I am so over State Farm. The agents at the Austell, Ga location are VERY unprofessional. ( Tricia and Robert) I recently started my policy with Sate Farm in June, and since then they haven't had their stuff together. I am currently under my mothers insurance, but separate policies. I gave them my card number when I FIRST started my insurance. July came around and no money was taken from my account. I give them a call and come to find out my policy has been cancelled. I was livid. I was driving around with no insurance for a month. Knowing that, I went ahead and paid the 90% of my insurance. I call again today to see when my next payment is due, come to find out my policy has been cancelled AGAIN. These imbecile's ended up making that payment towards my mother's policy. I am so tired of these dummies not knowing how to make payments toward ONE account. They have one job and cant even do that right. Now, they are trying to make me pay for insurance when I did NOT have any according to them. State Farm has to get it together! Retrain their employee's, something! They are NOT there like a good neighbor. Unlike them, a GOOD neighbor is more helpful than hurtful.

Just heard resolution of accident that was clearly other person's fault. The mediators decided both drivers negligent, so black-eye on my record. Don't feel State Farm fought for my innocence. It was a rather small claim, but feel very disappointed with State Farm for the handling of accident. Feel it was a political decision.

I was curious why a company so substantial ensuring people all over the world would be so subject today 9:00 someone insurance due to circumstances they did not understand I think it's prejudice for a company to not allow someone to have insurance researching the background of that individual due to circumstances I think it's a joke and it's no wonder our economy is the way it is because all corporations hold people accountable without understanding not all situations are the same but I will say this I still do have insurance through State Farm life insurance they have not always been a cooperative company and I will continue on Facebook to let people know how and why State Farm has not allowed me to have auto insurance I think its a joke that you don't know the whole story you can delete this email but I will continue tell my story I work for a company and heating and cooling and I service over 5000 homes I'm on facebook all the time how many people do you think are going to hear my words because I'm upset with State Farm

I was hit by a young lady ensured by State Farm. That was about 5 weeks ago. A few weeks later I was told they approved my claim. Then they called me and said, "wait a minute" ... the young lady was saying her brakes failed (anti-lock brakes, yea right), they were going to investigate further. Then they called me a week later saying my claim was again approved. They sent me all the paperwork to file for my payment. So far so good. Then I get another call, "we're still investigating ... it's quite a difficult case." .... I go, but wait ... I already have all the paperwork saying you approved. "No ... you understand ... a difficult case, still investigating." So I've been told twice I'm approved and twice they've reneged. I see they have a Code of Conduct. Don't bother reading it. Apparently, it's more for window dressing than anything else. Their word is not exactly something you can take to the bank.

A lot has changed with State Farm over the years. I have been a State Farm customer for twenty nine years, and my family has been doing business with State Farm for 50 years. I last filed a claim some 15 years ago, at that point the service was great. Unfortunately the service I received during my last claim was so poor that I am leaving State Farm.
My problem centers around a one in a million car leak, a small hidden piece came loose in a drain. Which resulted in water flooding the passenger side foot well. I took the car to a local service shop, the drains were cleared , and the car stopped leaking. Two weeks later very heavy rains, which lasted several days came through town. The problem returned ten fold, a lot of water leaked into the car. Unknown to myself, the fuse box and other electronics are located under the passenger side seat. The electronics got flooded, and stopped working causing car failure.
I was advised to file a water damage claim, my local agent said that I was covered, so I did. It took over a week for a State Farm representative to look at the car. Then I heard nothing, so after a week and a half, I called the claims department. The claims department told me that I was not covered and would receive no payment. I created all of my own problems.
Now to my points.
After paying premiums for twenty nine years, creating thousands in profits for State Farm. Maybe someone could have called me to tell I was receiving no payment.
The two leaks might have been unrelated.
What is insurance for, my problem was an accident caused by rain, the dealership said a very heavy rain was required to flood the car to that degree. A sudden one time event.
I will lose between eight hundred and a thousand dollars because State Farm found a reason not to pay. I will point out that I file very few claims, and insure three cars with State Farm. If my next claim is in another fifteen years, then State Farm will lose far more the eight hundred dollars.

After my daughter truck was hit by another state farm insured they are tell ing me they aren't going to fix the hood that was clearly damaged by the boy that backed into my truck and then drove away to park somewhere else at my daughter's school I am a state farm insured as well as state farm carries the note for the truck. These people are complete and utter idiots and continue to refuse to correct these problems that I am having considering this truck had no dents or scratches and I only had the truck a month and even sent pictures to prove these facts pictures taken just the day before it was hit. Calling louisiana insurance commission filing a complaint and better business bureau. To do the same after seeing all these negative reviews. I will also be changing my insurance company after 30 years.

Samantha Vega, this is a person who don't know how to explain too person that they need to pay their medical bills when she make an offer. I was offered $2,500.00 but didn't know it included my medical bill of $1,950.00.
I received a bill from the medical provider on Friday 29 May 2015, so I called State Farm to find out why and was told the offer I received from Ms. Vega included the $1,950.00 which gave me only $550.00 for my injury's. There is something very wrong with this as I didn't know the offer include my medical bill. Spoke with Ms. Vega and was told the offer she gave me was final and it included the medical and yes I got only $550 for my injury's and it's final, had I known I wouldn't have accepted the offer.

Description of Complaint: State Farm, Annapolis, MD 21401

On November 23, 2014 @ approx. 1am my parked car was hit by an alleged drunk driver. I was not in the vehicle. A police Sgt. entered the copy & print bldg I was in. She advised me that my car had been hit & the driver had driven off. There was a witness so the police did have a license plate number of the perpetrator. Because of this offense, I had to have damage to my car repaired. The repairs were done in December 2014. In May 2015, approx. 5 months after the hit & run, I received a statement from my decades long insurance company, State Farm, indicating that they were increasing my premium by 20.69%. An Increase from 402.74 up to 457.96. State Farm noted on the form they sent me, the following: NOV. 23, 2014 NOT AT-FAULT ACCIDENT. PAYMENT(S) OF: $2,114 COLLISION (in all caps). I have been a customer of State Farm for 15yr or more & this accident was clearly NOT my fault. I was not even in the vehicle. MY premiums should not be increasing if my vehicle was subjected to a hit & run. The court citation for me to appear in court as a witness against the offender (although I was NOT a witness. I was in the copy & print store oblivious) states: Citation3 A FAILURE TO STOP AFTER ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED PROPERT)

Two months ago I bought a new car for my wife. While at the dealership I called my agent to add coverage for the new car and delete the Dodge Durango I was trading in. They deleted my sons Kawasaki Vulcan instead and left the new car with no collision or comprehensive coverage.

So first off I have been paying insurance on a vehicle I no klonger own, second my son has been riding his motorcycle for 2 months with no insurance, third they wont pay for my wifes windshield cause they claim I have no coverage, and lastly the credit union now wants me to pay for loan insurance since they claim I am required to carry collision and comprehensive without any lapses.

Not to mention I found out my agent is using unlicensed people to sell insurance in Texas which is illegal. I implore anyone who reads this STAY AWAY from Darren Miller and State Farm insurance.

My Husband has been with State Farm for many many years. When he and I were married about 8 years ago I too went with State Farm. They have us set up on different accounts. I called a couple of weeks ago to get a quote for Homeowner's insurance because we have decided to buy a house. The lady I was transferred to told me that our discounts of Multi Car and being Married were NEVER applied. So in about 8 years we have pretty much over paid by 8,000.00 dollars. She sent the error to another department to have it looked at and see what they would do about us over paying. Today my husband got the response back of them telling us that it was our fault and they were going to do NOTHING. She suggested that she would appeal it and see what they come back with. I would like to know their policy about this in writing, because I cannot find it anywhere.

So I received my bill today on 02/17/2015. It's due on 2/20?? Why can't State Farm mail these in a timely manner to allow us more time. This always happens. Then State Farm will post on my account online that account is going to be cancelled if payment not received, BUT... they never mail out the cancellations notices either. I contact my local agent office... They are rude, unpleasant & don't care. Had a very awesome agent who passed away a few years ago & since then new office, so unpleasant!! 58 years old & have been with State Farm since I was 16 & starting to drive. It's my fault my invoices are not being mailed to me or mailed out 3 days before bill is due. I will be moving on shortly here! Can't deal with this any more!!

This was an email I sent to my agent about my experience with her office manager. In response,I did not recieve an apology for the way I was treated, but because I did not understand what I was paying for. No compensation. Just that I was at fault for being treated that way. I will be discontinuing my 15 years of service with State Farm soon.

I am sorry to say that did not receive any out of the office reply from you. Therefore, because I did not hear from you, I felt I was being ignored. I am also extremely insulted by your office manager Ashley, and do not want to hear from her again, whether it be by phone or email. She has insulted me twice now, and I am quite frustrated and offended with my experience, about my policy cancellation.

I have called the corporate office today to complain about the way I was treated by her, and am currently looking for a different insurance company for auto coverage because of it. I have been a loyal State Farm customer for over 15 years, and have never been treated so poorly by anyone. It was never my intention to switch to a different carrier, only to change my policy, but I am so insulted by Ashley that I do not want to be a part of a Company who treats their customers with such disrespect.

I have been a Manger in customer service for 14 years, and know what it is like be hospitable to guests who enter my workplace. Your office manager told me when I originally called that, I shouldn't cancel my life insurance policy, because the last 3 people who did that, died right afterward, and their families were screwed out of funeral costs. I was appalled and taken aback by her comment. Then yesterday, she continuously interrupted me while I was trying to speak, telling me that it wasn't her fault. I don't really care who's fault it is, and at that point it doesn't matter who is at fault. What matters is that I wanted to speak with my agent, to get a solution to my problem. After about 15 minutes of our conversation, I told her that it was not a good idea for me to continue talking with her, because I was becoming extremely frustrated, didn't want to get anymore upset than I already was. She stated that she understood, but then kept telling me how this wasn't her fault. Again, I don't care who's fault it is.

I am waiting to hear back from the corporate office about what I can do to get this resolved. I am sorry that we were not able to connect on the phone. I remember meeting you back in June of 2010, and I really appreciated your kindness and willingness to get my policy worked out as soon as we could, because I was leaving the country on vacation with family. I hope we can figure something out.

Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Johanna Benincasa

The agent from State Farm Tricia Melnichak
was not truthful she and her staff lied about Auto insurance. I would not recommend State Farm.

I am a statefarm policy holder and I hate statefarm. Everyone should posts that are posted on how these so called agents handle claims. If it's no money for the company they don't want to help you at all. You the customer are at no importance to them.

I was in an accident on December 3, 2014 the other driver fled the scene that left me and my friends shooken up. I called the cops that night as well as state farm. I explained to them what happened and they gave me my claim number and a phone number to set up for car inspection. I tried the number that was given to me but I couldn't get through. So I decided to just go down to the office to see what they can do. The inspector said he will inspect but will not plug it in until later in the day. Since that day I had a problem with statefarm. I don't get call backs, I don't even know what's going on with my claim. And now they are saying they need to interview me in person. After so many times that they ask me to tell them what happened. They even say things in the report that I never told them happened. State farm is rude, selfish, idiot, and plan out jersey that doesn't care for their client. Only for themselves and their pockets.

Complaint State Farm Insurance
Wendell Bugs
I spoke to Wendell on December 3, 2014 at 1540

My mother is in the hospital and asked Wendell to call me to get a better understanding of the status of the claim. Wendell was rude and very sarcastic in all his responses to my questions. I wanted to know how I could get in contact with the claim owner Jim. I explained to Wendell, that I had already called Jim on his extension and left several messages and did not receive a call back. I wanted to know if there was a better way to contact this person that I was being referred to by many different agents involved with her claim. Wendell responded by saying that all he had was a number and extension for Jim. So, I asked for the corporate number to see if they could reach the claim owner (Jim). He did not know that phone number to his corporate office nor did he know whether or not if the corporate number for state farm insurance could be found on the web site. Wendell proceeded to explain to me that his job did not entail him looking at the state farm website to search for a corporate number. At that moment, I was very shocked by the unprofessional way in which he decided to handle my call. He could not get me to the claim owner nor was he able to help me with getting the number for the corporate office. Wendell and his team also had my mother in the hospital trying to contact the insurance company of other driver involved in the car accident to make sure their insurance would cover my mothers stay at the hospital and my dad's surgery. I'm not sure why she pays a premium every month, and then has to take care of all insurance claim billing herself while in the hospital. As her daughter, I am trying to help her out, but I can not work with an insurance agent who is rude, unprofessional, and lazy. My mother should not be in the hospital making calls to many different agents on her end and the other drivers end to get things paid. Wendell's attitude towards me was nasty. He was very short with me, and towards the end of that call phone call, I realized that I was talking to someone who really didn't' give two cents about the customer or his job. When attempting to provide quality customer service, it would be wise not to purposely upset the customer with sarcasm and rudeness.
