Posted by Bill...Regarding Table Games

I was at your Olive Garden in Robinson Twp Pa.today for lunch...As always the food and service was exceptional...My problem is when we first sat down I played a few trivia games on the computer on the table...Nowhere did it indicate I would be charged...$1.99...

When it came time to pay I swiped the credit card and left...When I got home I looked at the receipt and was shocked to see I was charged for Table Games... Really????? Thank God I only played a few who knows what I would have been charged...I know the amount is not a lot but it is the principle..I should have been made aware of the charge..

Believe me if I had known I would not have touched that machine...I would appreciate a response from Olive Garden regarding my complaint...Thank You...

I am extremely disappointed in the service! I have been on hold and spoke to three different people trying to get one manager for a total of 27 mins now!! I placed an online order and my $6.99 dollar piece of cake was not in the bag and I am extremely upset that it is taking this long to resolve the issue and the only option they have is to come back even though I love two counties away!! I love 35 mins away!

Very disappointed For the first time dining at the Boca Raton location. We always go during your special advertising on tv that advertises $12.99 they said it was not available which we did see on tv that brought us there for that reason! Then my son his wife as well as myself ordered three sirloin steaks and lobster ravioli for 19.95.The ravioli was very disappointing which contained O lobster and through the steaks where tasty however small this was no way worth 20.00! It seems like what used to be one of my favorite top ten restaurants one being the best to not on my list anylonger. How unfortunat

My husband and I visited your Hickory NC location on Sunday November 20, 2016 at around 8:30pm. We ordered Sweet Tea as we do not really drink soda. We were told by our waitress Chyna that the Sweet Tea had been poured out. She said that this is a normal occurrence. This being the south it seems ignorant, since they didn't close for another hour. I ordered a water and later on got an unsweet Tea and tried to sweeten it but only took one sip because I couldn't get it to sweeten. This was charged to our bill and where as the waitress was nice, this ruined the only night we have been able to go on a date in long time as my husband has been fighting wildfires for the last 2 weeks. I am not happy with this restaurant as we do normally enjoy eating out at Olive Garden in a different location.

Our experience at 26000 Harvard D.,, Beachwood, Ohio 44122 was horrible. No one wiped off the table for 20-25 minutes. Ordered a drink and never got it til 3/4 finished with meal. The waitress was by herself. I got up 3 times to ask for service and/or clean table. As stated before..took 20-25 min.. No one was mean or nasty..we assume there is no "urgency" at the restaurant. No good management. Again, no one was rude or nasty...just not efficient. It was lunch time and there seemed to be more waiters in the dining area. We love Olive Garden but very upset with this location.

My family went to the olive granden in Middletown to eat dinner , there were 4 people . We ordered our food with out drinks , we received our drinks and salad . We waited and waited for our food but never got our food by this time an hour had passed a long hour . After I got back from taking my daughter to the restroom and our food was still not there I asked to talk to a manager , about 5 minutes later a service showed up with our food that looked like it was sitting on a warmer . We ate paid our bill got boxes and left . No manager every showed up , when we left I tried to call the store and ask for the manager but was informed that the manager was busy running the cook line , I was also told the were short on manager help because they had a manger on vacation and one helping another store . We paid 66.00 for our dinner and the manager could not find time to come to our table and find out what happened.

I love Olive Garden. Unfortunately I'm getting ready to quit going any time you have an issue and try to explain it management and wait staff are too busy trying to prove they're right and your wrong. They are politely argumentative. But will absolutely wont admit fault of their own. Tired of getting excuses thrown at me. And they really don't care what do you come back. If they did they would try to fix the problem instead of trying to blame the customer. And always blaming it on miscommunication

I love Olive Garden, however am so disappointed in the coffee that it prompted me to write a comment to corporate. The coffee is always barely warm. I've even asked the Waite staff to microwave it for me but they say they can't. Coffee should be hot (especially in Wyoming where it can be very cold outside). It's so disappointing, that I never order dessert. I really enjoy hot coffee. Many others share my thoughts.

We were at the Olive Garden in Greensburg, PA. Service was not good at all. We had 2 small children with us and it took over an hour to get our meals. She even said, she forgot to out our order in. We were done eating before she came over again. I had been out of water for a good while. Then we wanted more pasta and it took a while to get that. We were there for over 2 hours and didn'the even get any chocolate mints with our bill. Meanwhile the table next to us, which had about 8 people, she was very attentive to. It will be a long time before my family goes back to that location.

My husband, son & myself went to Olive Garden (Danville Va. location. It was 4:20 when we arrived, the restaurant wasnt busy when we arrived, we were immediately seated by the hostess. This is when the problems began, we waited 15 minutes before our waitress arrived to get our drink order(that we didn't get for another 15 mins) we asked if they had the unlimited pasta bowl, so she gets us 1 menu & lays it on the table & says she will return to take our order. We wait another 10 mins, she returns, takes our order & explains she will bring our salad after the clean tongs are available, about 10 mins later she brings our salad & she didn't even ask if we wanted any cheese, after I fix my salad, I stopped her & she grated cheese onto my salad. Finally another 20 mins later our entrees arrive & the Pasta had been setting so long it was COLD, HARD & DRY.
By this time I'm furious and requested to consult with the Mgr.(Anthony) I explained the situation from the time we were seated until food arrived, he advised us he would make sure we get another entree that will be HOT, however he didn't say it was gonna be another 20mins, we told the waitress to get our food & put it in a carry out box.
Not only did we waste all this time waiting to get our dinner but we even had to pay for it. I think $47.68 was too much for the salad & breadsticks we had.
I was so MAD, I was ready to cause a scene, but didnt!!
We were completely dissatisfied from beginning to end.

Not very happy for the fourth time with your restaurant. Never complain before but enough is enough. You servers are very pushy and rude...it is so hard to get another drink and my bill..for the prices you charge service should be better..I may have to look for new favorite restaurant. .

Hello. My husband and I love eating out, especially me, as I worked & raised family & cooked at home for decades. I AM NEVER CRITICAL -- HONESTLY. But for the first time I'm leaving a critique...as I feel this may "help" Olive Garden. (Downingtown PA location) I ordered the Chicken Marsala (thinking of my one experience with this at Cheesecake Factory -- it was so delicious) Oh my, what a TOTAL LETDOWN! Instead of a beautiful wine rendered mushroom sauce (Cheesecake Factory), Olive Garden's was gloppy sauce, 99% being cornstarch. TOO MUCH CORNSTARCH. I'm a cook -- I do recognize cornstarch. The sauce literally "held onto the fork" it was so thick!!! So disappointing for $15.00 A poor sauce imitation -- gloppy & thick. Even though I'm a size 4, and I absolutely gobble up *ALL* restaurant meals (in appreciation for "eating out") but I couldn't eat this. It simply was not worth the calories. Thanks for reading. I genuinely think if your Chicken Marsala is cooked like this in all your restaurants, then please please please pleasereconsider a recipe change. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! ABSOLUTELY! Thanks for reading! Jan Morton

A not so pleasant experience with a server named C. Not only was she unpleasant, she displayed an attitude of prejudice to me and my family. In fact we felt as though we had been profiled from the start. Heres why, first she did introduce herself among coming to the table the very first time. We did not know her name until after she brought our beverages to the table. Second she brought small plates to our table, one of which was dirty, and we had to request a clean one, because she took her finger and tried to wipe the dirt of the plate. Third our appetizers got to the table before our beverages. Mind you, she has not once been apologetic about anything. Next she brought out our bowl of salad drinched in salad dressing. So we order soup, and she let's us know how fresh and hot it is, but when she brings the soup to us, she proceeds to put our hot bowls onto cold salad plates. And her explanation to us is that the cold salad plates was all that she had. Why would she do this? By this time my sisters and I where very upset and quite offended. So we talked with a manager and left the restaurant. The worst service we have ever had at the Olive Garden in Winston-Salem, period. Something needs to be done about this type of behavior.

The worst experience I have ever had at Olive Garden was in Brunswick, GA . Our server Glenda was by far the worst . She didn't even acknowledge us until about 25-30 minutes of sitting there by telling us she will be right with us . After we order our food & drinks at the same time , it then took about ten minutes to get our drinks & soups/salads . After 53 minutes of being there , we were told our food would be up in 2 minutes . After waiting another fifteen minutes , we finally got our food & got to speak with the manager . He said , he would take care of it but of course nothing was done . We paid & left . We will most likely NEVER go back ! Oh & the whole time we were waiting she was at another table talking & laughing with her friends .

I visited the Woodbridge NJ establishment this past Saturday and would like to compliment our server Shampagne. This server was top notch and did not miss a beat. I have visited the restaurant many times and this was the first time I gave had this server. I will ask for her all the time. Her demeanor was relaxed, poised, friendly and very professional. Her appearance was also spot on. Her uniform was clean, pressed, her hair was up not dangling and she wore a gentle smelling cologne. This young lady is the epitome of a professional server. She should be a trainer for all new and existing employees. Shampagne made my dining experience pleasurable.
I did let the general manager Nick of our good experience with Shampagne. Ijust wanted to let corporate know what a valuable employee they have.

Just left the location in Chattanooga TN where i was dining with my sisters. When it came time to pay my sister gave them a 100 dollar bill. The manager then returned to inform her that they couldnt take her bill due the fact that the machine couldnt read it (because it was an old bill). She asked her if she had another way she could pay (even though she had already told our waitress it was all she had). When she told her she didnt she proceeded to look to my other sister and me expecting us to pay it. I asked her "what would you have done had we not been here?" She then acused me of saying that i was going to leave without paying. I said " no, what would you have done had she been dining alone?". She said it still wouldnt change the fact that they couldnt take the bill. She was very rude embarrassed us in a restaurant full of people. She spoke to us as if we were trying to pass off fake moneym I feel that as a store manager she could have handled it better. Very distastful.

After months of waiting (April) to use my gift card for my birthday, finally I was their, so much to choose from, than my girlfriend pointed out, hey girl they have pasta with shrimp and asparagus your favorite, well the decision had been made. while waiting I had a glass of wine waiting with great anticipation, needless to say, the waiter brought my plate out, dry, unappealing and NO asparagus!!!what!!!he than stated the kitchen didn't have any and I responded "do you think you could have told me that before you placed my order"? The manager came over and stated the truck had not arrived with it on it
what!!!!I was so disappointed but didn't want to show it as I talked my friend on going after she had other plans. No other conversation from the waiter or manager or any compensation. I am very disappointed by the fact of no communication what so ever. Well I guess I will think next time about the place I choose for lunch if you know what I mean

This comment concerns the Olive Garden restaurant in Memphis Tennessee Poplar Avenue. I had visited this restaurant before without any problems. I am the coordinator of the group of ladies who eat various restaurants across the city. I called as usual to reserve an area for this particular day and time. I was told that I could use call ahead seating, I asked to speak to the manager to make sure the area would setup when we arrived. The young lady I spoke with said no I'll put it on the books. When we arrived no one had any knowledge of an area for our group. The young lady very accommodating on the desk in the front of the restaurant, she repeatedly tell me that you could have used call ahead seating. But you can speak to the manager if you'd like. I did in the manager ,Karen, was just as unaccommodating. We therefore had to wait 20 minutes for them to set up an area, and then were waited on by two young ladies who were clearly overwhelmed by the task. I will not visit this location again. Management and staff training in customer service is clearly something that would benefit this location.

we were a party of five and we arrived at 11:20 on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at store 1364 in Laurel, Md. we were seated at the corner on small round table, number 23. they continue to put more 15 people in our dining area. people and chairs are bumping each other, diners were cramp. while other rooms adjacent to ours were unoccupied. the waitress' cell phone kept on ringing while she was taking our orders, which was bothersome. while we were on the way to the restroom, there were 8 waitresses congregating loudly in the lobby area. they were blocking access to the bathroom while my mother of 83 years old needed to go to the bathroom. there was an olive garden young employee (not handicapped) that used the handicap stall and my mother have to use the regular stahl which was a concern for her. the bathroom have grime build up around the stahl according to my mom. while we were eating, we noticed dead bugs on the overhead chandelier, each cups holds noticeable dead bugs. we called the manager and inform him of the situations but he receptive to our concerns. the waitress Janae was very polite and courteous but appeared inexperience to handle the packed dining room. there was a long wait for the food and refills for the drinks. overall our current experience can be better. we believe the management needs more improvement in regards to the employees' behaviors at the lobby.

I went to the Olive Garden in queensbury New York. When it was time to cash out I had given the waitress a coupon and a gift card. She came back and gave me the balance on my check and said I owed $1.72 . I put out a twenty dollar bill and she took it to go pay my balance. But she came back and said she made a mistake and my bill was $52.00. She said there was only $1.25 on my gift card and I was totally shocked by that so I gave her my credit card and she went and cashed me out . Didn't even offer to give me back my gift card that supposedly only had $1.25 on it It was very busy in there and she just left the table after she brought it back for me to sign. And there were only two receipts one for me and other for her. Nothing about what all meals cost or anything. Yes after that I just got up and left cause we waited long enough for the service food and check. Yup my fault for not conform ting waitress about the mistake. But make no mistake I will not go back Just can't believe it was a big mistake on her part. How do you come up with the big difference in amount owed. So I'm very disappointed in Olive Garden
