Trying to verify funds with Bank of America is the a horrible thing. Waited on line for 30 minutes just to verify funds for a customer.

What a horrible process they have ,no wonder some locations are closing.

Almost impossible to get a hold of a live agent. I've been on hold for over 60 minutes.

I deposited a check for $15,000 on Saturday and they're saying funds won't be available for 9 days even though the check has already cleared by our Credit Union.

I have been on line for more than 30min, yet still not answered. It is a shame for "Bank of America", such a big bank with such bad services!

It took me THREE phone calls to get someone to answer!!! Their phone tree is an absolute nightmare!!! It hung up on me twice, and it took over 9 minutes to get someone on the phone. Do your business elsewhere!!!

1/2 of BOA is own by Chinese company.....it says ALL. BOA service is the worst of the worst. Do they pick up anyone in the street for serving customers on the phone? 99% BOA customer service representatives over the phone present themselves as INCOMPETENT, NO BASIC MANNER, WAIT for your turn for 20-40 minutes. When you are finally connected to customer rep, they don't have knowledges about even simple issue..... ended up transferring multiple dept. It took for 1 hr -1.5hrs for getting simple answers. Some of Rep asked me HOLD after minutes of silence, then phone is suddenly disconnected, so I had to start all over again. After years of agony, I finally decided to transfer all my $$$ to other bank. It was like a Day & Night. I am pleased with new bank service.

I am very disappointed over holding deposited checks for over 10 business days that means two weeks. These checks were issued by same people and same banks and same amounts for the last 6 months and only last two months BOA hold them. I am long time customer and I have all of my banking( including my investment with BOA.

BOA ruled against me in a MasterCard credit card chargeback. 1) BOA violated the MasterCard chargeback guide rules as the acquirer response a) contained a lie b) had no bearing on the reason of the dispute, 2) BOA ignored evidence from the merchant and their partner organization that confirmed that my dispute was indeed a valid product quality concern, 3) BOA then called the merchant and had a ticket opened on my behalf for support without my consent and/or notification until after the fact, 4) despite numerous phone calls, emails and faxes BOA refused to acknowledge their beach of due process, 5) BOA personnel gave me conflicting information and argued with me, 6) BOA sent me a letter dated 2021-10-19 that arrived on 2021-10-26 only permitting me until 2021-10-29 to respond, 7) BOA does not send these letters through email / secure messaging and refuses to explain why, 8) BOA only allows submission of documents through fax and/or letter (impossible to arrive in 3 days time unless at extreme expense) and does not provide electronic submittal means online. All in all a completely disaster of a process and definitely not living up to BOA's stated promises to its customers.

About every 8 years or so, I forget my past experience with BofA and try to open an account again, once the account is open, all promises, all assurances, all commitments are forgotten and it's BOA business as usual. I opened a CC for an acct. transfer, which I have don't with other bank's CCs special offers with NO transfer fee. Didn't read the fine print, my fault. Once the acct. was open, I saw in literature about the fee and immediately called and closed the CC. I was assured that the acct. was closed, the transfer would not go through, all was good. NO! Got the bill with the fee. Called to complain. NO REMORSE. BoA is the most distrustful financial institution I have EVER been associated with in my 65 years! NEVER AGAIN!!! (i hope i don't forget, again)

BofA fraud especialist dept is in India. During the call, she just hang up when I asked her to repeat what she said. This is after putting me on hold for 45min.

Bank of America customer service is horrible.

I have been banking with them over a decade and I have been unemployed for a year and they treat me like a dirt.

First time I tried to get a loan for housing and they tried to screw me over by offering a one interest rate and then a week later the interest rate jumped one full percentage point. I was about to sign a contract so it was too late in the game.

Second time I tried to refinance the loan at 15 year term for a lower rate. Then on the day of signing the contract at the title company, the contract read the same rate but 30 year term. Bank of America loan officer tried to explain it was a clerical error. But I think they do this on purpose, hoping to screw a naive, trusting borrower.


Bank of America hire rude customer representatives, who are not there to help you, but try to be smart with you and test your banking knowledge.

I am going to switch banks now. I had it with these bastards.

Bank of America in Van Nuys CA has lost/stolen my $ 5000, but they won't filed my fraud report. I have reported in person and by phone. They claim they've sent a check to my address and it's been cashed, but they don't give me a copy of the check or other evidence because they know I was not in the U.S. at the time they sent the check and the time it was cashed.
I've sent emails to the branch manager,Marlon Guzman, but he doesn't answer my mail, but calls and says don't communicate with me by email just call me.
I'm going to report this to every FTC,CFPB and DC in LA. If you don't investigate and recover my money I will go on social media and warn people and ask for public help.

Bank of America safe banking is not safe at all! I applied for a loan and was approved for 3000.00 from Sun Credit Financial. Thru these hard times I thought thats what I could do. Well when I went to use my debt card it was locked so I called the bank I didn't think to much about it because I do have Safe BANKING. Well when i called the bank they released the funds. Well I tried to use my card again and it was locked again! This went on five times and each time they unlocked my card. On the 6th time I was angry because it was ridiculous. When I called I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and finally some lady gets on the phone and tells me that they shut down my account and told me it was a business decision on there part! I have been a Bank customer for over 11years! I was devastated everything I had was connected to this bank. Im received disability direct deposits to this bank! For them to fo this and not tell me why? Well needless to say I was not going to take this without an explanation! I wrote and called there corporate office until finally some one got back to me a lady named Devin Harris who told me that someone filed a 3000.00 claim on my account and claimed to be me! I told her that there's was no way I filed a claim. I explained to her that I applied for a loan and was approved. I have the emails and loan documents to prove it. She told me that I could go and open up another account because I may have been the victim of a scam. I had to get a new account number and everything. She saud my identity may have been compromised. I was devasted. Why didnt anyine call me from the Bank right away or tell me something when I called 6 times prior? I made a repoet to the FTC and FBI. Now Sun Credit Financial is harassing over 3000.00 they saying I defaulted on the loan. So now I dont know what to do. Then well my direct deposit from socially security goes to my old account thats supposed to be closed. I was suppos3s to wait for it to go back to socially security so they can send it back to me by mail but Bank of America kept it! They said it was part of the investigation! Now I cant pay my bills and I am in worse shape than ever! Can anybody please help me? What do I do?

Bank of America is fraud!!!!!! They have stole my money. No banks are open no money in the atm machine. When I call I can't transfer or talk to anyone. But!!!! BOFA KEEPS TAKING MY MONEY!!!!!! FRAUD FRAUD THEY SHOULD ALL GO TO JAIL!!!

been trying for weeks and weeks to get a settlement for a judgement that came up on a title search...trying to complete a Short Sale on my house and give you back your home as i believe Bank america is the owner and Shellpoint mortgage is the administrator the judgement is listed as Jack Cordero from 2005. Need someone to verify it is still open and send me an Email with a n amount of settlement and warrant of release so i can finalize the Short Sale the judgement was included in a bankruptcy however the bankruptcy was Dismissed I would appreciate a answer to this issue as everyone i spoke with has no answers or solutions Time is of the essence before all documents have to be redone.....Thank you

Bank of America has the worst customer service of any bank I have used in the last 30 years. I have been a customer since 1993 and had a credit card with them for more than 10 years. I accidentally missed a payment to them of $36 dollars on my credit card and the dropped by credit limit by $10K dollars down to basically nothing. When I called they said they were sorry but this was part of the credit agreement. Wow, I have about 10 other credit cards and every card calls within a couple of days to say hey you missed a payment, can we get that from you. But no, BOA thinks they don't owe their customer's any courtesy and are unrelenting when you complain. I will be looking for a new bank for sure. They are rude and offer no help when you call and if you ask to speak with someone that can assist you, they tell you that is their department but they can't help you. Unbelievable!!

Can't wait to get my mother to another bank.. Bank Of America is just as abusive in their practices as a person on the street.. There is always an issue with this bank when it comes to my mother..You act like people are taking advantage of our Mother..my mother is 84 years old..and she should always have access to her money or anyone who has her okay and best interest... So sick of the abuse coming from this bank..and now my mothers account is on hold...so agitated..and disappointed that I couldn't even pay my mothers rent..!!!

Had a charge denied for gas at a filling station and called customer support to see if there was a problem with my account or just a bad card reader. Call wait time was about an hour an a half so I agreed to a call back. Their call back number was an 800 number with no name associated with it so my spam call blocker rejected it. When I called that number back to see if it might have been BOA, I got the same recording saying the call back wait was now over two hours. Later I saw a text from them asking if recent charges (and the denied charge) were legitimate. I wish they would call to ask about potential fraudulent charged before denying them outright. Plus the customer service wait times are atrocious!

Tried to call BofA Customer Service phone numbers for several days. My question did not fit their simple choice of checking/saving account. I selected support and they took me for LONG loop. I have never dealt before with such bizantine multilayer (I think it's four layers of options) phone menu that strives to promote useless banking products instead of helping a customer! Absolutely disgusting! BofA management must go all together to the lake and jump into it ASAP.

I respectfully requested the bank to NOT take all the funds out of my account at one time, $751.86, I asked that they take out 1/2 this month and the remainder next month, I explained that to take all at one time would place us in jeopardy, I explained that we are on a limited income, this stated with a complaint of fraud, the amount listed above was from a loan that was never put into place, I had given all of the bank info before electronic signing, the payment on the loan of $700.00 was to be $128.00 per month for 12 months, the 1st payment was $228.00 witch was taken from our account, they also took $523.53 out of the account stating that our payments would be that amount for 12 months, so I requested the bank to stop payment, because I had not agreed to that amount for payments, the bank paid them out of our account the amounts listed above ($751.86) in total. this is what my claim was about, now after checking my bank account I found that after paying my monthly bills that the bank has charged me 3 overdrawn fees ( $105.00)which has me further in the hole. Also I have contacted the fraud section 4 times, I told was that I needed to refile my claim and was told that the bank would send me the claim form, which I have never received.
