We are staying at a Comfort Inn in Maumee, OH. None of the employees wear masks, in spite of a state wide mandate. We aren't getting our room tidied daily, for fear of getting exposed to COVID.Annoying and worrisome.

My son stayed at the Comfort Inn in Tallahassee an when he woke up this morning 1 of the maids had come in his rom while he was sleeping an took everything he owned including his jeans, phone, overnight bag an all leaving him asleep in his underwear only. He over slept as his phone was his alarm clock an when he woke up an noticed he called the front office an they said they had found it which is total bull. He told them to bring his stuff back to his room or he would come down there in his underwear. They did bring it too him but I do not recommend staying at this comfort Inn unless you want to be robbed blind. He did have $50 missing from his wallet also.

Comfort Inn and Suites - Pueblo CO. I moved to Colorado and am staying at this hotel for a month. The second night here, my vehicle was broken into and things were stolen. I spoke with the front desk and all they said was "Sorry about that." The hotel is not taken care of, could use a lot of cleaning, and the staff do not seem to care about their customers. I have always had great stays at Comfort Inn but this one has been horrible. Now I am stuck at a hotel where I do not feel safe and that could care less.

My husband and I stayed at Comfort Suites in Fernandina Beach FL on two separate occasions. Aug 11 week-end and Sept 27. We were there as it was my son's birthday in Heaven. We decided we would come back for his anniversary of his passing. Sad times for me. As we checked out in August we asked if we were to book early enough could we request 3rd floor ocean view for the 27th of Sept. We were advised that that would work as we are Diamond members. My husband booked the room over a month in advance and requested third floor ocean view. He called last week as a reminder. Was advised that they would do the best they could. We arrived on the 26th about 1:00. We were advised check in is 4:00 and we have to come back at 4!! We reminded the clerk (Cherisia) that she would call us when our room is ready if it is before 4:00 She never called. We went back to check in about 3:50. Cherisia was not there. We had the most unpleasant clerk (Josie) treat us with no respect at all. We asked as a Diamond member for the 3rd floor ocean view. Her response was that the 3rd floor is still being cleaned by staff and not ready yet. I said it is check in time and a whole floor not ready? We said we will wait for it then..she said it doesn't work that way. Said we get the room they choose and not what we choose. I was getting ill by this time so I sat down but could hear her telling my husband that he can be upset as he wants but it will not change and basically to get over it. She spoke over him and rolled her eyes when he asked for a manager on duty. She said she was the MOD even though the sign said Juan Robles. By this time I am in tears seeing my husband being treated like he was nothing. My husband was trying to make the worst day of my life ( my sons passing) to be one of comfort to me. We were assigned a room on the second floor. My husband just said "can't you make an acception here". She told us there are other hotels! We went to the 3rd floor...there were no maid carts up there and plenty of rooms appeared available. We then saw a couple who checked in AFTER us about 10 minutes later go to the 3rd floor! My husband went back to the desk and told her he doesn't like being lied too. She said nothing. Never an apology or one kind word. Period! I was so saddened by this whole experience. We are Diamond members and question what that really means. First of all 4:00 check in? You cannot have a request honored or respected. Being mistreated by Josie will not bring us back to your hotel ...any of them! She says no to the 3rd floor for us, but people behind us can? So what is it? First come first serve wasn't it? Requesting didn't do any good. So tell us please what diamond member means. We will add one positive word. As we were checking out on the 27th my husband told the young man how sad we were and our treatment was terrible as Diamond members. HE apologized and thanked us for being Diamond members. Maybe Josie needs to be trained better...

Comfort Inn in Ocean Springs MS: Our stay was not a good one. There was no hot breakfast because the staff said the state would not let them serve breakfast during Covid 19. We got a hot breakfast at a Hampton Hotel also in MS a couple of days earlier(?). Smoke and television noises filter through from the room next to us and there were bugs, a centipede looking insect crawled out of our air conditioner and up the wall (really creepy). The staff was indifferent to our needs. I would be hard pressed to stay in another Comfort Inn. Not a good stay.

I stayed in Ukiah, CA on August 8, 2020 and had a problem with my CLC card. CLC fixed the issue but my AmEx was charged and has yet to be returned to me. I have emailed a copy of my AmEx, drivers license and the form the Comfort Inn sent me over 2 weeks ago. I have a crew that usually stays 10 days at a time with 3 to 4 rooms each time. Comfort Inn will not be receiving any of my corporation's business in the future, all over $109.89. I hope people stay away from Comfort Inn in Northern California.

I have complaints on my stay at Comfort Inn in York Neb. The manager won't call me back. We had bugs in our room, ice buckets were dirty, drawers in rooms were dirty. Rooms 206 and 208 no hot water in room 206. I left the bugs with front desk clerk. Horrible stay. I think a full refund should be coming to me.

I need you to know my experience at the Comfort Inn in Lansing IL; which has me never, ever wanting to stay at another Comfort Inn. First of all the number on the website was a third party; can't resolve problems with them or location. So, when I got to the location; the reserved prepaid nonrefundable two queen bed room was unavailable. Long night; no power at home; no place else to go; had no choice but to stay in King bed with let out couch room. I was with my adult son; so that means we don't sleep in the same bed. He needs bed because of illness and sleep machine. Get to room no linen on couch; have to request linen and make up couch myself. Go to bath; find used dirt face towel on counter and used bar of soap stuck to tray; call down to front desk to complain. Okay, go back to let out couch; so uncomfortable; I yell to my son who is now using the bathroom; that I'm not going to be able to sleep on this couch. So, now we have to share a bed. Okay, it's big enough; no problem. Get in bed; turn over on my right side as to not face my son; look over and there is a used condom on the night stand. Night clerk came up removes condom; apologized and assured me he would make a note of it. Next morning go down speak to GM; nothing can be done until they communicate with third party. But, we will move you to another room. Contacted third party, they claimed they could not reach the hotel. Stay the second nonrefundable night. Made arrangement at Hampton Inn in neighboring state and spend the next three nights in a clean comfortable two queen bed room.

We recently stayed at your hotel. I can honestly say I have never had such poor customer service nor such an unpleasant experience at a hotel.

From the first drive thru the parking lot with derelicts hanging around looking to steal from vehicles, grilling in the parking lot, urinating on the sidewalk we were already concerned. Then, upon entry, we were assaulted with the extreme smell of cigarette smoke that permeated both the entire lower floor and the rear elevator which was filthy. It was late so we decided to hope things got better and went to our room (555).

It is our custom to shower before bed, and especially this night, as we had an early morning call. Immediately realizing there was only one towel in a room booked for two, we called the desk to ask for more. We never received them that night at all.

The next morning I spoke to the desk before we left, in the hope that all of this could be rectified. As we left, there were people sleeping in the parking lot, garbage, booze bottles and cigarette butts everywhere. Unfortunately that was not to be the case. When we returned late in the day the parking lot was filled with police cars, most of the derelicts were missing but the trash was still everywhere. We came in thru Outback where we had a late lunch and was informed by the staff of the restaurant that the hotel was housing homeless people as a source of revenue. While that is an admirable thing to do, it should not be to the danger and inconvenience of paying guests. Once again the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. I have asthma. This put me in severe discomfort. Again, the rear elevator was filthy. Again we felt we were forced to spend any time locked in our room for safety sake and had to watch our car out our window for fear of theft.

Fortunately this was to be our last night at this hotel. Of course, when we returned, there were NO towels in the room at all. Not just one this time, but none. I immediately called the desk and requested towels and two extra pillows to support my husband who has a bad back. After 3 more calls we were told that housekeeping was gone for the day and we could come get it ourselves. I had no intention of running the gauntlet of drug users and creeps in that hallway again and requested a manager. I was unceremoniously dumped into voicemail and never received any response. Finally after approximately an hour someone knocked on the door and gave us 4 towels but not pillows. I gave up. This was going to have to do. Thank god it was the last night in this hellhole.

You would think this would be then end. We would leave in the morning and it would all be over. Unfortunately no. We were forced, in the morning to ride down in the still filthy elevator, with the accompaniment of urine on the floor. Someone had urinated in the elevator. And we had no other option to ride in it because the stairwell and the only other elevator on the floor were locked, creating a fire hazard and once again endangering me and my family.

I have contacted corporate Comfort Inn. I would have thought that they would want to know the conditions at one of their hotels. I am not sure that is the case but I am going to copy them on this email also.

I would think that you would refund our money. This certainly is not how I expected to be treated at a "Comfort Inn."

So much for comfort

We stayed at Comfort Inn in Barboursville, WV July 18 & 19 and had to look at 3 different rooms before we got one that did not smell like mildew. Additionally, we fought ticks for both nights we were there. Infested as we saw about 10, one on the neck of my pajamas. We knew our sheets would not be changed for 3 days, we only stayed two nights, but no beds were made, no clean towels, toilet paper, or soap that we needed offered. I am headed out in a couple of weeks to Berlin, OH, but definitely will not even look at a Comfort Inn for lodging. So disappointing and totally unacceptable. I generally leave a tip for the cleaning staff, of course, that did not happen.

RE: Comfort Inn & Suites
3610 Dawn Drive, Lumberton, NC, 28360, US
Date: June 23-24, 2020

My Husband and I stayed at this hotel on the night of June 23, 2020. We had been traveling since early that morning and checked in approximately dinner time. We checked in and then went to eat dinner then came back to sleep. We had to leave early in the morning to continue our travels and we were extremely tired. After we were all showered and ready for bed, we discovered our bed sheets were stained with many stains! It was shocking and disgusting! The towels also were not clean looking. The face-cloths looked like they had been cleaning rags that were washed but stained and not acceptable at all. There were what appeared to be "crumbs" between the sheets as well. This was a dirty guest room, not at all acceptable! We would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor would we want to stay there ever again. The breakfast was supposed to be included however under the current COVID circumstances I do understand that they could not serve breakfast, however they could have either discounted the rate or given us more than a bottle of juice. We did not feel comfortable here and could not wait to leave. NOT a COMFORT hotel as the name suggests! I feel we were ripped off. The room was totally unacceptable.

I am disappointed there is no hot breakfast offered with my stay. That was one of the selling points when I booked my stay. Now I will have to go somewhere else and spend more money to eat breakfast. I feel I should be discounted for this expense and inconvenience. This is an expense I had not compensated for. I have stayed at many Choice hotels and this is the first time this has happened.

My name is Lisa Jolley. I booked a room at Comfort Inn Rochester/Greece NY on February 27th to watch my 7 year old grandson in States wrestling in Brockport on Saturday the 14th. My reservation was for the 13th of March check in 4 pm till the 14th of March. Due to the Corona Virus the tournament was cancelled. Comfort Inn will not refund my money but instead want to give me points. If I cancelled my reservation just for the heck of it I would understand, but I have no control over the Government shutting down events due to nation wide panic of a epidemic. I am disputing this with my credit card. All other hotels, such as Fairfield are refunding customers. Step up Comfort Inn.

Not happy with phone cancellation process. At the end of the phone conversation was transferred to a high pressure extra points/gift card promotion. Once connected, I said no, but clerk kept saying that I said yes. Would not answer my question of," Help me Understand why you don't understand my "no" response. Was continually and rudely interrupted, so I had to hang up. By far one of the worst experiences I've had in a long while. All I wanted to do was a quick cancellation due to weather, and didn't have time for this as I had an appointment to attend to. Also did not receive the email I was promised.

Hello. I initially went through the property I stayed at to attempt to resolve a conflict. Since they are refusing to contact me back, I'm attempting to resolve through corporate.

I stayed at Comfort Inn in south Tacoma March 21st and 22nd. A Thursday night to a Saturday morning.

I arrived back at my room Friday around noon to find all of my belongings missing and my room cleaned after I placed a "do not disturb" sign on my door. I went to the front desk and asked what happened. After 20 minutes of the two girls up front trying to figure out what happened and attempting to avoid me. The maid informed me they never put in my second night so they cleaned my room assuming I was supposed to check out Friday.

They then retrieved my belongings from a garbage bag and handed me 2 gigantic bags of my belongings.

First of all my personal belongings were touched, disrespected, and put in trash bags. I have OCD (medically diagnosed.) So this spiralled my entire weekend into a terrible OCD episode because of how my things were handled. I was unable to attend my business conference because of this. A hotel should take this absolutely seriously, and they are not. In fact they were nothing but rude and unprofessional about it.

The girls up front informed me that the manager conveniently wouldn't be in until AFTER I checked out Saturday. I find this impossible to believe that NO manager is on duty for 2 days.
They promised me the manager would comp the room and try and make things right. They took down my number and email and promised she would call me Saturday around 3 or so. By mid week I still hadn't heard from her so I left an email review. To which she passively aggressively offered zero compensation. I've emailed her back twice with zero communication from her. I'm appalled. I work in customer service and this is ridiculous. Avoiding responsibility is all they're doing.

I expect a full refund for the miserable service I recieved. I didn't pay $200 to be treated like garbage by your staff.

We just stayed at the downtown Chattanooga Comfort Inn. We used our points for the first night of the 11th and paid $149 for the second night the 12th. When we returned to our room at 6 PM on the 12th we found that all housekeeping had done was remove all towels. We called down to the desk asking for some to be brought up. We were ok with bed not being made. We return to room again around 10:30 PM and found nothing had changed. We could not shower. We found out the next day there were no linens to be had in the entire place. Very disappointed especially since I had tried to book the room with reservations for the $123 rate that was showing on your website. He kept arguing with me telling me it was not showing that. We always try to stay with Comfort but will check each site out a little more carefully in the future.

Good day my name is John Earle my family and I are staying at the comfort inn. In Hill City ND our reservation is paid up until this Sat unfourtunatlly due to health reasons we have to return to Canada a day early. I was told however that I might not get the last night reinbursed because I payed by credit card and would have to speak with the manager in the morning we are however leaving at first light. Is this in fact the case. If so as a military veteran who has both medical issues and others I would be quite disappointed as I am a Great fan of your hotel chain. Is there any way this can be rectified as I find it quit distressing. Thank you John Earle my confirmation . Now to be clear I have NOT YET SPOKEN to the manager and will not be able to as we plan to leave at first light. Again any assistance in this matter is greatly helpful
