Just "automatically" had my subscription renewed -- for 2018! -- via a debit card number I didn't give them. Tried to contact them using their email instructions without a reply. Unable to find a valid customer service number for them.

Last email I sent stated that "I will find them, and I will kill them."

Anyone have any idea where they are physically located? I meant it about the killing thing...

I subscribed to your Clean-up a few days ago, and was given poor directions about how to install it. That is, I was instructed to go to Interface and click on Settings, but Settings was not listed. Nor could I find Registration or Subscription, or a place to type in my activation code, which is 866951-7679.





Why must I do this. Why doesn't Avast do it? You can do it.



If Avast will not give me clear, usable instructions, please unsubscribe me from my unused Clean-up.

I have sent multiple messages requesting assistance with my current subscription - to re download onto a new computer. I have attempted to log-in multiple times to download my Avast product but the customer service portal says 'it does not recognise my email address - no such email address'. No one from customer service has responded to my requests for assistance. I then emailed asking for assistance to cancel my subscription - still no reply.

Today I received an email from Avast wishing me a merry christmas. Thanks for nothing. Over the past 3 years I have found the customer service extremely poor. I will never use Avast again.

I am so disappointed with customer service. i have a billing question and have tried to reach a human being with 5 different phone numbers. I have 3 order #,s in the system I had an automatic renewal account, but I mistakenly ordered a 60 day trial. Now I want to make sure i am not billed twice. a charge on my credit card came through today for 53.11. please amke sure i am not billed again . thank you barbara pesaturo

I have had nothing but trouble with avast. I tried to update my payment information today -- WHAT A HASSLE!!! And, of course, no phone # to call. You really need to hire someone to make your customer service via computer reasonable competent, at a minimum. It's so bad it makes me wonder what else you're not competent at.

I have recently had TWO amounts Deducted from my Bank Account, and would like to know WHY ?

I have been trying to reach a live person for days- about our account. I leave messages on the phone- you tell me to go to e-mail - I go to e-mail you tell me to call. I have questions. Please call or give me a number that I can speak actually to a live person!!!!

I paid for Avast software on 7-5-16. I now get a message that my Avast will expire in 5 days. I called your support number and was told you have no record of my purchase, BUT Avast has many retailers that sells your software, and you cannot help me. I have a reference #, but that doesn't help you. What a rip OFF!!!

Avast software took money off my credit card with out permission . i will get my money back . You willn.t take my hard earn money without permission. Seeyour business effect all over the internet. You can't submit a ticket, they have you looking all over the internet trying to fine a ticket to submit when it's one to submit. Your name will go on better business to investigate and not practice in my stat. 0 rating in my book

Had Avast for several years and preferred it to others- never had a problem till now. This year I have ended up paying several times to renew because it keeps stop working and it won't let me into my account. Not a great memory so I just checked up and fund I have paid several times in the last year. Not only that but you pay for one year but don't get it for the year- my new licenses ends after six months. Nobody has replied from Customer support and the phone number they give out on their email is not recognised. Just looking at everyone's feedback here I realise this is a common problem. Can't help but wonder if this is a scam- do they make their money by double charging?

I have been trying to find a contact so I can get a refund Of US$49.99 due to an unauthorized charge for Avast (DRI) anti-virus software. When I try different Avast websites, all I get are advertisements on how to get your products.



I am a retired GM executive with a background in quality and customer service, and I find your customer service poor. I have wasted over 2 hours trying to get in contact with the proper person/department. The email address for which I am trying to get the refund is my wife's, b the Visa card ending in 1736. When I first bought Avast they charged twice the subcription. Now they have renewed it before the old one expiring and have charged three times the subscription I paid a year ago. I have sent them two emails, no reply. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

Avast (Digital River) has a pending transaction in the amount of $43.19 which I cancelled late last year, spoke with Digital River and they were no help except to cancel forward going transaction, this is unacceptable, there is no way to contact AVAST. Worst customer service ever.

apparently avast has in small print where you authorize them to renew the following year. Crooked behavior. I called the bank and asked them to not accept charge I will not pay.
I furthermore won't use them again because of this.

Hi I am your customer. Few weeks ago I sent an email regarding the renewal of the anti virus. I said I don't want to renew it with you. I have got a cheaper one and i already have paid to the other company. This morning I got an email stating you have renewed and taken $39.90 from my credit card. I trusted you gave you my card number. If I asked you to stop, you vave to stop it. Please, refunf back my money and I need you in the future, i will contact you.

I paid $119.95 to have clean my computer and nobody touched it . 2 people was suppose to send me a form but nothing. I am contacting the BBB and a lawyer. They are not going to get away with this, I have been on hold today for 1 and 1/2 hours.

I have tried several times to cancel my Automatic Renewal and I havent been able to reach anyone....I,m hoping they will not just take my payment because I need it to stop.....there isnt even a way to do it on the phone....terrible

Billed for a service I didn't request. Tried to resolve it through AVAST but after 2 hours of sitting on hold and/or wading through inept department officials and unhelpful operators, I was told in so many words to shove it. I did call my credit card company and the matter was resolved (they are disputing the charge for me) in a matter of minutes. Why didn't I just go to them first? This company is predatory at best and intentionally criminal at worst.
