Horrible. My daughter forgot her password and when she clicks the password reset the company does not send the reset link. Took weeks to get an initial response. I have spent the last 3 weeks going back and forth with a rep. Bottom line I supplied the type of purchase confirmation receipt the website states is needed in order to get the password reset fixed yet I am then told the dates do not match the day she created her user ID. It was created over 6 yrs ago! No way anyone would remember the exact day they created the ID after purchase. Regardless, I have the email from the Mojang company and they won't help my daughter reset the password for "security reasons". I have the info their website lists and the rep won't help me. I asked to speak with a higher level troubleshooting technician and the rep blew me off telling me she can't help a message is closing the help ticket. Ludicrous. Worst customer service ever.

Similarly to Julia's post on April 20th, I had my Minecraft account hacked. I was able to recover it, but my account name had been changed. I would think permitting me to change it sooner than the 30 day limit would be easy enough for a large company like Mojang to accomplish, but they clearly do not care. This issue was escalated 27 days ago, so it's almost resolved without their assistance, but still, I'm ashamed of the lack of communication from this company.

I believe someone has stolen my account, and all mojang support have done is send me automated emails about "common issues". No one has looked at my issue to help me restore my account. TWO MONTHS and counting!

Clearly, once mojang has your money, they no longer care.

Issue not resolved after almost four months. Any response I've gotten didn't even acknowledge my actual issue and were just canned messages sent out in bulk. The latest one basically said they were blindly closing tickets they 'think' are resolved in order to clear their queue so I had to open a new ticket, meaning the whole thing is just starting over from the beginning. I've also tried reaching out on twitter but the only response I ever get is "Sorry for the delay"

It has been months and I still have not recieved a response from the support. The problem is one completly of their own creation. When migrating accounts they allow many users accounts to be stolen and the emails changed leaving no way for me and others to reclaim accounts that we payed for. Their process requires that you have the statements records from the purchase not just the receipt code which I do have. I purchased the game in 2013 and therefore have no way to find the exact transaction with the transaction code that they need to give my account back to me.

Terrible customer support. They take weeks to reach out, ask for information, then say that information can't be used to solve the problem and run you in circles.

Someone stole my account and I've been trying to recover it for almost 3 weeks. I've sent them proof of purchase which is what they initially asked for, but then they were, "having trouble looking those up right now." Despite being sent a receipt, date and time of purchase and other relevant information they still refuse to get me my account back.

Absolute trash customer service and I'm going to have to pay for the game twice to get access again. Screw this company.

Minecraft support is trash. I have now tried to recover my account a bit under 10 months. The few times i do get a response, wich is between 1-2 months, it contains suggestions i told them i had tried and dont work.

Their support is awful, my account was hacked and I'm trying to resolve it for 2 years now. It takes them atleast over a week to respond to each e-mail, if they do at all.

They took a whole 4 months to respond to a email change request and then followed up with a different support ticket as they aren't the 'people to come to'.

Super shady company that falsely advertises free bonuses for paying customers but won't give out codes unless you pay another $30. Never seen anything like this out of a successful gaming company it's pretty disgusting.

How do i get a refund for both game and add ons? Don't like ge at all now you've changed it to match the crap on xbox, user interface sucks, having to have a microsoft account to access the stuff Iv already paid for. Game is slow to load, slow to save slow to do anything, can't switch auto save off or change textures on an existing save.... I want the ps4 version I paid for and enjoyed, not this rubbish, I don't like xbox and never gave done because they are substandard machines, the fact you've made something I enjoyed playing into complete rubbish, and can't play now... Just for some naff bees and to play with xbox users. I don't know anyone that even uses an xbox so other than really annoying me, the update was a complete waste of time, bring back minecraft ps4 or refund the money iv already spent, as the game I payed for is not the game you updated it into.

Now I love all the new updates in the past. But this new one v1.13.0
Its HORRIBLE AND I MEAN HORRIBLE when you pvp its super lagging and itry to join server but it always crash you said you fixed it. Im really made bc I spent money on this game just for this horrible update i feel like uninstalling it and never installed it.. This worst update please fix it. But other than that it okay.

As of today, 9/26/19, They are supposedly responding to tickets from july 23. I went to go see if this was real because it honestly boggles the mind that a billion dollar company can't answer an email in under 2 months. When I found a post on their forums, it went as follows:

Mod: There is nothing we can do about this and since this is just complaining I am closing this thread.

There is OBVIOUSLY something they can do about it, which is hire more support staff. The fact that you can't even mention it without a moderator closing the thread really says it all. They are just digging their heads into the sand so they can't hear any complaints.

This goes beyond bad, this is absolutely terrible and shows absolutely no respect for their customer base. Don't buy anything from this company.

I supported the company when their game, Minecraft, was in Alpha. Trying to log into my account caused problems and I was directed to customer support. Apparently, you two options are an IRC chat with volunteers, or submitting a customer service request. Over the last week, their support services have been listed as currently servicing requests from literally 59-62 days ago.

Let that sink in. That's a TWO MONTH queue for support. I rated them as "2" for reachability as they at least have a queue. I considered buying another copy of the game but I'm not giving anyone who prioritizes customer support so low any of my money again.

I bought a Mojang minecraft prepaid card at Walmart. I followed the instructions and it says it has already been redeemed. I checked my daughters Microsoft account to see if it has been downloaded and nothing.
I have send an email over two weeks ago and nothing. Pretty crappy customer service. I will never, ever buy anything else from Mojang ever again!

Bought Minecraft years ago and recently wanted to try to play it again, only to find my account has been stolen. After putting in a ticket to customer support and waiting approx a month and half, no response other than them letting me know they recieved my ticket.
I followed a link in a confirmation email that they sent me, where I learned that they are currently working on tickets from well over two months ago. They gave some pretty awful excuses as well, citing that their customer service agents are often busy with school because I guess Mojang can't afford or doesn't see the need to hire actual employees?
They clearly can't afford to provide help for their paying customers, so they're obviously not a company worth giving your money to if you intend to actually use the product yourself.
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered, mostly because it's nonexistent.

Reached mojang support for not getting any recovery password email, asked me a bank transaction from 10 years ago or more so, ask me the month and year, doesn't even want to help by giving the month so i can search on the account of my mother (i was underage at that moment and didn't had a card).

Doesn't really matter to me since i've cracked it, but it really is a scummy way to do.
They know the demographics of people at that time, kids using their parents paiements. Since they've purchased it from someone else, they had to find a way with saying "it's for security of the accounts", so you're kind of forced to buy it again.

Mojang support? Laughable in a not so funny way. I have a subscription for the Java version of Minecraft, but my kid cannot not log in due to the absolute mess they've made with their authentication/authorization processes. Their error messages are useless. Their help pages are useless. I submitted an email request for help on 8/1 and am told they are working on request s from July 25th - 8 days behind. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY WITH MOJANG AND THE JAVA version of this game.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I submitted a bug report and in under a minute it was closed by a MOD and labelled as resolved as a"duplicate issue" but the report that they linked it to was completely unrelated from my issue. Trying to follow up on that I received absolutely no response, absolutely ghosted. For this reason I will never, ever buy into realms, Minecraft merchandise, or any ther game produced by Mojang
