I went in to Rite Aid to get a flu shot. I was told they were busy and to come back during the weekend. The pharmacist did not offer any assistance to make an appointment or give me any kind of assistance at all. It was a very poor service in my opinion. My husband and I left and went to a different store where were helped immediately.

Rite Aid on 297 West Ferry Street used to have excellent customer service in their pharmacy. In the past several months the quality has diminished to where I have waited days for my childrens prescriptions and I am unable to reach anyone in the store or pharmacy by phone because they refuse to answer although the phone rings continuouly. Last night I was told to come back in 2 hours for my sons asthma meds, when i came back the line was longer and they were telling us they were closing early although tons of people still had no meds. There seems to be no manager on site, the store is a mess, there was a mentally ill homeless woman wandering the store. It is truly shocking.

Rite Aid in The Dalles OR used to be great but not so much anymore. I have had two bad experiences with them in a two week period. First one, I had a prescription put thru at 8:30 in the morning and it took until 4:30 pm to get it because they kept sending my husband away to come back later for my sinus infection medication. Next Prescription was put thru in the afternoon for an ear infection on a Friday, went to pick it up only to be told it would be Monday before it was done, they didn't contact me until Wednesday. Never again.

Rite Aid Eadt York, PS ish?rrible! They rarely answer phone's, lose paper work, don't return calls, don't inputinformatio, lose prescriptions, just horrible!!

Something needs to be done about your store in pleasant valley shopping center, the pharmacy is unbelievably under staffed and my prescriptions are never done when I need them I done know if it is a management problem but it needs to be resolved I was told my prescriptions would be ready at 12:00 today and they are still not filled. I have also dropped off prescription prescriptions 3-4 days ahead and still the never have them ready till late on the day they are due. Now I'm out of some of the ones that should have been done today and can't be without

The pharmacists assistant said f**k you walk away after I called the pharmacist a fu**ing c*nt. I am prescribed suboxin.I have been an addict for 40 years I have 7 months clean for the first time in my life.this medication has helped me achieve this.my insurance no longer covets this medication and I am disabled. I pay 123.00 for a month supply.no complaints. Well I went to my doctor on the 22nd and she ordered me a months supply. I didn't have enough to cover the whole script so I asked to buy 10 until I got my check.i was charged 50 for 10 that is more then double what I pay.i went back to get the rest of my script and and payed when I got home I realized she only gave me 10 I went back to rite aid and she said I have to pay 70 for the rest and she can't give them to me for a week. Look I live in a lower class area I understand that this drugstore deals with alot of bullsh*t from addicts however what she did is wrong. She said I'm calling the police. I don't have a problem with that,I'm clean I don't have warrants I'm trying to live life on life's terms and she's fuc*ing playing games with my sobriety 123 dollars for 56 subs.stops me from using heroin. I can afford this barley but i manageShe just charged me 100 dollars for 20

Rite aid at 81 1st ave, has the worst pharmacy. The
staff at pharmacy, never have your meds ready, after you reordered them. There was a time when they had your meds were in a plastic bag, and you would go to the pharmacy & just say your name, they were ready. Today you go to the Rite Aid pharmacy, and are told that there is no prescription available, even when you show them proof, you reordered on line. Each & every time I go there, you sit & wait while they do your order.
There is a reason, why people go there, to get their meds, which in some cases keeps them alive.
Throwing meds in boxes & then sought them out, makes no sense. I understand they have staff shortages, but why should the patron suffer do to it. It's their job to have your meds ready, why not just do it.

Rite aid Kent 104th wash Ave. I was told rudly to make an appointment for a flu shot. I tried but my phone would not let me complete the appointment so I went back to the store and explained I could not make an appointment. The rude RX person said I am not IT (phone). Go some place else where they are not as busy maybe they can help you. I said so you are telling a senior with no computer skills if you cannot make an appointment then I cannot have a shot. She repeated go somewhere else less busy. Done with Rite Aid

Naugatuck store pharmacy closing at 6 unaccessible 420 on a Tuesday 13 people in line in store and 11 in drive thru should not be like this where u have to wait in line over 30 minutes

Worst customer service ever. Been waiting 3 days for a prescription with absolutely no help from pharmacist. She doesn't get approval from insurance company. Doctors office called 6 times. No message acceptance. This would never happen at other drug stores

Rite aid rittman ohio. They never have medication in stock. My son has an eye infection. Antibiotic eye ointment was called in from the hospital before store even opened. I called at 930 am today and they informed me that they didn't have it but would call 2 other stores to see if they have it. I tried calling the rittman store 5 times and no one would answer. Finally reached them at 215 pm to find out they never called the other locations and never called me. I missed a whole day of work waiting for them! They have horrible service and follow through. I'll be changing to a different pharmacy.

2865 Elmwood Ave in Buffalo,NY has one of the worst sales associates I have ever met. Her attitude was disturbingly poor,she was rude,disrespectful and really needs to be trained better.
It's a shame when another worker has to apologize for the poor behavior of a fellow worker and inform the customer that she has witnessed this behavior before with customers as well as other personnel.
Dawn Manzella should not be in customer service if she doesn't like to work with people and provide customer service to the public.

Rite Aid pharmacy employees are the worst. I have gone to a few of them throughout the years and they all seem to have a power trip. Right how can a person really who just counts pills the majority of the day have a power trip? That's what I'm thinking, why and how... Now I'm sure their's more to the job than counting pills, but come on you do what that little piece of paper tells you to! You would think someone who counts for a living could count how many days since the last script was filled? Please can someone please inform the pharmacist that their are some months that have 31 days. While your teaching about the whole 30/31 days a month (I recommend a calendar) can you please inform them that sometimes you take your medication the same day the script was filled, so you count the day it was filled as 1-day and so on until you reach 30 than that day which ever day that is when you say the word thirty is the day you can refill your 30 day supply of medication. Not everyone is a drugged out junkie looking for their next score, but these so called pharmacist treat you like it! Please I can handle being treated like a no good junkie that you don't have time for, but it's tough to take that BS from a person who doesn't know the difference from a 30-day month and a 31-day month. Now let's talk about how much Rite Aid charges for prescription with no insurance! Between the over-priced medications and the power-trip egotistical pharmacists....I took it upon myself to find a pharmacy that doesn't treat their customers like a junkie with a endless supply of money! Thank you Rite Aid, I was paying $20 for 6 pills with my insurance, and $287 for the remaining 24 pills Now since I went looking for a non-judgmental pharmacy I have found a pharmacy that I pay $17 for my 30 pills without insurance.

How can you be charged for a prescription 220.00 when you have insurance but then go to a different pharmacy because it's to to much at rite aid and able to get it for only 43.00. That's alot of money ppl are being ripped off. I'd say someone don't know how to do there job correctly.

not helpful at ALL!
First of all The pharmacist completely ignored me. Didn't even acknowledge my existence. I had to knock on the window and still continued to ignore me. So annoying and RUDE!
Three of their staff members were in the front talking, when asking a question about a product they gave vague verbal directions, and instead of walking me towards the product (No one was in the store) only to find nothing similar to the product I wanted.
You can tell its mediocre check in-check out type of job for them.

Save a negative experience and go to Safeway. There is better customer service and you can avoid the dismissal of your needs.

Girlfriend purchased Just For Men hair coloring Brown color. A few days later I noticed the wrong color. Should have bought Blck). Receipt had been tossed but the box was not opened so I took it back to exchange it for Black coloring. Girl at the counter would not exchange it without receipt. I again stated I did not want a refund just exchange it for the right color. The box was never opened. Still "no exchange." DUMB STUPID STORE POLICY. Have shopped there for several years BUT NEVER AGAIN! Will go to CVS across the street from now on.

Self check out manchine on manhattan ave in Greenpoint was not working properly the cashier called the supervisor i showed her that i have a pending chanege on my bank account but the self service machine did not give me a receipt. she walked away and came back and said checked inside and the machine didnt charge me and i didnt do it right. I said i did scan it right, there must be something wrong with your machine because the charge shows pending. She said well whatever it didnt charge you and walked away. I will never shop in rite aid again.

I was visiting the Rite Aid store in Shamokin, PA. I was standing waiting for an rx when there was a tall short blonde hair technician that was ignorantly talking about the gay and transgender community. This kind conversation is so unacceptable in any kind of work place. If I was the management, she would not have a job. Store management must be overlooking this type of behavior.

Rite Aide Pharmacy in Meadville, is terrible!!! Now they won't allow me to refill my Gabapentin more than the day it is due!!!!! I used to be able to pick my Rx's up, elsewhere,up to 3 days early & that is because I work out of town up to 5 consecutive days. We sometimes work out of State also & I am the passenger, not the driver!!!
They are not friendly at all and never introduce themselves when I call!!!
They won't allow me to receive my Gabapentin now, because I am on Pregabalin also, but have been on both for 4 y ars because I have severe and numerous pain and weaknesses cond.
Also, it is dangerous to just abruptly STOP ANY kind of medication from a patient/ customer!!!! Have they even heard of withdrawals?!

Found this thread while researching a way to validate my in store return that's been denied.
Purchased on 2/5/22 with cash and, as always, entered my phone number for my Wellness+. I even received $5 in bonus cash (which I haven't used)for this purchase. Took the items back on 2/13/22 and was told that because I didn't have a receipt, I was only going to receive store credit. I stated the websites return policy, to which they had me enter my number, they then scanned my id and the items purchased. I couldn't see the screen, but something was on it because they were reading the screen. I am 100% sure I didn't say I had paid cash for the items, yet she said they won't be able to refund me cash that had been the original form of purchase, only store credit. Twice I have spoken to an agent (random call center, not an actual employee of rite aid) and chatted with an agent (again not an ra employee). The last one sent me a copy of the transaction. The header on it was "This cannot be used for returning products"... it's the receipt! Today is 2/20/22 and no one has followed up as I was told they would. I'm going to go to another store and get the credit there. I will not be going back to my ra. Not that anyone at the corporate level cares, obviously, but I will not be returning to ra after I finish this credit.

The staff needs training and learn how to deal with its customers. Should they be loyal to their customers or the insurance companies???????????? It seems like, that Rite Aid Staff is more loyal to the insurance companies than its customers by not providing the medicine as prescribed by the doctors. The Rite Aid staff tries to fill up the prescription with low grade and cheaper. This may result as a law suit against the company. Very disappointing. This is a public company and certainly needs new management to protect the shareholders from a law suit. The new management must provide a better customer service. Very poor customer service.
