent over $800 in the store yesterday and the store manager came up and introduced herself, walked me around to show me some new items, and I was blown a way by her knowledge and she was engaged genuinely. I will continue to come here and recommend this store to all my family and friends. Thank you for making the changes and making it fun to come shop your store.

Some time ago, I called my local store here in Arlington, Texas about an offer I observed while in you store in The Highlands.
It seems the offer detailed a $40 gift card if I used my Gander Mountain Mastercard twice in the month of July.
I called your store about the reward and was told the store customer relations person would research it and return my call.
Now, several weeks later, I have never heard back from Gander Mountain.
Leave it to Gander Mountain to reneg on a reward offer, then when an inquiry is made, never follow thru.

Gander has lots of gun expert but the worst archery. I was charged $10 for draw length adjustment and the guy had no clue what he was doing. He even asked me at one point "where does this screw go"! After leaving I went to cabela to make sure I don't kill myself trying my bow. Turns out the guy from gander had the adjustment set up so bad that my $600 bow would of been broken if i would of shot it.

Gander mt Bemidji is awful! My husband and I will never shop there again! My husband asked for help and the gal was wonderful, but the two guys were snobbish and refused to even talk to my husband, and the worst part is Cory one of the associates aslo works for Home Depot and hes an idiot there also. So now we are making a trip to Fargo just to buy stuff
