Verizon Service is awful and "mistakes" always seem to benefit Verizon. I am a long-time customer. The service used to be so good.
The "My Verizon" App takes you in circles if you want to cancel "add-ons." The automated phone service is worse. The reps have made mistakes, e.g., sold me a new plan when I called for international service on upcoming trip (because the international was cheaper with that plan), and falsely told me it would apply to the trip, instead of the discounted service only kicking in after I came back and didn't need it.
They have made other patent mistakes, and fixing them is nightmarish. Their coverage is the reason I have stayed, but I am about to sacrifice having service at place we go to in the mountains in order to get away from Verizon.
Stephanie at store 60 Indianapolis Blvd, highland IN was curt and not very service oriented. Her non welcoming attitude without a smile made me leave and go to a different store.
Usually they are extremely helpful and this am I had Ashley in the phone to cancel my deceased mothers phone and transfer to my 85 yr old father. Couldn't have been nicer even though the 30% savings didn't transfer which should have applied given it was a deceased person situation. But not her fault just Verizon rules and I did NOT want to deal with Stephanie to add my NEW line to my fathers bill to lower his cost.

Elissa was the absolute best so was James from Minnesota,they are with the ACP customer service. I am not gonna lie at first I was afraid of Verizon as they are known to be super high with services but after time they offer better incentives. The cube is awesome if I can get mine to work without resetting it several times daily. Also buy one get one free on iPhones is a complete scam,you will pay $8-9 for the second phone so it is not FREE. Verizon stop lying in your fine print to attract customers. Forget an Iphone I'm going back to an android.
After switching plans and purchasing a new phone from Wireless Zone a Verizon store, within one day we started getting text spam from Verizon for additional services available at increased costs. This is very unprofessional and not appreciated. When calling the store in Naples, Florida where we reside the response was a confirmation that yes these were from Verizon and they could not anything about it.
I am very disappointed in the after marketing approach and my overall trust of these services is now non- existent.

I went to this "authorized dealer" (on 5/7/23) because it was close proximity to my residence - I typically shop/frequent the non-franchise locations; as I realize that franchises are more willing to upsell and not honor what the corporate stores are advertising. Nonetheless, I stopped in this particular "authorized dealer" to see if they would honor the advertised Verizon trade-in on my S21+ phone - the transaction was going good when they would. During my 2 HOUR transaction, the individual who was assisting me (Bryon) said that I while the data is being transferred I can look at their accessories. I looked and didn't find the case I prefer, so I ordered a case on Amazon for $40, to be delivered the same day to my residence. I told Bryon that I'll get a case on my own; at which time, that I could pick out any phone case because "it was included." I said, it was "included" - he replied "yes." Byron also stated that an screen protector and wall charger (aka brick) was "included" as well. I thought, well if it is "included" then I'll take a case that as a back-up. Bryon continued to share the good news, that I pre-qualified for a CC w/ $200 of store credit, which I declined. Bryon tried to upsell me on my home internet service, which I declined. Bryon said that the new phone also "included a FREE Samsung Watch 5" (valued over $200) - with the disclaimer that I would have to pay a "$5.00 monthly fee for the service." I said, why $5.00 for a Bluetooth watch; at which time, Bryon explained that the watch was a dedicated line and I didn't need to be close to my phone for the watch to work - it is a stand alone LTE watch w/ all the apps that is on my phone. I'm like cool - I can talk/text through my watch, even if I inadvertently leave my phone at home - SIGN ME UP for this "FREE watch." After I selected my watch, he didn't have it in stock, but the "FREE watch" would be delivered on Tuesday (5/9) - I said, no problem. During, checkout for my new phone - The bill was $216.63. After 2 HOURS of sitting there and being held for constant upselling progandana - I just paid and left the store. Later, I realized Bryon charged me for wall charger ($39.99), the screen protector ($49.99) and the case ($50.00) - all items that Bryon said was "included." I said to myself, my recourse is to return the items when I pickup my watch and/or write a lengthy blog (so, here it is as promised...this could've been a positive blog but it was the sales associates/manager that dictated the outcome!)
On 5/9, I went to the store and another associate was willing to assist me with my watch; however, it never arrived. This sales associate said, they "would contact me when the watch arrives." Well, being alittle bewildered - I went home.
On 5/12, I got a call from the "Authorized Dealer" store aka Verizon....stating my watch was in. I said, great - just to confirm; all I need to do is come in and pick it up? This sales associate said, yes.....(wait for it)...all I would have to do is pay the sales taxes. I replied, on a FREE watch? The sales associate replied, "yes." So, much for FREE - so, I said how much are the sales taxes on the "FREE watch" - the reply was $15-$20 dollars. I said, okay I'll be in shortly.
On 5/15, I went to the "authorized dealer" Verizon store to pick-up my "FREE watch" that is going to cost me (average) of $17.00 plus $5.00 a month. This time, a individual came out wearing a name tag scribed with "store manager" - I should get great customer service now for sure! HAHA!
I tried reaching technical support and they said a little bit and hung up on me without helping me figure out this new unlocked phone. I have an free service through qlink. And they just hung up on me when they realized that I don't have a Verizon account and I'm not interested in switching to them because they sure wouldn't give me free service. I wouldn't give them even one star and would never do a plan with them with such HORRIBLE service.
They are thief's, they refund me $27 from $225.69 I need to call first hour to cancel phone and service ,and make 7 calls each time lazy give me different explanation and don't know what going on , never send me notifications, they are crack thieves ,I will take legal action ,Olson the guy asked me about my social security I'm afraid he sold cause thus centre call in India, Verizon is fredulent company, stay a way
I have unlimited data. I have an iPad and use cellular data. Verizon throttles me constantly. I can look out my windows and see two cell towers near my house. Yet the data is so slow to the point of being unusable. They say they prioritize data..but the real word is throttle. It's like Putin's "special operation" Verizon "prioritizes" instead of throttling. It should be illegal. They are stealing from their customers. They are liars and cheats.
I misplaced my phone and tried to login to verizon.com to deactivate my phone until I relocate my phone. The only option that verizon gives me to verify my login is to receive a text on the phone I misplaced. I called customer service and they asked if I was given an option to have a verification sent to my email instead. I was not given this option. The customer service agent was unable to help with with this poorly designed system. The customer service agent was surprised that I thought their system was poorly designed. As soon as I decide on a new carrier, I will switch my service to my new carrier. I am baffled at how incompetent verizon is.
Business customer of Verizon for 10 years, Personal customer for 6 years prior. All small business owners are extremely busy. When we call customer service or tech support our needs typically go well beyond the outsourced customer service capabilities Verizon forces us to call. On-line chat is a complete joke and waste of energy. Website menu navigation is overwhelming and partially functions. For the price consumers pay, I should not be in a online chat for 2-hours battling other chatters for attention from the representative or on the phone with customer service reps that tell me to unplug my phone, stand closer to a window when using my phone, or direct me to fix it myself on their dysfunctional website. I have now begun calling competitors to look for business solution options that better cater to a small business and offer simplicity.

Horrible customer service. Navigating the automated system to connect with a live person is extremely challenging. If you forget your My Verizon password and try to ask for a new password, they just lock your account. Cell service continues to become increasingly worse with increasingly less coverage over time.
I have been a customer of Verizon wireless for 17 years paid every payment! But when I walk into a store with a problem they treat me like total crap, like I don't matter unless I want to buy something! It used to not be that way! People used to be very helpful! This is the third phone I'm having to restart in 11 days, no one will help me in the store they just want to get rid of me as soon as possible. So therefore I have to go through technical support, the insurance company which I have 100% coverage, the manufacturer manufacturer and no one wants to take responsibility of my 100% coverage coverage it's ridiculous! I have spent in the last 9 days over 30 hours on my phone my husband's phone driving to Verizon stores and still my new phone doesn't have a camera that works I am so sick of Verizon! And then my husband said he found a bill that you charged me $150 for my account for what? I am not satisfied with Verizon anymore! Somebody better be listening out there!
I started with Verizon in January 2023. I have never regretted a decision more. They say customer service can make or break a company.
.well Verizon is a "broken" company! Verizon customer service will lie over and over again just to get you off the phone. I returned my brand new phone in for a refurbished phone listening to their lies, and the refurbished phone had the "EXACT" same problems!! So now I'm paying almost $1000 for a used phone! For "FOUR" month's I have been lied to by Verizon's customer service, and have been in and out of their stores trying to get satisfaction on my "EXPENSIVE" investment, to no avail! I want to just give up and keep my junkie phone, because I am exhausted with them, but that is what this company hopes for! No Way!!! I will file reviews and tell everyone I know that "Verizon Wireless Is CRAP"!!!
I have spent my lunch hour trying to get a live agent to assist with login issues which shouldn't have occurred since I set up the Verizon app with the biometric login. Now that the system has blocked me for going over three attempts to login, I now have to wait 24 hours to try again because the live agent can't assist me or I have to be inconvenienced to go by a local Verizon store to verify who I am. Had the damn app worked in the first place, there would be no issue. Furthermore, why the hell doesn't the live agent have the ability to unlock the block so I can go into my account to make a purchase. Well this is definitely my que to take my business somewhere else!
If you live on the north shore of Long Island New York and take the railroad get ready for no signal until you are west of Huntington. How can a company this big have such a large area with no signal. Not with the money. Can't even submit this for 20 minutes because I am on train now. Says check your connection and try again.
Id give them a negative star rating if I could. Worst service provider and their billing sucks. Being billed for 339 more than what I should be. Switched in December bad mistake. They in four months time I have paid over 900 in fees and service and device payments. My bill should be around 224 and well let's just say it's hasn't been right. Then they turn in off and are charging me 189 for reconnect and other random fees. The dude Jordan said he would take care of it and when asking if he was and if it was going to be all or partial he ignored me and said I never asked that. I have proof I. Text messages and I should have listened to a friend when they said don't. It's a buck of B.S. for three phones and two are free to pay this amount and get taken advantage. At least with AT&T the Lu worked with me and didn't double charge me like Verizon. Don't switch. Biggest mistake l have made. Don't be like me and get screwed with no satisfaction.
It would definitely be a 0 if i didn't have ro rate this service This has been the worse for thee amount if money you pay for your service awful awful from the beginning my order was completely wrong ups would re deliver my phone because the rep got everything wrong I had to go a pick up the phone I'm starting to totally dislike this company totally all of the money you pay for they are awful
